Olajumoke Orisaguna Leaves Her Baby Daddy To God
Nigerian model, Olajumoke Orisaguna has said she has left her baby daddy to God after he called her out over infidelity.

Olajumoke in an interview with Punchng.com denied all the allegations made by her baby daddy against her.

"Anybody can say whatever pleases them with their mouth. He is the one that has been spreading such stories. When a man knows everything about you, he can choose to do whatever with that information. As for me, I am okay and there is nothing wrong with me."

"Whatever is going on is known to God. We are still together. He has never discussed all what he has been saying outside with me, so I don't understand what he is driving at because we sleep in the same house.

"Well, he can continue saying whatever pleases him but I will not say anything bad about him. There is nobody I will discuss his matter with; I just leave him to God. God will judge between us."

Here Is Why Davido Missed The Presidential Election On Saturday
Award-winning Nigerian singer, Davido has been one of the very few vocal celebrities before the 2019 elections urging young people to go out and vote.

He was however in South Africa for an event and not in the country to participate in the voting and when people started calling him out, he blamed it on the re-scheduling of the polls.

Davido attributed the postponement of the election to be why he did not show up saying that, unlike others, he had a job to attend to.

Laura Ikeji begs Nigerians after 'lying' that she doesn't repeat clothes
Laura Ikeji has apologized to her followers, after 'lying' that she doesn't repeat clothes in response to a follower's question.

Recall that a follower had asked; "You said you wear new clothes everyday. So my question is what do you do with the clothes you've worn? Can I have them?" Laura Ikeji replied by saying "I give em out."

However in a new video she shared after the backlash she faced, Laura Ikeji who apologized for 'lying' she doesn't repeat clothes, told her followers that no fashion entrepreneur will ever repeats clothes on the gram as it will scare away customers.

She further disclosed that she has some jeans that have been with her for over 8 years.

She wrote;

Hey guys, y'all know how passionate I am about my work n businesses, this write up here is soooo unfair, my store stocks over 20 different people who bring clothes monthly for us to sell, every time I buy stuff I pay in full cos we have to pay the stockiest monthly of everything sold for them.

I have never in my life returned any clothe I've taken out to the store, yes I rarely repeat clothes on the gram, every fashion influencer will tell u same. It's not being boastful, we wear our clothes outside the gram wella and there re things we repeat for sure n very often too, I've had jeans for 7 8 years n I repeat them. With statements like these, some customers may actually believe and stop patronizing us and it's very unfair. Don't know this person but I'm sure she wrote this after all the nasty comments. Young lady, they lied to u fam.

This is me apologizing for making young girls think it isn't ok to repeat clothes on the gram, U CAN and it's very cool Infact u can wear one shirt 5 times a week if u style it differently. It wasn't my intention to make u question how u look on the gram. I should have said off the gram I repeat my clothes a lot. To those who love me, u re the reason I'm doing this video, the heat yesterday was enough to change ur minds so, I say pls don't listen to them, love u and remain blessed.

Buhari vs Atiku: How presidential election results were rigged – Omokri releases evidence

Posted: 26 Feb 2019 03:13 PM PST

Reno Omokri

The former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has reeled out what he termed evidence to show the 2019 presidential election in Nigeria were rigged.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, had on Monday called for the rejection of the 2019 election outcome, claiming falsification of results.

Omokri, in support of PDP's claim, released evidence on his Twitter page to show that the numbers being announced by INEC do not add up.

The former presidential media aide wrote: "Dear Nigerians, The presidential elections were rigged. I laid out the facts in my series INEC numbers don't add up.

"Numbers being spewed out by INEC don't add up. Turnout was down nationally, but up in insecure states. Borno had 39% turnout. Yobe had 40%. Whereas Abia had 16% turnout and turnout in Akwa-Ibom dropped by 18%. These are statistical impossibility.

"In Akwa-Ibom, where voter turnout was down 18% (compared to 2015), Buhari managed to increase his share of the votes by 34% (compared to his 2015 share). How can turnout be down in Akwa-Ibom and up in Borno/Yobe? It is a statistical impossibility.

"In Lagos and Kano, which are peaceful, fewer people voted. But Yobe saw a REMARKABLE increase in turnout. 76000 more people voted in Yobe this year than in 2015. Are people migrating from peaceful Lagos/Kano to war-torn Yobe? Statistical impossibility.

"Turnout in Kano was down 11% from 2015. INEC has more presence in Kano than Yobe and Borno. Even the Governor of Borno is not safe despite the army that moves with him. Yet, turnout dropped in Kano and rose dramatically in Borno. Statistically impossible.

