Transgender to compete in a beauty pageant in Ghana with other ladies this year

25-year-old Nigerian Transgender who identifies as Veso Golden Oke will be competing in a beauty pageant in Ghana with other ladies this year.

According to the source, favytalk, It was gathered that Veso is now officially recognised as the first trans woman allowed to compete openly in a beauty pageant in Africa, and if she eventually wins it, she'll represent Ghana at Miss Europe Continental in Italy.


Veso Golden Oke works in Ghana and has the support of her parents.

Recall awhile ago pictures of the Nigerian transgender based in Ghana went viral on social media. The trans-woman who's a hairstylist, event planner and makeup artiste made waves after declaring self open transwoman last year.

Oke who used to be a man where he was known as Messiah Oke Veso. Apparently, he was born to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother, into an Anglican family. He left Nigeria in 2014 and changed his gender afterwards.

According to him, he was born as a young child with male genitals and the doctor announced to her mother that she was male but growing up, Oke realized he wasn't fitting into his body and it was traumatizing. Until he discovered transitioning through an ex-girlfriend she was dating at the time.

Nigerian singer Davido probably isn't aware of how much influence he has in the jewelry industry. Just recently, the famous 30BG diamond chain was spotted in Lagos traffic and the seller was willing to part with it for N4,000.

By now, everyone knows that the authentic version of the 30BG chain worn by Davido and the rest of his crew cost millions of naira. However, on the streets of Lagos, anyone can join the 30 Billion Gang movement with just N4,000.


While OBO might find this hilarious, there is likely a business opportunity to be recognised, if he were to trademark the name and start branding items with it. With his huge fan base, he is set to cash out in the fashion industry with the 30BG brand.

However, it is still hilarious that anyone would present someone else's brand as theirs and sell it for much less. In the video clip which is now making rounds on the internet, the seller can be heard claiming that the piece is authentic.

Davido reacts to report that he’s on the list of top tax defaulters In Nigeria

The Federal Inland Service (FIRS) on Monday August 19, published a list of 19,901 individuals and organisations, who default on tax payment in Nigeria.

Owners of the 19,901 accounts including Obasanjo Farms Nig. Ltd (Feedmill); Iyiola Omisore & Par; Citiroof Aluminium Co. Ltd; Coldstone Creamery Limited (Yaba); Davido Music Worldwide Ltd; and others were given 29 days to pay their taxes or see it get deducted from their bank accounts.

Reacting to the news, Davido took to Twitter to simply say, 'Lol I'm on my cash shit'.

Rapper Ikechukwu almost died on Saturday

Rapper Ikechukwu has narrated how he almost died but was saved by an Uber driver he ordered to rush him to a hospital after he suffered food poisoning.

"So i almost died on Saturday.
Went to bed early but woke up round 2 cos i felt no.2 coming. Im on the throne waiting for the poop to poop. Omo nothing o but pain in stomach was on a rise. Next thing cramping turns to biting on the inside. To point i couldnt stand.

All alone in My house , i start calling random friends. Nobody pick. At this point i strip and put my stomach on my marble floor to cool the temp becos it was blazing hot. And i couldnt move. Pains getting worse and worse. I start vomiting. At that point i call my gateman to come help me.

That one also didnt pick. Dozing . na so i just order uber. When the guy arrived i had him wake my stupid gateman. He helped me walk to the car and i made it to the hospital near my crib. I rush inside and collapse. I cant even explain to them so i start pointing. Thank God.

The doctor smart. He pumped me with extreme painkillers and antibiotics. Na so my vision just blurrr and lost feeling in my legs and basically passed out while still conscious if that makes sense to u.

So apparently my brother in law who is a gastroenterologist calls back my Missed call and the doctor answers and tells him. Bro in law gets my bro and his wife to go pick me from there and take me to another hospital for stomach scans. I don't remember any of that. When they ruled out appendicitis they concluded on acute food poisoning.

And moved me to the Third hospital where my older sis in law who is in from Yankee took over. And resuscitated me to live. My stubborn head forcing them to discharge me the following day cos I could see and walk and I hate hospitals. Now the reason I'm sharing this is the story could've been different.

