Starring Lupita Nyong'o, Alexander England and Josh Gad, the horror-comedy finds Nyong'o's Caroline fighting off zombies in order to protect her students. The action-packed trailer features the Academy Award winner fighting alongside England and Gad (playing a foul-mouthed children's entertainer) as they try reassuring the kids that everything's just fine.  "I got caught in the middle of a jam fight," Caroline tells the kids after a bloody encounter with the undead. Must've been quite the jam fight.  A US release date has not been announced but Little Monsters will arrive in the UK and Ireland on November 15. | Tonto Dikeh shares message assassin paid to kill her sent to her via email Posted: 02 Aug 2019 10:00 PM PDT Okay, guys, Tonto Dikeh has shared a frightening mail sent to her by an alleged assassin who says he has been paid to kill her.
He went to say he has been monitoring her for a while now but couldn't bring himself to do the job. He, however, adviced her to pay him a ransom so he could let her off his hook. Apparently not moved by the mail Tonto Dikeh revealed that she was going to make sure the person behind the mail is brought to book.  "This assassin talks way too much...But you can be sure of ONE THING I will get you... @nigerianpolice @aishambuhari @muhammadubuhari #I promise you this will be your last email #I will get you and make you pay for stressing me by reading this shit..." she captioned the post.  This is not the first time Tonto Dikeh will be raising an alarm over her life. Recall that about a year ago, she posted a message on her Instagram page where she claimed that the police were planning to storm her home under the instruction of an unidentified person. The encounter at Cairo International Stadium on Sunday, July 14, saw Nigeria net once from the spot as Algeria claimed a 2-1 at the death to reach AFCON 2019 final. However, in an Instagram post on Thursday, August 1, the Nigeria Football Federation uploaded an image of the trio of Super Eagles representatives – Chidi Ngoka (Equipment Manager), Enebi Achor (Team Manager) and midfielder John Ogu along with a message that read: "Business tycoon Aliko Dangote today in Lagos redeemed his pledge of $50,000 to the @NGSuperEagles for their one against Algeria in AFCON 2019 semifinal. "Money was presented by Olakunle Alake, GMD of Dangote Group accompanied by Anthony Chiejina, Chief Corp. Comm. Officer." Recently, Big Brother introduced four new housemates, two of whom were males named Elozonam and Joe. Ever since the new additions arrived, the ladies in the house have been talking about them behind closed doors. In a private conversation, Esther and Diane expressed their opinions about Joe and Elozanam. According to them, they do not find both of them attractive.  Diane particularly said that she would not be distracted by any of them because they are not her type as they are both fair and short.  Esther who listened to Diane talk for a while also agreed that Joe and Elozonam were not attractive. Disney's live-action remake of "Aladdin" took a full two months before it crossed the $1 billion threshold, and the film is now the sixth live-action Disney release and 15th in all to ever surpass the $1 billion mark in what is proving to be an incredibly dominant year for the Mouse House. This year alone in addition to "Aladdin," "Avengers: Endgame" and "Captain Marvel" scored big, and it's likely that "Frozen 2" and "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" could do the same, which would help Disney mount a $9 billion profit in 2019. Jon Favreau's "The Lion King" split critics with just a 52% score on Rotten Tomatoes, but the film managed an A CinemaScore all the same. In fact, prior to the initial wave of reviews and online backlash, expectations for how big "The Lion King" could open were even higher. Yet it managed to earn $191.8 million domestically, still the eighth highest opening weekend of all time and a record for a July release. The film even dipped much more than expected in its second weekend, dropping 60% for a $75.5 million second weekend. But "The Lion King" still easily managed to top the release of Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood." The dip is consistent with the performance of another film that opened to $191 million, "Avengers: Age of Ultron." The 2015 Marvel movie earned $77.7 million in its second weekend and went on to gross $459 million domestically and $1.4 billion worldwide. "The Lion King" isn't strictly a live-action remake, but a fully CGI animated film made to look photo realistic. The remake of the 1994 classic features the voice talent of Donald Glover, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, Chiwetel Ejiofor, John Oliver, Florence Kasumba, Keegan-Michael Key, John Kani, Alfre Woodard, Eric Andre and James Earl Jones returning as Mufasa.  | ||

The Nigerian doctor, Ify Okoye who accused Bobrisky of owing her N8m, has shown that she's not backing down anytime soon as she has continued to make startling revelations into Bobrisky's life.  The doctor has alleged that the socialite told her he hacked Nina Instagram account. Ify Okoye who just regained access to her account after it was allegedly hacked for some days, also claimed Bobrisky was the one that hacked her account. In a post she updated on Instagram, she claimed Bobrisky had been with her several times when she made attempt to log into her account and he probably had access to the login details.  She then alleges that he was the one that hacked Nina's account when she lost it months ago to one Yusuf. She wrote:  Yes my IG account was hacked. | AFRIMA Withdraws Hosting Rights From Ghana Posted: 02 Aug 2019 01:00 AM PDT  The International Committee of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) has withdrawn the hosting rights from Ghana for the 2019 and 2020 editions of AFRIMA. AFRIMA cited the lack of capacity by the host country to meet the financial and contractual obligations entered on July 12, 2018, necessary to retain hosting the biggest music event in Africa. The body reached the decision on Monday after several months of meetings and consultations with relevant stakeholders to remedy the situation with the expectation that Ghana would provide concrete assurances and guarantees to discharge its contractual obligations for hosting the 2019 and 2020 editions of AFRIMA after its disappointing performance on the contract during the 2018 edition of the awards held in Accra between November 21 and 24. Fox Meek reports that the decision of the African Union (AU) and AFRIMA to award a three-term hosting right (2018-2020) of the awards to Ghana followed the May 21, 2018 declaration of President Nana Akufo Addo of his desire to host the AFRIMA Awards in Ghana during the AFRIMA 2018 Calendar Unveiling Ceremony held in Accra.  The International Advisor of AFRIMA, Rikki Stein, while thanking the young people and the media in Ghana said: "It was a hard decision for us to withdraw the awards hosting rights for the next two years (2019 and 2020 editions) from the Republic of Ghana. As an awards owned for the African people, it is structured to travel around the continent giving the people the true African experience." He added: "We have some fond memories of our time in Ghana immersing ourselves in the lifestyle and music and we have formed great friendships among the Ghanaian people. We look forward to returning to Ghana at a more opportuned time. However, we cannot afford to compromise the standard of the laudable vision of AFRIMA to create a truly African brand that connects Africans and build the equity of Africa. The situation faced in Ghana has the potential to erode the goodwill and giant strides we have achieved in Africa through the awards." Mr. Stein, a former manager and friend of Afrobeat Legend, Fela Kuti, added that AFRIMA is geared to increase the tourism and entertainment equity of a host country as the host receives an influx of international and Africa dignitaries, AFRIMA nominees, music stars and executives who attend the four-day programme of activities. The International Committee of AFRIMA said it is working to determine a new host country for the 6th edition of the annual AFRIMA to be announced in August 2019.
