She graduated from ARU with a degree in International Business Strategy Management in 2013, but sued the university after complaining it 'fraudulently misrepresented' the course. Ms Wong, who claimed her degree was a "Mickey Mouse degree", said claims in the university's prospectus that it was a 'renowned centre of excellence' that offered a 'high quality of teaching' were untrue. . She added that the school exaggerated the prospects of a career" and sued them for false advertising. Although, the university disputed the allegations, it has now agreed to pay her a £15,000 out-of-court settlement plus £46,000 towards her legal fees. In a chat with Telegraph, Wong said: "The payout means this is a victory for me, despite the university strenuously fighting my case and denying any responsibility. In light of this settlement I think universities should be careful about what they say in prospectuses. The burning of American and Isreali flags by members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), better known as Shiites in Abuja, has been condemed by the Coalition in Defence of Democracy and Good Governance.According to media reports, the Shiites set ablaze the national flags of the US and Israel during a massive protest in Abuja on Friday.The Shiittes protesters, who converged on Wuse market junction, described both countries as enemies and oppressors of the people of Palestine.The secretary of the academic forum of the movement, Abdullahi Musa, said the flags were burnt to show anger against the countries over their "oppressive tendency" against Palestine, Daily Post reports.But reacting, CDDGG said IMN was extending its terror activities beyond Nigeria.READ ALSO: US now demands social media accounts from visa applicants According to a statement by Gabriel Ajibili, Executive Secretary, the recent burning of the flags of the United States of America, as well as that of Israel by members of the IMN, was an indication of a more significant threat in the pipeline as posed by the IMN, whose history is replete with violence, aggression and complete disregard for constituted authorities in the country. The statement called on the authority to designate IMN as a terrorist organization in the interest of peace and tranquility. The statement added, "The Coalition in Defence of Democracy and Good Governance views such act as highly provocating and an attempt to drag Nigeria into a diplomatic row with the United States of America and Israel. "The IMN has clearly shown to the world that it is indeed a violent organization with backing from an international network that continues to fund its activities and consequently dictates to it acts to carry out such as burning of the flags of the United States of America and Israel. "The Coalition in Defence of Democracy and Good Governance condemn in its entirety the actions of the IMN and calls on the relevant security agencies to throw their searchlight on the IMN to identify their sponsorship network. "The Coalition in Defence of Democracy and Good Governance states in unequivocal terms that the IMN by its recent actions is indeed acting on behalf of some interest groups that are bent on seeing the disintegration of Nigeria. "These interest groups having identified the IMN as a violent and extremist organization have decided to discreetly carry out their plot to destabilize Nigeria as evident in the posturing of the IMN in Nigeria in recent times. The race for the Speaker-ship of the Green Chambers, in the yet-to-be inaugurated National Assembly, is gathering momentum, as the outgoing Speaker, Yakubu Dogara, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reportedly joined the race.The outgoing Speaker's interest in retaining his seat was announced through a campaign launched in the social media platforms by his aides over the weekend with various posters tagged 'continuity.'Sunday Tribune stumbled on a poster tagged "God chose Right Honourable Speaker Dogara Yakubu in the Eighth Assembly not any Lagosian. We believe He would do it again for us in the Ninth Assembly."Some of the campaigners have also created a hashtag #Dogaraforspeakeragain" which has been generating ripples in some section of the polity and on social media platforms.In June 2015, Dogara defeated Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila by eight votes to emerge the Speaker of the House of Representatives on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) before switching party affiliation to the PDP.APC leadership has endorsed Gbajabiamila as speaker and directed all lawmakers elected on its platform to vote for him and ensure his emergence in the election coming up on June 11. All efforts to speak with the Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs to Dogara, Mr Turaki Hassan, on the development proved abortive as all calls and text messages sent to him were not replied. This came just as Sunday Tribune learnt in Abuja on Saturday that all might be now set for the endorsement of Gbajabiamila for speakership by non-APC lawmakers. Findings revealed that a group of Representatives known as Ninth Assembly Progressives, comprising 64 non-APC members and led by a ranking and returning member, Honourable Oluwole Oke, PDP, representing Obokun-Oriade Federal Constituency of Osun State, will be meeting on Tuesday (June 4th) to endorse Gbajabiamila. A member of the group told Sunday Tribune in confidence that the action became necessary in order to further deepen the nation's democracy for the people to enjoy true dividends of democracy. When contacted, Honourable Oke, confirmed the development but declined further comments. In a related development, another