According to PageSix, the TV show star has been struggling to keep up with her marriage to Kelvin Hunter which has been embroiled with infidelity accusations. There have been reports of Kelvin Hunter's relationship with his mistress, Sharina Hudson and there has been the rumours of the two welcoming a child together. Kelvin Hunter and Sharina Hudson have been alleged to be in a relationship which has spanned over 10 years. This relationship has affected Wendy Williams to the point where it has gotten a better part of her health, says PageSix. According to PageSix, Williams and Hunter are exploring what a separation would look like, even though he remains her long-time manager. They are both partners in Wendy Williams Productions, the company that produces her popular daytime show. "There is a discussion about what happens now — everyone is asking, 'How can they possibly stay together?' Wendy still loves Kevin, but her health is at stake. They are so tangled up together in business, so they are carefully looking at what a separation could entail. It will be difficult," sources close to PageSix revealed. On March 15, 2019, star singer, Kizz Daniel released his latest single and it was curiously titled, 'Fvck You.' Coming off what the rising success of the pro-consent single, 'Madu' the baby-faced pop star blindsided many with his calculated, rude and foul mouthed giveaway single 'Fvck You.' Running on the smooth guitar riff-tinged Young John-produced 90BPM beat, the Flyboy Inc. boss plays the role of an angry and hurt lover who discovers that his lover has been highly unfaithful. In truth, the song was destined to resonate with the social media generation of millennials to whom discussions on infidelity have become a staple. An extension of this also includes the concept of body shaming, which this song is made up of. Relatable message that resonates with the audience While he was always going to rustle a few feathers, in all honesty, no amount of false, hypocritical claims of slut-shaming could knock Kizz off this horse. He's like a knight in the blood game of 'jousting' looking to knock anyone down with the power of the internet. The Kizz Daniel's tale of heartbreak is relatable. The bulk of his target audience have been on the wrong end of heartbreak, disrespect and infidelity at some point in their lives, some more than once. Virality and impressive promotion Last year, multi-talented performer, Falz and superstar, Wizkid underlined the power of good promotion/rollouts with their respective singles, 'Sweet Boy' and 'Fever.' For the former, Falz literally started a movement for the song that ignited conversations across Nigerian pop culture. Johnson, 36, was reportedly accidentally shot when police officers were trying to arrest another man because of his dreadlocks in the Mangoro area of Lagos State on Sunday, March 31, 2019. The spokesperson of the Lagos command, Bala Elkana, told Premium Times on Monday, April 1, that the incident will be "thoroughly investigated" and the findings made public. Johnson's friend, Dennis Ikpoba, told Premium Times that people had gathered around the officers while they attempted to arrest one Ismail Folorunsho who appeared to have been unfairly targeted by the law enforcement officers who arrived the scene in an unpainted Danfo bus. According to a witness who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Johnson was one of the people who gathered to assure the officers of Folorunsho's innocence when they shot to disperse the crowd. "In an attempt to disperse the crowd, a first shot was fired to the ground. Seeing this, I and the others quickly turned back to avoid trouble, but because Kunle was probably the last person in the crowd, he was shot point blank from behind. "He didn't even know he was shot till we had trekked some few metres before we all saw he was bleeding, he died on his way to the hospital at Ikeja," the witness said. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital shortly afterwards as the officers fled the scene for fear of being lynched by a mob which soon gathered and blocked the roads around the area. SACS has grown notorious for indiscriminate raids and arrests in Nigeria's economic capital as officers target mostly young people they suspect of wrongdoing without any concrete evidence, including their manner of dressing and hairstyle. These arrests grew more prominent when the state's former Police Commissioner, Edgal Imohimi, upped the ante on the fight against cultism in the state. Johnson's killing fuels outcry for Police reform Johnson's unfortunate killing on Sunday has led to a resurgence of the outrage against the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) who, although not responsible for the recent killing, have become the face of police brutality and impunity in the country due to past conducts. Many Nigerians have taken to social media to air their displeasure with Johnson's killing and called for the scrapping of FSARS, as well as the implementation of meaningful police reform to curb brutality unleashed on helpless citizens. One of the biggest campaigners for police reform in the country, Segun Awosanya, took to his Twitter account (segalink) on Sunday to call on legislators to urgently pass a police reform bill for assent to prevent the death of more Nigerians. "We will implore the @SPNigeria @NGRSenate to prioritize the passing of the #NewPoliceActBill for the assent of the President. We can't continue to watch our young die while we pursue the cure to symptoms. We need this urgently. #ReformPoliceNG," he posted. On March 22, 2019, Burna released a relative surprise EP, 'Steel and Copper' with American production duo, DJDS. The EP had four songs and the final two of those four songs were, 'Darko' and 'Thuggin.' The EP became the subject of positive reviews and welcome reactions from listeners and fans alike. Burma Boy seems dedicated to make 2019 his most creative year yet. With the release of the collaborative EP with DJDS 'Steel and Copper' still fresh out of the booth, the afro fusion artiste has released a short film for two tracks off the EP 'Thuggin' and 'Darko.' The short film tells a sad tale of gang violence and its consequences. The video opens with 'Thuggin' and we follow Burna through the motions of being a caretaker and gang banger and seamlessly transition into 'Darko'. Even though there's a slightly different undertone to this part of the video, with a slightly more celebratory feel, the message isn't lost. The comedian, moments ago, took to social media to give thanks to God for sparing his life in the accident.
In a photo shared on his Instagram page, the frontal side of the car could be seen totally damaged in the accident that was caused by an apparent brake failure. | Steer clear of malicious programs pretending to be TV shows Posted: 01 Apr 2019 12:01 PM PDT  Cybercriminals are actively using new episodes of popular TV shows to distribute malware, research by Kaspersky Lab has found. Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Arrow are the shows receiving the most attention from attackers. These and other findings are published in a new report, 'Game of Threats: How cybercriminals use popular TV shows to spread malware.' TV shows are one of the most popular and universal types of entertainment, yet with the rise of torrents, online streaming, and other methods of digital distribution, they often suffer from copyright infringement. In many regions, such programs can now be consumed through illegal channels, such as torrent-trackers and illegal streaming platforms. Unlike legitimate resources, torrent trackers and hosted files may send a user a file that looks like an episode of a TV show but is in fact malware with a similar name. Seeing how easily TV shows downloaded from illegitimate resources can be replaced with malware-carrying versions, Kaspersky lab researchers took a closer look at such compromised files, covering both 2018 and 2017. Leading the list in both years was Game of Thrones. In 2018, it accounted for 17% of all infected pirated content, with 20,934 attacked users, followed by The Walking Dead, with 18,794, and Arrow, with 12,163. This is despite the fact that in 2018, there were no new episodes of Game of Thrones released, while the other shows in the ranking were accompanied by high profile promotional campaigns. In every case observed, the malware distributors opted for the first and the last episode of each season, with the launch episode the most actively used, for example, Game of Throne's 'The winter is coming' episode in Season 1. "We can see clearly that malware distributors exploit TV shows that are in high demand on pirated websites: these are usually actively promoted dramas or action series. The first and final episodes, attracting the most viewers, are likely to be at greatest risk of malicious spoofing. Online fraudsters tend to exploit people's loyalty and impatience, so may promise brand new material for download that is, in fact, a cyberthreat. Keeping in mind that the final season of Game of Thrones starts this month, we would like to warn users that it is highly likely there will be a spike in the amount of malware disguised as new episodes of this show," said Anton V. Ivanov, the security researcher at Kaspersky Lab. To avoid falling victim to malicious programs pretending to be TV-shows, Kaspersky Lab recommends taking the following steps:

The facility will include a 20 seater ICT Centre and Teachers common area. In addition, the MTN Ghana Foundation partnered with Huawei Ghana to deploy fibre broadband to provide internet service for the school. The library which will provide over 2,000 students with access to textbooks, research material and electronic books from reputable databases and publishers was constructed at a cost of USD $112 487,64. CEO of MTN Ghana, Selorm Adadevoh said, "the main function of a school library is to develop the reading and research habits of students. It basically fills an information gap and helps to open the world view of students." "One day, I believe we will read about some great Ghanaians from this school that have innovated to impact the lives of many. This greatness will not only be linked to Ghana, not only to Africa but the whole world and I hope that we can attribute a part of that to the launch of this modern library facility and ICT centre today," he