Basketmouth reveals there is no beef or rivalry between him & his colleague AY Makun

Popular Nigerian comedian Bright Okpocha, aka Basketmouth, has made it clear that there is no beef or rivalry between him and colleague AY Makun.

The talented comedian was recently a guest at Cool FM 96.9's The Midday Oasis hosted by presenters Do2dtun and Kemi Smallz.

Fielding a question about godfatherism and cliques in the comedy industry, Basketmouth explained that it was only natural for people to be more comfortable around some people than others.

He drew an analogy from when people are much younger and are often inclined to become closer friends with some people more than others, probably because they live in the same environment or see each other often.

Basketmouth explained that the same scenario is obtainable in the comedy industry and it has nothing to do with beef.

Explaining further, the comedian noted that he has heard a lot of comments from people saying that he does not hang out with AY or move around with him.

Basketmouth made it clear that the situation is entirely different. He said as a matter of fact he still spent some time with AY some days ago and they had drinks together.

#BBNaija2019: Khafi opens up on sleeping with Gedoni

London policewoman, Khafi Kareem, has maintained that she did not have sex with evicted housemate, Gedoni.

The 29-year-old said this in a discussion with other housemates.

Another housemate, Ike, admitted that he and Diana, a fellow housemate planted a condom by Khafi and Gedoni's bed as a prank.

Reacting, Khafi said, "Everyone was going to think it was me and Gedoni but my mind is clear, my conscience is clear, it's not us. It was very funny.

"Me and Gedoni looked at each other and was like, no; I am a very physically affectionate person. Nothing will happen in the house."

She also maintained that she has been celibate for years.

After his eviction, Gedoni has said that he did not have sex with Khafi and the rumours were unfounded.

"I think I will allow Khafi to answer whether we had sex or not. There were intense moments but sex, no," Gedoni said.

The pair were filmed getting intimate in the Big Brother Naija house severally.

They were first videoed on Saturday, July 20th then again on Tuesday, July 23, and again on Monday, July 29.

Super Eagles of Nigeria coach, Gernot Rohr has lost his mother, Elizabeth Rohr. She was 97.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirmed the sad news via Twitter on Thursday afternoon (Sept. 12).

NFF wrote, "We commiserate with @NGSuperEagles Head coach, Mr Gernot Rohr who just lost his mother Madam Elisabeth Rohr. She was 97. May her soul rest in peace."

2017 BBNaija star, Gifty Powers recently got into it with her singer ex-boyfriend, Mr 2kay, after he defended current BBNaija housemate, Tacha over the body odour saga.

2018 BBNaija edition also known as Pepper Dem Gang, has definitely caused quite a ruckus on social media as many people from different teams constantly lock horns with each other all in the spirit of supporting their favourite housemates.

Earlier on in the show, Mike was heard telling Khafi to tell her friend to top up (use deodorant). Despite not mentioning any names, quite a number of viewers have assumed he was talking about Tacha seeing as she and Khafi are pals.

Amongst many of Tacha's fans who came to her defense was Nigerian singer, Mr 2kay, who revealed that she does not smell as he has once being with her when she hadn't taken her bath and she did not smell.

Endorsing the Instagram user's comment was Mr 2kay's ex and 2017 BBNaija star, Gifty Powers who stated that pigs always defend pigs, indirectly tagging him a dirty animal.

Singers Falz nominated for BET Hip Hop awards 2019; He’s the only Nigerian on the list

Nigerian rapper and actor, Falz is the only nominee from the Nigerian music industry that was unveiled alongside other international artistes for the 2019 BET Hip-Hop Awards.

The 28-year-old rapper was nominated in a new category BET launched to honour artists from around the world.

Falz contends with artistes from Africa, Europe and Canada will compete for the new Best International Flow.

This year's nominee list, which was released Thursday by Billboard sees Cardi B leading the pack with 10 nominations.

Following closely are DJ Khaled, Travis Scott, and J.Cole with an astonishing 8 nominations each.

Drake, who led the 2018 nominations, falls to third most nominations this year with 7 nods.

The 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards will air Tuesday (Oct. 8) at 8 pm EST on BET internationally and BET Africa on Oct. 9.

#BBNaija2019: Here’s why Khafi and Tacha’s friendship is causing a stir

Khafi and Tacha's friendship has gone through several tests in the last three weeks and it's beginning to cause a stir in the house.

After the BFFs bonded more in the Head of House room during Khafi's democratic reign, the two have become targets for at least five housemates that are scheming to take their pound of flesh on them. From Mercy to Diane, Venita and Seyi, the name of the BFFs have remained constant in several conversations all through week 10.

Though Tacha is known to keeping to herself in the house till the fourth week after her fake eviction and trip to the 'Secret Room', she couldn't resist the bubbly energy that Khafi exudes and as such, the two have become buddies. 

Interestingly, the journey to their friendship didn't kick off smooth as Khafi once had a misconception about the ankle bracelet Tacha wears but she later apologised to Tacha and they wiped the slate clean.

