BIAFRA: What Nnamdi Kanu Told The World About 2019 Elections, Trump, Fayose & His Escape

Posted: 21 Oct 2018 06:49 PM PDT

Nnamdi Kanu

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has finally broken his silence, since he resurfaced in Jerusalem, Israel.

In a broadcast on Sunday evening, Kanu vowed not to return to the Federal High Court in Abuja, where he was standing trial before he left the country.

The FG had charged him with treason but Binta Nyako, a judge of the Federal High court in Abuja, had granted him bail after 18 months in detention.

Kanu had flouted all the terms of the bail, before the military invaded his Abia residence on September 14, 2017.

In a broadcast via Radio Biafra, Kanu boasted: "I promised the Zoo that I will be coming to Biafra and I came. I do not recognise the court of the Zoo. I want the people of the Middle Belt to rise and join IPOB.

"IPOB Military intelligent evacuated me from my compound, when the Army of the Zoo attacked me. I am in Israel and the efficiency of MOSAD will be replicated in Biafra. We shall hunt everyone down to avenge the death of IPOB members.

"The Governor of Abia State directed the assault on my father, who is a Monarch. I thank Donald Trump and the government of Israel, who stood by IPOB in our time of need. I thank Prof Ben Nwabueze who stood by me.

"I want to send my solidarity to Ayo Fayose and assure him that Biafra will stand by him in this hour of need. We will have a special place for him in Biafra.

"I thank all my sureties that stood by me. My unavailability was forced on me.

"The Army of the Zoo killed my dog, Jack and few other people in my compound. I am sorry for what my sureties are passing through, but I want to assure them that they will have a special place in Biafra.

"I shall not be honouring the Court. The notion that I jumped bail is a fallacy in Law. I did not jump bail. On the 14th of September, 2017, the terrorists of the Zoo came to kill me. They know if I go to court Nigeria will burn and I was forced to leave. I did not jump bail.

"The Zoo called Nigeria cannot jail me. I will fight till the last day. Binta Nyanko court failed to ask the Nigerian Army why they invaded my home. Nigerian court is a Kangaroo court. I did not jump bail. I left because the court failed to protect me.

"I am not a Nigerian. I already renounced Nigeria in 2015. I am a Biafran with British nationality. I cannot be tried by a court I do not recognise. I do not recognise Nigeria. I can only come to the court with UN supervision.

"IPOB will liberate Biafra and we will not take part in any election, until we get a referendum and this is not negotiable. We will achieve this by every necessary means. We thank Isreal for all the contributions they made to IPOB.

"I owe my survival to the State of Israel.

"I decree that there is no longer South East or South South Nigeria. It shall be known as Biafra. Without referendum, nothing will happen in Nigeria. IPOB will not participate in any election and that position will never change.

"IPOB is the largest mass movement in the whole world. We will not stop until Biafra is fully restored.

"Chukwu Okike Abiama has assured me that Biafra shall come. All collaborators will feel the full weight of the anger of the Biafran people.

"I am coming back to Biafra land soon and I will bring hell with me, the way it has never been seen before."

Oshiomhole Cries Out Over Plot To Pass No Confidence Vote On Him

Posted: 21 Oct 2018 04:51 PM PDT

Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, National Chairman, APC

There had been some reports making rounds in the media, that the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has raised alarm on alleged plot to pass vote of no confidence on him and his executives.

Read full report below as published by Leadership newspaper:

The National Chairman of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has raise an alarm, accusing some unnamed party stalwarts of frustrating his plans to re-position the APC even as he alleged a clandestine move on their part with the ultimate aim of passing a no confidence vote on him.

This is as the Chairman however assured that the party under him is in safe hands as it marches on sure-footing to victory in the 2019 general elections.

He made the allegation on Sunday in Abuja in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Simon Ebebgulem, adding that "This is the overarching mission of the national working committee, NWC, of the party under his leadership",

The statement noted that the suggestion in some quarters, "especially by one of the presidential aspirants on the platform of the party, Alhaji Mumakai Unagha, that the APC cannot win with Oshiomhole as published at page 42 of Saturday Vanguard of October 20, 2018, is therefore unfair, denigrating and baleful of Comrade Oshiomhole's persona and commitment to a rejuvenated winning machine that the APC typifies.

