Ehi Ogbebor Displays Dollar Notes Made From Her Wedding

 Ehi Ogbebor got wedded to Kenneth Bramor recently in Benin. Days after the wedding, she took to social media to show off the money she got from the wedding. In as much as there are a couple of 500 Naira notes,the stack was dominated by 100 Dollar notes.

Fake And Real Bride of Banky W

During a typical Edo traditional wedding ceremony, 'fake brides' are bought out by the older women of the bride's family and the groom is asked to identify who his wife-to-be is. If he successfully does, she is presented to her in-laws and handed over to her husband.

The bride's wedding planner, Bisola trendybee has now confirmed that this indeed took place contrary to speculations on social media that Adesua didn't follow Edo customs. 

In a post on Instagram, she wrote;

'The Bride and the fake bride. #BAAD2017 was fun. The Groom's family had to confirm they knew who their bride was and after it was confirmed the fake bride was fake, it was time for the real bride to dance in and she wanted to be brought in with her amazing friends. They slayed.'

Emmerson Mnangagwa To Be Sworn In As Zimbabwe President On Friday

Zimbabwe is entering a new era of democracy, incoming leader Emmerson Mnangagwa has said in his first public remarks since his return to the country.

The 75-year-old, whose sacking as vice president earlier in November triggered a military takeover, flew back to Zimbabwe on Wednesday, a day after longtime President Robert Mugabe stepped down.

Mnangagwa fled to South Africa after his dismissal, citing threats to his life.

He will be sworn in as president on Friday.

"Today, we are witnessing the beginning of a new and unfolding democracy," Mnangagwa told thousands of jubilant supporters at the headquarters of the ruling ZANU-PF party in the capital, Harare.

"We want to grow our economy, we want jobs," he added.

"All patriotic Zimbabweans (should) come together, work together."

Al Jazeera's Fahmida Miller, reporting from the gathering at the ZANU-PF headquarters, said Mnangagwa's speech was "very much about Zimbabwean people".

"He used this opportunity to talk to his supporters and the people who are happy with the overthrowing of Mugabe and emphasise the role they played in these developments".

"He also talked about jobs and peace, very much what people want to hear."

Praise For The Army

Mugabe's resignation on Tuesday capped a historic week.

In a surprise move, Zimbabwe's military seized power on November 15, intervening in party politics over Mugabe's succession.

The army said it wanted to "target criminals" around the 93-year-old who were leading the ruling ZANU-PF party and state astray.

Both the army and the influential war veterans' association were afraid Mugabe might hand power to his wife, Grace, seen as Mnangagwa's main opponent in ZANU-PF's succession battle.

In a rare sign of solidarity between the people and the army, which has often been a pillar of support for Mugabe's rule, tens of thousands of Zimbabweans took to the streets on Saturday to express support for the military's operation.

During his speech, Mnangagwa said he had been in constant communication with the army chiefs throughout the period between his firing by Mugabe on November 6 and his return to Zimbabwe.

Praising General Constantino Chiwenga, he said the armed forces "have been able to manage this process very peacefully."

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu virtually set the internet on fire when he stepped out in his carefully made Agbada, crafted by his fashion designer Ugo Monye, for BankyW's lavish traditional wedding ceremony on Sunday 19th, November, 2017. It was gathered that the outfit costs 280,000 Naira to purchase; which had spun some Nigerian men to start making attempts to create cheaper versions of the outfit.

''This Is Not Agbada'' - Femi Branch To Ebuka & His Tailor, Ugo Monye

Nollywood actor, Femi Branch took to his Instagram to call out Ebuka and his tailor/fashion designer Ugo Monye that the cloth wore by Ebuka is not Agbada.

 The actor wrote this after sharing the photo:

 THIS IS NOT AN AGBADA!
Abeg o make una no vex o, as much as I am in love with this epic design that is obviously trending right now, as a Yoruba man, one of the few tribes to whom the Agbada traditionaly belongs, I want to ask.... Is this really an Agbada?! A Buba is different from a Dansiki which is also different from a dandogo or an olentelafa (long sleeved tunic that reaches the ankles) but they are all tops. From what I know, an Agbada is never open in front. It can be any design, length or pattern but it's never cut all the way open in front! This is more of a Kimono not an Agbada. Of a truth, the Agbada has metamorphosed grandly over the years but always kept it's basic design which has come to become it's sole identity. WHAT WE SEE HERE IS NOT AN AGBADA! So plz @ugomonye.official what do we call this epic masterpiece of yours cos now we are all confused o!

Odion Ighalo Super Eagles Player, has announced that he'll be launching an orphanage home come December 16, 2017.

The Changchun Yatai forward broke this news on social media where he shared pictures of the completed building for the orphanage home.



The orphanage, called the Ighalo Orphanage Home, is located at Ijegun, Ikotun, Lagos.

Present at the press conference were Ex-Super Eagles stars, Austin Eguavon, Peter Rufai and Samson Siasia.

Wes Goodman: Anti-LGBT Republican politician 'caught having sex with man in his office' facing 30 sexual misconduct accusations

An anti-LGBT Republican politician who was allegedly caught having sex with a man in his office is facing more than 30 accusations of sexual misconduct.

