He said, he started walking from one road to another but the load was still hanging on the head.  Reports have it that he even tried laying down on the ground but the load was still unable to remove. After spending a long time all to no avail, he decided to surrender himself to the police so that he would not be killed by angry people when they eventually notice that he stole the bag. Even at the police station, the stolen bag was still on his head as he hoped the police would help him locate the old woman to forgive him and help him.  This is African power in action. | Lawyer Wife Kills Lawyer Husband, Cut His Private Part, Now In Hospital After Suicide Attempt Posted: 03 May 2018 05:02 PM PDT Lawyer Wife Kills Lawyer Husband, Cut His Private Part, Now In Hospital After Suicide Attempt Police operatives in Lagos are investigating the death of a lawyer, Mr Otike Odibi, 50, who was reportedly murdered by his wife, also a lawyer, Mrs Udeme Odibi, 47, at Diamond Estate, Sangotedo, Lagos. The couple were said to have been married for 3 years without child.According to the information disclosed by the police, the man was found dead on the bed with his stomach ripped open. The killer severed his genital and placed it on his right hand. The suspect was rushed to the hospital by neighbours where she is currently receiving treatment. Some further information received about the couple was that they have been married for three years after the deceased divorced his first wore who bore him a daughter presently schooling in United Kingdom. However, the current marriage is said to be without a child. A neighbour revealed that the deceased called him on phone in the night before he was murdered, complaining that the wife was threatening to kill him with a knife. The neighbour said he warned him to be careful. The deceased was also reported to have called his mother and his younger sister complaining of threat to his life that fateful night. | "Most Northern Youths Are Uneducated Or School Dropouts" - President Buhari Posted: 03 May 2018 04:10 PM PDT "Most Northern Youths Are Uneducated Or School Dropouts" - President Buhari President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday disclosed that most youths in the Northern part of our Nation, Nigeria are either uneducated or school dropouts.In an interview which President Buhari granted the Voice of America he disclosed that he would want to clarify an earlier statement made about Nigerian youths being lazy at a Commonwealth forum in London.See the Presidents statements in parts:"You know Nigeria's population is now between 180 and 190 million and 60 per cent of this population is youth that is 30 years down ward," he said to VOA. "You know in the north most youths are uneducated or school dropouts. If not because we had good harvests in the last two farming seasons, the situation would have deteriorated. "These youths even if they travel out of the north for greener pasture they hardly make it economically, because what they earn as income cannot afford them to meet their basic needs or return home. "All these explanations I made, they refused to highlight them in their report and you know the media in Nigeria in most cases only do what they like," Buhari said. It could be recalled that President Buhari had been under serious attack from Nigerian youths and the media following his comment at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Forum in London, that Nigerian youths wants everything free because we are oil producing Nation! | Suspected Ritualists In Sapele, Delta State, Distribute Human Parts Posted: 03 May 2018 11:21 AM PDT Suspected Ritualists In Sapele, Delta State, Distribute Human Parts Human parts has been discovered in Sapele community of Delta State, on Thursday as residents raise alarm over the worrisome development.According to a report, the human parts were dumped at different parts of Sapele, especially along new Ogoride road and Ogbimi drive in the town; a situation the residents called on the security agents to come to their aid and investigate the situation.Mr. Mohammed Mustafa, the Delta State Police Commissioner, who has confirmed the discovery of the human parts to DAILY POST, said;"We got report from the Sapele Police Division of the human parts discovered in some parts of the town, we have ordered security beef up, and a full scale investigation into the incident, in order to bring those behind the acts to book". Reports also said that the human parts were discovered in a makeshift building wrapped into different cellophane(s), woods and raffia palm. One Omonigho Mabel who is a resident of the town, revealed to DAILY POST and said; "The makeshift had been an abode of some madmen, and unknown residents, in fact ritualists too use the abode; we want the police to investigate the acts, we are afraid of the situation". However, the police spokes person in the State, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, has said that so far one person has been arrested, adding that the suspect was currently being detained at the Sapele Police Division and he is helping the Police in investigation. DSP Aniamaka said; "It was Okada riders who discovered the makeshift building where their remained parts were also discovered, they smell offensive odor emitting and they move into the building, only for them to discover human parts put into cellophane, they alerted the police who then swing into action". Sources said when the Police went to the discovered makeshift building, two mad men jumped out and took to their heels, but the police went after them, and they were apprehended promptly. The Senator was brought in an Ambulance around 7:00am and was driven straight to the police A Division.Yesterday a Wuse Zone 2 Chief Magistrate Court in Abuja granted him bail of N90 million. Mr Melaye was arraigned by the police yesterday on allegations that he escaped from lawful custody. Emile Wickham was celebrating his 28th birthday with three friends when the group decided to grab a bite at Hong Shing Chinese Restaurant on May 3, 2014. The four were the only black patrons in the restaurant, Wickham said, and they were stunned when the waiter demanded they pay before they were served When the group complained, they were told it was policy, according to their testimony. "I still felt skeptical, so then I approached other tables," Wickham told CNN. No one else he spoke with had been asked to prepay, he said. "There was frustration initially. And that frustration turned into a feeling of dejection and sadness," he said. The restaurant's response Nearly a year after the incident, Wickham, who is originally from Nigeria, could not stop thinking about what happened. As the anniversary approached, he filed a complaint with the Human Rights Tribunal. The restaurant said it had seen an influx of dine-and-dash incidents, and that it asked customers who weren't "regulars" to prepay, according to the ruling. But adjudicator Esi Codjoe said she found no evidence such a policy was real. Earlier this month, she ruled the restaurant had racially profiled the students. It says it will appeal In a statement shared with CNN, Hong Shing Chinese Restaurant expressed deep concern over the situation and highlighted that management has since changed. "There are a number of sensitivities and considerations about this situation, and for that reason, the tribunal outcome is under appeal by legal representatives. "At this time we cannot comment further, beyond emphasizing that the current owner and staff are dedicated to be a committed, inclusive and responsible member of the community." Wickham said he will continue to fight his case if needed. "It happens in our daily life, work life, social activity," he said. "The average Canadian never calls themselves racist, but if a significant part of the population have legitimate stories of being discriminated against, this has to be seen beyond the scope of a restaurant claim."