"In Lagos, turnout was down 28% from 2015. PDP's vote down by 180k. Yet, there was high anticipation for this election in Lagos on both sides. Meanwhile, Zamfara's voter turnout is higher than Lagos. Is banditry conducive to high voter turnout?

"The SE is another matter. Whereas voter turnout was DOWN in the SE, APC share was UP. Abia had 16% turnout, yet Buhari increased his share of Abia vote from 3% to 28%. This is mirrored in other SE states. Not impossible, but very doubtful

"Kogi, where herdsmen have made life hell for the people saw a voter turnout increase of 22% from 2015. Their turnout increase is even higher than Katsina (7%) where Buhari comes from. They did not even use intelligence. Not impossible, but very doubtful."

Buhari won in Ethiope East LGA where the state governorship candidate, Great Ogboru hails from; and Ughelli North LGA where incumbent Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and state APC leader, O'tega Emerhor hail from.

MWC2019:Huawei unveils 5G live networks and foldable phones

Posted: 26 Feb 2019 07:35 AM PST

Ryan Ding
Huawei kicked off this year's Mobile World Congress with its Day0 Forum in Barcelona. With the theme of building a fully connected intelligent world, the forum included industry insights of the latest trends.

At the 5G is ON industry insights, Huawei Executive Director and President of the Carrier Business Group Ryan Ding demonstrated the 4K video-on-demand service on a Huawei 5G foldable smartphone via a Vodafone Spain 5G live network powered by Huawei. This demo showcased the extraordinary Gbit/s-level bandwidth that 5G networks will provide anywhere, anytime.
Ryan Ding said at the demo: "The wave of 5G is sweeping the globe, giving us a better life empowered by new technologies. At the same time, the Gbit/s-level connections enabled by 5G and the monetization of experience fueled by CloudX services give global carriers new business opportunities." He added that Huawei will set up open labs to help its customers experience and innovate in 5G services on their networks in support of their success in the era of 5G.

5G Redefines Video and Gaming through CloudX for Greater Business Opportunities

5G lets people experience Gbit/s-level speeds everywhere with the new Air Fiber solution. Comparable to fiber broadband, Air Fiber increases the bit rates tenfold, an ideal option for carriers to make fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) a reality sooner. 5G lets carriers respond to personal, home, and industry demand for massive bandwidth while expanding their business operations.

The emerging 5G + Cloud combination nurtures new services of greater diversity and redefines video, gaming, and many other services. CloudX is poised to emerge as the main attraction of such 5G services. With powerful features that take the advantage of huge bandwidth, low latency, and cloud computing capabilities, Cloud Gaming brings gaming from dedicated hardware to smartphones. Carriers can now offer their mobile users a premier gaming experience while deriving bigger profits from the experience and content.

5G Matures into an Ecosystem with Huawei Open Labs for New Carrier Services

This year, three 5G open labs will open in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East as Huawei aims to bring the 5G service experience and development to the regions. These open labs are a platform for carriers to experience the latest 5G innovations and a 5G + CloudX environment for them to find partners to explore and nurture new services to cater to local market demand.

In 2019, the global 5G industry and ecosystem race towards maturity. Over 60 commercial networks are set to deploy, and more than 40 5G terminals including smartphone models to launch. The number of countries that have licensed 5G spectrum will top 50. 5G will overtake its predecessor wireless communication technologies in speed of global popularity as it brings us a new series of amazing applications.

The Day0 forum also explored how to inspire new growth in operator business through technological innovation and business model optimization, and how to accelerate the digital transformation towards digital business through digital platforms and services.

MWC 2019 is currently underway till February 28 in Barcelona, Spain.

The Youth Prefers to bank smart with digital channels

Posted: 26 Feb 2019 07:22 AM PST

FNB
Statista.com, the global statistical data portal estimates that the number of smartphone users in South Africa will reach 22 million in 2019. This is in line with FNB's data which indicates an increase in banking via digital channels by young people, especially the Banking App.

According to FNB data, customers between the ages of 22-30 prefer using digital platforms such as online banking or the banking app for personal loan applications. In the last quarter of 2018, of the customers who applied for a personal loan through digital channels, 36% of the applications came from the age group 22 – 30 years old.
Philani Potwana, Product Head at FNB Personal Loans, says, "Young people opt for digital modes of banking primarily because of convenience, however an undisputed contributing factor is that digital platforms are part of their always-on connected lifestyles. FNB prioritised enabling loan take-up, a process that might have been perceived as cumbersome in the past, in a few easy steps on our digital banking platforms. The fact that this age group is using this as their primary loan application channel, reinforces their appreciation for the cost and time effectiveness of digital banking."

