Ghanaians react bitterly after Frank Edoho made them face the reality of their World Cup qualification; Nigerians rejoice

Popular television host, Frank Edoho has made a remark that has hit Ghanaians hard despite their country's qualification for the 2022 World Cup at Nigeria's expense.

On Twitter, the Nigerian TV host made Ghanaian football fans face the reality of their World Cup qualification after they massively ridiculed Nigerians with it.

In what turned out to be a derisive remark, Frank responded to an overexcited Ghanaian tweep saying: "Don't worry. When you get eliminated in the first round of the World Cup, una go kuKUMASI!"


Nigerians, on the other hand widely celebrated Frank Edoho's tweet that almost shut some Ghanaians up.

Nigeria's failure to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar has been deemed a blessing in disguise by two Nollywood stars, Mary Njoku and Williams Uchemba.

Reacting to Super Eagles' unfavorable 1-1 draw with Ghana, actress Mary on her Instagram page noted that she's grateful Nigeria was disqualified because it would have been a distraction for the youths to focus on the country's insecurity challenge and its alleged bad government.

In her words: "Thank God we didn't qualify for the world cup. It would have been a distraction.

"We need to focus on the real problems in Nigeria. And pressure the Govt to do something. An attack on a train! An attack at the airport The insecurity in Nigeria is alarming! No more unnecessary distractions!!!! This needs everyone's attention!!

Uchemba, who shared the same view on his Instagram page wrote: "Maybe it's good we lost. So we can channel our anger on the pressing issue in the country.

"Almost 1000 Nigerian citizens cannot be accounted for and people are acting like It's a normal thing."

Reality star, Uriel Oputa has opened up on her willingness to undergo surgery to enlarge her breast after having kids.

The Big Brother Naija star who has been having intense workout sessions lately to burn fats and arrive at her desired body shape took to her Instagram story to affirm that she has nothing against body enhancement.

She further stated that people will be marveled by the time she's done with her body.

Popular actress, Uche Ogbodo has cried out following a recent act exhibited by her 2nd daughter.

The mother of two took to her Instagram page to share the moment the infant was being persuaded to pronounced Mama, however, instead of repeating what was said, they baby chose to say Papa instead.

Unhappy Uche Ogbodo expressed disappointment in the baby after carrying her in her womb for 9 months and nursing her for another 9 months.

She wrote:

Veteran Nollywood actor, John Ikechukwu Okafor also know as Mr Ibu, has fully regained his health after a brief illness that caught the attention of Nigerians.

A video shared by his colleague, Charles Awurum, shows the moment the vibrant-looking actor united with his friends on a movie set

Captioning the video, Charles wrote: "Ibu my brother and I in a location in Enugu, God has answered our prayers, Ibu is well again. God will continue to bless him and his family. Keeping him in good health. #thisworldisrigorousmenshit."

His fans, however, opined that the actor's appearance is far from a person who just got discharged from the hospital.

Nigerian raving singer, Habeeb Okikiola also known as Portable, believes he is under a spiritual attack following the recent unfortunate happenings around him.

The singer emphasized this belief after he crashed his Range Rover into a building.

Sharing a video of the incident, the singer said he was perplexed on how that could happen to a high-level vehicle with brakes.


Reactions, however, posit that the singer must have been drunk with Obi Cubana's 'Odogwu Bitters' he recently got endorsed to promote.

Popular Ghanaian movie star, John Dumelo who has been on the necks of Nigerians ever since the commencement of the World Cup qualifiers, sends another note of mockery following the defeat of Nigeria's Super Eagles.

Recall that prior to the the kick-off of the first leg of the game, John had pledged to walk barefooted from Accra to Lagos if the Ghanaian team lose to the Nigerian side.

The first leg however ended in a 0-0 draw in Ghana's home and yesterday, 29th March the second leg which saw Nigeria's defeat was played.

Students arrested over their landlord’s missing plantain

Five students of university of Uyo have been apprehended after their land lord's plantain went missing.

According to reports, the students were apprehended in the early hours of Tuesday, March 29 on the request of their land lord.

Although, in a recent development, Savior Udoh, a businessman revealed that he has secured bail of the students.

The businessman said:

"I've succeeded in securing BAIL as thier SURETY for the five (5) students of the University of Uyo who were arrested earlier this morning by thier landlord. I want to specially thank the Dean students affairs, University of Uyo for his swift response, the SUG president & vice for thier support, presence and solicitations too."

Veteran Nollywood actress Toyin Adegbola popularly known as Toyin Tomato or Toyin Asewo To Re Mecca has finally opened up on the allegations that her daughter stole at the Shoprite mall at Ring Road Ibadan.

