Supreme Court Affirms Conviction Of Ex-Kogi Lawmaker.


Today the Supreme Court of Nigeria has dismissed the appeal by the former member of the Kogi State House of Assembly 

Gabriel Daudu, over his conviction on 77 counts charge for money laundering.


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) revealed today, Friday in a statement signed by its acting head of media and publicity, Mr Samin Amaddin, that the case of money laundering the Commission brought against and subsequent conviction of Daudu, a former caretaker chairman of Ogori/Magongo Local Government Area of Kogi State, who was first arraigned in April 2010, has been affirmed by the Supreme Court of Nigeria, today.

Chief JA Akobi, The CEO Akobi Enterprises, was shot this morning by an unknown gun men. His friend made this disclosure via an online share  and added that Akobi was in the process of his visa to China before his painful exit.

Chief JA Akobi is the CEO Akobi Enterprises. According to an information shared this morning by his friend, who died this morning after he was shot. According to report,he was about finishing processing his visa to China before his painful exit. He is one of the richest dudes in Igede Nation.His friend who shared the news said his child's dedication is February.His friend who shared the news did not state who gunned him down.

Eku Edewor, Nigerian Media personality,  has pinched tent with actress, Dorcas Shola Fapson, over her alleged kidnap/rape controversy involving a Taxify driver.




Eku Edewor, Nigerian Media personality,  has pinched tent with actress, Dorcas Shola Fapson, over her alleged kidnap/rape controversy involving a Taxify driver.

Most online users does not believe Dorcas as she has been receiving back-lashing on social media, as lots of people think she is being economical with the truth, but wants to use her celebrity strength to oppress the Taxify driver.

Eku took to her Instagram page to react to the issue and lend support to Dorcas:

 I attest to @ms_dsf character. She would not willingly destroy another persons character for petty reasons. I think it's wrong that anyone discredit her because she is not acting, sounding or accounting a matter in a way they think it should be. Is there a blueprint for how the 
 of assault should go? or should she be broken and ruined first beyond repair before you can listen. I believe you Dorcas, stay strong and God keep you.

Youths Occupy Premises Of Lady Who Kidnapped A 5-Year-Old Girl In Imo & Sold Her

A woman by name Chiamaka Ukeji who recently accused of kidnapping a little of 5 years has confessed to the crime at Ogbo - Ekere, Luwe - Nneiri in Osuachara ward Isiala Mbano LGA, of Imo state.
She confessed that she has sold the girl in PortHarcourt, Rivers State to an unknown woman. 

Angered by this development, youths of the town moved to her house and occupied the premises with palm branches and attempted to destroy her house but were stopped by one Hon. Julius who pleaded to the youths not to take laws into their hands.

According to an eyewitness, the incident happened on Monday evening, 22/01/2017 at  Ekere, Luwe - Nneiri in Osuachara ward, Isiala Mbano Imo state.
The eyewitness revealed that he saw when the little girl entered into the house of the accused woman to take something and maybe she was was drugged and later smuggled away by the woman.

Sources disclosed that the father of the kidnapper (name withheld) who seems to be the prime suspect was apprehended to produce the girl and he directed them to his daughter, Chiamaka. Police operatives stormed the house of the woman, where she confessed that she has  sold the 5yr old girl to a woman in PortHarcourt through a contact she got from someone. She also confessed to the police that she has sold more than 4 little children from the community to people in Rivers State which included her own child that she gave birth to through an unwanted pregnancy.

The father of the victim by name Mr. Ikechukwu Ebeofor who had been crying and said the 5yr old girl is his last hope. He also prayed to see his daughter alive.
Investigation into the matter is in top gear at the time of putting up this story.

Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold recently reacted via his twitter handle to the viral story of MTV Shuga star, Dorcas Shola Fapson and a Taxify driver who she alleged almost abducted and raped her.
