Daddy Freeze – ‘You don’t even have to be married to make heaven’

Posted: 12 Jun 2019 10:30 PM PDT

Daddy Freeze
OAP, Daddy Freeze has said an individual doesn't have to be married for them to stay blessed and happy.

He made the statement while reacting to the news of a man who killed his wife over infidelity accusations. Freeze said he realised marriage doesn't guarantee all the good things in life and one could get them without getting married.

See his post below…

You don't have to be married to be blessed, you don't have to be married to be happy, you don't have to be married to be rich or successful in business, you don't even have to be married to make heaven.

I learnt all these when my first marriage failed and after the first 2 weeks of me being alone, I realized how much happier I truly was.

With my partner, I find it so effortless, she immediately understood my purpose and set out to help me become the best me. I could NEVER EVER have carried the #FreeNation mantle without her support and understanding in Every ramification.

The greatest lesson I learnt from my failed first marriage is; although as humans we make mistakes, we don't have to be forced to live with all of them. When you make the mistake of choosing the wrong partner, and find yourself in a bad marriage, leave!

Posted: 12 Jun 2019 04:39 PM PDT

President Muhammadu Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari, the Commander-in-Chief, Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has renamed Abuja National Stadium as MKO Abiola Stadium.

This was contained in the President's inaugural speech during the Democracy Day celebration at the Eagle Square in Abuja on Wednesday.

In his speech, Buhari described Nigeria as the big brother of its African neighbours.

The President, promised to ensure that Nigeria remains a single entity and to build a viable economy.

He further promised to develop Nigeria through Agriculture and to form a formidable partnership with foreign countries.

He however warned those inciting other citizens to cause violence to stay clear or will be dealt with.

Read full text of the inaugural speech below:

Protocols

All Praise is due to GOD Almighty Who spared our lives to be present at this great occasion. We give thanks also that the democratic process has been further entrenched and strengthened.

2. Twenty years ago, a democratically elected government took over from the military in a historic transfer of political power for our country.

3. Today, we are privileged to mark the longest period of unbroken democratic leadership and 5th peaceful transfer of power from one democratically elected government to another in Nigeria.

4. Throughout the last four years, I respected the independence of INEC. I ensured that INEC got all the resources it needed for independent and impartial management of elections in the country.

5. All interested parties are agreed that the recent elections, which except for pockets of unrest, were free, fair and peaceful.

6. I thank all the people who worked for our party, who campaigned and who voted for us. I thank my fellow Nigerians, who, since 2003 have consistently voted for me.

7. Victory is your greatest reward; peace, unity and greater prosperity will be our collective legacy.

Your Excellencies, Fellow Nigerians,

8. I and Nigerians collectively must give adequate thanks to our Armed Forces, Police and other law enforcing agencies for working round the clock to protect us by putting themselves in harm's way and defending our values and protecting our future.

9. Terrorism and insecurity are worldwide phenomena and even the best policed countries are experiencing increasing incidents of unrest and are finding things hard to cope.

10. The principal thrust of this new Administration is to consolidate on the achievements of the last four years, correct the lapses inevitable in all human endeavors and tackle the new challenges the country is faced with and chart a bold plan for transforming Nigeria.

11. Fellow Nigerians, I have had the privilege of free education from Primary school to Staff College to War College.

RELATED:  FULL TEXT: Inaugural Speech Of President Buhari On May 29, 2015

12. I received my formative education in Katsina and Kaduna and my higher education in England, India and the United States.

13. I have worked and served in Kaduna, Lagos, Abeokuta, Makurdi, Port Harcourt, Maiduguri, Ibadan, Jos and finally here in Abuja. Throughout my adult life, I have been a public servant. I have no other career but public service. I know no service but public service.

14. I was involved at close quarters in the struggle to keep Nigeria one. I can therefore do no more than dedicate the rest of my life to work for the unity of Nigeria and upliftment of Nigerians.

15. In 2002-2003 campaigns and elections, I travelled by road to 34 of the 36 states of the Federation. This year I travelled by air to all 36 states of the Federation.

16. Before and during my time in the Armed Forces and in government, I have interacted with Nigerians of all ages and persuasions and different shades of opinion over a period of more than fifty years.

17. And my firm belief is that our people above all want to live in peace and harmony with their fellow Nigerians. They desire opportunity to better themselves in a safe environment.

18. Most of the instances of inter-communal and inter-religious strife and violence were and are still as a result of sponsorship or incitements by ethnic, political or religious leaders hoping to benefit by exploiting our divisions and fault lines, thereby weakening our country.

19. And our country Nigeria is a great country. According to United Nations estimates, our population will rise to 411 million by 2050, making us the third most populous nation on earth behind only China and India.

20. We have water, arable land, forests, oil and gas and vast quantities of solid minerals. We are blessed with an equable climate. However, the bulk of our real wealth lies in Agriculture, Livestock, Forestry and Mining. We possess all the ingredients of a major economic power on the world stage.

21. What we require is the will to get our acts together. And our strength is in our people – our youth, our culture, our resilience, our ability to succeed despite the odds.

22. A huge responsibility therefore rests on this and succeeding Administrations to develop, harness and fulfil our enormous potential into a force to be reckoned with globally.

