Davido Nigerian super star singer and the CEO of Davido Music Worldwide along with his beautiful girlfriend Chioma "ASSURANCE" are in Sierra Leone and a massive crowd of fans and enthusiasts welcomed them at the Airport.

The singer was overwhelmed as he takes selfies with the crowd and shared via his Instagram page this post:

"Touch down Sierra Leone !Congrats to All Salone people on the inauguration of your New President. His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio I am also honored to be Representing my Country Nigeria by Entertaining The New Government at the Inaugural Ball later this Evening."

Saturday May 12, 2018 was the traditional wedding of popular Ghallywood actor John Dumelo and his bride Gifty.

It was an all white colour party as Nadia Buari leads the Bridesmaid's Train. The wedding was attended by his colleagues in the movie industry both in Ghana and Nigeria.

Today Sunday, May 13th is the white wedding.

Snail Seller Meets Governor Akeredolu, Her Long Time Customer

Iya Dare Onigbin at Owena, Igbaraoke in Ifedore local government area, Ondo State long time prayer has been answered - after meeting one of her customers who is now a governor.

Early today it was drizzling in parts of Igbaraoke, little did Mrs Funmilayo Osunla , know that the rain will bring blessing to her way as she would be meeting one of her long time customers who is now the Governor of Ondo State.

Mrs Funmilayo Osunla the snail seller had thought that any effort put into retaining Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, as customer might not materialize for obvious reasons.

Governor Akeredolu, being a loyal customer turned up today at Iya Dare's shade after a long break. It was indeed a miracle of her life to have the governor's convoy pull up to patronise her business.

There was a deep embrace between the two, but the most important aspect of the meeting again is the physical empowerment that will come her way.

Today's meeting will go down in her life as one of the days she will ever live to remember. The Governor took several shots of photographs with her before leaving.

One Man Killed At APC Convention In Agege, Lagos State(Viewer Discretion Adviced)

One man has been reportedly killed today May 12th 2018 , as violence breaks out during APC convention in Agege Local Government Area of Lagos State.

The cause of the death of the deceased is yet to be ascertained and his identity is not known as at the time of writing this story, but from the video footage, some young men were seen brandishing cutlasses on the streets and some throwing bottles and stone.

I Did Not Call Iceberg Slim An Animal, Juliet Ibrahim; Slams Joy FM - Threatens Legal Action

There had been some speculations concerning the relationship between Juliet Ibrahim, Ghallywood actress and Iceberg Slim.

Rumours of break up has filled the media, but the actress has not owned up to it as she has failed to say anything on the new development about her relationship.

Recently Ghana's top radio station Joy FM appears to have annoyed the actress with a concocted headline prompting her to threaten the Radio Station with legal action, if the statement is not retracted.

See below what the Radio Station claims was said by Juliet about her boyfriend, Iceberg Slim:
"My boyfriend is an animal' – Juliet Ibrahim jabs Iceberg Slim #CosmopolitanMix," Joy FM tweeted, allegedly quoting the actress.
Anger by such insinuation by the Radio Station, Juliet Ibrahim expressed her unhappiness with the FM took to Twitter to chide them for spreading fake news about her.
"I thought you were a reputable station? Did I grant you any interview and you are quoting me with a made-up headline? If this article isn't taken down in seconds my lawyer will contact you! Unprofessionalism at its peak!" she ranted.

Nnamdi Kanu’s House In Abia State; Has Been Stormed By Jewish Community.

Some group of Jewish community yesterday stormed the house of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) at Isiama Afaraukwu Ibeku, Umuahia, Abia state. 

The group identified as Yahweh Yahshua Synagogue came to the IPOB leader's house to hold the ongoing Shabbat celebration as they reportedly prayed for Nnamdi Kanu and praised him.

It can be recalled that the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu has on several occasion stated that he and the Igbo people are descendants of the Jews.


Nnamdi Kanu whose whereabouts is still unknown, had always celebrated and identified with the Jewish community in Nigeria and Africa at large.

According to the worshipers, the Jewish religious law, Shabbat is observed from a few minutes before sunset on Friday evening until the appearance of three stars in the sky on Saturday night. Shabbat is ushered in by lighting candles and reciting a blessing.

Kofi Okyere Darko Has Been Slammed By Yvonne Okoro For Congratulating John Dumelo Over Marriage

Kofi Okyere Darko, Ghanaian journalist, has congratulated Nollywood/Ghallywood actor, John Dumelo over his marriage move.

However the Journalist has been slammed by 'angry' actress, beautiful Yvonne Okoro. Kofi has in his Facebook post, said; "had wondered why men in the public eye settle for quiet, unknown ladies and not the ones all over. According to him, this could be a lesson to 'sisters'."

The actress, slammed the journalist for that statement, whom she said could have congratulated the couple without needlessly disparaging other women.

