| Navy Hands Over 8 Suspected Oil Thieves & 4 Vessels To EFCC Posted: 21 Feb 2018 05:28 PM PST Navy Arrested and Hands Over 8 Suspected Oil Thieves & 4 Vessels To EFCC The Nigerian Navy has apprehended and handed over 8 suspected oil bunkerers to the Economic and Financial Crime's Commission for prosecution. This was disclosed on Wednesday via their official Twitter handle. See the Twitter post below: "A joint investigation by the EFCC & @NigerianNavy has resulted in arrest of 8 suspected oil thieves and a vessel, MV MAC CLINT, for their involvement in oil "bunkering". Though the EME brand name remains, the company will transition to a full fledged media agency' focusing on Creative Marketing, Advertising, PR, Brand Events/Activations and talent management, Banky W added. The clients presently in their portfolio include DJ Xclusive, Ebuka, Toolz, Banky himself and his wife Adesua and few corporate brands.The singer disclosed this via his Instagram post today: Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) was started by @captdemuren & I, way back in 2001/2002 - in my dorm room at my University in NY. The reason we used the word "Empire" was because Tunde and I were crazy enough to dream that we could build a company that would eventually become an Empire.. one that would serve as the launching pad for not only my career goals in music, movies and other interests... but one that would also serve as a stepping stone for other talents to become more successful and achieve their goals as well. The man who approached a Lusaka Boma Local Court in Zambia seeking divorce, has been granted it barely one year into their marriage. | Dana Air Management Explains Why Their Plane Overshot Runway In Port Harcourt Posted: 21 Feb 2018 08:50 AM PST Dana Air Management Explains Why Their Plane Overshot Runway In Port Harcourt Dana Air has issued an official state regard the Dana Air Aircraft that overshot the runway of the PortHarcourt International Airport yesterday.The Management of the Airline said their plane overshot the runway in Portharcourt as a result of a bad weather situation and rainfall at the time of landing.See details of the official statement below: On Tuesday , 20 February 2018, one our aircraft (9j0363) operating the Abuja - Ph flight skidded off the runway at the Port Harcourt International Airport, as a result of the bad weather situation and torrential rain at the time of landing. No casualty was recorded and all passengers and crew disembarked safely. We commend the Pilot-in -command who was able to control the aircraft to a complete stop, before passengers and crew disembarked. We also wish to applaud the Captain for exhibiting the highest safety standards and handling the situation professionally. A Dana Air aircraft on Tuesday, February 20th overshot the runway of the Port Harcourt Airport, Rivers State, after it touched down. What this really means is the aircraft unintentionally moved past a specified point This, sometimes happens to a plane as a result of too much speed or that the plane is unable to stop. The Dana Air plane, with number 9J0363, had picked passengers from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja and had just landed at the Port Harcourt airport. Henrietta Yakubu, the General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, , confirmed the incident saying: "A Dana aircraft numbered 9J0363, flying from Abuja to Port Harcourt airport has overshot the Port Harcourt runway. "The incident was suspected to have been caused by a heavy rain, which was accompanied by strong wind and storm in Port Harcourt. "No casualty was recorded, as all passengers on board were safely evacuated."  |

| Suleiman Hunkuyi Reacts To His Demolished Building In Kaduna By El-Rufai Posted: 21 Feb 2018 04:03 AM PST Suleiman Hunkuyi Reacts To His Demolished Building In Kaduna By El-Rufai Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi, representing Kaduna North Senatorial District, whose building was demolished on Tuesday, by the Government of Kaduna State, for using the building as the headquarters of the factional All Progressive Congress (APC) said he has forgiven the state governor, Nasir El-rufai for the ugly incident. Senator Hunkuyi however disclosed to El-rufai that he still has another building in the state, daring the governor to demolish it if he so wishes.Addressing newsmen on the matter on Tuesday, 20th of February, 2018, the lawmaker said that the governor's action is the price he has to pay for democracy to thrive.  "I wish to say in very few words, I am not here for the fact that the demolition exercise affected my property, but I'm here to express concern over the utilisation of power under our very hard earned democracy. "First of all, I think you may wish to know and I think Nigerians may wish to know my disposition this morning and now that governor personally led the demolition of my own property, which doubles as the state's APC office in Kaduna State.  "As part of my contributions to my party, I have been able to release to the party houses as the structure of leadership of the party has been brought down. "I wish to say that the action, which was led by his own person this early morning at 4am, as my own brother, I wish to let him know, I have forgiven him as a person for doing what he did. " Let me also use the opportunity to remind Nasir El-Rufai that there is another property in which I housed him, which he slept in so many times in the course of bringing so many people together to elect him as governor on Queen Elizabeth Road in Zaria.