23. Thus far, we Nigerians can be proud of our history since Independence in 1960. We have contributed to UN peace-keeping responsibilities all over the world; we have stabilized Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast and two years ago we prevented the Gambia from degenerating into anarchy.

24. Without Nigerian influence and resources, the liberation of Angola, Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe and ultimately South Africa would have come at greater cost. This fact had been attested by none other than the late Nelson Mandela himself.

25. Elsewhere, Nigeria is the Big Brother to our neighbours. We are the shock-absorber of the West African sub-region, the bulwark of ECOWAS and Lake Chad Basin Commission. We can therefore be proud to be Nigerians. We must continue to be Good Neighbours and Good Global Citizens.

26. At home, we have been successful in forging a nation from different ethnicities and language groups: our evolution and integration into one nation continues apace.

27. When, therefore we came to office in 2015 after a decade of struggle we identified three cardinal and existential challenges our country faced and made them our campaign focus, namely security, economy and fighting corruption.

28. None but the most partisan will dispute that in the last four years we have made solid progress in addressing these challenges.

RELATED:  Bola Tinubu Has Reacted To Buhari's Declaration Of June 12, New Democracy Day

29. When I took the oath of office on 29 May 2015, insecurity reigned. Apart from occupying 18 local governments in the North East, Boko Haram could at will attack any city including the Federal Capital, could threaten any institution including bombing the United Nations building and Police Headquarters in Abuja.

30. Admittedly, some of the challenges still remain in kidnappings and banditry in some rural areas. The great difference between 2015 and today is that we are meeting these challenges with much greater support to the security forces in terms of money, equipment and improved local intelligence. We are meeting these challenges with superior strategy, firepower and resolve.

31. In face of these challenges, our Government elected by the people in 2015 and re-elected in March has been mapping out policies, measures and laws to maintain our unity and at the same time lift the bulk of our people out of poverty and onto the road to prosperity.

32. This task is by no means unattainable. China has done it. India has done it. Indonesia has done it. Nigeria can do it. These are all countries characterized by huge burdens of population.

33. China and Indonesia succeeded under authoritarian regimes. India succeeded in a democratic setting. We can do it.

34. With leadership and a sense of purpose, we can lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in 10 years.

35. Following the 60 percent drop in oil prices between 2015 and 2016, through monetary and fiscal measures, we stimulated economic growth, curbed inflation and shored up our external reserves.

36. We now have witnessed 8 quarters of positive growth in the economy and our GDP is expected to grow by 2.7 percent this year.

37. Furthermore, our external reserves have risen to $45 billion enough to finance over 9 months of current import commitments.

38. This Administration is laying the foundation and taking bold steps in transforming our country and liberating our people from the shackles of poverty.

39. First, we will take steps to integrate rural economies to the national economic "grid" by extending access to small-scale credits and inputs to rural farmers, credit to rural micro-businesses and opening up many critical feeder roads.

40. Secondly, for small-scale enterprises in towns and cities, we shall expand facilities currently available so that we continue to encourage and support domestic production of basic goods and reduce our reliance of imported goods as I will outline later.

41. For the next four years, we will remain committed to improving the lives of people by consolidating efforts to address these key issues as well as emerging challenges of climate change, resettling displaced communities and dealing decisively with the new flashes of insecurity across the country, and the impacts on food scarcity and regional stability.

42. We are not daunted by the enormity of the tasks ahead. Instead, we are revived by this new mandate to work collaboratively with State and Local Governments, Legislators, the Diplomatic Corps and all Nigerians to rebuild and reposition our country as the heartbeat and reference point for our continent.

43. Fellow Nigerians, Your Excellencies, Ladies & Gentlemen:

a. Despite the enormous resources pledged to infrastructure development these past four years, there remains the urgent need to modernize our roads and bridges, electricity grid, ports and rail systems.

b. Whilst agriculture and industrial output have recovered since the recession, we are more committed than ever to work with the private sector to improve productivity and accelerate economic growth.

c. The Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index which is the gauge of manufacturing activity in the country has also risen for 26 consecutive months since March 2017 indicating continuous growth and expansion in our manufacturing sector.

d. It still takes too long for goods to clear at our seaports and the roads leading to them are congested. It still takes too long for routine and regulatory approvals to be secured. These issues affect our productivity and we are committed to addressing them permanently.

e. Our Government will continue work to reduce social and economic inequality through targeted social investment programs, education, technology and improved information.

f. Our social intervention programs are a model for other nations. Together with state governments, we provide millions of school children with meals in primary schools, micro loans to traders and entrepreneurs, skills and knowledge acquisition support to graduates and of course, conditional cash transfers to the poorest and most vulnerable in our society.

g. A database of poor and vulnerable households is being carefully built based on age, gender, disability, educational levels for proper planning in this Administration's war against poverty.

h. A database of unemployed but qualified youth has also been developed under the National Social Investment Programme which can be used by the public and private sectors for recruitment purposes. Cumulatively, nearly 2 million beneficiaries have received aid under this Programme apart from Anchors Borrowers Programme and School Feeding initiative each reaching 2 million recipients. And we will do more. Much more.

