Bukola Adeeyo Gets N1m As Birthday Gift From Anonymous

Nollywood actress, Bukola Adeeyo got a 1million naira gift from an anonymous person.

The actress took to her instagram stories to thank the person and dropped a screenshot to prove her claim.

Recall Bukola Adeeyo clocked 32 years old, three days ago. The actress who was born December 18, 1989 in Ibadan is the oldest of four children in a family of four.

Bukola schooled in Ogun state and in 2008 she joined Odunlade Adekola films production, where she started her acting career. She made her acting debut in the film ile owo, which paved the path for her future parts in other films.

Bukola rose to prominence in the Yoruba film industry after starring in the film, Sunday dagboru. She won 'revelation of the year' (female category) at the 2016 best of nollywood awards and was nominated as 'best actress in a supporting role' (Yoruba) at the 2018.

Bukola Adeeyo husband/baby daddy is unknown although she claims to be married to a millionaire. The actress has been embroiled in numerous social media debates on the matter. She has two children.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Uriel Oputa seems to be on financial management as she cries out over the high cost of a flight in the country.

As the price of goods and services begin to rise in the country, the airport seems no different as reality show star, Uriel sent out public message on her Instagram page as regards her economy class preference.

The self-proclaimed music star sent out a message stating if anyone sees her in an Economy Class on a plane should not denote that she is suffering.

With the price of Economy Class sky-rocketed to N1.5M, Uriel made it known that rather than flying a Business Class, she would manage that of Economy Class instead.

"Have you seen ooo. Premium economy ticket is 1.5M. Let's not talk about Business Class. pls pls pls. Let me announce this is you see me flying economy, no go say Chai dis girl dey suffer. Upcoming singer, Portable drags Pocolee for allegedly stealing his song and the money Wizkid sprayed on him – “You wan rip me, use your brain o”

Upcoming street-hop singer Portable, also known as Zazoo, has called out dancer Poco Lee for allegedly hijacking his song.

Portable who made headlines after being introduced to rapper Olamide by Poco Lee to make a song titled 'ZaZoo Zehh', claimed Pocolee is trying to steal his song.

Following the release of the song on the 14th of December 2021, it introduced Poco Lee as the owner of the song, while indicationg Portable and Olamide as featured acts.

However, Portable in a trending video slammed Poco Lee, claiming that the dancer hijacked the song from him and has cornered the money Wizkid sprayed him at the recently-held Wizkid livepsot concert.

Akah Nnani pledges to his daughter as she turns one –“I will never be an absentee father”

The veteran Actor, Akah Nnani is celebrating his daughter, Gabrielle, who turns one year old today December 21.

The ecstatic father prayed for his daughter and promised to do his part as a father in a post uploaded on his Instagram page.

Days after splashing millions on Lamborghini, Davido moves into his new mansion in Banana Island, Lagos

Popular music star, David Adeleke, better known as Davido is said to have moved into his unique mansion situated in Banana Island, Lagos State.

This was alleged by the IG blogger, Cutie__juls who revealed that Davido's mansion has some unique specifications such as the garden and poolside which makes it the talk of the town.

This is coming after the singer splashed a whopping sum on a Lamborghini Aventador.

The gist was also accompanied by a similar story of the popular Ghanaian actress, Jackie Appiah who is said to have also moved into her new dripping mansion in Trasacco, Accra.

Zlatan Ibile Promises N7.3m Reward To Anyone Who Finds His Designer Glasses

Popular singer, Zlatan Ibile made Nigerians go wild on social media as he offers a whopping sum of money if anyone can find his missing glasses.

The Nigerian singer took to his Instagram a few moments ago to reveal how one of his cherished and expensive Cartier glasses got missing at a show last night.

The price of Cartier glasses is said to begin in the $500 (N255,000) range and can run over $6,000 (N3,060,000).

Lamenting over the loss of this expensive item, Zlatan promised $18,000 (N7.3million) to any fan who can find it and give it back to him.

In his words;
"I get 18k USD (N7.3M) for anyone who can find my Cartier glasses. AZUL no make me remember wetin happen last night"


Of course, many Nigerians reacted to this huge sum of amount because of missing glasses. While some questioned the amount of the glasses, others claimed the N7.3 million is an audio reward.