Conversely, customers aged between 46-55 still prefer the traditional way of banking and would rather visit a branch to apply for a loan. To bring digital banking and human engagement closer together for all customers, FNB has designated digital zones at branches where customers can bank digitally and get help from a consultant when necessary.

The benefits of banking digitally span further than time and cost effectivity. FNB customers get an all-round view of their finances at their fingertips. The app-based nav» Money gives users insights into their credit status and the tool highlights if a customer is at risk of being overly indebted.

"Customers must be empowered to make sensible financial decisions and our nav» Money tool fulfils exactly this objective. By navigating the tool, customers can get a better sense of their income and expenses, their credit status and their ability to pay debt such as a personal loan. It's important for young people to manage their finances prudently, and a tool such as nav» Money is useful for gauging one's financial status, because as consumers access credit they must also know how to manage it," concludes Potwana.

Buhari vs Atiku: Tinubu Speaks As PDP Rejects Results Of Presidential Polls

Posted: 26 Feb 2019 07:18 AM PST

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has lambasted those who rejected the last Saturday's presidential and parliamentary elections.

Tinubu, who is the Chairman of the APC Presidential Campaign Council said those who rejected the results were not democrats.

Recall that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, had rejected the ongoing results being announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

However, Tinubu while speaking with the Independent Newspaper, in his Alausa residence in Lagos, said those who rejected the outcome of a free and fair election are desperate and don't believe in the principle of Democracy.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, also commended Nigerians for their turnout during the last Saturday's elections.

According to Tinubu: "I commend them because despite the fact that the elections were postponed last week Saturday, they were still excited and ready to cast their votes despite the postponement. There could be frustration and disappointment at one point or the other.

"But we could see that it was not deliberate. We could see that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), as the umpire, gave us very good briefing throughout the week; giving us progress report. That is taking response to bullet. That is being open; that is being honest. We must move ahead; that is what we need in Nigeria and in a democratic society.

"I will say we will accept it; that is peoples' verdict; that is their decision. Any democrats that cannot accept the results of free and fair elections, is not worthy of the name. You must be able to accept the results of a free and fair election.

"They are not democrats. They don't believe in value and philosophy; you will see their desperation and they cannot claim to be democrats."

Sirius Petroleum closing in on financing deal for Ejulebe field work programme

Posted: 26 Feb 2019 07:06 AM PST

Sirius Petroleum

Transaction update and Suspension of the Company's shares

Sirius (AIM: SRSP), the Nigeria-focused oil and gas development and production company, is pleased to announce that it is in advanced stages of discussions on funding which will enable it to conclude a funding facility to be deployed towards the execution of a minimum work programme commitment on the Ejulebe field (the "Transaction").

The Transaction was conditional upon, among other things, Sirius having arranged for debt funding to be provided to fund certain capital expenditure on the Ejulebe field.  The proposed debt provider views the Transaction positively and has agreed that the Transaction should now proceed on the basis that Sirius be both the borrower and guarantor of the proposed facility.

The effect of these arrangements is that the transaction would now constitute a reverse take- over under Rule 14 of the AIM Rules for Companies and would be subject to Shareholders' approval. In accordance with the AIM Rules, the Company's shares have been suspended from trading on AIM with immediate effect and will remain suspended until an AIM admission document has been published or until the Company confirms that the Transaction is not proceeding. A further announcement will be made as and when appropriate.

OML 109

As announced on 4 December 2018, the Transaction is potentially transformational for Sirius.  OML 109 is located approximately 30km due south of OML 95, where the Ororo field is located. Encompassing 191,000 acres or 773 square kilometres, the OML 109 block has only been addressed with three exploration wells in its entire history, the first in 1966. Extensive oil and gas infrastructure exists in and around the block, including that of the Ejulebe field.

The Ejulebe field comprises some 15 hydrocarbon-bearing horizons, producing oil, associated and non-associated gas (including condensate). The field has produced approximately 14 mmbbls since 1998, is currently producing c.250 bbl/d and has gross remaining 2P reserves of 4.7 mmbbls, according to a competent person's report prepared by PanTerra Geoconsultants in December 2017 (the "CPR").

The EJ-WSW and EJ-SW exploration prospects, which according to the CPR contain respectively gross unrisked P50 prospective resources of 32-38 mmboe and 32-53 mmboe are close to the Ejulebe field and are expected to have similar reservoir characteristics to the Ejulebe field. All resource terms as defined by the Society of Petroleum Engineers - Petroleum Resources Management System.

The wider OML 109 "Joint Exploration and Development Area" contains prospects and leads that have been ascribed gross unrisked P50 prospective resources of 266mmboe, according to a Resource Review completed by PanTerra Geoconsultants in February 2018.