44. Fellow Nigerians, Your Excellencies, Ladies & Gentlemen, we know that there exists a strong correlation between economic inequality and insecurity.

45. When economic inequality rises, insecurity rises. But when we actively reduce inequality through investments in social and hard infrastructure, insecurity reduces.

46. The disturbing increase in rates of kidnapping, banditry and other criminal activities can be attributed to the decades of neglect and corruption in social investment, infrastructure development, education and healthcare.

47. This issue is further compounded by the impact of our changing climate and ecology.

48. The ECOWAS and Sahel regions, starting from Chad all the way to Mali, are also experiencing adverse impacts of drought and desertification, which have triggered waves of human displacement; conflicts between farmers and herdsmen; terrorism; and a fundamental socio-economic change to our way of life.

49. These issues are regional and not unique to Nigeria alone. The problems call for increased regional and international cooperation in developing a sustainable solution.

50. As Chairman of ECOWAS, I will be hosting a regional security summit of heads of states in the Sahel to develop a Joint Strategy to continue our efforts in addressing these issues.

51. Fellow Nigerians, Your Excellencies, Ladies & Gentlemen, at the heart of inequality and insecurity, is pervasive corruption. When we took office we realised that if you fight corruption, corruption will fight back – and we have seen this at all levels.

52. For Nigeria to progress, a collective resolution to address corruption and foster broad-based prosperity is required to create a country that is not only for a few privileged, but for all Nigerians.

53. This charge is not only to Civil Servants, Ministers, Legislators and State Government functionaries, but also to Corporate leaders.

54. We shall make greater investments in our rural economies. We shall aggressively source locally our raw materials.

RELATED: Sagay Calls On APC To Return To Court On Zamfara, Rivers

55. We have incentives for investments specifically made in rural communities.

56. However, nationwide development cannot occur from Abuja alone; it must occur at States. And Government cannot do it alone.

57. I therefore implore all State Governments, especially those with large rural economies, to aggressively solicit investments in your states. Invest in developing human capital, reducing bureaucracy and corruption, hosting and attending investment summits and improving the ease of doing business.

58. At this point, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entrepreneurs, investors and venture capitalists who have built or are building agro-processing projects; petrochemical plants; crude oil and solid mineral refineries; energy exploration; software development projects; telecom infrastructure; health, education and manufacturing projects; and the like, across our country.

59. I would like to make special mention to promoters of our small businesses that are proudly making goods and services for export and for local consumption. The Nigerian economy rises and falls on the strength of your investments and productivity.

60. We will continue to listen to your ideas and plans not just about how we can secure more investment, but how your plans can help create a more equitable economy.

61. I also thank the labour unions, farmer groups and associations, organized private sector and the civil society organisations for their support and cooperation with our government these last four years.

62. We will continue to count on your support, guidance and understanding during the next four years.

63. I especially thank our traditional leaders and congratulate re-elected and newly elected State Governors and members of the National Assembly. Our Government will continue to count on your support so that we can together move our country forward.

64. Fellow Nigerians, Your Highnesses, Your Excellencies, Ladies & Gentlemen, despite the challenges over the last four years, my optimism about Nigeria's future is unshaken and Nigeria's role in the world as an emerging economic force is without a doubt.

65. Over the next four years, we are committed to assembling a strong team of Nigerians, and allies, to implement our transformative plans and proposals.

a. We will see significant focus, resource and, where necessary reform, in tertiary and technical education to reposition Nigeria's workforce for the modern technological age.

b. We will accelerate investments in primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare programs, interventions and infrastructure as well as in upgrading of our medical personnel to stem the flight of our best trained people.

c. On food security, our farmers have made great strides in local production of rice, maize, cassava, poultry, fertilizer, fisheries and sesame. We remain resolute in supporting private sector in emphasizing backward integration and export expansion plans.

d. Felling of trees to provide energy for domestic use is taking its toll on our rain forests, our ecology and our climate. Accordingly, we are taking steps to harness cleaner and more sustainable sources of electricity. We export over 2 million tons of cooking gas, yet we consume less than half a million tons.

e. We will work to address this issue and support rural communities with challenges of safely switching from firewood to cooking gas.

f. Dedicated agro-industrial processing zones will be developed on a PPP basis to increase farming yields, agricultural productivity and industrial output.

g. Over 2,000 kilometers of ongoing Federal road and bridge projects across the country will be completed to reduce journey times and the cost of doing business. As I mentioned earlier, critical feeder roads will be built to facilitate easier transportation for people and goods from rural areas to major roads.

h. We are at advanced stages of securing investments to modernize and expand our transmission and distribution infrastructure, ensuring that electricity is available and affordable for all Nigerians.

i. Several rail, seaport and airport projects are at various stages of completion. We will open the arteries of transportation nationwide.

j. It is a fact that Nigeria has more gas reserves than it has oil. Over the last four years, we have become a net exporter of urea, which is made from natural gas. We invite investors to develop more natural gas-based petrochemical projects.

k. Fellow Nigerians, This Government will not tolerate actions by any individual or groups of individuals who seek to attack our way of life or those who seek to corruptly enrich themselves at the expense of the rest of us. We will crack down on those who incite ordinary innocent people to violence and unrest.

l. We will ensure that such actions are met with the strong arm of the law.

