#BBNaija2019: Evicted Thelma applauds Tacha for blasting Seyi

Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, housemate Tacha on Sunday attacked fellow housemate, Seyi.

Tacha and Seyi have been at loggerheads in the house.


Recall that Tacha had shouted at Seyi for calling her out, warning him not to try such again.

When asked about her fight with Seyi on Sunday during the live eviction show, Tacha told Ebuka that Seyi is just older than her but does not have sense and act his age.


According to her, she has achieved more than him at the age of 23.

"Seyi is old but does not have sense and act his age.

"If it wasn't for Big Brother, he wouldn't have achieved anything.

"What I have achieved at 23 , Seyi has not achieved at his age," Tacha boasted.

Timaya, Peruzzi and Soso Soberekon has been told to get their suits ready to walk a girl down the aisle.

The President of the DMW, Davido, issued this advice and other words to the singers in a new video shared online.

It started when they addressed Davido as a married man with the phrase "my married friend".

Davido who dropped a hint on taking Chioma to the alter in year 2020 proudly replied them and he further stated that he is not happy with them.

"I am not happy with you, you and Soso should go and marry" Davido said to Timaya as they all laugh hard over the joke.

Majek Fashek's Manager confirms singer is critically ill in a London Hospital

Veteran Reggae musician, Majekodunmi Fasheke, aka Majek Fashek has been hospitalised at Queen's Hospital, London, for a serious illness and may need financial assistance to pull through.

The manager of legendary reggae star, Uzoma Day Omenka has confirmed the report that the singer is gravelly ill and receiving treatment at a hospital in London, England.

According to Omenka, Majek Fashek became gravelly ill last month and was rushed to London on August 24, 2019 after a brief admission at a Lagos hospital.

He said a notable Nigerian known for his philanthropic gestures has promised to take care of his medical bill but does not wish to have his name revealed.

"Although, his medical bill for the surgery has been taken care by this notable Nigerian. I don't want to mention his name, but we have serious issues with day to day upkeep. As I speak to you, Majek cannot eat and cannot talk, I have to do virtually everything for him. Right now, we are in dire need of finance to survive here in London.

We spend a lot of money every day to keep him alive. I have approached the Nigerian Embassy here but they abandoned us to our fate.

Majek has not eaten in days and the only food he can eat has to be specially prepared.

The truth is, we are stranded here. We are in great debt and we need help urgently if we don't want this icon to die.

President Donald Trump – 'John Legend’s wife has a filthy mouth'

United States President, Donald Trump has insulted singer, Chrissy Teigen, wife of John Legend, calling her a filthy mouthed woman.


Trump, in series of tweets said people who never contributed to the Criminal Justice Reform, were now taking the glory.

He said Legend and his wife were now talking about how great the reform was and lashed out at them for contributing nothing.

"When all of the people pushing so hard for Criminal Justice Reform were unable to come even close to getting it done, they came to me as a group and asked for my help. I got it done with a group of Senators & others who would never have gone for it. Obama couldn't come close.

"A man named Van Jones, 68, and many others, were profusely grateful (at that time!). I SIGNED IT INTO LAW, no one else did, & Republicans deserve much credit. But now that it is passed, people that had virtually nothing to do with it are taking the praise. Guys like boring.

Hip Hop duo, Skuki mourn their mum’s death

Hip hop music duo, Skuki are in mourning following the death of their mother.

The duo composed of two brothers: Tumininu Laolu-Oguniyi and Atewologun Laolu-Ogunniyi. They are also known as Vavavoom and Peeshaun.

Vavavoom and Peeshau. took to their social media feed to appreciate their mum for a while well spent and of course, putting them in the way of the lord.

Their update on social media shows the mother had died 2 days ago before revealing it to the public, one of the duo, Vavavoom while uploading her photo wrote:

48hours ago i lost my bestfriend, my mentor, my inspiration, my world, my everything. My BEAUTIFUL MOTHER, I would miss you so so much.

Thank you for everything you've thought me….To share kindness and love…but most importantly to serve JEHOVAH.

