| Chris Brown and Davido shared picture together as they prepare to release new music Posted: 26 Jul 2019 12:00 AM PDT  American R&B singer, Chris Brown, who is set to release a new song 'Blow My Mind' with Davido, shared this photo of them posing together. See photo below ; Davido announced a collaboration with American pop star Chris Brown on a new song and the song will be Chris Brown's second collaboration with a Nigerian artiste – the first was with Wizkid in 2014 and 2017.  Recently, Davido announced that he is featuring Justin Bieber on his forthcoming project. He made this known in an interaction with his jeweller IceBoxx where he copped another bling to his already impressive collection.According to the "Fall" crooner, who only weeks ago revealed himself and Chris Brown will be dropping a new song titled "Blow My Mind", added that he has a couple of international acts on his new album. He said he has featured acts such as Quavo, Meek Mill, Migos, Lil Baby, Gunna, and Justin Bieber. The Davido Music World (DMW) boss said his fan should expect the album to be released in the current month, July.  | ||

Singer Ariana Grande seems set to purchase more than just seven rings this year, as HopperHQ also revealed she had "joined the list for the first time" – sliding swiftly into second place with $996,000 per post. Although Grande has 19 million more followers than Jenner (Grande has 159 million while Jenner has 140 million), HopperHQ says the data collected "considers factors such as average engagement, how often they post, industry variables and number of followers". Other names on the Rich List were similar to the names on the 2018 list, including footballer Cristiano Ronaldo with $975,000 as well as many of Jenner's sisters. Kim Kardashian came in at fourth place with $910,000, while her other siblings were slightly lower down the list with Kendall at 13th with $611,000 and Khloe Kardashian with $598,000. | Queen Wokoma’s hubby rushed to the hospital after failed suicide attempt Posted: 25 Jul 2019 10:30 PM PDT  Actress, Queen Wokoma's estranged husband, Prince Kalada Allison, who shared a suicide note on his Instagram page last night, is currently on admission in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, after a failed suicide attempt. According to his close friends, he attempted to take his life but was quickly rescued and rushed to the hospital where he is currently being treated. His friends say Allison became depressed after his one-year marriage to Queen packed up a few months ago. According to them, this will be the third time Allison is attempting suicide.   | ||

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has become a style icon for the male folks but Emma Ugolee is cautioning his fans not to pressure themselves to keep up with Ebuka's style. Adesua Etomi had mentioned the need for a celebrity Big Brother Naija housemate, and nominated Speed Darlington to fill up for it in a follow-up tweet.  Reacting to the tweet however, Speed Darlington stated that the show is not for him because it was copied from white people. The man sent a tweet to the singer, requesting that she attends his wedding to make his wife's day more special. OluwaLamzy said that he knows he cannot afford to pay Simi's fee for her to attend his wedding. He pleaded with the singer to attend, saying he would do anything she wants. The singer replied to the husband-to-be, asking for his wedding date. He tweeted at her, revealing that his wedding would take place on Saturday, August 31. To OluwaLamzy's surprise, the singer asked him to continue the conversation in her direct message. Nigerians, who saw the talented singer's reply to the husband-to-be, praised her for her generosity. Montoya, 23, already had a degree, then went back to school to further her education. Shortly after, she discovered she was pregnant with twins and was advised to leave school. But she persevered and carried the burden alone. She recently graduated with her second bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Sonography and aasters in Health Science.  Sharing her story, she wrote: I ALMOST GAVE UP! The Devil really had me. NOTHING could have prepared me for the journey that I've been through…Our program started off with 26 people and I am now 1 of 17 that will be graduating. 5 months after starting my graduate program I found out that I was pregnant. When I told my program director I was expecting he told me I should just take time off and come back next year because it was going to be too hard to finish the program with a baby and "nearly impossible" to do it with two. I went to class every single day literally until the day I gave birth. I was determined to finish. Only after a week of giving birth via c section I was back in class because i was told it was "unacceptable that I missed a week of school" Who would've known that for the next 15 months I would endure the hardest year of my life.  Being a mother is hard enough but being a single mother to two kids while being a full time student and living away from family and friends literally having no physical support is a different type of hard. I did it all by myself I woke up at 5 AM to get my kids to daycare as soon as the doors opened to be at the hospital for rotations at 7 AM everyday and still being responsible for online work. I honestly thought dropping out would be the best choice for me, but I knew I couldn't let my kids down and I was only giving the devil what he wanted. I knew I would not only disappoint myself but everyone who was rooting for me. I worked so hard y'all , it was times I cried myself to sleep and asked God why was I alone. Why was I raising two kids alone with no family or friends here to support me while trying to put myself through school But he had a plan for me, and WE made it! I persisted , I finished. I have achieved not one but TWO degrees Two years,two kids and TWO degrees later. By Gods grace… we didn't just do it , WE MASTERED IT!!!! John Katana , who is the frontman of the Chakacha Kenyan band, Them Mushrooms, who helped coin "Hakuna Matata, t ells TMZ he and a bunch of other Kenyans noticed Bey didn't include any local artists (big or small) in her new 'Lion King' album, "The Gift", a self-described "love letter" to Africa.  While the Disney folks tapped tons of other African artists that are hot and poppin' in their own countries, for example, Nigerian pop star WizKid, Ghanaian producer Shatta Wale, Nigerian singer Burna Boy, South African artists Busiswa and Moonchild Sanelly, Nigerian stars Tekno, Yemi Alade and Mr Eazi — they excluded Keynans. Considering a lot of the scenery, culture and language used in '94's and 2019's "The Lion King" appears to come straight FROM Kenya (or at least East Africa). John says he and lots of other Kenyan creatives found it puzzling not one of 'em made the cut for "The Gift." John and music critics alike have noted the omission, and he's super bummed about it, especially since he says no one from Disney even reached out to the "Hakuna Matata" OGs. A petition was started last year that called for Disney to drop its trademark over "Hakuna Matata," which is a well-known Swahili phrase that John and co. claim to have popularized in their '80s platinum hit, "Jambo Bwana." According to the Prince David Osei, he refused to kiss an actress while on set because she had a very bad mouth odor. The handsome actor revealed that the lady's mouth smelled like a manhole and refused to kiss her. Prince David Osei added that he prompted the director and told him that he had a bleeding gum and cannot kiss the lady. "We are all doing creative work so you can't have a bad mouth and body odor and come closer to me. It's my health so I won't do it, I will prompt the director and tell him I have a bleeding gum. I did it to some girl on set. Her mouth was smelling so bad like manhole and told the director that I won't kiss her. It was smelling so bad. I got close to her during the rehearsal and her breath alone was so bad so I decided not to kiss her", Prince David Osei revealed. The 'ladies man' also indicated that he is very particular about such romantic scenes due to this unfortunate incident. He also noted that he has never been aroused on set because he always zones himself into the character.
