Posted: 08 Jun 2020 10:59 AM PDT The Latino Student Fund's Tutoring Program is seeking volunteer tutors for our virtual Summer tutoring program and believe students could make a difference in the lives of children in our community. The Latino Student Fund's Tutoring Program provides free support and academic assistance to Washington metropolitan area students to ensure their academic success. We aim to close the achievement gap by offering individualized tutoring to support students from PreK through 12th grade in math and reading. We will be offering a virtual summer tutoring program from June 22nd to July 31st between 12 pm and 3 pm on weekdays. Tutors can volunteer for as many or as few sessions as they would like. We will provide all of the materials for students to work on during their tutoring sessions. Volunteers can sign up using this link to begin tutoring with us: latinostudentfund.volunteerhub.com And they should fill out this Google form to indicate their interest in tutoring with us virtually this Summer: https://forms.gle/Hddbb3EszkU23fXt5 We believe tutoring with LSF is a great way for your students to give back to their community during this difficult time. |