The mother who dies at age 70 was also paid the last respect by the second son, Peeshaun. He wrote:

Abuja court orders Busola Dakolo, Fatoyinbo to appear

The Federal High Court, sitting in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja has summoned founder of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Biodun Fatoyinbo and Mrs Busola Dakolo to appear before it within 14 days.
This was revealed in a court summon seen by TheCable on Monday.

Busola Dakolo, a photographer and wife of the musician, Timi Dakolo, had in June accused the founder of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Pastor Abiodun Fatoyinbo of rape.



Mrs Dakolo made the claims during an interview with Y!Naija.

In a suit, she filed at a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja, Mrs Dakolo claimed that the alleged action of Fatoyinbo adversely affected her marital sex life.

She, therefore, demanded "a personal letter of apology" from the cleric to show honest remorse for his misdeeds.

In her suit, which was filed on her behalf by her lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi and Co of Law corridor, and exclusively obtained by The PUNCH in Abuja on Sunday, Mrs Dakolo asked the court to declare that Fatoyinbo's denial of his alleged acts contained jointly and/or severally through a press statement he released on June 28 2019, had caused her continuous emotional distress and amounted to intentional infliction of emotional distress on her.

Olajengbesi said, "The claimant avers that she was immediately terrified and in shock while the defendant pinned her down on the couch following which he caressed her body, fondled her breasts, pulled her pant, quickly half-pulled his trousers and ordered her to allow him have his way with her.

"The claimant avers that the defendant in the process used his hand to cover her mouth, thereby muffling her screams. The claimant avers that the defendant made efforts to penetrate her vagina, whilst she struggled to fight him off; however, the defendant overpowered her and penetrated her vagina and had sexual intercourse with her.

"The claimant avers that while she was in shock of the incident which had rendered her befuddled and mortified, the defendant rushed out of the living room area of her family home and briefly returned with a bottle of soda (Krest) which he forced down her throat thereby making her breathing difficult."

Ahead Of Valencia Clash, There Seem Some Bad News For Barcelona

Ahead of Valencia, Barcelona encounter at the Camp Nou, Barca could be without three first team players after the international break, as Ernesto Valverde's chances of having Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Samuel Umtiti for the game looks unlikely.
There is a bit of good news with Junior Firpo returning to full training with the Barcelona squad. The left-back missed the recent clash against Osasuna due to a left knee ligament issue, however he is back working with his teammates.
However, Messi and Suarez continue to work on the sidelines, separated from the main group. Both players are recovering well, though, and they could be available for the meeting with Valencia after the conclusion of the international break if they respond well to the continuous increase in workload.
After enjoying four days off, those players who weren't part of international fixtures returned to training on Monday and Valverde will be monitoring fitness levels throughout the week, with the Champions League due to commence soon as well. Ansu Fati, the breakout teenage star of Barcelona's season so far, has also continued to train with the first team after his crucial goal against Osasuna.


 Barcelona need not worry a lot about Samuel Umtiti's recent ailment because isn't a serious injury. The player left the French squad on Sunday after suffering some discomfort in his right foot, but it turns out he only has a bruise.

 The defender underwent a series of scans on Monday in the Catalan club's medical facility, where the aforementioned conclusion was reached. What isn't clear, though, is the exact date of his return, although there is a chance he could be fit in time to feature against Valencia in the next LaLiga Santander fixture.

Tolu Ogunlesi, Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital Communications, has trolled former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the February 23 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar over his petition before the Presidential Elections Petitions Tribunal (PEPT).

The Presidential Elections Petitions Tribunal is scheduled to deliver judgment on the presidential election on Wednesday, 11th.

Trolling the PDP presidential candidate and his party, Tolu Ogunlesi tweeting via his twitter account Tuesday afternoon said;

"A few random thoughts on the PDP presidential election petition:

"All of the planks on which they've based their petition have turned out to be k-legged. All.

"Start with the server claims. Easily the biggest joke of 2019. 110% fabricated claims. Star witnesses had zero proof when questioned. 'Expert' witnesses (incl one from Kenya) were similarly clueless. Best they had was a 3rd party ANON site. Sad joke.

