The annual competition for youths in Eziama-Obiato in Imo State tagged The DNC Unity Cup is a yearly event. This year's edition was held in honour of Super Falcons goal machine, Desire Oparanozie and Nollywood star Osita Iheme (Pawpaw) was a special guest at the final of the tournament which was held on December 30th, 2017.

Olajumoke Orisaguna, the bread seller turned celebrity and model by Divine intervention, yesterday shared  photo of herself as she celebrated the new year. She shared a post via her social media page, where she disclosed that she has decided to give back to the society by going back to where she started from.
The model shared photos of herself sharing food and other items to the poor in the slums of lagos and wrote;

Wike Places N200 Million Price Tag On Perpetrators Of New Year Day Killing In Omorku

Following the 1st of January, 2018 attack by unknown gunmen on Omorku town in Rivers State, the State Governor Nyesom Wike, has placed a N200 million price tag reward for anybody with useful information that may lead to the arrest of the perpetrators.

The Governor made this disclosure on his visit  to the families of the deceased. Wike, led a team of Rivers state security council on a fact finding mission to Omuko condemned in strong words the act by hoodlums in the area.


In Wike words:

"We have placed a N200 million bounty for relevant information that will lead to the arrest of all those involved in this unfortunate act of violence. Governor Wike places N200 million bounty on perpetrators of Omoku violence Governor Wike said this while visiting families of the deceased and victims of the attack. "Anybody who is connected to this crime in any way will have his/her houses forfeited to the Government. This place has been peaceful before this unfortunate mayhem. 

"We will not allow another case of this violence. We have mobilised the security agencies to take the battle to the perpetrators. Governor Wike said all those linked to the Omoku violence will face the full weight of the law.

TEN YEAR OLD ORPHAN WINS 'LAGOS GROWS TALENTS' CONTEST AT ONE LAGOS FIESTA
From his Lagos Grows Talents audition at Epe, it was obvious that Opizzy had something special about him. For a ten-year-old, his confidence was striking, as was his choice of craft- rapping.

But all through the audition processes and the regional competitions, he scaled through one after the other, till he was in the top five finalists to compete for the grand prize.

In the end, the ten-year-old boy whose lines contain the fact that his parents are dead won the coveted prize of N1.5 million. He could not hide his delight when his name was announced and was beaming smiles all through as Governor Ambode handed him the cheque.

2. A formal public apology to be directed to our client

3. Flagging down of all the false stories written about Yewande Adekoya Abiodun on your blog, instagram page and all other news media pages and outfits where the stories were replicated both online and offline as a result of Kemi's blunder


In conclusion, having clearly stated the true position of events, we hope you thread on the path of honour by meeting up to the demands of our client as stated above, however should you fail to honour same, we would be left with no option than to seek for proper redress in Court of law where not just the said demands will be awarded but also damages in monetary terms.

Uchechi Iweala And Chioma Achebe's Traditional Wedding Photos

Nigeria Former Minister of Finance Dr (Mrs) Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala's son tied the knot recently in a traditional marriage in Abia State. In attendance were  Dr. Alhaji Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa and others.

The traditional wedding ceremony between Uchechi, the medical doctor son of former finance minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and Chioma Achebe, the granddaughter of the late literary icon Prof. Chinua Achebe, recently held in Umuahia, Abia State.

Uchechi Iweala is a Harvard-trained scholar having graduated from the Harvard Medical School in 2014. He works in Washington, DC and specializes in Orthopaedic Surgery.

Chioma Achebe is also a graduate of Harvard Law and Business school and works as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BSG), Washington D.C.

According to her; first she lost her dearest mom, and just when she thought she had a man like every other lady, and wanted to spend the festive season with him.. she discovered that she was his spare girlfriend, and his main girlfriend was already booked to spend the season with him. She disclosed that her supposed boyfriend refused to let her into his house on Christmas Day. She said it was heart broken.........
