Mercy receives N3.6million cash gift from Real Estate Developer

A real estate developer has just gifted Big brother Naija 2019 winner, Mercy Eke with the sum of ten thousand dollars (N3.6m).

Mercy shared the good news via her Instagram page, saying she was gifted with Visual money, not audio money.

The BBNaija 2019 champ was so overwhelmed about the cash gift, as she expressed the fact that it is her first cash gift outside the house. She also said anyone in doubt should ask Frodd to confirm the authenticity of the news, since he was present at the time she was given the cash.

She concluded the video by thanking the real estate developer for her kind gesture, calling her a 'talk and do'.

DJ Cuppy, the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola took to her Instagram page to flaunt the glittering chain gift she received from her alleged boyfriend, Anthony Joshua.

Recall that the Nigerian born British professional boxer, Anthony Joshua recently bought her a customized diamond neck chain (Ote$). He also presented a special gift to DJ Cuppy's dad, Femi Otedola.


Cuppy shared a photo of herself rocking the chain some moments ago, saying she's going to rock the chain everywhere like a boss.

Frodd receives N1million cash gift from Real Estate Investor

Big Brother Naija finalist, Frodd has also received the sum of N1million from Ned Okonkwo, the same investor who gifted Mercy with N3.6million.

Sharing the good news via his Instagram page, Frodd posted a screenshot of the credit alert of N1million from Mr. Ned Okonkwo.

He was so full of thanks as he expressed his joy about the cash gift.

He wrote;
"Blessing upon blessings! Thank you Mr Ned Okonkwo! God bless you real good!"

The exposure and goodwill that comes with being in the Big brother Naija house is no doubt something to look forward to. Although the show has come to an end, the ex-housemates are still cashing out.

World’s most fertile mother who gave birth to 44 children has finally been stopped from having more kids

Doctors have finally found a way to stop Mariam Nabatanzi, said to be the world's most fertile woman from having more kids.

The 36-year-old Ugandan woman had a total of 44 children including four sets of twins, five sets of triplets and five quadruplets.

Nabatanzin, now a single mother who works as a tailor, hairdresser and herbalist to earn enough money to raise her 38 surviving children was reportedly sold into marriage at the age of 12 to a man who was 40-year-old at that time (28 years her senior). She had her first child one year later.


"Generally, I have tried to educate them. My dream is that my children go to school. They can lack anything (else), but they must go to school," Nabatazni revealed in a recent Al Jazeera documentary.

"I can't say they are nagging because they are my children. I can't say I will abandon them because they are my children and I love them," Nabatazni added.

She recalled being warned by a doctor that birth control, like the Pill, could cause her problems because she had unusually large ovaries. So after her first set of twins, the babies just kept coming.


Mirror reported that at 23, Nabatazni had 25 children and was desperately begging her doctor for help to stop her from having any more. However the medical advice was for her to continue getting pregnant because her ovary count was so high.

Her last pregnancy which led to the birth of her sixth set of twins 3 years ago, ended in tragedy. One of the babies died while she was in labour and then her husband who would often leave for weeks, left her for good.


Mariam said: "I have grown up in tears, my man has passed me through a lot of suffering. "All my time has been spent looking after my children and working to earn some money."


It was after that pregnancy that she got the medical help she needed to stop her having more babies. She said the doctor told her he had "cut my uterus from inside".

Dr Charles Kiggundu, a gynecologist at Mulago Hospital in Kampala, Uganda, said:

"Her case is genetic predisposition to hyper-ovulate, which is releasing multiple eggs in one cycle, which significantly increases the chance of having multiples; it is always genetic."

A video of a severely malnourished naked woman, standing under the Jubilee Bridge in Ajah, shocked Nigerians when it went viral and people wondered how she found herself in such situation.

A reader of LIB who claims to be an eyewitness has now given an update.

Wole Elekula says the woman was not thrown out of a moving car as claimed by the Twitter user who shared the story. He says she was found fully-clothed in a bush in Ajah by a man. The man who found her brought her to the road where she became a spectacle as people gathered to gawk at her for a whole day.


She reportedly took her clothes off the day after and stayed there until her story went viral and help came.

An update from those who took her off the road gave her name as Ene and said she has been taken to LUTH were tests have been carried.

"I was there and people that sell in the area said she was around that axis about a day or so although wearing clothes and still looking lean.

"Apparently according to reliable sources , a young man found in a bush around ajah and brought her outside, even gave her 200 naira to buy food, then she could talk , the girl said she went to Ile ife to see her boyfriend and she is from delta state as origin and that she lives in awoyaya.afterwards she could no longer talk.

"Then yesterday she pulled off her clothes and sat by the roadside around 3 pm or so. A car accidentally hit her on that spot , hence the.bruises on her body.

"No Benz dropped her. Annoyingly a Lagos state government 911 emergency bus came, after seeing her condition they took off. Policemen around the area stayed away despite pleas .one even cane and shot 3 times in the air to disperse crowd but they never went close and people re gathered taking pictures and laughing.

"This girl could still be saved if taken to a mental rehab and possible spiritual help from a real babalawo not pastors who are majorly fake in real situations like this . Pastors stage miracles, deliverance , etc at least 95 percent.