He continues thus, "Another big k-leg – they were able to summon only about 60 witnesses – you can't prove a governorship case with 60 witnesses, not to talk of presidential (Google to see what Governorship petition witness numbers look like).

"Another k-leg: a document dump. They dumped thousands of documents on Court, without linking these documents to actual claims in the petition. (You can't do this linking without witnesses) Here's what Court had to say about a recent case of dumping by another party, in 2019 PEPT cycle

"Another plank of the petition – trying to cast doubt on the President's school leaving certificate. Dead on arrival, with the verifications from WAEC and Cambridge.


"This is from a recent judgement of the Court of Appeal: "The burden of proving an election petition rests squarely on the petitioner who must succeed on the strength of his case as the burden of proof lies on the person who would fail if no evidence at all was given…"

Concluding he says the party and its presidential candidate have put together one of the most hare-brained petitions:

"In a nutshell: 'He who alleges must prove.' Unfortunately, our friends have put together one of the most hare-brained (I'm not even being uncharitable) petitions in the history of PEPTs in Nigeria."

Eating Of Human Flesh Is The Solution To Climate Change - Scientist Says

Cannibalism has been proposed by a Swedish scientist, Magnus Soderlund, as a seemingly bizarre solution to combat climate change.

Soderlund who is a Stockholm School of Economics professor and researcher has according to NEW YORK POST, said that he believes that eating human meat, which is derived from corpses, might be the remedy of the human race if only the world would "awaken the idea."

The Swedish Professor canvassed this position at a panel talk titled, "Can You Imagine Eating Human Flesh?" at the Gastro Summit in Stockholm.

He said "conservative" abominations against the eating of human flesh could change over time if people simply tried eating human flesh.

When quizzed during an interview after his discourse on if he was willing to try human flesh personally, Soderlund stated that he was open to the idea.
"I feel somewhat hesitant but to not appear overly conservative…I'd have to say…I'd be open to at least tasting it," he said.

He then made suggestions of other options including eating of pets and insects.

Meanwhile, the Standard reports that a tribe in Papua New Guinea had practiced eating of dead bodies to serve as an alternative to the bodies being consumed by worms. This practice eventually resulted in an epidemic of a disease called Kuru, also known as laughing death.

In 1960, this practice of eating human flesh came to its end in Papua New Guinea.

All Nigeria soccer has reported that, promising Andre Silveira Edionhon, Huddersfield Town striker, has dumped his country of birth England as he received a maiden call-up to the Nigeria squad ahead of the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup.


Andre was born in Greenwich, London, the attacker is also eligible to turn out for England's youth teams but he has committed his international future to Nigeria. In a report by All Nigeria soccer, the youngster received his call up through a letter dated September 9 with reference number NFF/GEN/TECH/210/VOL.IV, from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) requesting for his release to the Golden Eaglets.

Edionhon who was in 2003 has been selected to attend the Nigeria U17s team camp, which is scheduled to hold in Istanbul, Turkey from 20th to 27th September, 2019. He is in contention to make his debut for the Golden Eaglets at the UEFA/CAF Assist Tournament this month.

Edionhon played for Lambeth Tigers before joining Huddersfield Town as a first-year scholar in July 2019.

Defiling all warnings by the Nigerian Police Authorities, the Islamic Movement of Nigeria popularly known as Shiites decided to embark on what it called its Ashura morning procession earlier today.

The Shittes gropu said the Ashura mourning procession earlier today in Kano, ended peacefully, as it's not attacked by Nigerian securities like in other locations.

According to the group, in Malumfashi town (Katsina) the group says are police officials are shooting followers of Sheikh Zakzaky, with the number of casualties not known yet. While in Gombe a joint team of security agencies besieged the residence of representative of followers of Sheikh Zakzaky, Malam Abbari.

In Kaduna, Bauchi, Sokoto,Katsina and Gombe, the group reported that scores of Ashura mourners were confirmed martyred, hundreds injured by gunshot, while another hundreds arrested across the states; in an unprovoked attack by Nigerian securities on followers of Sheikh Zakzaky.