Wes Goodman, a state legislator for Ohio, has already been forced to resign after a witness to the reported extramarital affair told the Ohio House Chief of Staff.

But now Mr Goodman is facing a host of complaints after alleged victims shared screengrabs of conversations with right-leaning news website the Independent Journal Review.

Mr Goodman, who routinely promotes "family values", is married to a woman who is an assistant director of an annual abortion rally known as March for Life.

According to the IJR, Mr Goodman would regularly contact men, usually aged between 18 and 24 and in the Republican movement, on Facebook Messenger.

The conversations frequently turned sexually explicit, with Mr Goodman sending suggestive messages and photos of his Instruments on Snapchat, reports the website.

One alleged victim, who wished to remain anonymous, told the IJR he received a friend request from Mr Goodman, who started discussing "various political things" before a two weeks later asking for the man's Snapchat details.

"He constantly sent me Snaps and was always commenting on my stories," the victim said. "He also asked how much 'p***y' I was getting and wondering what I was doing on Friday and Saturday nights."

He added: "Then, he sent me videos of him masturbating as well as d**k pics. He also sent another Snapchat asking how big my joystick was."

Dozens of men shared similar experiences of their online encounters with Mr Goodman, according to the IRJ.

The politician was also accused of groping an 18-year-old student in 2015 after a fundraiser, according to the Washington Post.

Mr Goodman, whose Twitter biography describes him as "Christian. American. Conservative. Republican. Husband to @Beth1027", has regularly claimed "natural marriage" occurs between a man and a woman.

"Healthy, vibrant, thriving, values-driven families are the source of Ohio's proud history and the key to Ohio's future greatness," his campaign website said.

"The ideals of a loving father and mother, a committed natural marriage, and a caring community are well worth pursuing and protecting."

The website has now been taken offline.

Mr Goodman, who has been described as a "conscience of the conservative movement", announced in a statement on Thursday that he was stepping down.

"We all bring our own struggles and our own trials into public life," he said.

"That has been true for me, and I sincerely regret that my actions and choices have kept me from serving my constituents and our state in a way that reflects the best ideals of public service.

"For those whom I have let own, I'm sorry. As I move onto the next chapter of my life, I sincerely ask for privacy for myself, my family, and my friends."

Rape Victim Set To Graduate From North Caroline State University

A lady who was raped and abused simply identified as Stephanie, a student of North Caroline State University, shared her triumph story as she's set to graduate in some days' time. According to her, she was raped in her sophomore year.

She revealed the following in a writing in her website:
'
"During the fall semester of my sophomore year I went out to a party with my best friends. The night, which was filled with drinks, laughs and good times, slowly but surely led to events that would alter the course of my life.

When I returned from the party, I invited a friend over to stay the night. This friend and I had been out a few times, my parents trusted him and it wasn't the first time he had spent the night. .

I was exhausted and intoxicated but as he ran me a shower I remember vividly telling him that I had no intentions of having sex with him. Later that night I woke up with him on top of me, raping me without protection. .

I cried, I asked him to stop and he told me to shh and let him finish. I cried but I laid there paralyzed. The next few days were a blur. I remember being a functional zombie for weeks. .

For weeks, I withdrew from my friends and family members. I skipped class and missed work. I barely passed any of my classes and I seriously considered dropping out. .

My energy was zapped as I saw my rapist everywhere. By mid second semester, he announced he was running for a very public position on campus. I watched as most of the black community, people I called friends, campaigned for my rapist. .

On the night I planned to kill myself, my best friend saved my life. My other friend walked me to the counseling center the next day and thus began my journey to healing.

I still struggle with depression and I still struggle with PTSD. I still struggle with nightmares. I still go to counseling but I'm so much better. .

I've dedicated my existence to loving, laughing and helping others. I never imagined that I'd be graduating from one of the top institutions in the country or that I'd be addressing my graduating class as the commencement speaker."

Frank Edoho Anchors 'The Price Is Right', A TV Game Show

'Kindly allow me announce,that after a disagreement in negotiations with @Ultimalimited I have decided to decline hosting WWTBAM any further' he tweeted.

Now, It can be confirm that Frank has landed a new hosting job. The celebrated broadcaster will be anchor of another TV game show called 'The Price Is right' and this time he'll work with OAP, Mannie of Cool FM as the announcer.

The new show, 'The Price Is Right' is a popular game show with its origin in America and its widely known and referred to as the oldest and most popular TV Game show in the world currently in over 50 countries.

Jilted Wife Storms Ex-husband’s Wedding With Their Kids In Kenya

There was chaos at the St Benedict's Catholic Church in Thika Superhighway, Kenya, when an jilted woman attempted to stop her estranged husband's wedding over the weekend.

According to reports, the woman who arrived with her children claimed that she is still married to the groom and attempted to enter the venue of the ceremony where her husband was exchanging nuptials with his new bride.

The jilted wife identified as Catherine Mwaura, also claimed she has three children with the groom and that the new bride was stealing her husband from her.



Luckily for the groom, who was fully prepared for the drama, he hired more than 20 police officers to ensure his special day went uninterrupted by his ex-wife, who was filmed fighting another lady at the venue.