66. Nation building takes time. But we must take solace in the knowledge that this country, our country, has everything we require to make Nigeria prosper.

67. Fellow Nigerians, Your Highnesses, Your Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen, I invite you to join me in this journey of rebuilding our nation.

68. Our focus will not be to help the privileged few but to ensure that Nigeria works for Nigerians of all persuasions. That is a more just arrangement.

69. As we all know, correcting injustice is a pre-requisite for peace and unity. As part of the process of healing and reconciliation, I approved the recognition of June 12 as Democracy Day and invested the late Chief M.K.O. Abiola and Babagana Kingibe with National Honours, as I did with the late Chief Gani Fawehinmi. The purpose was to partially atone for the previous damage done in annulling the Presidential elections of that year.

70. Today, I propose the re-naming of the Abuja National Stadium. Henceforth it will be called MOSHOOD ABIOLA NATIONAL STADIUM.

71. In my first term, we put Nigeria back on its feet. We are working again despite a difficult environment in oil on which we depend too much for our exports. We encountered huge resistance from vested interests who do not want CHANGE, But CHANGE has come, we now must move to the NEXT LEVEL.

72. By the Grace of God, I intend to keep the oath I have made today and to serve as President for all Nigerians.

73. I thank you for attending this august occasion from far and near, and for all your best wishes to me, to our party and to Nigeria.

74. God bless us all, and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Northern Governors Given Conditions For Peace In Nigeria By Fulani Herdsmen

Posted: 12 Jun 2019 07:38 AM PDT

Herdsmen

A Fulani group, by name, Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN), has raised 11 points as conditions for the restoration of peace and stability in northern Nigeria and called for the implementation of these points for a prosperous country.

Khalil Mohammed Bello, the National President of the association, in a statement issued Wednesday in Damaturu, said the continued escalation of violence in the north was as a result of the failure of state governors to develop and harness the abundant natural and human resource endowments of their respective states.

The National President recalled that the wave of insecurity became more alarming in Nigeria and north in particular when armed robbery, kidnapping, armed banditry as well as terrorism started rearing their ugly heads at different points in time in the national life.

He added that all these culminated in the present reality that is characterised by pervasive security challenges rocking the northern region and parts of the country, Daily Post reports.

"The worse of all, is what is going on currently where the problems of Boko Haram, cattle rustling, human kidnapping, serious conflict between cattle rearers and farmers and religion crisis become order of the day in almost all parts of the Northern Nigeria which are some times extended to Southern part of the country, more especially the conflicts or crisis between Herders and their host communities," Bello noted.

RELATED:  JUST IN: 25 Killed In Sokoto By Bandits (PHOTOS)

The Fulani association, therefore, suggested that for peace to be sustained in north and other parts of the country, there is urgent need for the 19 northern governors to: guarantee the security of the nomads and their livestock, establish special schools for the nomads, preserve and develop grazing reserves.

Others issues raised by the association that could lead to lasting peace in the region include: establishment of functional of veterinary for livestock services, funding of annual mass animal vaccination, provision and distribution of livestock feeds as well as provision of water in nomads' settlements among others.

The pre-conditions for peace as enumerated by the Fulani Association's National President Khalil Mohammed Bello are as follows:

1. Security for the Nomads and their livestock across the Nooks and crannies of the entire Northern States.

2. Special Schools For the Nomads.

3. Total preservation and development of grazing reserves across the Northern States of the Federation.

4. Establishment of functional veterinary and livestock services with personnel trained to teach Pastoralists modern livestock practices.

5. Fund adequately annual or retune animals vaccination services.

6. Support Nomads with livestock feed enduring the Lean month of March to June.

7. Provide all Nomads settlement across the North with portable water for human and livestock consumption.

8. Building the capacity of young Pastoralists of modern and lucrative/profitable livestock rearing to prevent them from engaging in a criminal act of human kidnapping.

9. Introduction of massive empowerment program for the pastoralists especially those who no longer own livestock as an alternative source of living.

RELATED:  The Sinister Silence Of Herdsmen

10. Re-demarcation of all cattle routes that were not blocked as a result of executing developmental projects to prevent herders from destroying farmers' farms.

11. Making peace and dialogue between the aggrieved parties across the Northern States.

"We wish to emphasize, that the above are some of the measures that KACRAN is of the strong view that, if properly and judiciously taken by our humbled Northern governors, peace and harmony would be restored in the entire Northern region and our beloved Country Nigeria, as well as enhancing our Nation's economic potentialities," the association insisted.

Anthony Joshua drops down to number four in world heavyweight ranking
British fighter, Anthony Joshua, is now number four in the world heavyweight ranking, as published by Ring Magazine.

This comes after he suffered his first defeat as a professional to Andy Ruiz Jr.

A seventh-round stoppage at Madison Square Garden, saw Ruiz Jr crowned unified heavyweight champion, the first Mexican-American to achieve the feat.

Joshua is now one place behind him. Tyson Fury has now achieved the rank of best heavyweight in the world, while American Deontay Wilder is number two.

