| #BBNaija2019: Jackye Tells Nigerians What Mike Means To Her Posted: 27 Aug 2019 01:00 AM PDT  Evicted Big Brother Naija, housemate, Jackye has given details on her relationship with fellow housemate, Mike. Jackye speaking to Ebuka following her eviction from Sunday night eviction, told Ebuka that her relationship with Mike was mutual and nothing romantic. According to her, she is just a friend with Mike and sees him as a big brother to her. Jackye told Ebuka: "My friendship with Mike is mutual and business. "He was there for me emotionally, he is my guy and a big brother to me."  Recall that Jackye who is a close friend with Mike in the house, was caught on top of him while he was in bed. It all happened after the Cruisetopia team lost their Thursday night challenge to the Icons. Mike who was tired of playing Ludo game in the garden retired to his bed to sleep but Jackye chased him to his bed. Jackye climbed on top Mike's body while he was in bed, playing with him and disturbing him not to sleep.  | ||
| Posted: 27 Aug 2019 12:30 AM PDT  BBNaija host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has taken to his Twitter page to refute allegations thrown at him by Tacha's fans. Fans of the controversial housemate have taken to Twitter to slam Ebuka after their fave was issued a second strike for being rude and disrespectful to authority. Before issuing the strike, Biggie played some clips of her being rude. In some of the clips, she deliberately wasted time before going into the diary room when summoned.  In another clip, she rudely replied Ebuka when he asked her the give the reason for declining to share the Head of House with Seyi when he offered. She said under her breath "Y has two patterns and one tail." Recall that some time ago, some Nigerians felt Ebuka called Tacha out by insisting she defined the characteristics of a winner even when it was obvious she didn't know how to. After it was obvious she was ignorant on the subject, he moved to talk to other housemates but not until after he told her he was disappointed in her. Ebuka has now finally broken his silence on the matter as he has informed his 'attackers' that he doesn't call the shots or make the decisions when it comes to running the BBNaija show and that he is only an employee. Tacha has received two strikes already. The 3rd strike would mean instant disqualification.  | ||

Khafi who happened to be the fastest person to get the correct puzzle was declared winner of the HoH challenge by Big Brother.  The 29 year old picked Tacha to share the luxurious room with her and to everyone's surprise, Tacha agreed to share the room with her. | Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr says ‘It’s very hard to leave Nigeria’ Posted: 26 Aug 2019 11:30 PM PDT  Gernot Rohr, the head coach of Super Eagles has said it's very hard for him to leave Nigeria because he is loved by Nigerians. But the German who recently led the Eagles to a third-place finish at last month's Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt admitted that there's a section of Nigerians from whom he "doesn't feel this love." The 66-year-old also made claims that "one category" of people didn't show him love especially after the AFCON. "We have difference between Francophone countries and Anglophone countries but I didn't have any problem adapting (in Nigeria) because I was welcomed by everybody, not only in the team but the staff, and also from Nigerians," he said in a recent interview. "When I go out, I feel this love, I feel it everywhere. The only people I don't feel this love from, there is only one category especially after the AFCON, and you know who it is. But everywhere, if it is here or in other places, I feel this love, this is a reason for me, which makes it very hard to leave because there is human relationship which is important also.  | ||

After Gedoni's eviction, Khafi broke down in uncontrollable tears and was comforted by Tacha, Mike and other housemates. Mike, while consoling Khafi after the eviction show, told her to stop crying over Gedoni and his last comment in the house. Gedoni had said "Thank you" immediately Ebuka mentioned his name for eviction. This did not go down well with Khafi. Complaining to Mike as he consoled her, Khafi said she was confused as to why Gedoni said that.  But Mike, in consoling her, said Gedoni's reaction was because he was stressed. They were evicted after they emerged as housemates with the least votes. We also recall that Mercy had the highest vote of 25.55 percent. | Ubi Franklin shares encounter with someone he helped in 2018 Posted: 26 Aug 2019 07:00 AM PDT  Ubi Franklin shared the highlight of his encounter with someone he helped out in 2018, after being approached for money because the man's mother was sick. The music executive stated that he didn't know the man from anywhere and was also not satisfied with his answer on how he got his number at that time. He however went on to give him the money he asked for before getting a shocking encounter in 2019. Ubi said he was at the club on Friday night when the man who got a turnaround after the 2018 exchange walked up to him and introduced himself. He wrote; Sometime in July, 2018, I recieved a call from a certain guy notifying me that his mum was ill and needed help with her hospital bills. Firstly, i ask him how he got my phone number since i did not know him and he said someone gave it to him. Even though I was not too satisfied with his response, i understood the feeling of not having money, yet a loved one( as in this case, his mum) is critically ill. Bearing this in mind, I requested for his account number, sent him money and that was it. Last night a guy walked up to me in the club and asked if I knew him, I said no and he reminded me about the favour I had done him and his mum. Now the main story is; this guy was obviously going through a hard time during the period he contacted me ealier, but he is now 'back on his feet' and doing well. Interestingly, he has offered me something major which I will share later. GRATITUDE IS A MUST.    | ||

The couple who welcomed their child, Ire last Thursday, which was the 15th of August, 2019, in the United States celebrated his naming function. The naming service was sorted out and arranged by Nollywood entertainer and associate of the couple, Nkechi Blessing Sunday. The entertainer is by all accounts near the couple as she has been up and doing as far back as the delivery of the baby.  In one of her posts on Instagram today, she subtitled it saying, "Egbon IRE" which means IRE's senior sister, and Ire is Toyin's baby's name. The occasion was opened with a live band execution by Nollywood on-screen character, Allwell Ademola. The hall used for the event was beautifully and creatively decorated. However while followers are still waiting to see how the brewing feud will end, the MMMG boss said he has moved on from that as Alex has apologized. "He (Ekubo) was only joking, but I didn't get the joke. He has already sent a message to apologise. It really wasn't that serious.
