The APC in a statement signed by Mr. Collins Edwin, APC Youths Renaissance, National Secretary, the Youth noted that Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has returned the lost winnings of the party.See the Press Release below:The national leadership of APC Youths Renaissance has congratulated the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for leading the party to victory in the just ended governorship election in Ekiti State.In a statement signed by it's national secretary, Mr. Collins Edwin, the group noted that Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has returned the lost winning streak back to the party ahead of 2019 general elections, saying the ex-Edo Governor has brought good luck and proper coordination to the party.The group added that it has no regret supporting Oshiomhole to become national chairman because he has justified the huge confidence and trust invested on him by leading the party to victory in his first electoral outing as national chairman.The group however called on party members to support the national chairman in his efforts to rebuild and reposition the party for greater electoral fortunes in next year's general elections. While congratulating the Governor-Elect, Dr. Kayode Fayemi for his landslide victory at the polls, the group urge his closest rival and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party as well as other contestants in the race to accept defeat with the spirit of sportmanship saying the people of Ekiti have made their choice known and that choice should be respected irrespective of any inclination or expectation. Finally, the group urged President Buhari to remain focused in his determination to deliver good governance to Nigerians and never allow himself to be distracted by the futile efforts of the opposition to distract him, saying his victory in next year's Presidential Election is fully guaranteed. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rejects in its entirety whatever outcome is being concocted by the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies, in the governorship election in Ekiti state.The process, characterised by open alteration of results, brutalization of innocent citizens, barefaced cruelty and intimidation of our members by security agencies, is a brazen assault against democracy and a direct subversion of the will of the people which is completely unacceptable.The PDP is armed with the details of all manipulations by the APC, who is being aided by security agencies and compromised INEC officials to rig the election, particularly, the audacious alteration and substitution of election results in favour of the APC at the collation centers amidst the brutalization of our agents.The PDP also has details of all the polling units where we won, mostly with very wide margin ahead of the APC, only for the security agencies to aid the swapping and alteration of such results with those smuggled in by the APC at the collation centers.It is instructive to state that all the issues we raised ahead of the election, including the conspiracy between the APC, some compromised INEC officials and security agencies; the importation of thugs from other states by the APC; the use of brutal force against our members and the alteration of results in favour of the APC, have all manifested. The PDP holds strongly that there is no way our democracy can survive with an electoral process such as this, being witnessed today in Ekiti state under President Muhammadu Buhari and the current INEC. This bald-faced subversion of the will of the people is a clear recipe for a serious crisis and we invite Nigerians and the international community to hold President Buhari and his APC as well as the INEC Chairman and heads of security agencies in Nigeria responsible for any breakdown of law and order in Ekiti state as a result of this election. This on-going robbery of the franchise of Ekiti people is a horrible rape of our democracy and most uncharitable of President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC who hugely benefitted from the credible election midwifed by the PDP in 2015. Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, former Governor of Delta state and a leader of the People's Democratic Party, has congratulated the All Progressive Congress APC candidate Dr Kayode Fayemi on his victory at the Ekiti governorship election.The result of the Ekiti Governorship election was declared Sunday by the Independent National Election Commission, with Fayemi emerging as winner of the keenly contested election.

| Femi Fani-Kayode Reacts To Obasanjo Congratulatory Letter To Ekiti Governor Elect Posted: 15 Jul 2018 03:41 PM PDT  Chief Fani Kayode has reacted to an alleged letter of congratulation from Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, to Dr. Kayode Fayemi on his election victory.FFK said "if anyone believes that OBJ would congratulate @kfayemi after a rigged election that person does not know Baba well.I assure u that he never signed the letter that is below. It is a forgery and fake news put out by desperate APC hooligans who are in desperate need of validation". The outspoken former Aviation Minister, also said "Glad to hear that the Coalition of Election Observers have rejected the Ekiti results. I look forward to hearing the details of their findings which they say they will release on wednesday. Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the Senate President, has sent a congratulatory message to the Governor-elect of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, on his victory in the just-concluded Ekiti gubernatorial election.Mr. Yusuph Olaniyonu, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, to the Senator President, delivered a statement signed by Saraki, where the he stated that the Governor-elect of Ekiti State should use his second-coming to continue the people-centered policies and programmes of his first term.Saraki urged him to also work to grow the State's economy in order to leave behind a sustainable legacy.He said the victory was a sign that the people of Ekiti State still have confidence in the former minister's ability to provide good governance and render efficient service to the state and its people. He also advised the Governor-elect to maintain his focus on how to bring more development to the State and improve the standard of living of the people.According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the Senate President also urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the law enforcement and security agencies, the government and entire electorate to learn some lessons from the Ekiti State gubernatorial election, which has served as a fore-runner to the 2019 General Elections and ensure that all areas of complaints and inadequacies are corrected before a similar election in Osun State and the 2019 general elections."To ensure that the Nigeria people have continued trust and faith in our electoral system, we must continue to work to improve our electoral policies and practices. We must look into the issues that have been identified in this last election to ensure that they are not repeated in the upcoming Osun Gubernatorial election, and during the 2019 elections. Definitely, the 2019 elections must be better in all ramifications than the 2015 polls", he said. | Omokri, Dele Momodu Comments On Fayemi’s Victory - Ekiti Election Outcome Posted: 15 Jul 2018 08:40 AM PDT  Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan's former aide and author, Reno Omokri, has accused the All Progressives Congress, APC, of rigging the just concluded Ekiti governorship poll.Dr. Kayode Fayemi, the APC candidate was on Sunday declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC of the Ekiti Gubernatorial poll, that took place on Saturday, July 14.Fayemi defeated the PDP candidate, Professor Olusola, the current Deputy Governor of the state in 12 Local Government Areas.According to INEC, The APC candidate recieved 197,459 votes, while Olusola polled 178,114 votes.Reacting to Fayemi's victory, via a tweet on his Twitter handle, Omokri described the election as 'federal military invasion' "Ekiti's election was NOT free and fair. It was more of a federal military invasion than an election. "Even with APC's questionable victory, I remind Buhari of history: PDP WON Ekiti's gubernatorial election in 2014 but LOST the 2015 Presidential election. It is yet Uhuru for PMB!" he tweeted.