Joshua's compatriot, Dillian Whyte, finishes off the top five.

With a fight against Oscar Rivas coming up this month, Whyte will have an opportunity to put some pressure on the leading four in the heavyweight division.

Nigerian lady, Thelma recounts how her 5-month-old baby was resurrected through prayers

Posted: 12 Jun 2019 07:00 AM PDT

A Nigerian lady identified as Mrs Emike Thelma Okeke took to social media to recount how her dead baby was resurrected after she went under intense prayers.

In her post, she narrated on how the doctor and nurses at the hospital had confirmed the baby dead and already given up on every chance of her coming back to life.

Read Below

MY TESTIMONY IS ONE YEAR TODAY(June 7th 2019).
BELOVED, GOD STILL RAISES THE DEAD.
"You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness".Psalm 30:11.

Often times, testimonies becomes too heavy for us to share; but when it's a bad news, it goes viral. This one, I must testify. I must let the whole world know that this God has not changed. I must confess that the power of resurrection is REAL & still very much @ work. I must testify what this Great God has done for my family.

On the 5th of June 2018, my little princess who was 5months and 2wks old then, had fever, & was stooling @ the same time. She was taken to the hospital the next day(6th) where she was admitted.

As though the sickness was getting worse through the night, the drip was dripping and stopping intermittently. Little did I know it was her organs failing gradually. In the afternoon the next day, being 7TH OF JUNE 2018(the D day), @ about 3pm, while sitting beside her waiting for the nurse to come and check the drip which had stopped again, I heard a voice " Pray". I looked around the ward wondering whose voice it was, and the voice repeated "pray". @ that point, I knew the Lord was talking to me.

So I said " thank you Jesus, I will pray, but let me wait for the nurse to finish attending to the drip because I wouldn't want her to interrupt my prayers". This time, the voice came in a little harsh tune "I'm asking you to pray, and you are here giving excuses".I quickly apologized & started praying. I was still praying when the nurse came in, so I concluded and watched her do her job; but the drip still did not work(NB. the vein /drip line did not tissue, nor was there any medical reason as to why the drip stopped).

When the nurse went out to get more equipment, the Lord spoke to me again saying "pray, this is beyond what you can see". Then I looked up to heaven and said "Lord, I do not know what the problem is, but God, take control; and immediately the drip started running. Before I could touch the drip regulator, the nurse returned and did it herself.

While she was doing the needful, without any reason, I carried my baby and then noticed she was having slight fever. So I asked the nurse to check her temperature. Before I could finish speaking, my baby started stretching and struggling for her life. Right in my arms, I helplessly watched my daughter battling for life and in very few seconds she closed her eyes unto death. I thought I was dreaming, but then, the nurse took her from me, and I saw the doctors and nurses running helter skelter. I watched the medical team try their best to revive her, all to no avail.

Then the worse dawned on me when they placed her on oxygen which yet confirmed the negative. At that very minute, I felt lactation, and a tiny voice whispered, "she just crossed over", and I responded " No way"! Immediately, I ran back to her lifeless body almost pushing down the doctors and nurses and started prophesying to her. I was calling her name, begging her to come & suck, and I pleaded with the doctors and nurses to help me call her back that my breast milk was running.

The nurses with tears in their eyes tried to console me, and pleaded with me to go out and stay away from the dead baby. Then it dawned on me that it was a reality. My spirit immediately became very angry and I shouted, "NO WAY, THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE". I was so furious, and the only thing that came to my mind was " if she leaves here, she is going back to heaven. Pray and tell God to send her back".

With these words in my heart, I became confident and needed someone who could join me in faith to pray. I thought of my husband, my mum, or my sister but somehow, I felt these persons might become too emotional for what my spirit needed. So I quickly called my God mother, Prophetess Ogochukwu Ufomadu, told her the situation, and ended the call before she could even speak.

As I stepped out of the ward, I saw other women/mothers who out of fear ran out of the ward with their sick babies carrying their children. Then the reality hit my head again. Some of those women were crying, and others were praying.

But because I didn't want to hear cry at that point in time, I just moved to a quiet corner and started praying. With so much confidence in my heart, I prayed to God and reminded him of his promises to me in which burying my child isn't part of it. I reminded God of all his promises which I've read in my bible, and those I've heard. In all these promises, I reminded this faithful God whom my bible tells me in Heb 6:18 " that by two immutable things God cannot lie", and because he said I shall not die, my daughter shall not die(PSA. 118:17).

I reminded Him who said in Matt 24:35 that " heaven and earth will pass away, but his word will remain", that his word promised me,in John10:10 " that I may have life, even more abundantly". I told God so many things. I remember telling Jesus Christ of his finished work on the cross which had paid the debt for premature death in my life and family (John 19:30″It is finished").

I reminded the God of all flesh whom nothing takes unawares that He saw this coming and asked me to pray earlier and that I know His ears are not deaf to hear me(Ish 59:1). While I was praying, I felt a cooled wind of peace on my head going into my heart. Then I heard "start calling her back, call her name".