Davido who was in Asaba on Tuesday had the opportunity to make the dream of a fan come through after taking a photograph with the young man.

The fan who could not believe his eyes lost control emotionally as he burst into tears after being acknowledged in person by the billionaire's son.

Nollywood actress Onyii Alex, has gifted the sum of 150, 000 Naira to the mother of her colleague, Alexx Ekubo, as she praised the actor for being a faithful friend.

The gesture comes a few days after actress Linda Osifo surprised Alexx with a credit alert of 100,000 Naira.

Movie Producer, Llyod Weaver Passes On

American filmmaker Lloyd Weaver and director of the popular Nigerian TV series I Need to Know is dead. His death was announced by Aderemi Ogunpitan in a Facebook post on Monday.

"Olalekan Babalola just sent the information that Baba Lloyd Weaver has passed on to return his ancestors. The news was a sad one. I learnt so much from this creative loving and gentle soul who gave so much to the Nigerian creative Industry. He arrived in Nigeria as part of the Jakaranda American team to train producers at NTA.

"Thereafter, himself, Tony Cunningham and Earnest Dunkley formed an independent TV and Film production company CDW who went on to produce some of the most iconic Nigerian TV commercials for some of Nigerias top advertising agencies in the 80′ and 90's. They later formed Swift Studios, where I was the Executive Producer, working with other Nigerians such as Patrick Afun , Pat Nebo, Olumide Ofere and many others. I learnt so much from him and he remained a mentor until his death.

"Lloyd loved Nigeria and its people. He emersed himself in our culture and his African roots, and was unashamedly proud of his Africaness and blackness. He was a great educator and shared all his knowledge with everyone he came into contact with. He has left behind a great legacy and example for many of us who knew him. He will be missed. Rest in Peace Papi! You were a giant and will ever remain so," the post read in parts.

In 1982, Llyod travelled to Nigeria to train the staff at Nigeria's television network.
 
In 1987, he founded Swift studios and produced, directed and wrote several TV commercials, documentaries and films. He directed I Need to Know which features Funke Akindele, Carol King, Yemi Solade, late Enebeli Elebuwa and others.

In October 2015, the filmmaker relocated to New York.

Nollywood actor, Ibrahim Chatta has revealed the reason behind his depression that made him cry out on social media.

Some days ago, Ibrahim Chatta took to social media to reveal that he has been living in frustration for quite sometime and was only pretending all was well.

A lot of the actor's friends and colleagues who tried to console him dropped messages under his post, telling him all will be well and that it was a phase which will pass.

Today, Chatta shared another video of himself, thanking all those who reached out to him, saying he was truly better.
He went further, saying the reason he got depressed was because he lost one of his horse and it affected him.

The dark skinned actor who sounded a lot like his usual excited self, seemed a lot better, judging from the video.
Chatta said he wasn't really looking at the monetary aspect of his loss, but the fact that he is an animal lover.

Former Big Brother Naija season 6 Shine Ya Eye stars, and co-housemates, Maria Benjamin Chike, and Roseline Afije, aka Liquorose, have linked up, big-time in Abuja.

The former Shine Ya Eye contestants, were seen together in the Nigeria's capital city on Sunday, December 19.

Following an event, hosted by Liquorose's management, Play Network Africa, some of the reality television stars, such as Nengi, Kim Oprah, who are managed by the entertainment firm, also attended the event.

Maria, as we learnt, was also available for the event, after which she met her bestie, Liquorose, who took some snapshots with her.

Maria was heard in the video talking about how she suspended her flight to support her Bestie at the event.

Reacting to this, Liquorose said while on IG Live, "Now she is gonna make y'all feel she do come through for me".

Davido Recounts How He Felt During His N200m Donations – “I Went Into My Room And Started Crying”

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido has recounted how he felt when donations from friends and colleagues started coming in. The singer who featured in Temisan Emmanuel's TeaWithTay lates episode revealed that the call for N200m donation was not planned in anyway as many believe.

OBO narrated that he was getting a haircut at his balcony when he decided to ask his close friends to donate the sum of N1 million  as birthday gift. Soon after, he said he copied the intended message to be sent to his friends and pasted on his Twitter and boom, the rest is what we all know today.

Davido revealed that he was overwhelmed when the donations surpassed 60million,
