Wadume Speaks Again, Says Bodies Of Slain Policemen Taken To Army Captain’s House

Posted: 25 Aug 2019 07:51 AM PDT

Alhaji Hamisu Balla, a.k.a Wadume

Alhaji Hamisu Balla, a.k.a Wadume, the suspected kidnap kingpin, who has been in the middle of the raging storm between the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Police over the murder of three police operatives and two civilians by soldiers in Ibi town, has revealed that the bodies of slain policemen were taken to the house of the army officer, who ordered the killing.

Wadume, who disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Vanguard, said the murdered policemen identified themselves before being killed by soldiers.

His words: "While I was being taken out of Ibi, Town, the policemen passed the first checkpoint which was being manned by some soldiers after they had identified themselves.

"They also passed the second checkpoint which was manned by some Mobile Policemen. But when they got to the third one where we were attacked, four of the policemen alighted from their bus and they identified themselves to the policemen and exchanged banters.

" I was shocked when the soldiers came after us and rained bullets on our bus, killing those policemen. I was almost killed in the encounter. I was then taken to the army captain's house. When I saw the corpses of the policemen and their agents in front of the Captain's house I became very disturbed and I pretended as if I wanted to urinate and I escaped from the scene."

Meanwhile, All Progressives Congress (APC) has disowned him, saying he got no N13million from the party.

Wadume had claimed in media reports that he got N13million from the APC for campaign fund during the general elections but spent only N7million.

But the ruling party, in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Lanre Issa-Onilu,yesterday, challenged him to name his sponsor because it would never allocate money to kidnappers and murderers.

The party said, "It is expected that the alleged kidnapper, having come face to face with justice, would throw whatever he could lay his hands on into the fray.

"In any case, our party did not have budget for thugs. Unlike the period when the ruling party dipped hands into the public treasury to fund political campaigns and elections, APC had to rely on its own resources.

"Even if we had all the money, we would never allocate money for kidnappers and murderers. That era ended with PDP. Perhaps, he can name whoever gave him money. Definitely, it was not APC."

Bobrisky

The Nigeria Government has threatened to deal with male cross-dresser, Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, popularly known as Bobrisky.

This was disclosed in an interview with Vanguard, by the Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture, Otunba Olusegun Runsewe.

His words, "Bobrisky is a national disgrace. He started by selling and using bleaching creams, now, he has grown boobs, bums and hips.

'If a Bobrisky is doing well with his immoral lifestyle, how do you convince Nigerian youths to do the right thing? Bobrisky has the right, but not within the Nigerian environment.

"There are others like him, but they live outside the country. If we don't address Bobrisky as early as possible, he will form a team that will spread like wildfire.

"This will result in a lot of suicide cases, because the typical Nigerian parent would not want to see their child become a Bobrisky.

"It's not an entertainment issue, it's a war to save Nigeria for a better tomorrow. If you start this kind of war, you are bound to be attacked.

"My job is to preserve and protect the culture of this country. It would be unfair for me to be silent on this. You now find male prostitutes by the roadsides.
" A popular Nigerian recently paid an unexpected visit to his son in England only to discover that the son is a gay leader. The man was brought back to the country on a wheelchair.

"I'm talking with the strength of information and authority. I have information that over twenty-three Nigerian boys are already starting Bobrisky's brand.

"Immediately we started the war, they pulled out because we are going to get them arrested. They cannot destroy this country."

COZA Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo gives reasons for shunning PFN panel

Posted: 25 Aug 2019 04:30 AM PDT

The Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly (COZA), Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo has reacted to the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) probe report into allegations against him by Busola Dakolo.

We had earlier reported that the PFN the founder of COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo, shunned the body by failing to appear before its panel investigating the rape allegation against him.

The report from PFN was declared inconclusive due to the Pastor's failure to appear before the investigative panel.

In a statement released by his Senior Assistant, Ademola Adetuberu, Fatoyinbo said he failed to honour the panel's invitations because his lawyers realised the sitting might be partial as the christian body before constituting the panel, had disowned him.

"We recall that when Pastor Fatoyinbo was invited by a phone call few days ago by Pastor Akinola Akinwale, who is the National Administrative Secretary of PFN, we explained that our Pastor would not honour the invitation due to legal advice hinged on the ongoing police investigation.

