According to PEOPLE, the newly wedded music star is going through a rough patch but is getting all the help he needs. "Justin seems down and tired. He has been struggling a bit," a Bieber source says, adding that the 24-year-old pop star's difficulties aren't related to his recent marriage to Hailey Baldwin.  "It has nothing to do with Hailey — he is very happy being married to her. It's just something else that he struggles with mentally. He has good help around him and is receiving some treatment. He seems confident he will feel better soon," the source added. Another source also confirmed to PEOPLE that he is undergoing counselling. While another source revealed that Justin Bieber is struggling with the idea of fame. "He started off as a typical sweet, Canadian teen. He was such a great kid, honestly super sweet and very polite and nice to everyone around him. Having this huge amount of fame completely changed him," the source says. Under the umbrellas of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), the likes of Jide Kosoko, Yinka Quadri, Ayo Adesanya, Bolaji Amusan, Lasun Ray and Yemi Solade and other gathered en masse to present a cheque for Next level campaign.  At the event, Babatunde Raji Fashola, Nigeria's minister of works, power, and housing, was presented the actors' choice candidate in collecting the cheque. Report has it that 21 savage was arrested after by U.S immigration after they discovered he is a British citizen living in the US illegally. ICE held 21 Savage in the state of Georgia for being unlawfully present in the US and for being a felon. He was convicted of drugs charges in 2014. However, the rapper was released from custody on Tuesday after being detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Atlanta. According to DailyMail, the decision to release the rapper came during a closed-door hearing 21 Savage's lawyers issued the following statement following his release: "For the past 9 long days, we, on behalf of She'yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, known to the world as 21 Savage, have been speaking with ICE to both clarify his actual legal standing, his eligibility for bond, and provide evidence of his extraordinary contributions to his community and society. "In the last 24 hours, in the wake of the Grammy Awards at which he was scheduled to attend and perform, we received notice that She'yaa was granted an expedited hearing. "Today, 21 Savage was granted a release on bond. He won his freedom. NAN reports that the private sale took place on Twitter following a call by Lola Shoneyin, an author, for collectors to purchase the vintage copy. Shoneyin, who is well-known for her book 'The Secret Lives of Baba Segi's Wives', tweeted the sale via Twitter on Sunday. "Hey, book collectors! My friend is selling a first print, first edition copy of 'Things Fall Apart' for N1m. Reply here and she will contact you." Fans of Achebe's work took to the comment section to praise the work, with some placing bids. However, she announced hours later that the book had been bought by an anonymous buyer. She said, "The book has been bought by an anonymous buyer." Achebe was a Nigerian novelist, poet, professor, and critic. 'Things Fall Apart', his first novel, is often considered his best.  'Things Fall Apart' was published in 1958; its story chronicles pre-colonial life in the south-eastern part of Nigeria and the arrival of the Europeans during the late nineteenth century. Nigeria Electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Tuesday, said, that a total of 4,695 card readers were destroyed in the fire that gutted the containers, where they were kept at the Anambra State office.The Election body, also revealed that it will mop up spare card readers in other states for use in the Anambra.Mr. Festus Okoye, the Chairman of INEC's committee on Information and Voter Education, in a statement said: "While the Commission awaits the details of the latest incident, it notes with some relief that there was no fatality or injury reported."Initial assessment, however, confirms that a total of 4,695 smart card readers were destroyed in the inferno."While this is no doubt, a setback to our preparations, for the smooth conduct of the elections in Anambra State, the Commission has taken immediate measures to ameliorate the situation by mopping up some of the spare card readers from other states to deploy to Anambra State."In This Story: #INECAnambraOfficeFire #CardReaders Sharing is caring. In the viral video clip, the lady identified as Lorraine Guyo from Harare in Zimbabwe, was recorded pleading with men to propose to her before the 14th of February (Valentine's Day) as she did not want to be single on the day. The beautiful lady who was sacked from her work after the video went viral but was later called back, has opened up on the fiasco. "This is one of the many videos I've recorded. It's just that this one made it's way to the public but I've many of them. I'm very passionate about acting and recording my skits. "I recorded this particular one as a joke for Valentine's Day. Sadly, there were people who didn't understand that it was a joke and blew the whole issue out of proportion." "I don't know who put my number on social media. I received 7 000 messages on WhatsApp and actually had to block my Econet line as my phone was now crashing. These (messages) were from men who had liked what they had seen and wanted to be my Valentine's dates." She has since apologized via her Facebook page where she agreed to be the one who recorded the video but denied to be the one who posted nude videos, alleging that it was someone else. | OGUN APC RALLY: Tinubu Speaks On Throwing Away APC Flag & Threat Of Leaving Party Posted: 12 Feb 2019 03:26 PM PST  The National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has said he has no plans to leave the party for any other as being insinuated.At the APC Presidential Campaign rally in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Tinubu was seen as he threw away the party's flag away and also seen visibly shouting at the Ogun State Governor. Ibikunle Amosun.
