Kenya Moore to divorce husband 2 years after marriage

Posted: 22 Sep 2019 07:30 AM PDT

Kenya Moore is set to divorce her husband, Marc Daly who she has been married to for two years.

According to TMZ, the couple has decided to call it quits on mutual ground. Kenya Moore is said to have released a statement saying "Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage."

The statement also says "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star's sole focus is dedicated to raising her daughter, Brooklyn. Kenya Moore and Marc Daly welcomed their first daughter together in 2018. Kenya was 49 when she gave birth to Brooklyn who she calls a 'Miracle Baby.'

There are indications that Marc Daly might take some legal actions against naysayers because of the subliminal statement he released. "Rumors, innuendo or false accusations only serve to hurt our family and will be addressed through counsel as the law permits."

Kenya and Marc tied the knot in a surprise ceremony in St. Lucia in June 2017. The couple joins the list of Hollywood celebrities who will be ending 2019 divorced or separated.

BBNaija2019 - Last couples standing: Mercy, Ike, Diane and Elo

Posted: 22 Sep 2019 06:00 AM PDT

After 82 days in BBNaija 2019 Pepper Dem House, the two members of the Powerpuff girls, Mercy and Diane make the list of the last couples standing.

In the last 82 days, 26 housemates – at different times – had lived together with some falling in love and others playing the game using love strategies.
Notable relationships in the house that failed and existed include Khafi and Gedoni, Nelson and Diane, Frodd and Esther, Omashola and Venita, and Seyi and Tacha which has been broken beyond repair.

However, four housemates – Mercy, Ike, Diane, and Elozonam – emerged the last two couples standing. With Mercy and Ike setting off their relationship in their third week in the house, the pair set the pace for other housemates to follow.

Despite telling Mercy and Esther that she doesn't dig light-skinned men, Diane fell in love with the brilliant and charming Elozonam after his fourth week in the house.

Here are the two last couple standing in the BBNaija 2019 Pepper Dem house.

Mercy and Ike
Like a regular couple, the two get on each other's nerves, yet groove together, drink and even smoke together. When the 'Icy' pair are not having a row, it's always beautiful to see them display their affection towards each other.

Though Mercy believes she's nurturing Ike on how to love her more, Ike makes conscious effort to butter her up by complimenting her to high heavens. From telling her she is so beautiful to have glowing skin to having the perfect nose, Ike exudes his charming especially when they are both cuddled up in their bed.

Interestingly, the 'Icy' pair sure have some interesting moments in their 82 days stay in the house. The pair remains the most mischievous couple that Biggie has ever hosted in his house. From stealing Esther's coins to playing a condom prank on other housemates to planning on how to take over the house, the pair have remained two of the viewers' favourites.

The two have also had some bitter moments in the house. From Ike's confrontation with Seyi and Joe at different times to Mercy smashing Oppo mobile phone after she was provoked by Gedoni. And as a couple, the two have had their differences with Mercy – on most occasions – claiming Ike is yet to understand how to love her, the way she wants.

To celebrate their 82nd day in the house Ike and Mercy were treated to a wonderful moment when 2Baba decided to sing one of his love hits, 'True Love' as the lovebirds known as the 'Icy' and 'MerIke' pair danced to the lovely tune.

Diane and Elozonam
Elozonam, though, in his eighth week in the house, has become one of the forces to reckon with in the BBNaija 2019 Pepper Dem house.

Elozonam and Diane didn't just kick off like Mercy and Ike because the entry of Elozonam, Joe, Venita, Cindy, and Enkay messed with Diane's mind having spent four weeks in the house.

Diane had tried to be careful and wary of the new five housemates but love-struck in the seventh week when she found herself drifting towards Elozonam.

A competitive and brilliant lad, Elozonam was quick in working his way to the top by coming out tops in challenges and contributing as an important team member in team tasks.

Despite telling Mercy and Esther that she doesn't dig light-skinned men, Diane fell in love with the brilliant and charming Elozonam after his fourth week in the house.

As their emotions grew deeper, the two had frictions and became victims of the Veto Power Holder card two weeks consecutively. Aside from fighting their emotions, Elozonam had to battle Frodd, who remains bitter that Elozonam saved Venita to replace her with him using the Veto Power card.

However, the pair were able to settle their rift with Mercy coming handy in dishing out relationship advice that has since seen Elo expressing his feelings for Diane and Diane reciprocating through her actions.

The two have become inseparable and share a particular bond with the Icy pair so much that when Elo emerged the Head of House for the 12th week, the Head of House room was shared with Diane and by extension, the Icy pair.

Interestingly, the 'Icy' pair and the 'DiaElo' pair have been enjoying the Head of House room privileges for a while now. The 'Icy' pair emerged the first 'Heads of House' in the 10th week and the 'DiaElo' pair were constant features in the room. In the 11th week, Cindy emerged the Head of House and both pairs enjoyed having conversations in the Head of House room because Cindy belongs to the Enigma team.

Here’s Why Ali Baba thinks A Lot of Young Women are “way too eligible” for Men in their Age Bracket

Posted: 22 Sep 2019 03:00 AM PDT

Ali Baba is sharing his thoughts on marriage and why young women of today are way too eligible for the men in their age bracket in an Instagram post.

He pointed out that most women in this generation are taking their lives more seriously and have pursued and achieved goals that have set them in the right path for life. But sadly the same cannot be said for most men who easily become intimidated by the successes of the women in their lives

Ali Baba is sharing his thoughts on marriage and why young women of today are way too eligible for the men in their age bracket in an Instagram post

He pointed out that most women in this generation are taking their lives more seriously and have pursued and achieved goals that have set them in the right path for life. But sadly the same cannot be said for most men who easily become intimidated by the successes of the women in their lives

Read his post below:

And when the young ladies decide to pocket the achievements and advantages they have, so they can submit to a man in that their age bracket, many of these men have been sooo beaten by the tides of life, that they are too busy fighting the wife they should work with.

Any attempt by the wife to suggest to him to get up and do something to succeed, is treated as disrespect, nagging, pressure and sometimes stress.

One guy was so broken by the frustration of not having made it since he graduated in 2010, and still without a job, that he wanted his Assistant Manager fiance, to move to his father's house in Magodo, from the Oniru 2 bedroom, she presently occupied.

Why don't you move in with her and make your great moves from there? "Never. I can't marry and move into my wife's house." That is from a 32 year old guy, who still lives in his parents house.

Don't get me wrong ooo. The economy is messed up. Our politicians have not done much to drag us out of the down turn. After elections, they start working toward the next election.

The problem has left many young men, not ready to be married. They are not prepared or do not have what it takes to be a man that can take a woman as wife. And not just as wife, to even be able to provide as the head of the house.

So the few men who are loaded and ready, are few and in very high demand. Many ladies can hurt any other lady who tries to take any rare find, of such a man. Especially if he has a house, good job, good car, looks good, dresses well and has very few defects.

So what's the issue? The issue now, is that, even when these kind of young men, meet young ladies, who (by any reason) had a headstart, the young men are too faaaaaar behind, ill equipped and unprepared in the sourcing for opportunities and management of the relationship.

They are now slaves to ego, frustration, pride, peer pressure, poverty of mind and sometimes total disillusionment.

Look around. Don't say I told you. Everywhere. There are many, who don't know what to do, how to do it, where to do it, when to do it… Even with a Masters Degree in Bus Admin, LL.M, BA.Arch, Bsc Statistics. Everywhere.
THIS IS THE REASON FOR "Still single"