"The totality of Unagha's claims, without necessarily addressing them one after the other, tallies with cooked-up narratives being sponsored by some influential stakeholders in their respective states that Comrade Oshiomhole is responsible for all the problems in the APC at the moment.

"These influential stakeholders, according to grapevine, have begun to mobilise to pass a no-confidence vote in the leadership of Oshiomhole, having failed to impose their preferred candidates on the party in the nomination process".

The statement reads further; "Comrade Oshiomhole did not become national chairman of the governing party to bring it down a notch from the pedestal of its 2015 electoral victory let alone to preside over its liquidation.

"Rather, his single-minded goal, from the outset of his declaration of interest in the position, was to deploy his capacity in helping to strengthen and reposition the party as a truly supreme and disciplined political entity.

"Although, it might appear fortuitous to some persons that he became national chairman at the threshold of the 2019 general election; the truth is that there is no accident in predestination.

"We must appreciate the fact that it has pleased the Almighty God to place him in the saddle of APC leadership at this time for a purpose. "The purpose has begun to manifest in its vast flourish and ramifications: instilling discipline, ensuring party supremacy, promoting due process, dealing with impunity and executive arrogance wherever they manifest to undermine intra-party electoral processes in the states.

"From the outset, we never expected that those who cherished and supported the status quo, which Comrade Oshiomhole supplanted, would cave in easily under the magnitude of the current political revival that he spearheads. "Indeed, while the progressives are enamored of change, the conservatives find it difficult to embrace it. That is the current reality in the deliberate effort to rebrand the APC.

"Again, we were not, in the least, deluded that the process of rebranding or rewriting the narrative of the four-year old party would be easy. What we are witnessing in the APC today is Comrade Oshiomhole's adroit management of the strains and pains that accompany the birth of a resuscitated governing party.

"The leadership provided in the recently-held primary elections and the large-scale integrity of the processes are developments that should hence serve as exemplars in the administration of governing parties.

"Indeed, the message therein is very clear that the party, and not pseudo political empires in the states, has the power to superintend the primary elections for the nomination of the party's candidates in the general election.

"While the party will not surrender its functions, which are constitutionally circumscribed, to any other entities, it will always be ready to moderate the divergent tendencies and mediate the disparate political camps in the interest of party cohesion.

"This is one of the hardnosed truths that the Comrade Oshiomhole-led NWC preaches and practises with an apostolic zeal to the chagrin of some influential stakeholders in the states.

"Comrade Oshiomhole envisions an APC that is capacitated to pragmatically build a corpus of leadership and membership that do not only submit to the high ideal of party supremacy but also the credo of party discipline.

"These-party supremacy and discipline- are two fundamentals that had been eroded even before the emergence of the Oshiomhole leadership. It is sad that while the national chairman is working round the clock, some stakeholders have thrown selfish political agendas into the mix to threaten the building of institutional capacity for the APC.

"Rather than resort to needless perfidy at the threshold of a general election, we call on them to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship, bolstered by the fact that the Oshiomhole leadership is propelled more by its interest in propriety in which victory for the party could be grounded. The crime committed by Comrade Oshiomhole's leadership is its disdain for impunity and circumvention of due process perpetrated in some of the states at the pleasure of some influential stakeholders.

"Overall, Comrade Oshiomhole has not, since stepping in the saddle, taken any unilateral decision in the running of the party affairs. All decisions, so far taken, passed through the mills of NWC deliberative sessions and enjoyed unanimous resolutions. The records are there. History will justify Comrade Oshiomhole and posterity will vindicate him.

"Therefore, with eyes firmly fixed on the general election, especially the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in the scheduled February 16 poll, Comrade Oshiomhole assures all stakeholders in the APC of his respect for them. He assures them of his readiness to work with them for the good of the party.

"The comrade chairman also proposes a common front in the general election and believes that the APC, as a governing party, will do a commemorative post mortem next year to appraise and reappraise the political developments and decisions that presaged the election, which it would win emphatically".

