BIAFRA: Asari Dokubo ‘Disagree’ With Nnamdi Kanu Over 2019 Elections(VIDEO)

Posted: 03 Dec 2018 03:34 PM PST

Asari Dokubo

Asari Dokubo, Ex-Niger-Delta militant leader, has expressed his disagreement with Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), over his call for the boycott of the 2019 general elections by the South-East and South-South region.

Dokubo made his views known in a six minutes video which surfaced on the social media on Monday, Daily Post reports.

Kanu had over the weekend urged IPOB supporters and sympathizers in the two geopolitical zones to shun the 2019 general election unless the Federal Government announced a date for Biafra referendum.

Reacting to the call, Dokubo argued that heeding Kanu's advice was suicidal since it would be tantamount to empowering those opposed to the Biafra aspirations with resources from the national treasury to frustrate the people's struggle.

He went further to point out that pro-independent agitators in Spain, Ireland and Palestine contested elections and won seats into political offices in a bid to push their agenda rather than boycott general elections in their respective nations.

His words: "Fellow Biafrans and compatriots, our goal is the freedom of our motherland. It is not about the celebration and deification of individuals. It is not about the appropriation of our collective struggle by an individual, group of individuals or an organisation. The Biafra struggle is for the freedom of all Biafrans.

"But we have to clear some misconceptions. These misconceptions is that people who are fighting for freedom do not get involved in political participations.

"Let us come to the touching issue of election boycott. It is standing history on its head to say that we should boycott elections.

"In Catalan, the pro-Catalan independent party is contesting election even after the imperialists Spanish government dissolved (Catalan) parliament and government and cancelled elections. But they still contested and won election and are in power.

"The pro-independent Scottish party is contesting election; they continue to contest election and control the government of Scotland.

"The pro-independent Northern Ireland Party, the Irish Republican Army thought its political wing is contesting elections.

"Hamas who are pro-independent parties or organization in Palestine are contesting elections.

"How can you give resources to empower the hands of the enemies of our struggle? I am not from Anambra state but if we had gone to vote in Anambra, Obiano would not be there (as governor).

"Obiano is an enemy of our people. Today he has sold our land to General Muhammadu Buhari or his double that is in Aso Rock because I do not believe the man in Aso Rock is General Muhammadu Buhari.

"When people tell us the truth, we don't want to accept. We want to impose our will which is not working and is anti-our people.

"We frighten our people, run away from soldiers, we run away from occupation forces, we run away from police. Why would we do that? Who are we deceiving?

"Finally, no outsider can give us freedom. They have not done it anywhere. It is we, with our own show of valour and commitment, can give is freedom."

CLONED BUHARI: See What Enugu Prophet, Nwoko Revealed About Nnamdi Kanu, Atiku, Fr. Mbaka

Posted: 03 Dec 2018 01:40 PM PST

Prophet Anthony Nwoko

Anthony Nwoko, an Enugu-based prophet, on Monday came hard on the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu over his claims that President Muhammadu Buhari has since been replaced by Jubril, a Sudanese.

Nwoko, who addressed a press conference in Enugu, said the IPOB leader committed abomination by his utterances.

The Prophet said Buhari was very much alive and healthy, Daily Post reports.

He said, "Nnamdi Kanu is going around saying that Buhari is dead, but I want to tell the whole world, as a prophet, that Buhari is alive, he will not die. Buhari is healthy and he is the same Buhari from Katsina.

"I saw him in the spirit and he is the same Buhari. So, for Nnamdi Kanu to be talking, he has committed an abomination. God is angry with him.

"So, I'm appealing to Buhari to forgive him. If Nnamdi Kanu is working for PDP, he should come out clean. What he is doing now has nothing to do with Biafra.

He didn't spare the spiritual director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, who he claimed was not a genuine prophet.

The prophet spoke in reaction to what Mbaka said about the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Buhari of the APC during a harvest thanksgiving in his church on Sunday.

"I have said it so many times that Mbaka is not a prophet of God, he is only deceiving the people, I'm ready to expose him. Mbaka and his collaborators will pay the price.