The legal advice was also premised on the press statement issued and personally signed by the PFN President, Bishop Felix Omobude, where our Pastor was publicly disowned.

Based on the foregoing, we are convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that the PFN was already prejudiced and may not conduct an impartial session. According to the report, Rev. Omobude, whom we hold in high esteem, went further to crucify our Pastor without seeking to know his side of the story on the matter.

With all due respect, we consider this a prejudicial position in dispensing justice and fairness. Even our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was given an opportunity for a fair hearing by the Kangaroo panel set up with the prime motive of condemning Him to death."

Fatoyinbo says once the police investigation into the rape allegation is over, he will appear before the panel.

"Once the police investigation is over, our Pastor is ready to honour the invitation. We have also been legally advised to deploy judicial intervention to clear our Pastor as soon as possible, and the process has commenced in earnest." the statement read

Woman files for divorce because her husband showed her ‘extreme love’

Posted: 25 Aug 2019 04:00 AM PDT

A woman in the United Arab Emirates is seeking to divorce her husband because he has choked her with extreme love by helping her with housework and showering her with gifts.

She filed for divorce at the Shariah court in Fujairah, the UAE, complaining she was 'chocked' by his 'extreme love and affection'.

The husband was so kind he even went on a strict diet and exercise regime that left him with a broken leg when she told him off for gaining weight.

The woman told the court: "I am choked by his extreme love and affection. He even assisted me in cleaning the house without my asking him. I am eagerly longing for a single day of dispute, but this seems impossible with my romantic husband who always forgave me and showered me with daily gifts. I need a real discussion, even an argument, not this hassle-free life full of obedience."

Khaleej Times reported that the husband begged the court to deny the divorce request. He was surprised his wife is trying to divorce him.

It's not fair to judge a marriage from the first year, and everybody learns from their mistakes. I am and always wish to be a perfect and kind husband," the man told the Sharia Court.

The court ordered an adjournment of the case to give the couple a chance to settle the dispute themselves.

Nigerian Notorious Serial Robber, Gloria Jailed In UK

Posted: 25 Aug 2019 03:30 AM PDT

Nigerian woman in the United Kingdom, Gloria Makanjuola, who committed a series of robberies and theft on buses in Hackney, even targeting an 87-year-old woman, has been jailed.

Makanjuola, 28, of no fixed address, was sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court to two years and eight months' imprisonment after pleading guilty to eight counts of robbery, four counts of theft and four counts of fraud at an earlier hearing at Thames Magistrates' Court.

Makanjuola committed the offences between September 2018 and October 2018 across Hackney. Her victims were aged between 18 and 87 years and all the offences occurred on buses in Hackney. One victim, an 87-year-old man, was targeted by Makanjuola as he travelled on a route around Wick Road.

She sat next to the victim and tried to put her hands in his pocket, he told her to stop but she managed to grab around £80 in cash. On another occasion, an 18-year-old woman was on board a route 277 bus in the area of Mare Street, E5 when Makanjuola started talking to her. During the conversation, she kept touching the victim and was crying.

The victim told her to leave her alone, Makanjuola then left the bus by pressing the emergency exit button. When the victim got up to leave the bus, she noticed that her purse and oyster card had been stolen. Detective Sergeant Coleman, the senior investigating officer from the Roads and Transport Policing Command, said;

"Gloria Makanjuola was a prolific offender in the Hackney area. She targeted vulnerable passengers using the bus network system, committing robbery or theft offences. If bank cards were stolen, she used the opportunity to use the cards to make contactless payments at local stores.

"Working in partnership with the Safer Transport Teams and Transport for London, Makanjuola was identified and arrested for various robbery and theft related offences. I would like to thank the victims in this investigation who had the courage to report these matters and assist in the police investigation. Without their support, this outcome would not have been possible."

CCTV footage was obtained from the buses and Makanjuola was identified by the investigation team and Safer Transport Team officers A number of the victims were able to recognise Makanjuola during the course of formal identification parades. Detective Superintendent Andy Cox, the lead investigator for transport network crime across London, said;

"We are focused on targeting prolific criminals like Makanjuola who target and prey on the most vulnerable commuters. Through extensive CCTV coverage across the transport network, we are able to identify and bring offenders to justice."