PDP 2019: Trouble Imminent As Ekweremadu In Serious Pressure To Quit

Posted: 21 Oct 2018 07:30 AM PDT

Ike Ekweremadu, Deputy Senate President

…Those who worked against Atiku are now calling the shots against those who supported him

…This is a civil war that could cost PDP not only the 2019 election but also consume it

…South east PDP governors not against Obi but worried about emerging 2023 signals

By Vanguard Reporters;

Trouble is looming large in the People Democratic Party (PDP) as some political forces within the party are mounting pressure on the  Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, to quite the party over perceived mistreatment of the Senator. Ekweremadu These, competent sources say this was not unconnected with his "total sidelining in the affairs of the party immediately after the Port Harcourt Convention where Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was elected the presidential candidate of the PDP in the 2019 election.

Competent source and a ranking member of the National Assembly said: "The issue is not even the mishandling of the processes leading to the emergence of former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, as the running mate to PDP's presidential candidate, in which the South East leaders were totally sidelined. The issue is a deliberate attempt to sideline the Senator in the emerging scheme of things within the party.

"There is a clear grand conspiracy against Senator Ekweremadu and it is just unfair. I am not talking about him not been nominated as vice presidential candidate. In any case, he has shown more interest in restructuring and other key South East interests than in vice presidential ticket. In the discussions leading up to our consideration of the aspirants and eventual decision to give a block vote to Atiku, he always said that the South East should go for the substance than for sheer title.

"To show that the sidelining of Ekweremadu was deliberate, none of the key actors have even reached out to him. The announcement was made on Friday, but Obi only started moving round on Sunday, in the evening. And I did not see him move with the National Chairman or National Secretary. It would have been ideal for Obi, Prince Uche Secondus and some other senior party leaders to have flown into Enugu that Saturday to meet with South East leaders.

"Assuming Atku heard that there was a subterranean effort to substitute him, wouldn't he have since rushed home or even cancelled his trip out of Nigeria that Saturday to address the matter? And was it too much for him or Uche Secondus to pick a phone to call Ekweremadu, especially given the role he has played in calming the angry South East party leaders?"

Ekweremadu snubbed in the composition of PCC

It has also been alleged that Ekweremadu knew nothing about the composition of Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) of the party.

Our source said it was part of the grand schemes by some powerful interests to humiliate and sink Ekweremadu politically.
Recall that the PDP had earlier this week announced the PCC with Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki as the Director-General; Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, as North West Coordinator; Governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwambo as North-East Coordinator; and Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom as North-Central Coordinator

Former Governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Fayose and Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi were named as the Coordinators for South-west and South East, respectively, while the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Emmanuel Udom, was appointed Chairman of Fund Raising Committee, and a former presidential aspirant, Alhaji Taminu Turaki, heads the Legal Committee.

Ekweremadu's name was however conspicuously missing.

"It is not only about whether his name is there or not. I can also authoritatively inform you that Ekweremadu heard the news of the membership of the PCC in the media like other non-PDP members.

"I can confirm to you that nobody mentioned anything about the PCC to him, let alone include him or ask him to nominate anybody or seek his suggestions even out of respect. I confronted a senior party leader just yesterday, who told me that the PCC is a large body and more names would be announced. And I told him that he was talking nonsense.

"So, it is not just an accident and neither did it come to some of us here at the National Assembly as a surprise. Our party has been hijacked and there is a grand design, a gargantuan conspiracy to bury Ekweremadu politically and it started unfolding  right from immediately after the Port Harcourt convention because a certain governor from the South South who worked for Governor Tambuwal wasn't happy the way South East voted and he is holding the South East party leaders responsible for greatly contributing to Atiku's victory.

"Don't forget that in announcing the PCC, Our National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus said it was 'after 'due consultation with party stakeholders under his leadership'.

"When they announced the VP candidate, they said they consulted fare and wide, yet no party leader from Ekweremadu's South East, including himself as both a senior national party leader from the zone was consulted. In order words, Ekweremadu is no longer a party stakeholder?

"How could you discuss or constitute a presidential campaign council and the same man, who stood like the Rock of Gibraltar for the party when many abandoned it and it seemed the world had come to an end for it only read it in the papers like others?

"Even though we have always known Ekweremadu as a man of principle, he has never changed party since 1998, we were surprised he could defy  the persecutions and political pressures piled on him to stay firm to defend the PDP. He showed leadership. He rallied us to shepherded the PDP during the trying period.

