Kaffy’s Ex-Husband, Ameh Finally Opens Up On Marital Ordeal

Joseph Ameh, ex-husband of popular dancer, Kafayat 'Kaffy' Shafau, has spoken on what transpired when they were married

Kaffy had said one of the reasons for annulment of their marriage was Ameh's promiscuity, adding that he had affair even with her best friend. 

She noted that his philandering disposition betray his gentle and reticent outlook.

But in a statement on Sunday, the father-of-two debunked claims from his wife that he slept with her best friend.

He also denied being violent towards her.

He added that he made a "lot of silly mistake" in the marriage and have decided to move on.

The statement addressed to his wife read, "I will make this as brief as possible. I made a lot of silly mistakes in my life and in my marriage.

"I take full responsibility of all my foolishness with absolutely no excuses.

"However, I never slept wit your best friend or close pals- neither have I ever been violent towards you,contrary to the narratives flying around about me.

"Anyway, It has been a year since the marriage officially ended. I've tried to move on and I do advise you do the same too.

"I wish all the very best to both of us as we move on maturely. The end of our marriage should not be the end of our lives.

"This is the first and last time I will speak on this subject."

Kaffy had caused a stir on the Internet when she opened up about her divorce in January 2022.

The dancer, who noted that she was celibate for three years before her divorce.

Reactions as Zicsaloma opens up–“This means it’s true”

Netizens have continued to react with diverse opinions after popular skit maker, Isaac Aloma a.k.a Zicsaloma, refused to clear the air about the accusation that he demanded for sex from male 'actors' he uses in his skits before working with them.

The skit maker, who spoke in an interview with The PUNCH's Sunday Scoop, outrightly stated that he won't clear the air about the accusation.

"This will mean the accusations are true, you shouldn't say you won't clear the air about the despicable accusation," one of his fans @Jacon Barry wrote on Facebook.

Though Zicsaloma hinted that the accusation against him is fabricated, one controversial moment during his interview is when he said people can believe what they want.

In his words: "I really don't want to talk about these things. I have been told that if people don't talk about one, it means one is really not doing well. I don't blame any blog for writing whatever they want; I blame people who give them audience, because they are just looking for ways to drive traffic to their blogs. I am not clearing any air. People can believe whatever they want to believe

"The best thing is for you to watch my skits. Anybody that looks like an up-and-coming comedian should be asked what they did for me to feature them. Everyone that becomes successful, most pass through a channel. I became successful because I put in hard work. I shot content for years without being recognized until it got to a point when I was recognized by people and my content started going viral.

"I work with anybody who I feel can deliver. I shoot most of my contents with celebrities. That does not negate the fact that I can work with someone who has just 20 followers. I don't compromise my content for anything. Some people offer me money to feature in my skits but I tell them 'no' because I don't like their acting."

Nevertheless, the skit maker went on stating that he will not press charges against the blogger who made the allegation against him because the person is 'anonymous'.

Popular dancer, Korra Obidi, subtly makes remarks about returning to her ex amidst the marriage crisis going on with her ex-husband, Justin Dean.

This comes weeks following the back and forth social media tantrums between the mother of two and her estranged ex-husband.

In a video shared by the dancer on her Instagram story, Korra Obidi subtly insinuated that she has returned to her ex; however, unclear if she meant her ex-husband or an ex-boyfriend.

"I already did," she wrote in the caption to the song that states 'I may be able to go back to my ex-boyfriend.'

Controversial thespian, Tonto Dikeh has reacted after a concerned fan left a comment about remarriage while hinting at where she might be getting it all wrong.

The fan had asked the mother of one if she doesn't want to remarry while stating that her frequent dramas on social media will only scare responsible men away from her.

Reacting, Tonto Dikeh averred that she is not in search for a man any longer. According to her, the goal is to get richer each day and pay men for their services when needed.

The IG user identified by her handle as @Grace_Onome_Ogene wrote.