But in a statement on Tuesday night by his Special Adviser, Media, Tunde Rahman, the APC leader denied rubbishing the party's symbol.He said he only threw it to the National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole to give to the party's governorship candidate in the state, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) framed it to mean he was throwing away the party's flag.The statement reads in full:
"With but a few precious days until the election and with its chance of victory running out even faster than the time, the Peoples Democratic Party now grasps at the most nonsensical and desperate tactics to salvage its falling enterprise. However, a drowning man cannot toss himself a lifeline. "Nor can the PDP succeed in turning the innocuous attempted exchange of a flag between the National Leader and National Chairman into a rift in the APC's successful campaign. "An incident did actually occur at the Ogun State APC rally but it is not the one PDP has concocted. The true incident that should be reported and condemned is that people who furtively oppose the party and the president tried to infiltrate and disrupt this rally. The attack by these operatives was disrespectful of the office of the president and could have potentially harmed the person of the president. "Such antics have no place in our political discourse. The author of these misdeeds should desist before real harm is done. Now to the crux of the opposition's latest antics. If the issue of the flag has become the hotspot of the PDP campaign, then they are in serious trouble. "During that portion of the Ogun rally, the National Chairman and others were looking for a party flag. Asiwaju Tinubu spotted one within his reach. He picked it up and attempted to toss it to Chairman Oshiomhole so that the Chairman could present it to the party's gubernatorial candidate Prince Dapo Abiodun. "If you want to fault Asiwaju for anything in this matter, your critique can only be limited to the accuracy of his toss. Any attempt to enlarge the episode beyond this is fiction and mischief writ large. "As the National Leader, Asiwaju Tinubu is thoroughly faithful and committed to the APC. It is unthinkable that he would leave the party. Moreover, there is no reason for him to do so. He has been hard at work for the victory of the APC and all of its candidates in the upcoming election. "Asiwaju understands the bigger picture. He knows what is at stake in this election. Either the nation moves forward along the progressive path of the APC or it will be forced to retreat into the ills of the past created by the PDP. With the nation's future hanging in the balance, Asiwaju will not allow himself to be deterred by petty mischief. "Those spinning this matter should make better use of their imaginations. Asiwaju is not going anywhere. He remains gidigba (solid) in APC. And after the election, he will be there celebrating the APC's and this nation's victory over those who would prevent us our rightful future". Barely four days to the presidential election, the General Overseer of Evangelical Bible Outreach Ministries Int'l (EBOMI), Prophet Isa El-Buba, on Tuesday predicted that President Muhammadu Buhari will lose the election to his Peoples Democratic Party's counterpart, Atiku Abubakar.Prophet El-Buba stated this while addressing journalists in Jos, the Plateau State capital.According to a Daily Post report; the Prophet said, "I know that the strongest soldiers are not the Nigeria Army and its not the police force, but the Nigerian people."The Nigerian people will surely protect their votes and if the President loses the election, he will have no option than to go to Daura."And if he presses on with what they have put on ground, to make sure that they stay in power; the Nigerian people will do the needful, and I will say that we know the things that will be done to get the president accept the result of the election," he maintained."With what is on ground in the country, I have transversed the entire nation, I have seen the heartbeat of ordinary people and I can tell you this, that the President will lose this election. "If you recall, what happened in 2015, President Buhari rode on state of the nation. "The truth of the matter is the entire North gave a block vote to Mr. President, the South-West also gave him strong votes. But this time around, the North itself, Buhari will not get 50 percent of the votes and in the South-West he will not get more than 45 percent of the votes there. "And in the South-East, he will hardly get 20 percent of the votes, also in the South-South probably 20 percent; while in the North-Central lets say 45 percent. "In Kano, where he got his highest votes, he cannot get more than 50 percent, also in Kaduna especially with the attitude of the present Governor of the State, Nasir El-Rufai, with the Shii'te movement, surely he not going to get more than 40 percent of the votes in the state. He lamented that about 90 million Nigerians are currently leaving below poverty level in the country, especially people from the North-East, who had hope that a Buhari presidency would wipe away their pains and sorrow, but that wasn't the situation. "As I said in 2015, it was a whole different game, so also in 2019, it will be a whole different game; and it's because of the incompetence of the administration. "I ask you, where is Aisha Buhari, within this whole period from the time she flagged off her own campaign and suddenly disappeared from the scene? She is nowhere. "The disenchantment is not just about the person, but is about the cabal that have cloud this man are they once pushing him; the man is not fit to lead this country. Look at the blunders allover this country," he stressed. Speaking on the incumbent Governor of Plateau State Simon Lalong, the General Overseer said, the Governor came in through protest in 2015, against the candidate of the then ruling party, "and it was not like Lalong won, we know the truth". He said Lalong will also lose the March 2, governorship election to Jeremiah Useni, not because of anything, but because of the way he has gone along with those oppressing his people, "and giving them wings to fly." According to the comedian, the first step to guarantee progress in any Nation is by promoting peace. In quite a lengthy post, she described people in this century as a generation that don't want real relationship. According to her, social media has taken over true