Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM, Charlotte alleged that Africans are copying foreign things and living their lives like God doesn't exist again. "When ladies marry these days they do not think about prayer. They think about the bridesmaids they will get, the best men they will get and later the baby shower…I don't know where that thing is coming from. Now we are picking the foreign things and we inviting witches around", she said. "We are putting Christ aside and we are living our lives that is why we are seeing what we are seeing because we think God doesn't exist again. We think we have our right to do what we are doing…my dear before you came to this world God was already there", she added.  | ||

| Singer Obiwon: Money or children do not make a good marriage Posted: 11 Aug 2019 11:00 PM PDT  Nigerian singer Obiora Obiwon has taken to social media to narrate his experience as a married man. The singer shared his thoughts on what couples need to do to have a good married life. The singer, who shared his thoughts on his Instagram page, is also a songwriter and recording artiste. Singer Obiwon expressed that due to his experience as a married man, he noticed that money, intercourse, and children are not what makes a good marriage. He noted that the three things enhance marriage, but they do not form the foundation of marriage. According to Obiwon, two friends that are mutually yielded to God, and mutually submitted to each other make a good marriage. He noted that couples need to be humble and unselfish with each other. Obiwon stated that the three remaining things can be added after the foundation of a good marriage has been laid. His post reads: In my little years married and from what I've seen, I realise: 1. Money does not make a good marriage 2. Great sex does not make a good marriage 3. Children do not make a good marriage Surely these three things enhance marriage but they do not form the foundation. I opine that ultimately a good marriage is made of: 1. Two friends . 2. Fully and mutually yielded to God . 3. Fully and mutually submitted to each other; yielding humbly and unselfishly to one another – daily. That to me is the foundation that withstands every thing in the world and the imperfections of our human nature. After these then the first 3 can be added as the icing on the cake. | Pastor Adeboye — What God told me about Osinbajo’s helicopter crash Posted: 11 Aug 2019 10:00 PM PDT  Pastor Enoch Adeboye while preaching at the Holy Ghost Service of the Redeemed Christian Church of God 67th Annual Convention on Friday August 9, recalled how God told him about the danger Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was in before the helicopter crash he survived in February with his team in Kabba area of Kogi State. According to the RCCG General Overseer, God whispered to him while in his prayer room that his son (Yemi Osinbajo) was in danger.  "I got the message but I didn't know how to present it," he said. "He was going around on political campaigns so I didn't know how to stop him. I also didn't want him to be scared so I resorted to praying for him." The General Overseer said he prayed for two minutes, repeating "Father, protect your son," four times. Recall that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in his testimony after the February crash he escaped unhurt, said he did not understand why the pastor repeated the prayer of safety for him. "I briefed him on the progress we have made with the campaign and then the General Overseer prayed for God's protection for me in all my travels and movements. "That was not what the devil had planned but what did the headline read, Vice President Osinbajo's helicopter crashes all unhurt, not one crash," Osinbajo said during a thanksgiving service in Lokoja.  | ||
