It is presumably what any woman would jump at but it seems this does not apply to budding Nollywood actress, Olive Utalor, who turned down a marriage proposal from her fiancée of many years. Her reason? The proposal did not come with a car for her. "On my birthday last year he promised me a car and now he wants me, Olive Utalor to get married to him without a car, it's not proper. I don't care if he has supported me through school. I can't be trekking under the sun when I am somebody 's wife. He should go and look for his class," the actress blurted out in a chat when Potpourri reached her to find out why she rejected a marriage proposal. It was gathered that the proposal was made by the fiance, who is a civil servant, a primary school teacher to be precise, on his birthday expecting his girlfriend would be pleasantly surprised and accept but her reaction so much disconcerted him that he contemplated taking his own life. In fact, he was said to have stood on a road perplexed, waiting for any car to run into him. The whole scene had taken place on a busy working day at a shopping mall in Asaba, Delta State before gaping eyes of many passers-by. The heartbroken boyfriend had thought he had everything perfectly planned and the timing just right, so, rejection was the last thing on his mind but his sweetheart of many years had other ideas. "I can't pretend that he is right for me. Yes, he saw me through the early stages of my tertiary education but that doesn't mean we are right for each other. If he cannot get me a car there can be marriage. I'm not being callous, I'm just being true to myself," she said smugly. The Delta State-born actress is quietly making her imprint on the landscape of the movie industry as she has featured in some really good films. They should plan for any occurrence and only seek help when they can't meet up with their demands. 4. Some problems in our lives don't just pop up. Some people don't earn much, but they have expensive cable TV at home. Go for a more affordable cable or terrestrial TV plan and upgrade when your income upgrades. Northboi hinted at the possible release date of the song with a post on his Instagram page on Wednesday, June 19, 2019. He said the single should be expected in 10 days. However, Wizkid is yet to give a release date to the song which saw him teaming up with Northboi and Sam Harper for the production. While Northboi had worked with Wizkid on songs that include 'Fever', 'Gucci Snake' and 'Soco,' Harper first worked with Wizkid when the young pop star featured on Goldlink album. On June 3, 2019 Wizkid posted a picture of himself and his team in a musical studio as fans anticipate for his new song. Pulse can't confirm if Wizkid worked with the producers in Miloco studios, a leading international group of recording studios based in London, England. According to PageSix, the Kensington announced the latest development, explaining that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be establishing their own independent foundation. The new foundation will support their charitable endeavors which will be a spin-off from the original foundation. However, Prince Williams and Kate Middleton will continue to run their foundation.  The decision to break away from the Royal Foundation is seen as the final step in the division of the couples' public duties and comes following the conclusion of a review into its structure. The Royals will continue to work on joint projects, such as the Heads Together campaign, PageSix revealed. TMZ reports that Cardi B has been indicted with 14 charges, including 2 counts of felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury. Other charges include misdemeanor reckless endangerment, assault, criminal solicitation, conspiracy, and harassment. According to TMZ, the prosecution decided to take the case to the grand jury based on some information they discovered, even though they were not specific about it.  Cardi B was accused of ordering the attack on two strip club bartenders in October 2019. The two women, Jade and Baddie G claimed that they were injured during the incident which took place at the club. From all indications, Cardi B might be in big trouble if she misstepped during the conditional period, TMZ reports. Cardi B is no newcomer to getting involved in fights as we can all recall the time she got into a fight with Nicki Minaj back in 2018. Bolanle's first foray into the world of filmmaking may have catapulted the '93 Days' co-producer to the top of the chart, but the 'Saro the musical' director only made her directorial debut with 'The Bling Lagosians. However, the 'Queen Moremi' director doesn't see herself walking and working in unfamiliar terrain. "First of all, I come from directing stage plays, so, in terms of directing 'The Bling Lagosians,' it comes naturally to me," she said after the private screening of 'The Bling Lagosians' at the Terra Kulture.  Her foray into the arts was not predetermined because she was merely working as a Consultant to the Ford Foundation Lagos when she helped raise millions of dollars for the Museum through Arts and Business Council. In 2003, she went on to launch Terra Kulture to promote Nigerian art and culture. This spurred her into directing stage plays with over eight successful stage plays to the credit of her production outfit, Bolanle Austen Peters Productions. On why she decided to make 'The Bling Lagosians' her directorial debut, she said, "This story came to me from observing our lifestyle, friends, myself, what we get up to, and for me, I wanted to draw a message because there's no point of making the film without marrying it to a message. So, it's essentially about decadence, excess, greed, lust and opportunity to rehabilitate oneself and those are the messages of 'The Bling Lagosians'.  "Again, the thespians were so disciplined. Some of them like Elvina, so I didn't struggle with the cast because they were all great. Even though Alex Ekubo feels I gave good direction, I gave very minimal direction because the real core is with the casting," she said. One of the things that have been widely discussed since the official trailer of 'The Blings Lagosians' was released, is the use of several Nollywood stars. There have been talks about flashy movies with many superstars not delivering in terms of content and Bolanle explains the reason for the cast. "So we spent over two months thinking about the people for each role so I never cheat on casting. In fact, I told Elvina I was going to cast her in this movie, almost two years before we shot the movie because we spent two years working on the script. The story came from my mind and I could tell the people who could fit into each role and that's why you find non-traditional actors who are talented people in the movie. I see that they could fit into the roles I wanted for them and I went for them," she explained. Reiterating her commitment to excellence and professionalism, 'Fela and the Kalakuta Queens' director says she's more particular about substance than film. She said, "I am not particular about the film, I am more particular about substance. And I believe that good work will sell itself which is what we have done with stage and we will do with films as well. We are not going into the popularity thing, we are going into the substance thing, so it is whoever that can deliver the script. So, I didn't do much work, I think the greatest thing I struggled with was sleep because I like to sleep because I had to work long hours overnight." In conclusion, Bolanle is of the belief that her directorial debut is a rich story that will top the box office saying, "We believe that 'The Bling Lagosians' is a rich story that has different facets that were added to it." The alleged victim texted his girlfriend Spacey, "grabbed my dick like 8 times", "pulled my zipper down", and "reached down my pants." The man ends the convo by writing, "Kevin Spacey is gay."  However, Kevin Spacey's lawyers are disputing this latest evidence insisting that the text messages don't tell the full story. Another challenge this latest evidence is facing is the fact that not all the text messages were time stamped. It would be recalled that a few weeks ago, when Kevin Spacey made a surprise appearance in court, his legal team were angry at the prosecution team for holding on to to the alleged victim's phone because according to them, the details in the phone would play a significant role in showing Kevin Spacey's innocence.
