Man calls out Skiibii for stealing his song "Daz How Stars Do"
A man identified as izyungmixx on Instagram took to his page to make a video revealing that Nigerian singer, Skiibii stole his song 'Daz how star do' and modified it, making it his own song.

"You Skiibii, I dey vex for you o, like for real men, you're fucking up bro. I did a song for you bro and you can't even do me a favor by reposting on your story. Just on your story, you can't do it and you still went ahead and still sing the same thing

"Check my cloud and check the date of when you drop 'Daz how star do' it's not the same. Tell am make he come pay me my money for my song o, I no dey play with Skiibii."

A social media user who commented on the video on Instablog naija's page, insinuated that the guy was on drugs. The person wrote: "Codeine x loud isn't good for you."

Though the guy didn't look or sound serious, he could actually have been serious with his accusation against Skiibii and if that is true, then it was totally wrong on Skiibii's part.

NIDCOM debunks Report Saying it Asked MTN, Shoprite & DStv to Stop Operations in Nigeria

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has reacted to a report alleging that after a meeting with the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), it came into a conclusion that MTN, Shoprite and DStv should stop operations in Nigeria and quit the business environment in seven days.

Reacting to the news, NIDCOM released a statement on Twitter, saying:


Our attention has been drawn to a publication being circulated by @Nairametrics today the 8th of August 2019 that a meeting held yesterday between the Chairman/CEO of @nidcom and @NANSNIG ended with a resolution that @MTNNG @DStvNG @Shoprite_NG should quit business.

We want to categorically state that such news is false and malicious as no resolution or demand like that was made during the meeting. The Chairman of NIDCOM, Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa made an appeal at a joint Press Conference Wednesday in Abuja to the Leadership of NANS.

And emphasized that justice must be done and must be quick too. Mr Tayo Faniran, Big Brother Africa Star who was brutalized by South African Police sued for peace as he is championing the call for an end to Xenophobia in South Africa.

We call on the general public to disregard any information that states otherwise. Thank you.

Nigerian Afro-fusion artiste, Burna Boy, was recently celebrated by the Recording Academy on social media.

Nigerian music is no doubt getting more attention that it used to get in recent times as it now appeals to a foreign audience.

One of the top Nigerian musicians, Burna Boy, has undoubtedly been making huge strides in the entertainment industry as his career has seen a great leap in recent times.

The hit maker was one of the six Nigerian artistes to be featured on Beyonce's latest album, Lion King: The Gift. The track he featured on is titled Ja ra e.

Like that is not enough, Burna was recently recognised and praised by the Recording Academy better known as the Grammys.

Bobrisky reacts to call for the arrest by Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike

Earlier on Friday, August 9, 2019, a news had filtered on social media about Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, declaring a notorious criminal known as Bobrisky wanted.

Wike had also placed a N30 million bounty on his head. He urged anyone who has information about the man that could lead to his arrest to come forward with such information. A lot of people went into panic mode because they thought it was the controversial social media barbie, Bobrisky, he was referring to but alas, it is not.

The news eventually made the rounds to the internet sensation who was quite surprised at the information. He made it clear that he wasn't the one the governor was looking for and bashed bloggers who were tagging his photos in the stories they wrote on it.

He also made a revelation about being happy to have turned into a woman two years ago. All this accompanied a screenshot of the criminal story on his page with a caption which reads,

Tacha and Joe had a heated argument which led to name calling and almost turned physical before other housemates intervened.

A Video of Tacha and Joe trying to get into a physical fight has surfaced on the internet. The altercation between Tacha and Joe has got concerned Nigerians talking and some think Joe did too much by intentionally getting on Tacha's nerves.

Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, Housemate Seyi on Thursday night got a shocking response from fellow housemate Tacha when he put a request across to her.


Seyi who had recently told Biggie his intention and level of relationship with Tacha approached her on Thursday and requested she shares his Head of House room with him so they could cuddle for the night.

Seyi asked: "I want to cuddle. Would it be a bad idea for you to sleep in my bed?"

Tacha in response denied his offer as she called Seyi as 'Yoruba Demon.'

According to her, she is too much for Seyi and he picked Esther over her

This did not go down well but resulted into an argument which had Seyi telling Elozam that Tacha came with a strategy to the house but has failed.

Seyi told Elo that Tacha came with a script before the secret room thing but this did not go down well with Tacha who took offense, picked an argument and left Seyi.

According to her, she thought Seyi really knew her well and let him into her personal space, hence the reason why she's hurt.

Ifu Ennada pleaded for redemption as she narrated a scenario that played out in her head after she saw a 'shirtless hot guy' from her balcony.

The reality show star revealed that she suffered a variety of abuse in the hands of relatives, a former employer, people she trusted and also grew up in an environment where men beat their wives for no reason just to prove a point. All these took a toll on her and left thinking that men were monsters while growing up.

Ifu Ennada also revealed that sometimes she imagines herself having kids through a surrogate just so she won't disrupt her life and future with the problems that come with being in a relationship with a man.