"For Atiku, tell him bye bye, let him stop putting billboard in Igbo land because he is not going anywhere.

"The Igbo leaders that endorsed him are canal, they don't know what the spirit is saying.

"I want to say it clearly that the last President of PDP extraction is Jonathan, Atiku is going nowhere.

"As for Buhari, 2019 is also a no-go-area for him. No politician from any of the party will deliver Nigeria. INEC should pack and go, no messiah will come through politics. I am the only messiah, the one with the glory.

"Very soon, Buhari and Atiku will bow to the glory of God."

He also did not spare the national chairman of the United Progressive Party, UPP, Chief Chekwas Okorie for endorsing Buhari.

"Chekwas is not 'Ojeozi Ndigbo', (messenger of Ndigbo) he should retrace from his steps," Nwoko declared.

Peter Obi Asks Supporters Not To Attack Fr Mbaka Over Unfavourable 2019 Prediction

Posted: 03 Dec 2018 06:42 AM PST

Mr Peter Obi, PDP vice Presidential candidate

Mr Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, now vice presidential candidate of the main opposition party in Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has called on his supporters not to attack, the clergy man, Father Ejike Mbaka over prophesies that the Atiku election project would fail.

Obi, who spoke through his media aide, Val Obienyem, rather called on his supporters to pray for Mbaka as that was what was expected of them.

Reverend Father Mbaka had on Sunday at his adoration ground, Enugu, warned that the Atiku campaign project may fail if he failed to come to Enugu to confer with him, Daily Post reports.

In a video of the programme, which is widely circulating on the internet, Mbaka was seen urging Obi to make donation to the church, while warning him that God hates stingy people.

Obi, had while speaking at the bazaar and thanksgiving ceremony, promised to confer privately with the priest on what he would donate, but Mbaka insisted that it was deceit for Obi to come to his church and fail to part with any money.

Speaking in Igbo, the priest kept urging the vice presidential candidate, if his principal, Atiku Abubakar did not give him anything to bring to the church.

Supporters of Peter Obi had been infuriated by the priest's comments, leading to torrent of attacks on him on social media.

But Obienyem, while speaking for Obi, said, "I have personally reached out to many people restraining them from attacking Fr. Ejike Mbaka because of their love for Peter Obi.

"If you truly respect Obi, please and please, do not attack Fr. Mbaka. In the first instance, His Excellency does not interpret the comments of Fr. Mbaka the way several observers do. While one may disagree with him, we should always acknowledge that he speaks and acts from the higher perspective of wisdom.

"His Excellency believes that every situation, however unpleasant, has positive lessons for us. Please let us leave Fr. Mbaka alone, our duty to him is prayers for God to lead him aright."

Obi regretted that the spat at the adoration ground in Enugu cost his younger brother, who is also a Catholic priest, some engagements both in Onitsha and Lagos, the same day.

Father Obi, who joined his elder brother to Enugu for the service, was billed to return to Lagos but because of the delay as a result of arguments between Mbaka and Obi over donations, he missed his flight billed for 3pm from Asaba and had to join a 5:30pm flight from Enugu.

We Have Not Received $1bn Approved To Fight Insurgency - Nigerian Army

Posted: 03 Dec 2018 05:36 AM PST

Nigerian Army

The Nigerian Army said the $1 billion approved to fight insurgency and other security challenges has not been released to the military.

President Muhammadu Buhari, in 2017, wrote the national assembly, requesting the approval of the withdrawal of $1 billion from the Excess Crude Account (ECA) to purchase weapons, strengthen the fight against insurgency.

Army spokesman Brig.-Gen. Sani Usman, said the money is still being processed.

Recall that in 2017, the national economic council (NEC) approved the request of the current administration to withdraw $1 billion from the excess crude account (ECA) for the fight against insurgency, Oriental Times reports.

Fielding questions on a TV Programme, Sani Usman, spokesman of the army, said the money is still being processed.

"People should understand also that this is a democratic system in which procurement and of course funding of defense related issues takes such a long time," he said.

