Recall, it was reported that 40 million has been set down by Hushpuppi, Willexo for the face-off between both rappers. Samklef, has also now shown interest and added a little cash to the prize money. The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, has made a great revelation with regards to Nigeria border closure.Emefiele spoke on Sunday in Washington at a press conference at the end of the World Bank/IMF Annual Meetings.The Governor described the results recorded in just one week as phenomenal, noting that farmers and other goods producers recorded high returns, Daily Post reports.Emefiele recalled explained that neighbouring countries failed to heed several warnings to stop smuggling into Nigeria.In his words: "The president avoided giving the order but he had to take the decision to safeguard Nigeria's economy and security. "Nigeria has its policy, programmes and our neighbouring countries must abide. We must grown our manufacturing and agricultural sector "Since 2015, Mr President has been inisisting that we must eat what we produce and produce what we eat. "While we working hard to grow our economy, some country undermine this. They allow these products to be smuggled through their borders. Since 2015, Nigeria has been raising alarm but nothing changed. "Before the closure, rice millers called protested; that they had 30,000 metric tonnes of rice's they couldn't sell. Poultry owners too couldn't sell eggs. "A week after, they called back to say they have sold everything. So with this development, there are jobs for poultry and maize farmers, millers and others. "Before the borders are open, firms decisions and agreement must be reached. We must get strong commitment from our neighbours".  | ||||||

The proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has reacted to the death of the mother of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Lolo Sally Ugoeze.Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who had announced Sunday morning of the death, said his mother died on August 30 in Germany after battling undisclosed protracted illness, Daily Post reports.The IPOB leader however accused the federal government of contributing to the death of his mother, with the incident of September 2017, where soldiers had allegedly invaded his house in Umuahia, Abia State.The controversial leader said, "Watching her children being hunted and killed by the federal government was the cause of her illness, and today we have lost her."I had said before that I was ready to sacrifice anything for Biafra, and today I have sacrificed my mum. We will not be deterred, we shall continue to fight for the freedom of our people." Reacting to the incident, IPOB condoled with the Kanu family over the development. Emma Powerful the spokesperson of the group in statement signed by him, said: "We the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) felt pain and sorrow for the announcement of sudden death of our mother, Mrs. and Lolo Ugoeze Sally Nmeme Kanu, who died on 30th of August, 2019 in German hospital after a brief illness because of numerous attacks by Nigerian government and security forces on her Afaraukwu family and the people of Biafra since 2015. "Our heart-felt condolences to the entire IPOB family worldwide but more specifically to our indomitable leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his entire family of His Royal Majesty Sir Eze I. O Kanu (Egwu-ukwu II of Afara-Ukwu) on the passing on to glory of the mother of all mothers, late Lolo Ugoeze Sally Nmeme Okwu-Kanu, the womb that gave birth to the most brave of all, the sagacious, the indefatigable and the unstoppable enigmatic leader of IPOB worldwide, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. "IPOB worldwide commiserates with our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and entire family for the irreparable loss and vacuum created by enemy within the family of Biafra, we pray to Almighty God Chukwu Okike Abiama to grant us the fortitude to bear the loss. | Samklef – After Wizkid blew, kids started dropping out of school to pursue music Posted: 20 Oct 2019 02:00 AM PDT  Nigerian music producer Samklef has said that he would be releasing a documentary on how superstar singer Wizkid inspired Afrobeats revolution in Nigeria. The music producer took to his social media page to share the news and it got his fans excited. According to him, the documentary would be released soon and it would reveal how Wizkid's success started a new Afrobeat movement. He noted that the moment Wizkid became successful in his career, many young people started dropping out of school to start a career in music. Samklef explained that artistes like Dammy Krane and Flow Sick left their academics to pursue their music career. According to him, some people even left America for Nigeria to join the train. It was earlier reported that Samklef's career as a music producer was noticed when he produced Durela's 'My Life', but his major breakthrough came after he produced Wizkid's 'Tease Me', which was followed by his own 'Molowo Noni' and other subsequent hits. Sadly, the duo went their separate ways after a misunderstanding between them.   |
