Reno Omokri,a former presidential aide to Goodluck Jonathan, has taken to social media to reveal the difference between President Buhari and Arya Stark of HBO hit series Game of Thrones. Reno Omokri disclosed that Arya Stark (played by Maisie Williams) was determined to kill her enemies because they had done evil to her. Buhari on the other hand is only out for his enemies simply because they voted for another party. Reno Omokri wrote:  What is the difference between Buhari and Game of Thrones's Arya Stark, who spent her days and nights memorising the names of her enemies she wanted to kill? At least Arya's enemies did something EVIL to her. The only thing Buhari's enemies did is to vote for PDP. Buhari spends his time thinking about enemies. We are world HQ for extreme poverty. According to her, if anyone attends the Onabisi Onabanjo University and does not get involved with practicing 'yahoo yahoo', then such person has a high resistance level for immoralities that would prevent future possibilities of ever perpetrating the crime. "If you are in OOU and you didn't do yahoo yahoo till you graduate, my brother forget it, There's nothing that will make you do Yahoo in life." she said. The Appeal Court sitting in Abuja, has been asked to invoke its original jurisdiction to determine whether President Muhammadu Buhari supplied false information about his educational qualification and certificates, in the Form CF001 he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), before the 2019 presidential elections.The appellate court in an appeal marked CA/A/436/201, further urged to determine whether the office of the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, is competent to file processes to defend the allegation that President Buhari lied on oath about his qualifications.Three litigants that filed the appeal, Kalu Agu, Labaran Ismail and Hassy El-Kuris, who identified themselves as electorate and taxpayers are challenging the dismissal of a suit they filed against President Buhari, before the February 23 presidential election, The Tribune reports.The trial Judge, Justice Ahmed Mohammed of the Federal High Court, Abuja had in a judgment delivered on May 2, 2019, dismissed the suit numbered, FHC/ABJ/CS/1310/2018, for being statute barred.READ ALSO: Motion For Secession Of South West From Nigeria, May Be Moved By Me - Femi Fani-Kayode ThreatensCited as defendants in the matter were President Buhari, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and INEC.They had, among other things, prayed the trial court to determine; "whether having regard to the information in the affidavit contained in the 1st defendant's INEC FORM CF001 regarding his educational qualifications/certificates, the defendant has submitted false information to the 3rd defendant. "Whether from the facts and exhibits contained in the affidavit in support of this Originating Summons, and having regard to section 31(5) and (6) of the Electoral Act, 2010 ( as amended ), the 1st defendant is disqualified from running for the office of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the 2019 General Elections. "Whether the 1st defendant having submitted false information to the 3rd defendant, the 2nd defendant can validly present the 1st defendant as its candidate for the office of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for the 2019 General Elections. "Whether the 3rd defendant can validly receive, accept or act upon the false information in the affidavit and documents submitted by the 1st as the candidate of the 2nd defendant for the office of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for the 2019 General Elections. READ ALSO: Mike Ozekhome, Atiku's Lawyer, Makes Demands From President Buhari Ahead Of Election Tribunal Judgement "Whether the 3rd defendant ought to have rejected the said false information and documents submitted by the 2nd defendant for the 1st defendant." Upon determination of the questions, they prayed the court to hold that President Buhari was ineligible to contest the presidential election. Meanwhile, in their four grounds of appeal, the appellant contended that the high court judge erred by relying on a preliminary objection that was filed on behalf of the President by the AGF, to dismiss the suit. The appellants argued that "the AGF or a lawyer in his office cannot appear or file processes for the 1st defendant." Besides, they urged the Court of Appeal to determine, "whether the learned trial judge was right in holding that the suit was statute-barred by computing the number of days from the 28th day of September 2018 when the 2nd respondent held its primary election wherein the 1st respondent was elected as a candidate of the 2ndrespondent? "Arising from the foregoing it is our submission that the learned trial judge was, with respect, wrong to have held that the objection to the representation by the Attorney General and ipso facto the processes was belated in that there was