I obeyed and started calling her; "Chikambelu Peniel Emike please come back to me. Please come back to mummy, Kambel please come back to daddy and Chimkasimma your brother; we love you so much and cannot afford to loose you. Oh' my heart pierced a million times when I told her how I cannot answer Kasimma if he should ask me mummy, where is my baby Kambel?

I called her name so many times and told her all my heart could interpret @ that moment. I called my princess and promised her all I could think of. I kept calling her name, and turning my promises and plea into prayer, when the voice whispered again "be thankful, God is with you". So I started praising God, and was still begging him for a miracle.
In less than 5mins, a nurse screamed " Mrs. Emike, Mrs. Emike, come, come, Mrs. Emike come.

You could imagine my race at that point. As I ran into the ward, I heard a baby's voice crying and when I looked up, it was my Chikambelu Peniel Emike crying.
God came down in his GLORY and called her MIRACLE. Today, her name is Chikambelu Miracle-Peniel Emike. The doctors and nurses were all amazed, and so was everyone around. More people came from different places to see the MIRACLE WORK OF GOD.

BELOVED, GOD RESTORED MY BABY, HE RESTORED MY JOY AND HAPPINESS. GOD RESTORED MY HOPE AND TRUST IN HIM, HE WILL RESTORE YOUR JOY AND HOPE AGAIN.
JUST KEEP THE FAITH ALIVE AND NEVER GIVE UP, GOD HAS NOT CHANGED.
GOD IS NOT DEAD, HE IS STILL THE ALMIGHTY.

Thank you for spending your time reading this.

Ethiopian woman age 21 sits for an exam 30 minutes after giving birth to her son

Posted: 12 Jun 2019 06:36 AM PDT

A woman in Ethiopia sat to take her exams in a hospital bed just 30 minutes after giving birth.

Almaz Derese, 21, who is from Metu in western Ethiopia, had hoped to sit for the exam before her baby was born, but the secondary school exams were postponed because of Ramadan. She went into labour on Monday shortly before the first exam was due to start.

Ms Almaz said studying while pregnant was not a problem and she did not want to wait until next year to graduate. She took her English, Amharic and maths secondary school exams in hospital on Monday and will sit her remaining tests at the exam centre over the next two days.

"Because I was rushing to sit the exam, my labour wasn't difficult at all," Ms Almaz told BBC. Her husband, Tadese Tulu, said he had to persuade the school to allow her to take the exams at the hospital.

In Ethiopia, it is common for girls to drop out of secondary school and return later on to complete their studies. Ms Almaz now wants to take a two-year course that will prepare her for university. She said she was pleased with how the exams went and her baby boy is doing well.

Lady mocks friend on twitter over what she ordered versus what she got in return

Posted: 12 Jun 2019 05:00 AM PDT

The world is now a global village due to social media as it has helped bridge several gaps. Many individuals can now advertise their businesses on social media and clients are also able to see various options and make a choice.

However, social media also has its downsides as it raises expectations and leads to some clients getting disappointed.

It is no longer strange to see reports of customers getting something different from what they ordered for as many of them take to the internet to air their grievance.

In a tweet shared by Delta Finest (@chynonxo) on social media, her friend had ordered for a hot pink cold-shoulder mono-strap dress, but had gotten something entirely different.

Simi urges Buhari and Nigerians to join hands in fixing Nigeria

Simi urges Buhari and Nigerians to join hands in fixing Nigeria
"We need to fix our country" – Simi to Buhari, Nigerians

Popular Nigerian singer, Simi took to her Twitter handle to talk about how Nigerians can fix the country and fix the image of the country which has been destroyed.

She also expressed that the countries Nigerians are running to did not become so overnight but through hard work which led to development.

Simi wrote:

We need to fix our country, fix our image – because the only reason the Nigerian passport is going through so much scrutiny is because of what they assume we're ALL capable of. The more desperate we are to go there, the less likely they want us there and vice versa! Buhari

We're the problem. We're also the solution. We have highly underestimated the power and impact of a good image – and it's catching up to us. Plus the change is not just the government, it's all of us. We're getting left behind.

Every dayy we're clapping for countries with passports that have easy access to numerous countries. WHY THE HECK DO YOU THINK THAT IS They earned it. They earned it! The problem is not the passport, it is us my brethren.

Over 30 years ago, my mother went to London and got visa on arrival. The same green passport. We gotta start telling ourselves the truth. If we don't fix up, how we gon get better treatment??

Previously, the privileged were quiet because they could somehow find a way. Now, everybody is affected! I feel like if we let it go too bad, it'll take even longer to repair. I'm tired. Even talk is too much – we need people with good hearts that really can be the change.

In Lagos: Lady steps out of her car to flog children who persistently tried to clean her windscreen in Traffic

Posted: 12 Jun 2019 03:00 AM PDT

lady took off her slippers in an attempt to wade off kids rendering their unsolicited service.

One probably might have come across such scenario when in traffic in Lagos – whether or not you gave the consent for them to clean your car, these people come out of nowhere and voila! Liquid soap and a stick foam brush is dancing on your windscreen.

It is a common thing to find people who wash the windscreen of cars in traffic for a living. Although, it can be sometimes annoying when you did not ask for it and someone comes from nowhere pouring soapy water on your windscreen.