"Don't you want to marry? All this your drama here and there will not attract a responsible man."

In response, Tonto stated:

Afrobeat star, David Adeleke, better known as Davido expresses displeasure after he was denied full payment by a show promoter before performing in Italy.

The highly-rated crooner took to his Instagram handle to lament at length while recounting the hurdles and stress he encountered before making it down to Italy yet on getting there, the show promoter said he doesn't have his balance.

Davido who was infuriated by this disclosed that 7K tickets were sold yet the promoter claims he doesn't have the money.

Ex-husband of the popular dancer, Kaffy, breaks silence following allegations levelled against him by his ex-wife.

This comes following an interview granted by the dancer to Chude Jideonwo, where she recounted issues in her defunct marriage.

Contrary to the claims made by Kaffy's ex-husband, Papii Ameh, refutes the claim as he takes blame for most of the wrongs in their marriage.

Taking to Instagram, Papii Ameh, affirmed that he never had an affair with Kaffy's claim as she stated on the interview.

Kaffy speaks amid reactions trailing crashed marriage – “I chose to stop reacting to life and start living it”

Popular dancer, Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, also known as Kaffy has recently shared a new post amid discussions trailing her crashed marriage.

Recall that the choreographer during an interview with Chude Jideonwo opened up about her childhood trauma and her crashed marriage to Papii J Ameh, which she said was due to infidelity on his part.

The dancer went on to reveal that she stopped sleeping with her ex-hubby three years before they officially had a divorce as that was what brought her healing.

However, in a recent post, she took to her Instagram page to share a snippet of her conversation with Chude while writing about life.

Plastic surgery is so popular in South Korea that 70% of High School students undergo eye surgery or receive it as graduation presents from family members.

South Korean doctors are excellent at their jobs and there are few cases of botched surgeries.

It can be argued that the incursion of the US into their lives and country made them prefer western ideas of beauty to the Asians.

Internet users are people between 20 and 29 years who reportedly spend an average of about 24.2 hours per week online.

Kim Taehee is the Kim Kardashian of South Korea and the standard for most cosmetic surgeries.

A survey of 290 young South Korean men and women cited Kim TaeHee, a famous Korean actress, as the most attractive female celebrity, and many Koreans want to look like her.

For South Koreans, appearance is character
Attractiveness is a key to success in South Korea. You can be denied a job in South Korea if you do not look attractive. People get plastic surgery so they can land their dream jobs.

This is because the South Koreans believe in physiognomy which means a person's facial features are linked to their fortune or character.

A popular story that shows the belief in physiognomy is in the 20th century President, Chun Doo Hwan's mother smashed her teeth with a rock after a wandering monk told her she would have a successful son if only her teeth were less protruding.

Many parts of the world are attempting to reject the stereotypical pattern of beauty with phrases like fatphobia, skinny phobia and advocating for diversity in beauty.

However, for South Koreans, beauty can be altered, made better and uniform.

Nigerian dancer, Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, popularly known as Kaffy, has opened up about the circumstances that surrounded her failed marriage among others.

Also recounting her childhood traumas, the dancer who spoke during an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, revealed that her parent's marriage was fraught with domestic violence and that it had a negative impact on her.

The mother-of-two added that her parents fought each other with whatever objects they could find in the house and that it got to a point she began to hide knives and other dangerous objects from them.

Speaking on her failed marriage, Kaffy commented regretfully saying that if she had known, she would not have jumped into marriage.

She noted that she stopped sleeping with her ex husband, Joseph Ameh, three years before their marriage officially ended.

According to her, the mistakes she made going into marriage was expecting her husband to make her happy.

"It's selfish to put your happiness on another person," Kaffy posited.

She added that going celibate was how she started healing from her husband's betrayal and infidelity.

Embattled actor, Olarenwaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha, who currently has court cases over alleged sexual assault, seems to have gotten back to his foot, as he has constantly been making posts on social media.

