Spring 2019 Commencement & Grad Fair Posted: 22 Feb 2019 05:20 AM PST Graduating Students: If you are planning on attending the Campus-Wide Commencement Ceremony and/or the Department of Economics Commencement Ceremony, you will should visit the Grad Fair at the University Book Center March 5 – 7th. In order to participate in commencement, undergraduate and master's degree students must purchase their regalia from the book center.The following items are required and sold as a package: •Cap •Gown •Departmental hood •Stole of gratitude •Tassel with official medallion The undergraduate package will cost $147.98 and the master's degree package will cost $155.98. If you attend the Grad Fair, you will receive $10 off the package price. If you are unable to attend Grad Fair, you can still visit the University Book Center after that time to purchase your regalia however orders must be places by April 15th to guarantee the correct style/size. Online ordering will be available beginning March 8th at https://umdcollegepark.shopoakhalli.com. If you have questions regarding regalia orders, contact the University Book Center directly at 301-314-9231. COMMENCEMENT DATES/TIMES: Department of Economics Ceremony Date: Friday, May 24th Time: 6:30 p.m. Location: Xfinity Center Tickets are NOT REQUIRED.