added. Oke in her claims alleges that the rapper took a part of her song in and used it in his new song, Undertaker, which was released on February 29. In a chat with The Punch, Eleyele fumed that she would make a scapegoat of Lil Kesh. She said,  "His manager called me and told me they wanted to use my song and I told them I didn't understand. I told them that they should discuss whatever they wanted with my lawyer. Later, my lawyer told me that they had called him and that he told them not to use the song. A week later, Lil Kesh's song was released. I think they had already used the song before they called us. We have been trying to reach him since then. My lawyer wrote to them stating that we were ready to go to court, but we couldn't find his office address; so, we had to post the letter on social media. The action by the pastor, never went down well with catholic families who were present and who made up 50% of guests to witness the wedding solemnization, prompted immediate negative reactions even among members of the NKST family who condemned the development . In a chat wit some of the guests, most were of the view that, such laws were out dated especially now that Christianity was facing challenge of unity and if NKST was introducing segregation laws, it was regrettable. Onnoghen is being tried on a six count charge in which he is accused of breaching the code of conduct for public officers for allegedly failing to declare his assets. Led in evidence by lead defence lawyer, Adegboyega Awomolo (SAN), Busari gave details of how he drove his boss, the defendant, to the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) office on July 28, 2010, to obtain the assets declaration form and how he paid N200 for the defendants' assets declaration on November 3, 2010. When Awomolo moved to tender the receipt issued Busari for the N200, lead prosecution lawyer, Aliyu Umar (SAN), objected to it being admitted by the tribunal. Umar doubted the authenticity of the receipt on the grounds that the "revenue number did not appear on it." He added that since the witnesses was not the maker of the document, he was not the proper person to tender it. The defence said, by the testimony of the witness, it sought to puncture the prosecution's charge that the defendant did not declare his assets from 2005 and 2016. Busari, who said he is 60 years old, described himself as the Chief Driver/Mechanic at the Supreme Court. He said, while with Onnoghen at the CCB office on July 28, 2010, the suspended CJN also asked him to obtain his own assets declaration form, which he did. Details shortly. Tragedy struck on Olu Aboderin Street, Onipetesi area of Lagos State, on Sunday as Special Anti-Robbery Squad operatives of the Lagos State Police Command allegedly shot dead an unidentified young man. The operatives stormed an eatery in the area to arrest a man, who was watching a live English Premiership League football match between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.  According to a source, the victim who was a friend to the arrested man, challenged the operatives on why they would take away his friend and one of the SARS personnel allegedly shot him dead. It was gathered that angry youths blocked the two sides of the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway and set up bonfires, causing traffic gridlock in the process. The victim, who was rushed to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, was pronounced dead on arrival Reacting to the development, Adesua Etomi who is quite fed up with happenings in the country has called out SARS for killing Kolade Johnson, the man who was shot while watching football yesterday. The actress who lent her voice to the viral campaign to get justice for the deceased, disclosed that she is so sick of a government that turns deaf ears to the cries of it's people. SARS operatives in Lagos allegedly killed a young boy while watching a football match in Lagos, after he was hit by a stray bullet. According to reports, the sad incident happened Sunday afternoon at Olu Aboderin Street, Onipetesi, Lagos State. The boy was reportedly watching the just concluded Liverpool FC match. According to one Emenike, who witnessed the incident, the officers had come to the area to arrest a guy on dreadlocks. He alleged that they started shooting sporadically after the arrest, only for one of the bullets to hit the boy. The victim was subsequently rushed to the general hospital in Ikeja, where he was confirmed dead. Obasanjo rued that many of the PDP leaders are still preoccupied with what ministers to "their pockets and stomach," wondering why some of them left the party while others lost hope the seconds the results of 2019 Presidential election were announced. The elder statesman spoke on Sunday evening, when the Southwest PDP leaders led by the party's National Vice Chairman (South West), Dr Eddy Olafeso, visited him at his Pent-House Residence within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, Ogun State. In attendance at the meeting are; Senate Minority Leader, Biodun Olujimi, Senators-elect, Oyo South, Kola Balogun, Ondo Central, Ayo Akinyelure, Rep-elect (Ibarapa North and Central), Hon