Ekweremadu was slammed with phantom charge of forgery of Senate Standing Rule. Police invaded his guest house sometime in 2017 or so. In fact, before that, there was an assassination attempt on him in 2015 or thereabout. The EFCC has been harassing him. The same with all sorts of Federal Government Panels. Imagine, it got to such ridiculous extent that the Special Presidential Investigation Panel even asked him to declare his assets to it even when he had fulfilled the constitutional provision for public officers to declare their assets with the Code of Conduct Bureau every four years. He was asked to start filling new asset declaration forms contrary to the constitution. EFCC and police have laid siege to his house. Hoodlums invaded senate chamber and ran away with the mace while he was presiding sometime this year. Just too many harassments, intimidations, and media trial suffered because of this same party.

"All these happened to force him to dump PDP because they knew without that seat occupied by Ekweremadu and him utilizing it well to hold the opposition together, PDP would have been dealt a fatal blow.

"So, we feel very embittered that it is those, who abandoned the party and who worked against Alhaji Atiku Abubakar's emergence as the party's presidential candidate that are now dictating the tunes. Impunity and injustice cost the PDP the 2015 elections and I can tell you that it is clear now that the same impunity and injustice followed the PDP home from very successful Port Harcourt convention.

"And they are doing all these because Ekweremadu is not the radical type. But, as far as I am concerned, there is a limit to every rubbish. With these untrustworthy people, Ekweremadu needs no political enemies and he should be man enough to weigh his political options and his future with the PDP.

"But, mark my words, this gang-up against a man, who has sacrificed so much for our party will be the last straw that will break the caramel's back. It will result in intra-party 'civil war' that could  cost the PDP not only the 2019 election, but also consume it finally.

"We see no reason he should rethink his political future with the PDP. This is the least he has to do now as a pragmatic politician because he has been told in unmistakable  terms by fifth columnists working against Atiku's presidential victory that he does not matter and has no future with the PDP even if Atiku wins.

"But, for some of us, the truth is that if a snake comes into your home, you have two choices: fight off the snake or run away. For me, I will not only fight the snake, but I will also, in the instance of the humiliation and hanky panky treatment the PDP is meting out to our leader, burn down the entire house so that everybody can begin to shop for a new home", the source added.

South East PDP governors, leaders not against Obi

Meanwhile, contrary to news making the rounds, it has emerged that the South East PDP leaders are not against Obi's nomination, but were concerned about the process and the future of the South East.

"We saw news flying up and down, saying that our presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has picked a running mate from the zone. We were shocked because we were not consulted. While we were meeting, Atiku sent message that he travelled out of the country for a short period. He promised to come down and meet with South East leaders", Governor of Ebonyi State and Chairman of South East Governors Forum, Dave Umahi told newsmen after the Enugu meeting was called off.

Also speaking with the press, the National Vice Chairman of the PDP (South East), Deacon Austin Umahi, said: "Our leaders in the South East, the governors, the National Assembly Members came together to appreciate the Party for the recognition of South East and keeping to their promise to give the Vice Presidential slot to South East.

REVEALED: Father Mbaka Attacks Buhari, Atiku, Predicts Winner Of 2019 Presidential Election

Posted: 21 Oct 2018 06:21 AM PDT

Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka

Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, the Spiritual Director, Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria, has said that while President Muhammadu Buhari is "change," former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is "bureau de change."

Mbaka described Atiku as bureau de change, according to him, because of the foreign currencies that allegedly exchanged hands at the National Convention of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, before the ex-VP emerged the party's presidential candidate, Daily Post reports.

However, the Spiritual Director, has predicted that Atiku will defeat Buhari in 2019 but warned him not to emulate Buhari if he is elected the president.

The fiery Man of God said this while addressing his congregation at the Adoration Ground.

"So let the will of God be done in Nigeria. It is like what I have been saying Buhari change or you will be changed"

Fr. Mbaka said that Buhari had all the human and material resources at his disposal to make the country better but rather choose to play ethnic, despotic politics.

"What will it take you; change the Chief of Staff, change B, change C, change this and change that; even if it will take 20 Igbo men or 20 Yoruba men to change Nigeria; take all of them. Look at what (Chukwuma) Soludo did in the Central Bank; he has assured Nigeria and the whole world that there is nothing like bank collapse again.