"Take for instance the issue of the $1 billion approved recently by Mr. President, up till now the process is ongoing. The ministry of defense is still pursuing the matter to the point that when it is done, the armed forces will definitely get more equipment, more arms and ammunition," Usman said.

2019 PRESIDENCY: Atiku And Wike Meet Over Alleged Resignation From Presidential Campaign Team

Posted: 03 Dec 2018 05:05 AM PST

Governor Nyesom Wike and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, has met with Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, who is reportedly planning to resign from his presidential campaign team.

Atiku who visited Wike yesterday, assured the governor that he will henceforth be involved in key campaign decisions, Oriental Times reports.

This is coming in, as Atiku Presidential campaign officially begins today.

The governor, in his response said he had no grouses against Atiku, but the leadership of the PDP which was trying to sideline him.

This may influence his alleged decision to resign as the South-South Coordinator of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council.

Wike has ruled out leaving PDP, said a cabinet source.

Atiku may also reconcile the leadership of the party and Wike on issues raised by the governor.

But Atiku's Special Assistant, Public Communications, Mr. Phrank Shaibu, said: "The PCC is intact; there is no cause for alarm."

He insisted that the purported resignation of Wike was "speculative".

A source, who spoke in confidence, confirmed the meeting. He said: "Atiku and Wike met on Sunday (yesterday) in Abuja and they had fruitful and frank discussions. We are good to go with our campaign as from Monday (today).

"The governor used the opportunity to list his grouses against the leadership of PDP, especially the emerging trend of marginalising him in key decisions connected with the campaign.

"At the session, Atiku promised to address the challenges identified by Wike and he also assured him that he will facilitate a reconciliation with the party hierarchy.

"Atiku implored him to withdraw his purported resignation by putting the nation, 2019 poll battle and the interest of the party above other interests.

"Based in the soothing words from Atiku, the governor may today rescind his decision to resign as the party's South-South coordinator."

An executive council source in Rivers State, who spoke in confidence, said: "I have not been able to link up with the governor today but one thing is certain, Governor Nyesom Wike will not leave PDP no matter how rough the situation is."

"The so-called deepening face-off between Atiku and Wike should be regarded as a mere cliche, figment of the imagination of the writers of such fiction, because there is nothing as such.

"Governor Wike's purported resignation as Southsouth PDP Presidential campaign co-ordinator is still in the realm of speculation.

"Wike is a solid and unshakable PDP leader. His contributions to the survival and sustenance of the party to become the formidable force it is today have been unsurpassed.

"As a total party man, his first priority in the 2019 election is to secure Rivers state for the PDP and he knows that with the Presidential election coming first, all hands must be on deck and no stone must be left unturned to ensure that the bandwagon effect of a PDP presidential election victory will flow into his own governorship election in March.

"However, should the speculation of his resignation as a regional campaign coordinator have any real meaning, then Governor Wike must have very good and impeccable reasons for his decision which must be in the overall interest of the party."

2019 ELECTIONS: Timi Frank Take Buhari To Abdulsalami’s Committee, UN, US, EU Over Electoral Act 2018

Posted: 03 Dec 2018 04:13 AM PST

President Muhammadu Buhari

Comrade Timi Frank, the former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has called on the National Peace Committee headed by former Head of state, retired Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar, to prevail on President Muhammadu Buhari to urgently sign into law the Electoral Act 2018 as amended.

Frank also called on the United Nations, United States of America, European Union and the African Union to lend their voices to compel President Buhari to sign the Electoral Act 2018 as amended.

He said this will prove to the world that Buhari is committed to peaceful elections in 2019.

Frank however warned that alleged plot to rig 2019 election by the incumbent government will backfire.

The Bayelsa-born politician said the new Electoral Act will not only ensure a free, fair and credible election, but will also help reduce to the minimum level cases of electoral fraud and violence which has often characterised elections in this part of the world.

In a statement signed and issued to DAILY POST in Abuja on Monday, Frank accused the ruling APC of plotting to rig the forthcoming elections.

According to him, the refusal to sign the Electoral Act by the President is also part of the plot.