no objection to the appearance of the law officers and that the Appellants reacted to the processes filed. A court must be guided by the process before it. "Howbeit, is further submitted that it is settled law that the issue of competence of proceedings or a process cannot be waived when the challenge goes to the fundamental nature of the process and not merely on a procedural aspect of the process. "In the circumstances of the foregoing, we urge Your Lordship to hold that the reliance of the court on the processes and the refusal to strike them out was wrong. "Further, we urge Your Lordship to reverse the decision of the court, assume original jurisdiction on the matter and strike out all the processes filed by the 1st respondent's counsel. "By Section 31(5) of the Electoral Act, it is the information given by the 1st respondent, the candidate to the 3rd respondent that is the subject matter of this suit. "It is, with respect, inconceivable that, in the light of the clear and express provisions of Section 31 of the Electoral Act and the reliefs sought, the court reasoned that the appellants could be challenging the information set out in a document submitted to a political party by an aspirant. "It is, with respect, self-evident that Section 285(9) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) cannot be referable to an event occurring at the primary election of a party since the document in issue is a post-primary document. "In the instant case it is our submission that the cause of action is not yet complete until the time, any person, in this case, the appellants, has reasonable grounds to believe that any information given by a candidate in the affidavit or any document submitted by that candidate is false as provided in Section 31(5) of the Electoral Act. The document in issue in the context of the overall provision of Section 31 is only referable to a document submitted to the 3rd respondent which is the one exhibited and referred to in all the processes before the court. "That the court assumes jurisdiction over the suit and grants the reliefs sought at the lower court since we have demonstrated in paragraph 2:7 above that there is no counter affidavit known to law in opposition to the Originating Summons and ipso facto the reliefs sought," the appellants added.  | ||

Thus, corruption money, unlike before now, no longer circulates or sip down to the common people. It has been hijacked privatised and held down by the jugular by these few elements at the precincts and corridors of temporary power. "More importantly, Buhari should dust up the over 600 ground-breaking recommendations of the 2014 National Conference scripted by 491 delegates from across Nigeria (wherein I was a Federal Government delegate, and voted "Cicero of the 2014 National Conference") and implement them. The Anambra State Police Command, said they have arrested the suspected killer of Chinasa Pauline Agbata, a female student of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.Mr. Haruna Mohammed, the police command spokesperson, confirmed this in a statement in Awka, and said that the suspect, Onudili Sontochukwu, was nabbed following discreet investigation.The Spokesperson said, "It would be recalled that on the 20/3/2019, one Chinasa Pauline Agbata 'f', student of UNIZIK, was murdered and dumped at the school gate same date at about 7:30pm, The Sun News reports.READ ALSO: 300-level Abia State University Student Raped & Stabbed In School Hostel.."Following the incident, Police detectives attached to the Command Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) launched aggressive manhunt of perpetrators and arrested one Onudili Sontochukwu 'm' aged 25years on the 2/6/2019."He said the suspect was assisting the Police with useful information that could help in unraveling circumstances surrounding the incident.The PPRO also confirmed the arrest of two persons for allegedly abducting two undergraduate students in the state. He said, "On the 3/6/2019 at about 5:15 pm, Police detectives attached to the Command Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) arrested at Osisioma Aba in Abia State, one Kingsley Ugorji 'm' aged 33 years and Joseph Darlington 'm' aged 25 years following discrete investigation. "Suspects who specialize in abducting university students using various tricks allegedly conspired and kidnapped one Obinna favour 'm' aged 18 years on 27/5/2019 and equally kidnapped one Amakaeze Luke 'm' aged 22 years on the 31/5/2019." The veteran comedian who spent 3-hours in traffic yesterday took to Instagram to share his idea.  