KNG Health Seeking Researcher for its Healthcare Reform and Payment Innovation Practice Posted: 15 Apr 2019 07:07 AM PDT KNG Health has an opening for a Research Associate in its Healthcare Reform and Payment Innovation practice. They are seeking candidates with strong quantitative skills, experience with programming in Stata (experience in SAS, R, Python, and VBA also welcome), and a Master's degree (economics, mathematics, statistics, physics, or similar fields) or 3-5 years relevant experience. Candidates without a Master's degree but who possess strong research and programming skills may also be considered. Candidates should also have strong communication and writing skills. Ideal candidate will also have some knowledge of Medicare payment systems and experience working with Medicare claims data. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of healthcare reform and payment innovation policies, including modeling innovative state and federal proposals that impact health insurance coverage and estimating the impact of regulatory and legislative proposals on hospitals and other healthcare providers. Researchers have opportunities to publish their work and present at national health policy conferences. In the last 3 years, KNG Health researchers have published papers in American Journal of Medical Quality, Health Affairs, Journal of Medical Economics, ClinicoEconomics and Outcomes Research, Journal of Arthroplasty, Journal for Healthcare Quality, Health Services Research, Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, Foot & Ankle International.
