Blackface warns 2face, Ruggedman and Faze never to perform Plantashun Boiz songs

Blackface of the defunct boy band Plantashun Boiz has sent a cease and desist letter to 2baba, Faze and Ruggedman.

The singer took to his Instagram page to share a copy of the a cease and desist letter prepared by his legal team for Nigerian rapper, Ruggedman and former members of the now-defunct boyband 2baba and Faze.

According to the letter, Ruggedman has a show "The Foundation Concert & Awards" coming up on the 31st of September,2019 and 2baba and Faze have been scheduled to perform at the event.

The letter is to prevent them from performing any song by the Plantashun Boiz without his permission being the founder and main songwriter in the group.

Blackface explained that over the years Faze and 2baba have on several occasions, performed materials of Plantashun Boiz without proper predation and rehearsals and this has damaged the reputation of the band. The letter further stated that legal action would be taken if the singers do not heed to the warnings.

He wrote "'Over the years this act of going to perform materials of #PlantashunBoiz at events without rehearsals and proper preparations has prompted me and my legal team to sound this as an advice to @ruggedybaba

@2baba_official1 & @fazealone not to continue damaging the image of the #band and concentrate on performing works solely made by them individually and none from the #band or written by myself…thank you."

AY and wife react after follower said she looked unhappy on husband’s birthday

Comedian AY has replied an IG user who questioned his wife's look on his birthday. It all started when the comedian shared a video of his wife Mabel singing a birthday song to him as he celebrated his 48th birthday.

However, he was dragged into an exchange with a follower who alleged that she looked unhappy.

Commenting on the video, the follower stated that Mabel looked unhappy when everyone else is celebrating her husband. She further asked her to put on a big smile for him.

Why does she look so unhappy ,were celebrating here not otherwise.pls put on a big smile for AY the grand master of laughter.

AY in his response to the comment, pointed out the follower's 'unsolicited concern' while blaming his wife's look on travelling for hours.

He wrote;

@jo.sephine281 when you travel for hours and land very early in the morning, don't expect too much. The smile you are looking for in one video, i have been getting for 15 years. Thanks for your unsolicited concern


Mabel reacted to the comment and also backed her husband on her tired look being because she was jet-lagged. She wrote;

My husband reposted a video of myself wishing him happy birthday and someone commented on his page saying i looked so unhappy. Truth is, sometimes things are not really the way we see them. There i was feeling very tired from a long flight that i wasnt really prepared for,jet lag and the time difference didn't make it any easier for me coupled with the fact that i had to follow up on everything happening back at home.

My husband enjoys me singing for him. Knowing that i wasnt physically present and i really wanted his birthday to be special, i decided to make a video. Whoever you are @jo.sephine hopefully this solves the puzzle in your head.

Bobrisky has disclosed how many boyfriends he has at the moment but is threatening to dump some of them because of the troubles they bring.

The crossdresser, who is planning his 28th birthday, shared a video where he was dancing on Instagram, and thanked all his boyfriends for contributing to his upcoming birthday celebration.

He wrote: "Thanks to all my boyfriends for spending on me. Someone was asking me one day that how many boyfriends did I have. Anyways my boyfriends are just 24. I'm deleting some because they are becoming annoying and useless dis days."

In another post, he explained what each boyfriend is meant for, writing:

Newly evicted housemate Joe disclosed during his interview with Ebuka that he thinks Gedoni does not like Khafi.

Controversial Nigerian fashion designer, Toyin Lawani has taken to Instagram to expose the private messages some men sent to her 14 year old daughter, Tiannah.

The serial nudist and entrepreneur called them out on social media with the words;

National Council for Arts and Culture lodges complaint with NBC over sex in #BBNaijaHouse

The Federal Government, through the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) has lodged a complaint with the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) against the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality show.
 
According to Punch, Otunba Segun Runsewe, the Director-General of NCAC disclosed this when paid a visit by the President of the National Council of Women Societies, Dr Gloria Shoda.

Runsewe said there are plans for the launch of an alternative reality show where the true Nigerian culture will be shown, Nigerian food will be eaten and Nigerian outfits worn.

It is also expected that the NCAC will re-present the 2008 Nudity Bill titled "A Bill for an Act to punish and prohibit nudity, sexual intimidation and other-related offences in Nigeria" sponsored by the former chairperson, Senate Committee on Women and Youth, Eme Ekaette.

Runsewe said:

We are going to represent that bill You can't fight a battle without a legal framework; we are definitely going to be conscious of that".

I will take up the issue of Big Brother Naija; I have spoken with officials of the National Broadcasting Commission because what is going on now is terrible. Having love affairs on screen is not part of our own culture at all.

Let me use this forum to tell Nigerians that a new Big Brother Naija is on its way coming and we are working with Startimes. We are doing BBN that will reflect the true Nigerian culture. We are already working on it, all that will be eaten there will be Nigerian food, the dresses will be Nigerian dresses.

Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson revealed he smokes $40,000 worth of pot every month, around ten tons of weed, on his podcast this week.

The 52-year-old also sells around $500,000 worth of cannabis each month from his 420-acre ranch in California, he said on his Hotboxin' podcast on Monday.

'I can't believe we're doing this,' Tyson told his co-hosts, 'I can't believe I'm talking, smoking on a f***ing podcast.'

The fighter has bold plans for his Tyson Ranch, a playground for stoners which will feature a luxury hotel and golf course.

Tyson says that weed saved him when he was spiraling with severe substance abuse and so he founded his cannabis company in 2016 to make weed accessible.


He sells an array of high-grade strains and marijuana merchandise such as this grinder and tray.

The ranch broke ground in December 2017 but is yet to be fully built and as well as the hotel, there will be glamping tents, the longest lazy river that will take a full hour to cross, and an amphitheater for music concerts and festivals.

There will even be a Tyson University to teach cannabis-cultivation techniques to future farmers.

'I thought about how much good I could do by helping people with cannabis. It was a no-brainer,' Tyson said on the business venture to Cannabis Tech Today.

Few days after Adediwura Gold got engaged 12 years after her divorce, the actress has revealed that she dated her partner for 3 years before they decided to take their relationship a step further.

Chioma, the girlfriend to DMW boss, Davido, has debunked the reports that she is pregnant and will be putting to bed soon.

Nollywood actress Rita Dominic has fired at a fan who attempted to be funny at her own expense.

In a post, the actress had stated that it would have been nice to see more of BBNaija's Joe, who recently got evicted from the Pepper Dem Gang season.

In response to her post, an Instagram user identified as Zubeidah had suggested that the actress should invite the evicted housemate over if she wanted to see and enjoy more of him like her post stated.

Irritated by the insinuation hidden in the comment, Rita responded by calling out the Instagram user.

It is interesting to see how people defend their love for a particular housemate and how it unsettles some others who believe the housemate doesn't deserve the kind of love that they are getting.