bonding and it has caused lack of sincerity, betrayals, depression, and what nots. She posted this picture to emphasize her point, in which she wrote:  "21st Century, the generation that doesn't want real relationship. We want that social media relationship that everyone can like and comment on. True bonding are very hard now because, we now converse via DM, Ping, WhatsApp etc and epistle is our new way of expressing our feelings or appreciating people. A lot of relationship has died because we now have better relationship with our phones than with people. We invest more time into our Instagram profile than we do with our lives. We celebrate our friends/family's birthdays without knowing how the 365 days that lead up to them was. Family meetings are now been held via Video calls and WhatsApp group conversations. People come to social media to write a long epistle for eachother, claiming WORLD'S BEST for them. When in actual sense, they know they are nothing close to COMMUNITY'S BEST and their intentions are not to filter them as good, but to impress social media audience. There's no relationship without social media anymore and that's why relationships are no longer sincere; everything is now for the gram😥. We've forgotten that, the best thing to hold on to in life is eachother👠and that's one of the reasons why depression is getting common☹️. We've built a wall around ourselves against our family and love ones. We share our burdens with riddles on social media instead of talking it out with someone. It has worsen to the extent that, someone about to commit suicide will take to Instagram story to write their suicide note. I understand it's hard to find a trustworthy person these days but you still have to trust someone! If you trust them and they betrayed your trust, then it's not your problem anymore it's theirs. Let them live the rest of their life with the burden of betrayal. The best place to lean on is eachother's shoulders. Don't let social media steal your love ones from you cuz NOTHING CAN SAVE US FROM DEATH BUT LOVE COULD AT LEAST SAVE US FROM LIFE". | Visa launches fintech fast-track program in Africa Posted: 12 Feb 2019 10:26 AM PST  Visa has just announced it is expanding its fast-track program to support fintechs in the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMEA) region as part of its efforts in developing the next generation of digital payment solutions. Already rolled out in Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific, the program provides innovative fintechs with a faster and easier integration process with VisaNet, Visa's global network, in addition to a suite of tailored digital solutions and growth capabilities. With the Visa Fast-Track program, fintechs based in CEMEA can now onboard to Visa's global network in as little as four weeks. The program has been tailored to the needs of fintechs, adapting to their realities and providing them with processes that are faster, which include reducing the number of onboarding conditions. The program also links fintechs to platforms that are already certified by Visa and connects fintechs to sponsoring banks, providing fintechs with scaling opportunities through Visa's global network. Andrew Torre, Regional President, CEMEA, Visa, said, "The payments ecosystem is evolving at an unprecedented pace with some of the most exciting innovations coming from our region. We are actively engaged with passionate, entrepreneurial communities to understand where synergies exist in order to foster and bring new experiences to life in a secure and scalable manner in our pursuit of a digital future. Our aim is to connect new players and ideas with our network partners, so that we can deliver intuitive and relevant payment, banking and retail experiences to customers and merchants." The Fintech Fast-Track program provides a new commercial framework that includes access to Visa's payment capabilities, reduced fees and streamlined processes. After successful launches in in Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific in the second half of 2018, the program is now available to fintechs in CEMEA. The Fast-Track program is one of several Visa initiatives designed to support fintech and startup companies. These include: · Investment: Visa continuously evaluates and invests in companies that have the potential to advance digital payments for our clients and their customers. Recent fintech investments globally have included Klarna, Paidy, Marqeta and PayStack in Nigeria. · Partnership: Many payment platforms and fintechs are already collaborating with Visa globally to create new consumer and merchant experiences, including YellowPepper, NovoPayment, Stripe, Conductor, Flutterwave andRevolut. · Engagement: Visa's Everywhere Initiative, a global innovation program that tasks startups with solving some of the most challenging issues in payments and commerce, has been running in CEMEA since 2017. After months of speculation, FNB has finally unveiled their soon-to-be-released mobile offering under the FNB Connect. FNB has announced that its customers who use FNB Connect can now benefit from free data rollover and data transfer, in addition to the existing data depletion and out of bundle notifications. The development is in alignment with the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) requirements on data expiry and data transfer for all mobile network providers. Len Pienaar, FNB Connect CEO says, "We are providing an option for a free roll over of data near the expiry date for use in the following month. Customers who are on FNB Connect can also transfer data to one another, which is a major benefit for households. This is part of FNB's efforts to help customers make their money go further by enabling them to monitor and control their monthly data spend." In addition, customers will receive depletion notifications when their data usage is at 50%, 80% and 100%, allowing them to actively track and manage usage. To promote transparency, customers are requested to provide consent before being charged out of bundle data rates and have the option to buy a new bundle. "We believe that the combination of free data rollover, data transfer, depletion notices and consent on out-of-bundle usage adds significant value to FNB customers," says Pienaar. "Data and airtime form an important part of every household's monthly budget, therefore it's critical to empower customers to be in control of usage.
