According to Khloe, she had a sleepless night, waiting for her queen, Rihanna, to show up on the red carpet. The waiting was to no avail and she found it humiliating and frustrating but she was also thankful to Rap artiste, Cardi B for bringing he heat and not making it an entirely fruitless night for her. She wrote: I don't want to get mad and don't want to cry . But f it @badgalriri, wtf was that stunt you pulled last night ? No freaking MET GALA ? Really ? Following Ademola's arrest last night, Davido said he gives up on democracy and went on several rants on Instagram. However, some of his fans and friends expressed concern over Davido's safety. In response, Davido is back on social media, saying nothing can happen. According to him, the new governor-elect of Osun state is his uncle and he would do anything to make sure the mandate remains the same as that is what family does. He also said he is preparing a better Nigeria for his kids and those that are yet to be born.  | ||

The absence of the prosecution counsel, Mr Shuaibu Labaran, stalled the trial of Senator Dino Malaye in an FCT High Court, Maitama, Tuesday.Dino Melaye, the Senator representing Kogi West in the Red Chambers of the National Assembly, is charged with two counts bordering on giving false information to the police.The Federal Government arraigned Dino Melaye, alleging that he, sometime in April, 2017, deliberately gave false information to the police.Mr Abubakar Mustapha who held brief for Labaran, at the resumed sitting, told the court that the matter was for cross-examination of prosecution witness, NAN reports.He, however, pleaded with the court, saying the matter cannot proceed as there was a communication gap between him and the lead counsel, Labaran who was absent.Mustapha also informed the court that the prosecution witness was also not in court and that he was supposed to be cross-examined today by the defence counsel. He, therefore, prayed the court for an adjournment. READ ALSO: Police stay put at Melaye's residence, want him to surrender The defence counsel, Mr Olusegun Jolaawo, opposed the application for adjournment and told the court that "On Jan. 18, this matter came up with the same excuse. "The witness has an obligation to make himself available on every adjourned date, whether court sits or not until your lordship orders his discharge, We could not carry out cross-examination majorly because he is absent from court," he said. Mr Jolaawo reminded the court that "Section 215 of the Evidence Act further clarifies on the issue of the order and direction of examination, by the following subsections: According to Mr Jolaawo, this section of Evidence Act gives them the right to cross-examine a witness. The judge, Justice Olasumbo Goodluck, after listening to Jolaawo's submission adjourned until July 3, July 4 and July 10. Goodluck warned that this would be the last time she would be adjourning the matter.  | ||

From the reliable information at my disposal, it was disclosed to me that Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has paid the assassins who are already trailing me to kill me and my Son Olujonwo. The assassins intend to kill me first and make it appear as an armed robbery operation. The second phase of the plot is to kill my son, Olujonwo in another armed robbery attack in the night. I want the world to know that my life and that of my son, Olujonwo is under threat for supporting President Muhammadu Buhari in the last election. I am crying out now to let the whole world know who to blame if anything happen Since President Buhari won the election Chief Obasanjo have developed very strong hatred for me and my son and he does not speak to my Son again or pick his calls. I am appealing to anyone who knows 'Baba Obasanjo" to please tell him not to kill me and my Son. Politics should not be a do or die for him and it should not become a crime that must bring me and my Son death because we are supporting President Buhari. "I am also appealing to the police and other security agencies to please come to our aid. This is a serious threat and the police should please help us."