This happened to a lady in Lekki, Lagos. In a video circulating, the woman is seen driving a black Honda Accord with kids on her car bonnet wiping her windscreen.

She gets furious when they stubbornly remained on her car bonnet even after she drove with them on it. She then proceeds out of her car with her slippers in her hand to flog them before they quickly down.

Uber driver replies BBNaija Star, Khloe for accusing him of assault

Uber driver replies Khloe who accused him of assault
Koko last night took to her social media handle to call out an Uber driver who according to her, manhandled her whilst he was taking her home from the Lagos airport when she missed her flight.

Koko posted a screengrab showing the Uber Driver's face and profile on her Instagram page and wrote;

"I'm typing this in tears and anger. Dear uber I don't know how you pick your drivers but this people are not human and it's heartbreaking because we travel and see how Uber drivers in other country treat us . So I missed my flight at the old airport and ordered Uber. Firstly , I called and he picked and using me to talk. Secondly , he said I have to meet him where he parked that he can't come to me.

I was too tired and just want to go home.. I got inside the car after so much attitude but just want to leave because of people trying to say Hi and I'm too tired . He asked where I was going and I said Lekki but want to stop by surulere . Then he said he wanted a long journey cos if he pays for car park he have to make the money back "aggressively " then I asked if there is any problem ? He replied "problem will arise if I don't make enough money " . And I said cancel and let me order another one. He look back and said "if only you are human enough you will understand " and I replied what do you mean human enough? He said I cant understand cos I'm not human.

I was so mad and asked if he's Mad ? Next thing he started cursing me ,saying all sorts , sent me out of the car and pushed me to the side . The most annoying part is that his friends there that were greeting me and I waved at joined him and said we greeted her and she just waved , so they join him to curse and humiliate me ."am I suppose to knee down and greet them cos they called my name ?" And he said ( yah all celebrity feels like you are god , we are here to treat your fuck up ) . Mentioning names of popular people they have done such too and so on @uber tonight I feel the worse , luckily for me my people were still around so I called them and they got me out of the place quickly cos they were going to jump on me . Just imagine people who don't have voices or someone around ?

That's how people get raped , robbed , beaten , even killed. Pls screen your drivers and always ask for reviews .. but what is the assurance they will even get punished after review or report. For me I'm done with UBER. This isn't my 1st experience and people around me to.#byeUber

The Uber driver has since denied the allegation. He wrote;

This is why we are easily cajoled in this country, she came on social media and lied vividly on the incident that happened,i don't need a low life person to trend for i trend in the almighty's blessings. Please pray for her for she needs help for living a double life by pretending to be a nice and calm person to the public but a devil in disguise for i have a video of the incident, thank God it was documented.

For not a single finger was laid on her and moreover after telling me how stupid I am that really escalated the issue that got me angry and all i told her was a don't exchange words with shenanigans like her for people with linguistic and fragmented characters like her are not my type.IT'S ME THE UBER DRIVER SHE'S REFERRING TO…..PLEASE BEWARE OF DOUBLE FACED HUMANS FOR THEY ARE MORE DEADLY THAN VENOMOUS SNAKES.

Koko also shares videos of the Uber driver talking to her aggressively.

OUR REVIEW: Remy Baggins' album 'HENTAI'

Posted: 12 Jun 2019 01:00 AM PDT

HENTAI sees one drawing inferences to 'Eigengrau' while appreciating Remy Baggins' quality production, songwriting, vision and execution.

Super-talented, genre-fluid Nigerian singer and producer, Remy Baggins is back with his new album, a 9-track EP titled, 'HENTAI.'

This follows 'YLLW,' his collaboration EP with fellow singer, Eri-Ife and his 2017 6-track EP, 'Eigengrau.'

During the breaks he had between those projects, he was producing and featuring for acts like Yinka Oshodi, Psycho YP and so forth.

In Japan, HENTAI is an anime with overly sexualized characters. But outside Japan, it is anime or manga pornography. And one thing this project runs on is an excess of sex.

With HENTAI, it looks like Baggins continues a story that started on Eigengrau (His last solo project), which is German for intrinsic or dark grey.

The album merged genre fluidity in melody-rich soft rock, alternative pop, afro-house, PR&B, trap and afrobeats with sufficient songwriting. It also tells a coming-of-age story that chronologically details frustrations (in love) before ending with the masterful 'Trippy a** outro.'

If I'm right and HENTAI is a continuation of Eigengrau, it feels like the frustrations (in love) that Baggins detailed on Eigengrau piqued on HENTAI. The man from 'Eigengrau' has now become a non-believer in love and all things that require faith and emotion. Instead, he's about sex.

The void of interest in love has now been replaced by an overt fixation on the erotic intricacies of sex.

The super-wonderful 'Trippy a** outro' was a psychedelic sonic experience. On the song, the complaint and nagging of the previous five tracks stopped and we got the wailing; a Kid Cudi-esque humming of a man probably in acceptance or pain, doing his best 808s and Heartbreaks-Kanye West impression while a myriad of instruments collide for melody.