Ajibola Muraina, former Osun State Governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, former Minister for State for Defence, Erelu Olusola Obada and PDP gubernatorial candidate in Ekiti State 2018 election, Prof Olusola Eleka, Obasanjo told his guests that Nigerian situation demands a vibrant voice and opposition in PDP to engender a virile democracy. The former Head of States also bemoaned the failure of leadership in the country, saying Nigeria can't move forward "if we continue the way we are." Obasanjo whose Coalition for Nigerian Movement (CNM) failed to provide a formidable force to unhorse President Muhammadu Buhari and his the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the centre, advised PDP to purge itself of "hypocrites and bad eggs." He noted that the purging exercise would put the party on a higher pedestal to scout for those he called "critical mass of committed people," who "would be ready to stand with the party come rain, come shine." Obasanjo said: "I knew PDP would lose election in 2015 because it was clear. And I knew PDP will need to be rebuilt after losing the election. "You need what I call critical mass of committed people, and come rain, come shine they are committed. With that, you can make Nigeria better. "You see peoples' faces beautiful but you don't know what each person harbours inside of him. If you discover a bad egg, remove such a person. And if such person has learnt his or her lessons there can still be room to accommodate the person. "Politically speaking, you can't be my friend if you don't buy into the Nigeria's project. For me, till death, I will continue to push for a better Nigeria. The lawmaker, representing Surulere I Federal Constituency, Lagos State, said in Abuja that he was joining the race as a "beacon of hope". The fifth-term House member, who is of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), also ran for the position in 2015. He lost to incumbent Yakubu Dogara. With its overwhelming majority in the Green Chamber, the APC is expected to produce the speaker. According to the lawmaker, he is contesting as "a symbol of encouragement and point of contact for the many young men and women out there who believe that with hard work and commitment, whatever the mind can conceive is possible". He is contesting for speaker to bring government closer to the people and to "galvanise federal lawmakers to make life more abundant for Nigerians". Gbajabiamila said: "We are not where we ought to be, considering the abundance of talents and the blessings from God. However, I am rest assured that slowly but surely we will get there. "It is because of this unshakeable belief in the potential and genius of Nigeria and the majesty of our democracy that I, today, after wide consultations with my colleagues, friends, family, party and stakeholders and in total submission to the will of God, formally declare my intention to seek the position of the office of the speaker of the Ninth Assembly and offer my service to the nation in this capacity. "With all sense of humility, I seek this office with a rich legislative background and pedigree and having just won a historic fifth term mandate to the House. He said: "We rely on the advice of the party, not peculiar to us alone, but why is it that when it comes to us we are not likely to follow? We must bring back the practice. "Without being immodest, he (Gbajabiamila) stands out the best. He has experience, brilliance, astuteness, building relationships, bridges etc. We will not take things for granted because within and without, others are interested. Jibrin said that Gbajabiamila's Campaign Organisation "won't throw muds, no rumours, no blackmail; we plead, for the interest of the country and we'll run a clean and issue-based campaign. "Since everyone is qualified, we will lobby and campaign and win hearts. How do you explain a minority aspiring to be speaker? What if a majority party vied for minority leadership, sponsored and supported by us, how would it be? "But we'll engage them and a large number of them are convinced that today, they may be in minority but tomorrow night be in the majority. So, they'll reason for the need to protect the institution. "They should come and join us and I guarantee Gbaja will be a Speaker for all and ensure the independence and interdependence of the legislature," Jibrin said. Da'u Aliyu Magaji, who moderated the event, said that over 170 members across party lines from the House attended the event. Many members, including former Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and member-elect from Yobe State, Hajia Khadijah Abba-Ibrahim, attended. The former minister said: "We are compliant. To me, whatever the party asks us to do stands because party supremacy supersedes anything personal. "This man has shown himself that indeed there is no other deserving lawmaker. I appeal to my colleagues to support the party's decision over his candidacy." Wole Oke (PDP, Osun) said Nigeria is at a critical stage and members should consider issues and national interest. The opposition lawmaker said: "I can't see any other lawmaker more qualified than him in the House. He knows the job and is a fair