She wrote;

My people I think I legit need redemption. So this just happened – From my balcony I saw a shirtless hot guy and went "oh my goodness, this guy is sweet…" I started thinking of the things that could be, but in that same breath I quickly said "abeg nothing dey there jare, dis one go be like the rest."

When I went back inside I reflected on my actions and just marveled at how far I've come in blocking men out of my life. Do you know that sometimes I imagine myself having kids through a surrogate just so that I don't disrupt my life and future with the problems that come with being in a relationship with a man?

But can anyone really blame me? I grew to watching and hearing countless news of 72 year old men raping 3yrs old girls and getting away with it. Sadly, this is still a norm in my country. I grew up in an environment where men beat their wives for no reason just to prove a point – I still can't tell what the point is. I have suffered a variety of abuse in the hands of relatives, a former employer and even people I trusted. As a young child everywhere I looked, the society made it seem like only men had the power to make wealth and even the women didn't help… So how can anyone even blame me for the way that I am? —

Growing up I felt men were monsters, it also didn't help that the government was/is run by mostly men who have eveything but good thoughts for Nigeria, so I was a very f*cked up kid even though I was/am a bright Star. I was a Rebel. —

I have been trying to make adjustments but I don't think my redemption will happen in one day.

Lady hides boyfriend’s engagement ring to stop him from proposing to her

She said that the incident occurred 5 years ago and she broke up with her then boyfriend one week after she hid the ring.

She however admitted having commitment issues at that time, but added that she is better person now after going through therapy for it.

Anambra State indigenes residing in Malaysia have lamented that their females are mostly into the embarrassing trade of prostitution in the Asian country.

This was made known by the chairman of the Anambra State Welfare Association Malaysia, Okwunwanne Mmaduka, while speaking at a press conference on Awka on thursday August 8th.

According to Okwunwanne, it has become a "huge concern, embarrassing and unbearable."

"We have rescued most of them and sent them back to Nigeria, while some others have been sent to school in Malaysia by us. The trend is giving us a bad name in that country. ASWAM is disturbed by the increasing cases of Anambra State women and girls in Malaysia falling victims of sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation."

"ASWAM is therefore, employing community-based and state-wide campaigns to combat the menace. We are taking the campaigns to families, communities and traditional institutions here in Anambra State.

"We are raising awareness among our young people, parents, government and the public on the dangers therein. All hands must be on deck in this fight," he said

He also revealed that Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano, has been alerted on the situation and efforts are being put on place to resensitize the females. to resensitize their female folks.

A friend of mine asked me the other day if I had written a goodbye letter to my former life, my memories, my ex. When she brought the idea up, I got immediate chills and a touch of anxiety.I wonder why that is.

I used to have a very different life. I had a husband and a family. I had someone who lived here and i felt loved me full time. I had a future I was counting on. A lifetime of companionship, family vacations, milestones, laughter, and love but all to no avail as i felt deflated for many years and now its all gone.In the past, I have blogged about stuff as it comes up, but no real goodbyes yet.

Many times i felt miserable on the inside and cried my life out day and night in my room alone but as time went on, i outgrew the my reality i was passing through the years.I want to use this medium to thank my ex-husband for not prolonging the hardship and now i have to face the world on my own. Our son will forever be a representation of you in my life…

Thank you for the lessons you taught me over the years. I wasn't sure what to write, who to write to or what my angle would be.But I know who I need to say goodbye to now with certainty.Lastly, without hate or animosity, i look back at the past five years and all i can do is thank you. Davido Music World (DMW) artiste, Mayorkun, has called on people to cultivate the habit of shaving their armpit hair.

The "True" crooner made the call through a video he uploaded on his social media account.

The pianist in his opinion, regard those who fail to shave their armpit as dirty individuals who he has advised to change.

In the video, the singer was seen flaunting his shaven armpit.

"Am I the only one that thinks that if you get hair for armpit, you are a dirty person," he said.

US rapper claims he has slept with 1000 women in the last six months
American rapper, Blueface who is currently in a relationship with two women has revealed he has slept with 1000 women in the last six- months.

The 22-year-old California rapper made the shocking claims during an interview with Los Angeles radio station Real 92.3 on Thursday, August 8.

When asked by Big Boy, "How many females you think you knocked down in the last six months?" Blueface responded, "1,000, I'm a f**ker."

He went on to explain how he was able to bed 1000 women in a short amount of time.

"It's like sometimes it might be a threesome, a foursome…I done had a fivesome!" Blue said. "[It was] me and four girls. It was pretty hard."

Bobrisky distances self from notorious criminal declared wanted in Rivers

Bobrisky, popular Nigerian male crossdresser, has distanced himself from the notorious criminal declared wanted by Rivers state government who also goes by his stage name, Bobrisky.

Governor Nyesom Wike yesterday announced a N30 million reward for anyone with credible information that will lead to the arrest of the criminal known as Bobrisky. The notorious criminal is said to have terrorised residents of Gokana local government area in the state for a very long time.

Reacting to the similarities in their names, the male cross dresser via his IG page, expressed his thanks to God that he turned into a woman two years ago. According to him, he would have been a suspect by now.