Here's why Tacha and Khafi's friendship is causing a stir in the BBNaija Pepper Dem House.

Seyi's Veto Power Holder trouble
For the ninth week, Seyi won the Veto Power Holder game and on Monday night, September 2, 2019, he used the Veto power to save and replace himself with Khafi. Since the creation of the Veto Power Holder, it has consistently caused a rift between housemates - while some move on, others hold it as a means for a grudge. Seyi's decision didn't go down well with Tacha, who many thoughts were beginning to warm up to Seyi and might contract a relationship in the house. After the eviction nominees were announced, Tacha signaled the crack in her relationship with Seyi in support of her friend, Khafi. Seyi's decision further caused a strain in his relationship with Khafi but Seyi cared less telling Biggie that the decision had no explanation for it because it was spontaneous and could have been Tacha. Meanwhile, Tacha felt Seyi shouldn't have replaced himself with Khafi knowing fully well that she is her BFF. On Thursday, September 5, the battle line was finally drawn between Seyi and Tacha over Khafi. Tacha and Seyi got into a heated argument that saw Seyi saying he would provoke Tacha enough to get a third strike that would get her disqualified from the game. So bad is the rift between the two that when Khafi, Venita, and Tacha shared drinks on Friday, September 6 night, Seyi signaled Elozonam to help him get his drinks.

As the show draws close to an end, Mercy and Diane seem to have found another common ground - to scheme against Tacha - aside from being founding members of Power Puff Girls. Mercy and Diane started planning to see Tacha's downfall after she gloated team Enigma over their loss two weeks back. Team Legend had won the Wager Task challenge in the eighth week and Tacha and Khafi's celebration was perceived as gloating members of the team Enigma. Mercy and Diane had taken it upon themselves to gloat and mock members of team Legend when they lose. Mercy decided to pay Tacha and Khafi back in their coins with her mock cum victory dance in the arena. The gloating has continued in the house. Mercy also told Diane and Cindy that Tacha is angry with Ike because he failed to save her when he had the Veto Power and she's equally pissed with her for keeping such grudges.


Venita's distaste for Khafi
Venita had not been on a good accord with Khafi since she stepped into the BBNaija Pepper Dem house five weeks back. She had consistently had issues and shouting match with Khafi. So bad was their rivalry that she didn't hesitate to tell Gedoni about her distaste for Khafi. She even threatened to 'snatch' Gedoni from Khafi if she provokes her. Khafi, on the other hand, has not hidden her seeming distaste for Venita. The UK metropolitan police feel Venita is picking on her for no particular reason. This has seen Venita drawing closer to Seyi to discuss her distaste for Khafi as Seyi shares his anger with Tacha.

Regina Daniels to throw out best friend, Cassie for trying to seduce her husband

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels according to inside info has thrown out Best friend Cassie from her house and deleted all her photos from Instagram because Cassie allegedly tried to seduce her hubby Ned Nwoko (According to the gists flying around).

"Cassie is so in love with Regina's hubby, Ned Nwoko and could not control herself around him.

One day someone caught her alone with Ned and it looked 'somehow' as she had a strange look and Ned allegedly had a wet look on his Jalabia.

Regina had been warned about Cassie but she did not listen and always maintained that she trusted her.

According to the insider, even Ned had advised Regina severally to advise Cassie to dress appropriately but she always dressed like Regina around the house and wore very skimpy outfit..

The person who met her with Ned alone raised the roof and insisted Cassie must leave the house"

Insiders allege it was Regina's mum who walked in on them but that info is not verified yet.

They are also allegations that Regina's recent dramatic weight loss has to do with her being seriously sick recently from some kind of poisoning and the informant also insinuates that the young actress recently suffered a miscarriage.

I contacted Regina to find out if the allegations were true and she respectfully told me that her problems with anyone whether true or not should not be a topic for the Internet..

I explained to her that my job as Journalist is to balance what is whispered with her own side of the story if she is willing to give it and she says

"There are many fake stories about me that i cant explain all but from now on any fake stories about me will be handled"

I asked her about all the rumour and she said "its about my life and i don't want to talk about it"

I asked her why her hubby Ned Nwoko chased Cassie away and she replied

"I sent her away not my husband"

I asked her if it was true that Cassie her former best friend had tried to seduce her hubby Ned Nwoko and she said

"No,she never did that.the case is different.It has nothing to do with my husband or anything,she is not that kind of person.You know when there is a group of friends and one betrays the girl code,things are bound to happen.it was not just me that sent her away but friends and family that felt betrayed"

I asked if she was poisoned and she replied "I was never poisoned"

I asked more questions and tried to extract more info from her but Regina was done responding and she "lock up" (Waffy slang)

I forgot to ask her if it was true that her mum had put a ban to all the married actresses who suddenly became her friend and visiting her in Abuja and staying in her house……I forgot to ask!!!