The court also heard that Makanjuola is currently serving a sentence for similar offences which she committed last year in the Hackney area. She was imprisoned for two years.

Here are the most common HIV symptoms in men

Posted: 25 Aug 2019 02:30 AM PDT

HIV is often known as a silent killer but if you're paying attention, these are the early symptoms that you need to watch out for.

If you have an active sex life or think you may have been exposed to HIV, it is important that you get tested as soon as possible.

Here are some common symptoms of HIV that may alert you that something is wrong. Many people experience severe flu-like symptoms which is the body's natural response to the virus and is an indicator that you may have been exposed to something sinister.

Four phases of an HIV infection:

Time is of the essence. Getting yourself tested and beginning treatment immediately ensures that you keep your immune system intact as much as possible. Getting treated with HIV medications will also practically eliminate your chances of transmitting your HIV to others.

Phase 1: the acute infection

The acute phase of an HIV infection lasts  two to eight weeks after the initial moment of infection. HIV replicates itself very quickly in your body, even if your body has not even started making antibodies against the virus. Within two weeks your viral load will rise to a million or more virus particles.

Symptoms of an acute HIV infection
A couple of weeks after you have been infected with HIV, the amount of HIV in your body will have increased significantly and your immune system will be activated. You could get flu-like symptoms. Symptoms that typically accompany an acute HIV infection are:

Most people who are infected with HIV will get symptoms in the acute phase. Those are not always recognised as being symptoms of HIV, however and they normally last two weeks, but they could last anywhere from a few days to ten weeks.

Be alert to symptoms of HIV after having had risky sex

If you have run a risk, for example because you didn't use a condom or because the condom broke, be on the look out for symptoms in the coming weeks. If you have flu-like symptoms or any of the symptoms described above, be aware that it could be HIV and when you visit your doctor or thre clinic, make sure you tell them the following:

Phase 2: recent infection

This period follows the acute infection and lasts for about six months after the initial infection.

The flu-like symptoms mentioned earlier could also appear in this period.

Phase 3: latent/chronic HIV infection

The length of this phase varies with each person. With some people it could last a year; with others it could last 15 years. It depends on how aggressive the virus is and how strong your immune system is.

Symptoms of a latent/chronic HIV infection

The symptoms you get in this phase will often last longer than they do in the acute phase. Symptoms in this phase include:

Phase 4: AIDS

Symptoms

The diagnosis of "AIDS" is only given if HIV has damaged your immune system to such an extent that you become ill from an infection that your body would normally have been able to fight off.

A wide range of serious medical conditions will present itself. A few examples:

When faced with the prospect of AIDS, it will always makes sense to get treated. Thanks to the treatment, "AIDS" is a stage that you never have to reach. It will take longer before your immune system gets back to strength, however.

5 big questions before you accept his proposal

Posted: 25 Aug 2019 01:30 AM PDT

As you may have heard for the millionth time; love is not enough and those good feelings coursing through your body every time you see that man is not what will power you through a marriage with him.

There's more to what goes on in a marriage than that. What this means, in essence, is to never be in a hurry to say yes to a glittering wedding band without knowing what needs to be known about the man offering it.

Here are major things to know about a man before agreeing to be his wife, and it's really OK to ask for information on them if he does not offer the information himself:

What's his take on gender roles in a marriage?

You want to know whether your man is one who believes in traditional marriage settings or believes in the more contemporary ideas of partnership or maybe he is somewhere in the middle.

Which is better than the other is not our concern in this piece; what we think women should always pay attention to is whether the man's predisposition to this issue is one which matches yours; or if those ideas align and can ride side by side.

You don't have to ask when he's on his knees though, this is something you want to be sure of before the relationship even gets to the point when he seriously starts contemplating marriage with you.

How does he see financial responsibilities in a marriage?

How about financial responsibilities in a marriage? Would you be cool with a man who believes that partnership in a marriage is absolute, up to chores and finances?

Would he be bearing the lion share of all finances and you should be playing just a supportive role or would you both be actively pulling your weight when it comes to shelling out the money to meet family needs? Do you want your money to be your money and his money 'our' money?

It's totally necessary to know where the man stands on financial issues in marriage and how in sync his money views are with yours.

You can't expect to live with this person for the duration of your marriage without knowing their views towards family money and the bearing of family financial responsibilities.