U could've been reading about my death this weekend. Life is quite unpredictable and precious. We spend so much time chasing after things we believe will provide happiness and comfort but the truth is we keep missing out on enjoying life as it is.

We have allowed ourselves get lost in A race that can truly never be won cos there's always a bigger better race and we teach ourselves to never be satisfied. All that shit gotta end. I'm smelling the roses, I'm thanking God for keeping me and I am gonna take life easy, appreciate everything as little ad they come.

However, comments about Nigerians and those trolling you seems to be coming from your emotional place, a very deep one. Remember, all Nigerians cannot like you – just the same way you cannot like everyone. The question is why do you think those who don't like you don't?

I've taken my time to read through your comments on twitter and Instagram, Cuppy… you know what, you're loved and appreciated by many, the few people who seem not to love you have two things in common; they don't like you because they feel you're not talented 'in singing', and secondly, your father is too rich for them to believe, hence they beef what you have for they simply don't have your father as theirs.

I've also had issues with your singing ability in the past, but you've proven yourself to be a work in progress and you've moved from that lady who struggles while singing to being a commander-in-chief of music – at DJ level. As a matter of fact, you're better than most of your counterparts in the industry.

Most Nigerian DJs just make a hell of noise in their own music than to drop a meaningful verse, but this isn't you, Cuppy gives us reasonable lyrics and sings her heart out in her own songs. Unlike many DJs who feature musicians to dominate their songs for them, your own type of feature is different, you collaborate with them and share the verses, and still deliver stunningly, despite being a DJ.

If anyone feels the need to label you talentless, I'm sure they are the ones who don't understand what it means to be talented. They need to check out your collaboration with Tekno on 'Green Light', your duet with Sarkodie on 'Vybe', just to mention a few, may be they will have a change of mind, calm their heads and grab 'Gelato'.

And for those trolling you for your father's wealth, you have no reason to bother yourself about them. Many people will troll you for being a rich kid, and just for absolutely nothing. Is it your fault your father, Femi Otedola is wealthy? On August 17, 2019, Nigerian singer, Wizkid teased a new single, 'Ride It' which featured Ty Dolla Sign.

A few days after having only 6.9 million monthly listeners on Spotify, the Nigerian singer has soared in numbers to hit eight million monthly listeners on the platform.

By so doing, Wizkid became the first African to achieve the feat. The previous record was held by Congolese rapper and singer, Maitre Gims. He had seven million monthly listeners.

Kizz Daniel Reportedly Impregnate Davido’s Ex-girlfriend

Crooner, Kizz Daniel's girlfriend, Adedamola, an Instagram model and a graduate of Afe Babalola University is rumoured to be pregnant for him but not yet showing because she is still in her first trimester.


According to the report, Adedamola has informed Kizz Daniel of the pregnancy and he has told her to keep it. They both agreed she would keep it but she is scared because she still lives with her parents and does not know what their reaction would be.

Sources said Adedamola who is really scared and considering abortion but scared of the consequences has confided in her close Friends in case anything happens to her to know whom to hold responsible if she decides to abort.


The above message was posted by Ade on her Insta-story on Monday and insiders say she is trying to muster courage to talk about her pregnancy.

I contacted her this morning on Instagram inbox and  asked to confirm the news. She replied Yes to my question of if she was pregnant for Kizz Daniel and added a rolling eyes emoji and then she unsent it and denied and asked if i had proof.

She also said, "Even if i was a baby mama to be, i wont say Yes that easily".

Adedamola was Davido's side piece until the crooner began to flaunt his love for Chioma online and Adedamola knew that her time had expired and she switched to Kizz Daniel who knew she was Davido's side piece.

When Davido found out he got really upset that Kizz was chopping his ex-side and that was why they had some small brouhaha.

The relationship between Adedamola and Kizz Daniel has been on and off and unstable like NEPA.

Any more denials can follow but one thing is certain, a baby is a beautiful gift from God. Congrats to them if they decide to keep it!