It was a fitting ending to the 5 previous songs. 'Trippy' is a modern language for 'high,' and that song is definitely a psychoactive. I felt it a sad acceptance to all the complains and frustrations with a hint of wailing. Nonetheless, there's a chance that I might be wrong.

HENTAI

The album opens up to a track titled, 'Freaky a** intro.' The opening lyrics are lewd. They detail the intricate preferences of a faceless woman in bed and the desire of her mate. On the hook, Baggins sings that, "Leave your feelings out the door when you step in, I don't know what love is…"

Two central themes on Eigengrau; love and feelings are instantly rejected with a newfound stoic tendency. Asides that, there's also the 'a** outro' and 'a** intro' factor. Nonetheless, Remy Baggins croons with effortless charm while he lets a certain electronic guitar solo do the madness like this song were a 70's Van Halen song.

There's also the backdrop of the gripping, well-arranged drums and tin-drops for snare to appreciate.

The next track 'RockYourBody' sees Baggins embody an egotistical man while convincing a woman to "give it up" with slight entitlement apparent in him. The R&B/synth pop beat reminds one of 'Tonight' by John Legend or 'Hold On, We're Going Home' by Drake featuring Majid Jordan.

The careless obsession with sex continues, and so does a seeming obsession with electric guitar chords which strongly feature again heavily.

'SECRETz' follows. It's is a dripping R&B song with a Hip-Hop feel. Again, the entitlement of the male character rears its ugly head as he instructs female to switch her phone off and take everything she has on. This is some BDSM thing. Nonetheless, he promises to get her wetter than the ocean, so I guess that's fair.

Dami Oniru helps the project stays true to its sexual plot, and it's only when LADIPOE comes in that you realize that the song's idea could be a product of three individual imaginations. Could that be why it's titled, 'SECRETz'? I'll take that bet.

'Vibrate' is more uptempo afro-fusion. Now, Baggins is singing in pidgin. This time, it feels like the man Baggins sings about is with a more confident woman. She takes control. Woops! The details are lewd. The hook is about the girl's desire.

Tomi Thomas delivers without suffocating Baggins.

'GBA!' is an uptempo afrobeats song, a gbedu nonetheless; radio worthy in every way. Ordinarily, this would have stuck out as an awkward sound due to what we've been listening to, but it doesn't

Though uptempo, it's down to the kind of strings on the beat which drive a uniform sound. I like the Yoruba adlibs too. On this, the man Baggins sings about is desperate, yet confident.

'NakedxSavage' is my favourite on HENTAI. The trap&B beat is just orgasmic. The detail in this song's mixing is simply impeccable and I think Baggins realize because he was flossing.

For the first time so far, the lyrics slightly suffer, but I'm willing to overlook it. Except you're obsessive about lyrics, there's more to this song than lyrics. I, however, find Baggins likening himself to Pablo Picasso on sex quite hilarious . This 'wash' is mad!

'DRIPxxPHONESEX' tells the story of a woman who 'shoots her shot' quite brazenly at the man. The shot came with nudes on Snapchat. Of course, the man accepts and invites her over. This is another lewd song. The lyricism improves on another trap&B song.

'TENSION' features Funbi. This is different, the man is more considerate and empathetic. Sex is used more like an object of relaxation that aims to help the woman and not simply use her unlike the previous tracks. This is the lyrical variety I've been subconsciously clamouring for.

The beat is post-disco soul/alternative R&B that shares echoes with 'Sexual Healing' by Marvin Gaye and 'Another One' by Dvsn.

'Let me' is a perfect culmination to HENTAI. The guitars, saxophone and percussion fuse effortlessly for contemporary R&B with a hint of trap music and afrobeats (for verse two). Lyrically, the man Bagggins sings about is more methodical.

He wants the woman, he yearns for her and even refrains from doing anything till she gives him express consent. But on the other hand, it could also be the man's ego wanting to know that the woman truly wants him. This one is dicey, but the music is fantastic.

Verdict
The album art is a part of the experience. One look and you know what you're getting.

This is one of those albums where track list doesn't matter. Whichever way it was arranged, its sonic cohesion will still find a way to con you into endorsing it. Production on HENTAI is immaculate and meticulous.

On songwriting, I was almost subconsciously complaining about the ratchet sexcapades when 'TENSION' and 'Let Me' dropped, so I'm fine. That's the variety and imagination that was required.

On his inspiration, I wager HENTAI is mostly imaginative. If it's not, Remy Baggins either has a very healthy sex life or an incredibly active imagination. I am also bias about the rock inspiration behind the guitar solos. Baggins is an old soul and HENTAI is a canvas of different sonic eras and genres merged into one.

There's 70's rock guitar solos of Van Halen, Guns 'n' Roses or Pink Floyd, there's trap music, alternative R&B, synth pop, Mavin Gaye era post-disco soul, afro-fusion and afrobeats.

It's also effortless how they interchange for optimum enjoyment. It's rare that I find no fault on an album, and I found one slight issue of one or two instances where Baggins does a Wizkid; using adlibs and expletives to fill cadences.

Throughout the album, I see detail and imagination. Most of all, I see a core student of music expressing himself through the 'sensitive' topic of sex. In the end, HENTAI is a tale of freedom.