"An Igbo man did this, why can't Buhari take Soludo for the economic revival and revamping of Nigeria's economy? And you are busy talking about corruption, playing game with the lives of Nigerians from the issue of Fulani herdsmen to Boko Haram to Jos killings. You said somebody stole, what did he steal?

"Someday, they said the government has spent trillions of naira on social investment scheme and I want to know who are the people they were spending the money on; the Vice President said they are giving N10,000 to small scale businesses and I asked, is this how they will transform Nigeria? You give somebody N10,000 for business, what type of business will N10,000 start?

"Somebody will have billions and want to take the one belonging to the public while hunger will be killing his people. Look at the type of money they shared during the primaries to the extent that they brought Bureau de Change. They said Buhari is change, but Atiku is bureau de change. They were sharing the money in dollars and it was going out in millions of dollars in Nigeria where hunger is killing people; where you don't have food to eat.

"If they spend such monies to get ticket, how do you think that when they get into power they will rule, of course, they will first recover the money they have spent but the worst is that the money was not being shared to the poor," he lamented.

Speaking further, the prophet described the cost of APC Expression of Interest and Nomination forms as outrageous.

According to Mbaka, if the leadership of the party had conscience, they would not have collected N24 million from people to obtain the forms.

"There are some people that sold their land to pay for this form because of the promise they were made. I don't think these politicians were thinking of heaven that is why they are ready to kill anybody that stands on their way," he said.

Mbaka said that Atiku may not be able to solve the problems of Nigeria if he emerged victorious.

"If anybody is thinking that if Atiku becomes the President of Nigeria things will get better, 'who born you' because for this country to be good it is easier for a carmel to pass through the eye of a needle than this country to be good," he said, urging that Nigerians must do their part to make Nigeria the nation of their dream.

The fiery preacher predicted defeat for the APC but said that there was still opportunity for change.

"There are no people that will develop this country that are not in Nigeria. We have people who will develop this nation; but our President left the same type of people who don't have the same type of vision around him and everything they do is in your head.

"After you are removed, they will bring people that will flog you because you messed up the opportunities because you didn't listen to the word of God. You didn't listen to the man of God you have and you were disobeying him.

"The price of disobedience is disgrace," he asserted.

JUST IN: Boko Haram Set Women Free, Butchered Men 'Into Pieces' After Capturing Farmers

Posted: 21 Oct 2018 05:49 AM PDT

Boko Haram

The terrorist group, Boko Haram, has reportedly captured some farmers, set women free and butchered men to pieces in a village near Maiduguri, the Bornu State Capital.

Read full story below as published by the News Agency of Nigeria:

Boko Haram terrorists have invaded Kuwa-Yangewa village on Maiduguri-Damboa Road in Borno.

The attack, which occurred on Saturday, was targeted at farmers in the area.

An eyewitness told NAN that when the insurgents attacked the community, they asked women to go while the men were macheted.

Recounting her ordeal, Ms Rachel Hassan, said: "I hired somebody, a displaced person residing at the Bakassi Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), to work on my farm. The insurgents came and gathered us in one place. They asked women to go and macheted the males."

She also noted that some of the corpses were cut to pieces, and that she reported the case to the GRA Police Station.

Malam Ahmadu Salisu, a relative of one of the victims, said his brother and 11 other farmers of Maduganari area of Maiduguri went to work in their farms in the morning, but were butchered by the insurgents.

"So far, we recovered four corpses from the farms, while eight others are missing or abducted by the insurgents," he said.

Another victim, Aisha Waziri, said she was informed by her neighbours that her husband was among the victims.

Although the Nigerian Army confirmed two persons killed by the terrorists, sources told SaharaReporters that at least 10 persons were killed.

Speaking on the attack, Brigadier General Abdulamalik Biu, Acting General Officer Commanding (GOC) 7 Division, said: "Some people went to the farms and Boko Haram insurgents attacked them. They butchered an elderly man and a youth.

"The wife to the elderly man ran and informed the troops, who rushed to the scene to save them. The insurgents fled on sighting the approaching troops. Only two persons were killed and no abduction in the attack."

However, a source in the village told Sahara Reporters that the attack happened around 9am on Saturday morning in the outskirts of Molai village.

SaharaReporters was informed that the insurgents rode on utility vehicles to attack the farmers.

"No fewer than 10 farmers were either shot or slaughtered, while more than a dozen were seriously injured by the invaders," the source said.