"Until 9 pm the girl was still there without any attempt to rescue, the DPO was informed but failed to mobilize policemen. Am sure if they do their work the perpetrators can be caught especially now that it's on all blogs someone might just recognize her and let us know her bf or who she was last seen with."

Nigerians are in mourning following the tragic fire outbreak which happened yesterday at Ochanja market and Upper Iweka road, Onitsha.

Yesterday, a petrol tanker exploded around the Ochanja market in Onitsha, causing an inferno that took the lives of many and destroyed properties whose worth are yet to be ascertained.


Allegedly, the Anambra State Government could not provide fire trucks to help combat the flames, as the inferno raged for hours.

Now, Nigerians are mourning on social media, with the likes of Natacha 'Tacha' Akide, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Vector_the_viper and many others praying for the commercial city.

Malnourished naked woman filmed at Ajah

An update on the severely malnourished naked woman allegedly dropped off by a car under Jubilee bridge in Ajah, Lagos, has been given.

The woman's name has been given as Ene. She is reportedly HIV positive and has been taken to Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH.

Twitter user Solomon Buchi gave the update. In his words;

"Pls help. This is Ene. She is HIV positive. If you stay in Ajah, you'll see her naked with people throwing stones and hurling insults at her. My friend rushed to take her from the road to LUTH, trying to get her medical care. LUTH is delaying. Pls retweet. We need to save her"

The President of the United States, Mr.Donald Trump has written what is being dubbed as one of the most presidential letters of all time.

According to a letter released by the White House in Washington on Wednesday, Trump warned Turkish President, Recep Erdogan, not to be " a fool!".

The letter was about Turkey's incursion into Syria that was reportedly dismissed by the Turkish president.

Trump wrote: "Let's work out a good deal!" Mr Trump said. "You don't want to be responsible for slaughtering thousands of people, and I don't want to be responsible for destroying the Turkish economy – and I will.

"I have worked hard to solve some of your problems. Don't let the world down. You can make a great deal.

"History will look upon you favourably if you get this done the right and humane way. It will look upon you forever as the devil if good things don't happen. Don't be a tough guy. Don't be a fool!"

"I will call you later", added Trump, who recently ordered the withdrawal of forces from northern Syria as the conflict between Turkey and the Kurdish forces escalates.

She left Calabar for Enugu only to find out she’s been chatting with 12-year-old boy

A story shared by a Nigerian lady on popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, has got people talking.

The woman claimed to have travelled to another state just to visit a man only to find a boy who is not even a teenager.

The lady identified by her Twitter handle as @Nobodyvexx recounted how she travelled all the way from Calabar, Cross River state to Enugu state just to visit a man she has been chatting up.

@Nobodyvexx expressed that she got to the place only to find out that she had been chatting with a 12-year-old boy.

"So I wasted my Transport fare from Calabar to Enugu only to find out That have been chatting with 12 years old boy", she tweeted

Nigerians reacted to the story with mixed reactions. Some expressed shock at the fact that she did not know it was a 12-year-old and others said he is a 12-year-old but also a man.

According to other users, they found her story to be unbelievable and accused her of lying to people.

‘Married’ actress Kemi Afolabi clashes with another lady over Actor Gida

Nollywood actress Kemi Afolabi is reportedly enmeshed in a 'love fight' with a lady identified as Gloria Johnson over her colleague Dauda Sulaimon a.k.a Gida.

Kemi Afolabi who took their fight to Instagram, alleged that Gloria Johnson threatened her several times and she had to report to relevant authorities. The actress also shared the number used to issue the death threat.

Iheanacho Set To Leave Leicester In January On ONE Condition

All Nigeria Soccer reports that Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho could be on his way to join former teammate Mikel Obi in the Turkish league as Besiktas Presidential Candidate Ahmet Nur promised to sign the Leicester City's striker if he is elected.



Iheanacho has been sounded out about joining the Istanbul club following talks between Erdal Torunogullari (who is Ahmet Nur's ally) and the striker's representative. It is claimed that the Nigeria international could be joining Besiktas on an initial 18-month loan deal if negotiations are successful, Fotospor reports.


His first team chances have been limited under managers Craig Shakespeare, Claude Puel and Brendan Rodgers, with only 16 starts in the Premier League from a possible 84 since his transfer from Manchester City in August 2017.



According to reports from some quarters, Iheanacho is struggling to gain playing time this season due to the presence of Jamie Vardy and summer signing Ayoze Perez, and a move away from the King Power Stadium when the transfer window reopens in January 2020 would be the sensible thing to do. The 23-year-old's only appearance for the Foxes this season came against Luton Town in the third round of the League Cup.

Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar has replied a troll who slid into her DM to make abusive and controversial remarks about her.

The troll referred to her as a shapeless amoeba, who has refused to develop a nice body physique, despite the waist trainers and body training.

Reacting to this, Halima posted a screenshot of the troll's messages, saying she doesn't need people who wish her bad on her followers list, and everyone who has nothing good to offer should kindly unfollow.

The troll also accused Halima of copying Tonto Dikeh. Reacting to this, Halima said she doesn't copy people. Rather, people copy her.