Kofi, @nineteen57bykod you could have congratulated the couple without needlessly denigrating other women. Who a man chooses to be with is a matter of personal preference and vice versa for women too. As you clearly believe that women should make all their life choices with marriage always being at the forefront of their minds, you should preach the same to men.

I pray that young women would be raised to believe that they can achieve their dreams(working hard, and being KNOWN)and being also the perfect bride for some man one day, this goes for the man too.

PS-A quiet and unknown woman does not equate a happy and successful marriage. I know many KNOWN women that are working hard and are all over the place yet great wives and mothers too!!

Lover boy and Ghanaian actor John Dumelo is set to marry his girlfriend known as Mawunya somewhere in Spintex this weekend.

Sources claim that Mawunya who is very close to Nadia Buari, was linked to John Dumelo through the actress. The event will kick off with a traditional marriage ceremony on Saturday at the bride to be family house in Spintex, followed by a white wedding on Sunday.

"I Was Forced To Make Music I Don’t Like" – Davido Talks About Sony Music & ‘Son Of Mercy’ EP

After getting whooping deal with Sony Music sometime in 2016 he decided to part ways with the music company due to reasons he described as "I was forced to make music he doesn't like"

While speaking recently in an interview with Native Magazine, Nigerian super star Afropop singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido disclosed that he had to stop recording the type of songs Sony Music wanted because they did not resonate with him.

Commenting on his 2016 extended playlist, 'Son of Mercy' which was released by Sony, the DMW CEO, said he did not pick the songs that made the EP. He rubbished the EP and noted that he recorded it at a time when he was struggling for hit records.

He said; "Nah, the EP was s**t. The songs were not picked by me, I wasn't in the right place.
"I knew myself. I was like, 'this is not Davido'. My career has always been on fire at all times, ['till then] there was never a time that I didn't have a hit out, and that time I didn't have a hit.
"So, I called Sony up, and I told them look, you have to let me do what I want to do. That's what inspired Back to Basics. First, I had to stop making the music that they (SONY) wanted me to make.
"So, I came back to Nigeria to record a couple of songs. That's when I recorded 'IF' with Tekno."

Davido also said something on how the Omo Baba Olowo (OBO) image, a Yoruba word for son of a rich man, made life harder for him.
He said: "They always have this feeling that like…[because] your daddy has money. In my head, I'm like, I didn't' t choose my Dad, I am his son. I came into the world like anyone else."

Pope Francis Has Been Invited By Catholic Bishops To Visit Nigeria Over Herdsmen Killings

Catholic Bishops in Nigeria, has invited Pope Francis to Nigeria.

The Bishops has said that such visit will strengthen troubled Nigerians and encourage them to cope with different challenges.

The invitation was announced by the Catholic Archbishop of Lagos, Most Rev. Alfred Adewale Martins, in an interview with the Vatican News (the mouthpiece of the Holy City).

He said: "Oh yes! We're looking forward to seeing him. Yes, we did invite him and of course, as expected, he couldn't give us a response then but we hopeful he would react to that. If he does come, it will not only strengthen the people, it will also encourage the people to be able to cope with these different challenges."
Even though, the Catholic spiritual head had not responded to the invitation to visit Nigeria, Most Rev. Martins noted that the Pope was concerned about the killings going on in the country.
Martins said: "Well, of course, we also asked him what message he wanted us to take back home as a message to our people.
"He said we should be courageous, particularly with regards to the recent troubles with the terrorists that masquerade as herdsmen.

"He told us to tell our people that he is with us in spirit and he is with us praying for us; that whatever it is that is possible in order to ameliorate the situation, he is willing to journey with us. We thought that was very good."

Nigerian Woman Princess Chinenye Of Awkuzu Cause Sensation In UK As Australian Women Admire Her Attire

Made in Nigeria goods has always been under serious criticism in Nigeria following claims of being sub-standard.

Recently a Nigerian businesswoman and brand promoter, Lauretta Chinenye from Awkuzu in Anambra state - has shared what happened after she came across a group of Australian women in the United Kingdom.

According to her, she was invited for the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle due to take place on 19 May 2018 at Windsor Castle, the Australian women were amazed by her Nigerian attire as they decided to take photos of her and also with her.

She shared this via Facebook page;

So these Australians women saw me and were taking pictures of me. I was wondering what was going on. I was wondering if people were beginning to see my inner Beyonce and mistook me for her. Anyway, they approached me and said they loved my African top and the combination. Wondered where I got it from..So I told them I am a Princess from Nigeria and my subjects give them to me for free.

Chisos!!! Immediately they heard "princess" This women went gaga and started hugging and begging to take pictures with me as they have never spoken to a real life princess before in their lives.

They asked what I came to do, I said am on holiday and also to attend Prince Harry's wedding, which my kingdom was invited, so am representing my father Ladies and gentlemen I present to you- Princess Chinenye Of Awkuzu Kingdom.

We took pictures and exchanged contacts.I am a Princess biko I didnt lie, nobody should argue I lied.