What do you think about privacy and independence?

Richard Kim of Infidelity Recovery Institute has written the best opinion on the issue:

"Couples may also have different expectations as to what "privacy" means so this topic should be discussed too. Find out if password restrictions are allowed in some aspects of the relationship.

"Also, find out if your partner would love to maintain some independence or not. I guess you wouldn't want to have someone who becomes emotionally dependent on you and wouldn't do anything without your consent.

Just imagine having a partner who... wants to spend every single second with you so each time you request to hang out with your friends, he is like 'please don't go.'

"Despite being married maintaining some personal space and some level of independence is very necessary."

How about conflict management?

Partners who can speak gently to each other rather than fly off the handle will be the most effective at sorting out typical disagreements over money, sex, and chores.

Couples who don't manage conflict effectively end up in destructive arguments, or they begin to avoid each other and the relationship goes stale.

Do you want kids?

Do not be deluded into thinking everyone wants one. Seems straightforward socially in these part but it really is not so. Not everyone wants kids.

I repeat: not everyone wants kids.

Don't forget to ask how many they want if they do; and how soon they want to start making them. Also what are their child raising ideas? Ask o.

How to be an amazing boyfriend when your girl is on her period

Your babe expects you to be her champ when gets that cramp. Here's how to be that and more.

It's sad because as guys, you can't forever hide from the subject, especially if you intend to marry a woman, or if you are already in a relationship with one. During the monthly flow, women have been known to have mood swings [This is not limited to just five days in a month though. Stay woke, guys.]

They've also been known to feel irritable, uncomfortable [especially those that suffer terrible cramps], hormonal shifts, some become hyper-active, some get so sluggish, super horny, angry, immobile and on and on.

While you are supposed to be a great boyfriend/husband at every point, these five [or less or more] days require a little extra effort to make her comfortable and happy.

So below, with help and recommendation from women, we list six great ways to pamper your wife/girlfriend and be her champ when she has cramps.

Buy sanitary pads
Or tampons or menstrual cups or whatever she uses. Know the size, the brand your girl likes. Buy for her ahead of that time of the month, without being asked.

You actually can't mess this one up. It often shows you care about every facet of her life.

Become comfortable with the idea
If you are a guy that still gets freaked out or give disgusted facial expressions when women bring up menstruation talk, you need to look for a way to get used to the idea.

It's all natural and the last thing your babe wants is for you to be acting childish like that.

Become comfortable with it. You actually should be worried for her if she does not do it. That's how absolutely necessary it is.

Food
Yeah, bruh, food.

Both on Twitter and Instagram where a little survey was conducted, almost all the women who commented asked that food should be brought to them.

"Buy me ice cream, buy me sharwarma, cook for me and make me eat even if I don't want to," says Twitter user, Omotola.

"Lots and lots of food…" requests Naomi, another Twitter user.

"Buy me food," adds Lolah June.

So, there you have it guys, make sure you get your girl food when she's on her period. You might want to consider not buying her sugary foods though, except she specifically requests. Eating sugary stuff on periods have been said to worsen cramps.

Physical contact
Women like belly rubs when they are on their periods. Aanu on Instagram, among many others, says "Pat her back, rub her tummy if you can"

Lolah June adds on Twitter that while on her period, she would love her man to "rub my stomach and my back" but he has to "stop immediately I ask him to."

Also, you have to learn when to talk to her and when to leave her alone.

Period sex
Whether you feel weird about this or not, period sex is a thing and in fact, some women have been known to get so bloody horny [no puns intended] when on their periods than on normal days.

This is a sensitive issue though, and whether to indulge her during that period is something you will both have to work about between yourselves.

"If the guy is down for that, why not?" asks Kehinde.

Be sensitive
"Check up like every time to confirm no pain, just be extra sweet." Tola, an Instagram user says.

"Know the details of her period. Like be able to tell when her next period will be, what she does to ease her pain and all," Tosin adds.

"He should just be available. Stay beside her to keep her company (no excessive talk though) it pisses. Just let her feel at peace even in her woman storm," Pheyi writes.

All in all, guys, while most of the things listed here apply to almost every woman, there are still little variations and moderation tailor-suited to your babe that you need to ask and learn from her.

Treat those queens well, Kings!
