Self-study online is definitely convenient and affordable, but what if you have questions after watching the video?
Attending a workshop in person is a great way to get your instructor's personal attention and meet other photography students, but it's expensive and it might not be a weekend you're available.
How about the best of both worlds? The new dPS online workshops offer lifetime access to the course videos and materials, along with a 4 week online workshop group via Facebook with direct access to your instructor.
Landscape & Nature Photography Course run as an Online Workshop
This is an online workshop from the 30th September to the 28th of October. You'll get lifetime access to all of the course materials online via our Course Portal, but you'll also get the following support for 4 weeks via a private Facebook group:
- Direct access to our instructor Johny Spencer - post your questions, ask him anything, including feedback requests on your images
- Weekly assignments including planning a shoot, shooting with a wide angle lens, capturing detail with a telephoto lens, getting creative with a variety of techniques for a unique photograph
- Bonus videos not included in the original course
- Additional tips and checklists for the assignments
- A cohort of students to connect with throughout the 4 week workshop
You don't need to be live online at any specific time - Johny will post links to resources in the group that you can access in your own time. You can leave him questions which he'll respond to when he's online during the 4 weeks.
This new format means the price of the course will be going up to $149, but for this first run through we're keeping it at the original price of $99 USD.
The workshop is based on the original 4 hour dPS Landscape and Nature video course by Johny Spencer. As a professional landscape and nature photographer for the National Parks Service in Australia, he has shot and edited 10's of 1000's of landscape photos.
You'll take a journey with Johny from his studio to the great Aussie outback where he'll teach you to:
- Take long exposure shots for that beautiful silky affect with water
- Photograph nature up close with macro focusing
- Compose detailed landscape shots even when the light isn't ideal
- Shoot in the forest with dappled light
- Create amazing panoramas
- Use water to create stunning reflection images
- Shoot sand dunes, seascapes and wildlife
You'll get an over the shoulder experience riding along with Johny as he shoots breathtaking scenes on location, then shows you all his tips for editing in Lightroom back in the studio.
So, don't miss this limited time opportunity to be supported directly by Johny from 30 September to 28 October. And, as with all of our courses, even once the workshop has ended, you'll have indefinite access to all of the course materials (all of which can be instantly downloaded).
Registrations Close Soon
Registrations for the workshop group will close when the workshop begins, so you have limited time to take up this exclusive opportunity.
We can't wait to see your creative landscape and nature photos!
Best wishes,
Darren and the team at Digital Photography School
P.S. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee, so if you do access the course and it isn't as convenient, helpful and affordable as you expected, we'll refund you. Take a risk free look here.