He recalled that the Gen. Abdusalam Abubakar-led committee did a very good job in 2015 which he said led to the peaceful handing-over by former President Goodluck Jonathan when the later lost the election.

Frank said that for the 2019 elections to be peaceful, the committee must also get the Police leadership and INEC to be neutral, insisting that all the recent elections conducted under the current INEC boss were not free and fair.

The statement added, "If Mr President does not have any hidden agenda, regarding the 2019 election, why is he playing lip service to guaranteeing a peaceful election, but refusing also to signing the Electoral Bill which has been amended to his taste?

"Again, this is to inform the security agencies and INEC that any attempt to rig the will of the people in the coming polls will be resisted by Nigerians."

While making references to recent elections conducted by the current INEC leadership, Frank said, "even in known opposition strongholds, APC used force and coercion to suppress the will of the people.

"Our experiences recently in Ekiti, Osun and the recent Kwara state bye elections, by the current INEC leadership, has left no one in doubt about the neutrality and sincerity in delivering a free, fair and credible elections in 2019."

According to Frank, if the general elections were to be held today, the fate of the APC would be very obvious, as the margin will be wider than anticipated or imagined.

"As it is now, opposition has lost confidence in the current leadership of INEC, Police and other security agencies because of their political affiliation with the APC, and as evident with their partisanship at the launch of President Buhari's Next Level campaign recently.

"For President Buhari to show that he is committed to a peaceful election, the President must be committed to signing the 2018 Electoral Act as amended into law.

"The opposition is ready to accept defeat should they lose under a transparent free, fair and credible elections strengthened by extant laws, and not under a bizarre situation where the ruling party, INEC and the police are perceived by their actions and inactions, conniving for a common purpose to rig.

"I'm also using this opportunity to call on the United Nations, United State of America, European Union and African Union, to lend their voices to compel President Buhari to sign the Electoral Act 2018 as amended into law, proving to the world that he is committed to a peaceful elections in 2019," he said.

Buhari Is Not A Clone – Nnamdi Kanu Replies FG

Posted: 03 Dec 2018 04:01 AM PST

Nnamdi Kanu and President Buhari

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has replied the Federal Government that he never said President Muhammadu Buhari was cloned.

The IPOB leader, said his message to the world has always been that President Buhari was 'dead' and was replaced by another individual, Jubril Aminu Al-Sudani, as a double.

Kanu made the clarification during the weekend in a two-and-half hour worldwide radio broadcast from Israel.

Recall that Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, sparked public interest when he said it was 'idiotic' to contemplate that the President was cloned.

President Buhari himself yesterday told the Nigerian community in Poland that he was the real person and not a clone.

But in his reaction, Kanu said the introduction of 'cloning' into the narrative was a diversionary attempt to confuse the people.

His words: "We are going to dismantle the lies of Lai Mohammed and his brother (Senator Ajayi Borroffice), who claims he holds a doctorate degree in genetics and said nobody can clone a 75-yr-old.

"Lai Mohammed re-echoed that sentiment. If you're not intelligent enough, you will think that Nnamdi Kanu said Buhari was cloned into Jubril (a Sudanese).

"That was not what I said. I said Jubril is an impostor. They (the cabal) brought him in to act and behave like the 'dead' Buhari. I never said he was cloned.

"The introduction of cloning into the narrative was a ploy to confuse the people.

"I am very grateful that the Sudanese government are doing something about this by investigating the matter.

"It must be mentioned that the mastermind of the fraud of Jibril is Abba Kyari. Has anyone seen him recently?"

The IPOB leader accused the presidency of shielding the President from getting into close proximity with the troops during his recent visit to Maiduguri so as not to blow his cover as a 'fake'.

Kanu further took a swipe at Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo, over a purported reluctance, on his part, to tell Nigerians the 'truth' about his principal.

"Osinbajo is a coward that is why he is not President. Dora Akunyili sacrificed her life that Jonathan may become president. Without what she did, nobody had the mettle to speak the truth.

"Akunyili came and told everybody the truth that Yar'Adua was dead. What they (the cabal) are doing now was perfected then," he added.