minded person, a networker. I'll be with him all through." Hassan Ado Doguwa, the Chief Whip of the House, described Jibrin, who is Gbajabiamila's Director-General as the "game changer". He noted that he (Jibrin) was a figure that was not totally reckoned with in 2015. "He is a button we didn't press well in 2015. This is an upright decision by the party as Femi has always played a key role in managing the affairs of the National Assembly. "He is an experienced lawmaker and a team player. | Air Force probes flogging of bandits by personnel Posted: 01 Apr 2019 05:47 AM PDT  The Nigerian Air Force(NAF) has launched an investigation into a video currently in circulation where its personnel were seen flogging bandits in Zamfara State. The NAF not only condemned the behaviour of the military personnel but confirmed that some of its personnel were part of the joint operations going on in Zamfara State to flush out bandits. A statement by the spokesman of the Air Force, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, said a Board of Inquiry had been instituted on the matter, promising that those culpable would not go unpunished. Air Commodore Daramola said: "The attention of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has been drawn to a video and some pictures circulating on some social media and online platforms showing some military personnel flogging suspected armed bandits at Shinkafi Local Government Area in Zamfara State. "The NAF has discovered that some of its personnel were part of the joint team stationed at the Galadi Sub-Sector at the time. "The joint team had, sequel to intelligence reports, intercepted a group of suspected armed bandits, including some fighters from across the border, at their Sububu Forest hideout whilst they were on the verge of executing an attack against innocent civilians in Shinkafi. In the process, the team recovered one AK-47 rifle along with 3 loaded magazines and 3 dane guns from the bandits. " In an effort to obtain further information on the criminals' plans and the location of their armoury, the troops employed unauthorised, crude corporal methods. "The NAF wishes to state unequivocally that the troops' actions of flogging and physically assaulting the disarmed suspects were totally unacceptable and not in consonance with the Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs) guiding the conduct of the operation. "Our personnel have always been directed to respect the rights of innocent civilians as well as captured combatants, no matter the provocation. "The public is to please note that the NAF has zero tolerance for such human rights violations and has since initiated appropriate action to address the anomaly. "In this regard, a Board of Inquiry (BOI) has been set up by the Headquarters Special Operations Command (HQ SOC) to determine the remote and immediate causes of the incident with a view to ensuring that appropriate disciplinary action is taken against all NAF personnel found culpable. The public will be kept informed on the outcome of the investigations. " The NAF, as an organisation, wishes to state that it remains a professional fighting force that will continue to operate within the ambits of all relevant laws and procedures, as well as in line with international best practices, whilst remaining fully accountable to the Nigerian people. | Panic in Ogun community as farmer kills two Posted: 01 Apr 2019 05:22 AM PDT  The residents of agrarian community of Iwoye-Yewa in Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State are now living in panic. It followed threats by a farmer to kill eight more people after he had shot dead two members of the community last Wednesday. The grieving community claimed that the farmer identified as Oladosu Nureni allegedly shot the victims – Ajayi Onifade, who until his killing, was the Amuludun of Iwoyeland and Olatunji Ayinla, at different locations. The Nation learnt that Nureni, whose house is located few buildings away from that of the late Onifade, shot the victim at close range when he was on his way to farm. Ayinla, who was part of a search team for the suspect, was, however, shot dead by Nureni during a manhunt for him. It was learnt that Onifade did not die at the scene of attack. He was rescued and taken to the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta for treatment, but died last Friday. Onifade's eldest child, Seyi, told reporters that the case has been reported at the Ilaro Divisional Police Headquarters, Ilaro, and wondered why the suspect has not yet arrested by the police. Seyi urged the police to act fast and apprehend the suspect, alleging that his conduct portends further danger to the community as he kept threatening to deal ruthlessly with anybody, who dared to be part of the search party for him. But, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Ogun State, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said he was not aware of the incident when contacted. Oyeyemi told reporters on phone that he was on his way to Abeokuta from Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, promising to inquire about it from the Ilaro Divisional Police headquarters and revert accordingly.
