| Truman Scholarships for Leadership/Public Service Posted: 05 Sep 2019 05:33 AM PDT Could you be a candidate for a 2020 Truman Scholarship? Truman Scholars have outstanding leadership experience, a strong focus on public service goals and activities, and excellent academic performance. The Truman Scholarship program (www.truman.gov), which is the official federal memorial for President Harry S. Truman, recognizes JUNIORS (3rd year students) with demonstrated abilities to contribute to the public good through outstanding leadership and service. US Citizenship is required. The Truman program provides a $30,000 grad study award, plus top-level internship opportunities, and participation in an unrivaled professional network of leaders and change-makers in public service.