In a video that was recorded live on Toyin's Instagram page, she could be seen lamenting and calling out the management and the staff of Shoprite, Ibadan branch for molesting her daughter after she was accused of shoplifting.

Issuing a public statement, earlier this morning, Tuesday, March 29, she wrote:

"APPRECIATION FOR YOUR SUPPORTS DURING SHOPRITE DEFAMATORY / PUBLIC ASSAULT INCIDENT

As a mother, I was embarrassed and traumatized by the public assault and false accusations. But your support and words of encouragement have helped me to maintain my stability and at the same time encouraged me to forge ahead in my quest for justice for my innocent daughter.

Man tells residents to call police on his wife after their housemaid was locked outside at night

Some good Samaritans have raised alarm for help after a housekeep was found crying outside in the middle of the night.

When she was asked, the young girl who was already in tears, said she was locked outside in the cold by her guardian.

Locals who saw the girl named Blessing crying at about 12:18am banged on the gate of the compound where she lives in Asaba, Delta state.

The husband, identified as Gabriel, came out and said he had no idea their maid was outside.

He explained that when he asked his wife about their help, she said she has no idea where she was, so he assumed she was sleeping inside.

Crying, the maid revealed that even when her madam came out to change over, she saw her outside but went back inside and locked her outside.

The husband added that his wife sent out Blessing to sell drinks for her then locked her out when she came back.

"She hasn't given her food since morning o," he added.

"Nancy Nwaka," is her name, the husband told the locals and asked them to do whatever they want about his wife's action.

As the husband returned to his compound, the locals promised to return with welfare officials in the morning.

Lil Frosh & Girlfriend Reconcile As She Withdraws Case From Court

It seems bygones are bygones and all is forgiven between Lil Frosh and his ex-girlfriend.

The criminal case against Nigerian singer, Wasiu Goriola popularly known as Lil Frosh, by his ex-girlfriend, Okeoghene Gift Iyomateire, has been withdrawn from the court.

Recall that in February 2021, Gift went public with the domestic violence allegation and also shared photos and videos of the injuries she sustained after she was attacked by the singer.

Days after he was dropped by the DMW record label owned by Davido, Gift filed charges against Lil Frosh. The case has since been in court since then.

On Monday, March 28, both Lil Frosh and his ex-girlfriend took to their Instagram pages to announce that they have reconciled and proceeded to withdraw the case from court.

Lil Frosh shared a public statement from his lawyer which said:

Gift also confirmed that the case had been settled out of court.

IG gossip blog, Cutie__juls alleges that the media personality, Toke Makinwa has found love in the arms of a man identified as Hope based in Ghana.

According to the blogger, Toke and Hope are in a serious relationship and would tie the knot soonest.

Uncovering details of their relationship in a lengthy post, the blogger wrote:

"So I know you all know that Hope's [Guy in the picture] marriage with Jenifer went down few months after cuz of CY.

Then Hope met Maame [lady's pic under Toke's] in Ghana and thought she was better than CY.

Female doctor killed in terror attack in Abuja-Kaduna train

A female medical doctor has allegedly been killed in the horrific incident on the Abuja-Kaduna train.

Last night, the doctor, Identified only as Chinelo, took to Twitter to plead for prayers after suffering a bullet wound during the incident.

She wrote:

"I'm in the train . I have been shot please pray for me."


A friend of hers revealed through twitter that she had passed away.

The friend wrote:

"Just woke up to a sad news My friend just woke up to losing a close friend who was shot at the Abuja Kaduna train incident by terrorists She tweeted yesterday that we should pray for her. Sadly she didn't make it. She was a Doctor Nigeria why..I'm heartbroken


I was just here yesterday tweeting and asking if there were medical personnels on the train who could offer emergency services And some people were here saying why will I think of such a thing..really?..for basic first aid to be provided for injured May Nigeria not happen to us.

Mr. Ibu is set to be discharged from hospital

Popular Nollywood actor, John Ikechukwu Okafor better known as Mr. Ibu is set to be discharged from hospital after a brief illness.

It can be recalled that the actor who was left indisposed after a sudden illness which resulted to him being bedridden for some day.

The veteran actor had later revealed that he had been poisoned for the third time by someone or some individuals at an event which he had attended in Abuja.

The actor, while on his sick bed had also cleared the air on reports flying around which claimed he was soliciting for funds; he stated that he wasn't asking anybody for money to pay hospital bills.

In a recent video, the thespian who is loved by many was seen getting his haircut as he's set to be discharged from hospital.