His post reads ; Spent 3 hours today… and came to the conclusion again, that we are the cause of our problems. After the #tdwcafrica2019 at Landmark, I was on the road linking Ligali, going back to my office and noticed there was a gridlock. My driver said it will soon clear. When soon turned to 35 minutes, I came down and walked through the vehicles to see the cause of the HOLD UP was. 4 lanes coming from Ligali towards Landmark and 5 lanes filtering onto the end of Ligali. Plus traffic from 3 streets pouring into the same road. The little spaces inbetween cars were all taken over by okada riders. While the spaces wider than those okadas could squeeze through had been pegged close by keke Napep. Managed to merge 4 lanes to 2 and 3 lanes in the opposite direction, to form 1 lane, just to decongest the gridlock. Worked. And after 2 hours, decorum had resumed. Hmmm. A thought hit me. If @jidesanwoolu wants to make extra N200b to develop Lagos, he should just invest in CCTVs at major and busy junctions. With STOP signs to boot. Borrow money fix the roads and drainages. Then set up a system that will get drivers and vehicles to be linked together. When you are caught on tape, beating the traffic lights or breaking traffic laws, you will just get the alert that the payment has been deducted from your account. To make this work, each car will have its registration number linked to the BVN of the owner. No need to set up any other means of collecting the money. And if you sell the car, you must go to the licensing office to change the BVN. Failure to do that means whoever drives the car and commits an offence, will not be debited. The original owner pays. If it's a military vehicle, the debit comes from the military account. Same with corporate bodies. Individuals too. You can imagine Oga is sitting at home, in Ikoyi, and he gets a debit alert for traffic infractions in Lekki PHASE 1, N45,000. How? He will call the driver or whoever is with the car. Kilode? "I beat red lights sir". Just sack yourself. And it doesn't matter whether you have money in the account. The account will be on debit. Any day money comes in it will be deducted with interest. President Buhari has described residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), as a necessary evil he must protect even though they did not vote for him and his Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo in 2019 general elections. The President said this today June 4th when FCT permanent secretary, Christian Ohaa, led a delegation of Abuja residence comprising religious leaders, National Assembly members, civil servants, service chiefs and heads of other security agencies among others to pay him Sallah homage to mark the successful completion of this year's Ramadan fast.

The singer who recently released an album "Moral Instruction", in which some tracks took shots at moral decadence in the Nigerian society said this in an interview with Silverbird television. He said: "I'm not an atheist. I believe there is a God. But I believe in spirituality over religion." Falz's mother, Funmi Falana had complained about his persistence absence from church services, after his 2019 debut album was released. "Folarin, you don't go to church and I am bothered. I hope you would start going to church this year," Fumi said. However, Falz said in the interview: "I have nothing against the church or going to church. Everyone has the right to practice the religion they desire. It has been a while that I have been to church. It does not make me less of a Christian," Falz had said in reaction. "The reason is that I went to a few churches and, during sermons, I was put under undue pressure. There was a time that a pastor called me to the altar just to acknowledge my presence for being in church. "In my mind, I felt that the service was not about me. I felt that everybody was there to worship God, yet they were putting undue pressure on me. The pastor gave me the microphone to address the congregation and I was puzzled; what did he expect me to say to the congregation?" On the criticisms that greeted the release of the album, Falz said "My songs are always going to be heard. The world is a lot smaller now; it only takes one post and it's everywhere regardless of the attempts by powers that be to try to stop stuff here and there." Chief Olabode George, former National Vice Chairman of the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has disclosed that the party's governorship candidate in Lagos State in the last election, Jimi Agbaje, appears to have joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.The PDP Chietain also disclosed that Agbaje failed in the last election because 'he thinks he knows it all', adding that it was Lagos people that worked against him.Bode George said that Agbaje originally come from the APC and had been part of the ruling party in the state from the beginning.According to the PDP leader, any member of the party that wants to leave should go, adding that Sen. "Let the leaders face national issues; you cannot know my house more than me. The suspect claimed he had warned the deceased several times to desist from making advances to his wife which he refused but went further to provoke him beyond reason, so he attacked him with a machete, inflicted deep cuts on his head which resulted to his death.