leading APC contender for the seat from the North-Central zone, Honourable Mohammed Bago is boasting of having 195 members-elect who have signed for his candidature. Findings revealed that the move apparently showed that the members-elect may have largely bought into the equity agitation from the aspirant. Similarly, 156 members were said to have openly declared support for his candidature recently after a meeting at a location in Gwarimpa, Abuja. Besides this, the member elect who craved anonymity stated that "even within the ruling APC, Bago has so deftly sold his message that he is currently running neck to neck with Gbajabiamila for the signature of our party members." The member-elect also disclosed that the current crisis of confidence among top APC stalwarts is also working perfectly in Bago's favour. When contacted for comments on the new development, the spokesman for Bago Campaign Organisation, Honourable Victor Afam Ogene, stated that issues that have to do with members elect supporting Bago would remain closely guarded until few days to inauguration. According to him, "You know this is a contest involving only 360 members as the electorate. So, we are focusing on those that would vote for us, instead of engaging in show-off trips." The speaker-ship aspiration of Honourable Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, a House of Representatives member-elect from Okigwe South Federal Constituency, appears likely to threaten calculations for those in the camp of Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila, a front runner in the race. Reliable northern sources said many governors and elected representatives on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are favourably disposed to Nwajiuba emerging speaker. The Imo State lawmaker, who left APC to contest on the platform of Accord, had recently called for a review of the zoning of the position to the South-West, urging the APC leaders to look in the direction of the South-East. Although he left the APC on account of the running battle he had with the immediate past governor of the state, Rochas Okorocha, he has not left anyone in doubt about his for APC. His aide, Chief Jimmy Isilebo, confirmed that the HCN Project 2019 was aimed at not just winning the Okigwe South constituency seat but also to make a solid aim at the speakership of the House of Representatives. "There have been some strident calls for some time now, to fairly distribute elective and non-elective offices across all six geopolitical zones, and the case of the South-East zone has been the most harped about. Therefore, HCN's aspiration to the speakership couldn't have come at a better time than now. "Being a one time member of the House of Representatives from 1999 to 2003, which makes him a ranking member, he is qualified. The woman, wearing a black outfit which read 'Vitaly Uncensored' in white lettering, stormed the pitch in the first half of the final.  It is believed the woman is Kinsey Wolanski, the girlfriend of Vitaly Zdorovetskiy who set up the x-rated website. Zdorovetskiy previously invaded the pitch at the 2014 World Cup Final where he wrote 'natural born prankster' on his chest. Wolanski boasts more than 300,000 followers on Instagram where she regularly posts scantily clad photographs of herself. Vitaly Uncensored's YouTube channel has 1.6billion views and posts popular x-rated pranks. The site and channel is run by Vitaly Zdorovetskiy better known by his YouTube name VitalyzdTv.  He previously worked as a porn actor for the adult film studio Bang Bros in 2011. Kumuyi, who gave the admonition during his sermon at the Deeper Life Bible Church, Headquarters, Gbagada, in Lagos said that real Christians must obey constituted authorities and shun violence, NAN reports. Delivering his sermon entitled "The Believers' Preservation Until the Day of Visitation", Kumuyi said that Christians are strangers and pilgrims in the world and must be christ-like in their character, conducts and conversations. The cleric, who read from Biblical passage, I Peter 2: 11-25 said that Christians lifestyle must reflect Christ in a civil society, saying that government derives their authority from God. "Don't attack the President of the country whether in words or in the newspapers or through internet. "Honour kings; don't disrespect or dishonour the governors. Don't disrespect leaders of the community and leaders in the church. "If we are to honour the governors in the states, how much more the Pastors," Kumuyi said. He said that such remained the will and command of God. He said that God wanted Christians to submit to the leadership He had given to them in the Church, community, country and corporate organisations.  The cleric, who stated that the end of life on earth is not the end of existence, urged Christians to always think of the day of reckoning in their character and conduct. He said, as strangers and pilgrims in the world, Christians' affections, attentions and focus must be in heaven, hence the need to shun all appearance of sins. According to him, the greatest joy and reward of Christians is not in this world but is reserved in heaven for those would not be overcome by attractions of the world. Kumuyi admonished Christians to abstained from fleshly lusts, fornication, idolatry, anger among others that could pull them out of the highway of heaven just like Biblical character, Demas. According to him, Christians should not give up worship of God for money- making ventures, saying "man brought nothing to the world and will not take anything out of it." "If we are going to heaven, we must be careful and thoughtful and run from all appearance