Baba Ijesha who is undergoing trial over his alleged defilement of a minor is reportedly paid to give birthday shout-outs to people celebrating birthdays and other events

Baba Ijesha is facing trial over his alleged defilement of  comedian, Princess' ward.

When the incident initially happened, Baba Ijesha usually looked downcast and forlorn, especially when appearing in court. However, the actor seems to have put the matter behind him and is back to his acting career. In the videos, the actor can be seen looking chubby and excited, which is a far cry from how morose he usually looked at the height of the crisis.

As of the time of filing this report, he had over 900, 000 followers on his Facebook page.

In one of the video posts, he hailed popular lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN) on his birthday, describing him as someone who fights for victims of injustice. In the comment section, his followers were pleased with him as they showered him with commendation. Toyin Jaji wrote, "Good job"; CJ Chijoke wrote, "Even though I don't understand Yoruba (language), I like this"; Adebisi Bolatito wrote, "It is a job well done. Baba Ijesha keep on thriving."

In another video post, he greeted actor, Yomi Fabiyi, who was one his staunchest supports when the incident initially happened, especially when he was yet to be admitted to bail.

Meanwhile, our correspondent called a number displayed on the Facebook page and posed as someone who wanted to pay for a birthday shout out. The person who answered the call claimed to be Ijesha's managers. He stated that a shout out costs between N30,000 and N50,000 naira per shout out. He said, "We have two types of birthday packages— N30,000 and N50,000.

"The one of N30,000 naira will not be posted on Baba Ijesha's page, while that of N50,000 will appear on his page."

However, when our correspondent expressed concern that the child molestation scandal could have a negative impact on the person being wished a 'happy birthday', the manager, who identified himself as Daniel, said, "As I speak, we are at a location. Every week, we produce contents all around Nigeria. The scandal was just a publicity stunt by the lady (in question). It does not have any negative effect on Baba Ijesha.

Reality Star, Nini — There’s No Big Deal If Married People Contest In Big Brother Naija

While Big Brother Naija 2022's auditioning is ongoing, former housemate Nini Singh has said there is no big deal in having married people take part in the reality television game show.

Nini stated that married people are humans too, and they should be allowed to contest in the game just like unmarried individuals. "I think there is no big deal in it. Married people are people too," she said.

The reality star also advised those in toxic relationship to leave because nothing good will come out of being in an abusive relationship. Sharing her opinion, Nini told the Punch, "A lot of people, irrespective of gender and age, are in toxic relationships and find it difficult leaving."

"I think they stay in such situations due to the thought of starting afresh and meeting someone new. However, my advice to them is that, there is always (a) better (option) than toxicity. Life has got amazing things waiting for you at the other side. You just have to leave. Nothing good has ever come out of toxic relationships."

BBNaija 2022 audition opened on Sunday, 15 May, and will close Monday, 30 May 2022.

Popular fashionista and celebrity designer, Toyin Lawani has dragged actress, Caroline Hutchings for sleeping with her ex husband.

In a long Twitter battle, the duo have traded words extensively as Toyin Lawani keeps insisting that the actress had slept with her husband, Aremo.

The celebrity designer who had a child with her ex husband, Aremo revealed that Caroline wrecked her marriage which resulted to her and her daughter being kicked out of their home.

Lawani described the actress as chronic liar who would look one in the eyes and still lie, spilling that she had introduced her to a friend who she still slept with again and almost ruined his marriage if the man hadn't run back to the UK.

Portable exclaims as he escapes death in brutal car crash –“Oluwa cover me, they want to kill a superstar!”

Singer, Portable has heaped praises on God for saving his life when his vehicle got involved in an auto crash earlier today.

Blaming the situation on his enemies and those he claimed want to kill him, the Zazoo crooner reacted in two separate videos saying: "Oluwa cover me, my enemies want to kill me. They want to kill a superstar."


The singer shared the videos on his Instagram channel.

One of the videos showed his wrecked vehicle which he said got hit exactly where he was sitting.