of evil. "Don't be ignorant, careless, and thoughtless. His mother, Rita Daniels who was present at the scene of the arrest, claim the Police keep arresting her children, harassing them and taking away their peace. Lawrence also claims he did nothing to warrant the arrest yet he is being handcuffed. Sammy West Daniels took to his Instagram page to explain what happened. Ebullient, graceful and methodical, Rita Daniel has transformed from being an actress to a politician, an entrepreneur and mentor. The mother of four has been able to nurture one of her kids into becoming a rising movie star. In this interview, Daniels shares talks about her marital status, her child Regina and more…. Excerpts: Aside acting, what else do you do? I am a very busy woman. I am into so many things. First, I am the chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Delta state chapter, (AGN). I am a politician; presently, the majority leader and counsellor, Aniocha South Local Government Area. I hail from Ogwashi-Ukwu town. I am also the managing director of Last Point Resort; the CEO Regina Daniels Children Foundation; the CEO, Chris Daniel Nigeria Limited; an officer in Director Guild of Nigeria; and a producer. People feel you pushed your daughter into acting because of money and that you want her to take after you an actress? Not really; nobody makes one a star. It's only God that has the power to lift from nobody to somebody. Yes, I am a good actress who is also talented. But my daughter started when at the age of seven. She loved watching movies and acting at home. Though I didn't allow her to watch Nigerian movies because of her age, she followed me to locations and made friends with a lot of actresses and actors. Anytime she saw little children on locations, she would beg me to allow her be part of the cast but I would refuse. She kept on pestering me until one day, I allowed her to act in a movie. She was very happy. She started practicing at home. Everything my daughter knows about acting I taught her. I encouraged her not to be nervous and she listened to me. She started as low as N5,000. She still acts for free to date if I want her to act. She is humble and very obedient. How often does she get movie role? She is a lucky child. She is always on set. I just thank God for everything. As soon as she is concluding a particular movie, they are calling her for another one. It got to a point that I had to plead with some of her directors and producers to allow her concentrate on her studies. If not, there is no week that she will not be on set. Has your celebrity status deprived you of anything in life? I believe it is a normal thing for you not to be everywhere as a star. But, I am not mindful of that. I have a business I run. So, I still go to the market to public places like every other person. I am not affected by celebrity status. If you don't go out how will you meet people? Even when my fans are screaming, 'Mama Regina! Mama Regina! Mama Regina!', I will just smile and hail them back and continue what I am doing. I am a politician and I am used to crowd. But ex-President Goodluck Jonathan allegedly gave a loan to the AGN. What happened to the money? (Laughs) I did not see one naira oh! I do not know who processed and collected the money. If the money was released, I do not know. If they did not release it, I do not know. The people, who were supposed to give us information, talking about the leadership of AGN, did not tell us anything. Even the first $200 million, nothing was heard of it. What am I looking for is hectares of land for the Film Village and a standard office for the guild so actors and actresses can have a place to share ideas and plan for the future. What is your view about Nollywood? Let's put it this way, using the argument of old and new Nollywood, the side of the fence that I stand on is that for every industry, new players would come and while they would even be considered as new players is because they are bringing value to the new generation. Those that consider themselves as the new Nollywood give them another 20 years and they are going to become the old Nollywood and that's the cycle of life. The new players must always add value. Nollywood is fast going into extinction and replaced with New Nollywood of unprecedented indecency and abuses. Are you married or a single mother? For now, only two of them are in Nollywood. But one is a musician while others are still in school. How many movies have you done so far? I have done so many movies I have even lost count. What I do mostly is producing most of the movies my daughter, Regina, acts in. Did you take a break from the movie industry? I didn't take a break from the movie industry. You know what is going on in the industry. They tend to frustrate the older ones and that is why, if you take a look at some of the movies, a lot of people have veered off into a lot of things. I will still be in the movie world till I breathe the last breath. I am a proud mother of four children and my children are everything to me. I hate to discuss my family in public. Just shortly after apologising, the blogger put up a video in which she appeared to be mocking herself. In the video which she shared on her Instagram, Blessing can be seen wearing the same dress she wore on the day she was humiliated by Onye Eze for claiming his house. Okoro can also be seen holding her son as she marched to the front of an uncompleted building and started picking up stones from the floor. When asked by the camera person what she was doing, she responded saying: "I am picking up the stones my ex-husband threw at me and I am using it to build myself."
