Actress and ex-BBNaija housemate, Venita Akpofure has shared an adorable photo of her daughters via Instagram, which she captioned "sisters that play together".

The actress who is also a model, earlier revealed in an interview, that the motivating factor in whatever she does is to be a role model for her two daughters. She said, "I need to be a role model my girls can emulate. They don't need to do what I do, but I want them to have the same work ethics and drive."

There is no doubt that the gorgeous Nollywood actress and model has remained relevant in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

The owner of Victoria Crescent homes, Ned Okonkwo, reportedly made the house very affordable for her. This is in addition to the $10,000 which she initially received from the estate mogul. Cubana Chiefpriest, Ike and others were present at the scene.

Earlier today, a video of Wizkid pressing Tiwa Savage's bum during their 'Malo' performance in Starboy Fest Paris, went viral.

Different reactions from Nigerians have trailed the video since it emerged. While some praised the duo for maintaining the friendship for a long time, others slammed Tiwa for being too loose and showing the "I don't care" attitude.

Apparently, the female music star isn't bothered by the negative comments and reactions that have trailed the video since it became public, rather she has praised herself for having a 'soft yansh'.

Wizkid and Naira Marley shade ‘Headies 2019’ after Zlatan lost to Rema

Popular Naija musicians, Naira Marley and Wizkid have both criticized the 2019 Headies Awards ceremony which saw Zlatan Ibile lose the 'Next-rated' award to Rema.

Recall that Wizkid shut down the 02 Arena in London last night, the same time the Headies event was ongoing in Lagos, and this did not go unnoticed.


Folks wondered if he deliberately planned his show to clash with the awards ceremony, especially since he brought out most of Nigeria's top artistes to perform at his own event, leaving on a few behind for the Headies.


Now, Naira Marley, who performed at Wizkid's event yesterday, has taken to his Twitter to diss the awards event, saying that his 'legwork' at Wizkid's concert is "bigger than Headies 2019."

APC speaks on Petition against Bola Tinubu Over Bullion Vans

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has spoken on the petition submitted to the anti graft agemcy, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

A group led by Deji Adeyanju, known as concerned Nigerians, submitted a petition to the EFCC asking it to probe the bullion vans sighted in the residence of the APC leader on the eve of the 2019 elections.

The petition which is reportedly dated October 25 was signed by Adeyanju on behalf of concerned Nigerians and two other activists – Ariyo Dare Atoye and Adebayo Raphael.

Supreme Court makes decision on Atiku vs Buhari fresh suit

A fresh suit filed by the Hope Democratic Party (HDP) and it's presidential candidate, Ambrose Owuru, challenging the declaration of President Muhammadu Buhari as winner of the Feb. 23 presidential election, was on Monday struck out by the Supreme Court.

The apex court however bowed to hear the appeal afresh following protest by the party that the court's earlier decision which dismissed the appeal was based on technicality rather than on merits of law.

The Supreme Court struck out the appeal following the dramatic withdrawal of an application praying for restoration of the appeal to be heard afresh.

Beautiful Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has been repeatedly vilified by all and sundry over her marriage to billionaire businessman and lawyer, Prince Ned Nwoko because of almost 40 years difference in their ages.

But in a recent chat with Potpourri the actress says she's living her best life, giving reasons she loves her aged husband.

"His honesty. He's the most honest person I have ever met. In short, I love his honesty," she said, adding that she has no regrets whatsoever and has not missed anything by marrying someone old enough to be her father.

"Well, I have never actually liked hanging out with my age mates. I go for people that are far older than me, so I could learn something from them or people who are bellow, so I could teach them something and being married to my husband hasn't stopped me from relating with those people," she said, adding that marriage has robbed her of nothing.

"I can't think of anything marriage has robbed me of, because when I was single, my life was always about acting, schooling and I didn't have time for party but now that I'm married I could go out for parties. I can even say I'm more privileged to have more opportunities now to do things than when I was single."

On her initiation into the Aniocha women's cult after her marriage, a traditional rite presumed to shackle the actress and prevent her from ever marrying any other man, she said it was more of honour than bondage.

"First of all, I will not call it an initiation, it's more like being welcomed to womanhood and for you to be part of that group. It's an elite group, you must be married and be a woman of substance. I will say I'm even privileged to be part of that group," she said.

According to the lady, the electrician was shocked when she called him his name and surname which she saw on true caller😂. This prompted the electrician to request for prayer thinking she was a Prophet.

"A new electrician came to work in our house. I called him his name and surname cuz that's what I saw on true caller😂. Dude was so shocked and started asking me if I am a Prophet! Teni explains why she mentioned Dangote and Otedola in her songs

Award winning singer, Teniola Apata, better known as Teni the Entertainer has explained why she mentioned the names of popular people in her songs.

In a couple of songs, Teni has mentioned the names of the richest man in Nigeria, Aliko Dangote and a Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola.

Explaining why she mentioned their names in her songs, Teni told Punch in an interview that she incorporated their names into her songs so that people could relate more with the billionaires.

She said, "I grew up being exposed to a lot of culture and one essential part of that is praise-singing people. I decided to incorporate that practice into my songs so that people could relate more with them."


Contrary to opinions in some quarters that Teni mentioned Dangote and Otedola's names in her recent song titled 'Billionaire' to get money from the two business men, the singer said, the song was meant to encourage people to live their best lives.

"This project basically encourages people to lead their best lives, achieve their dreams and generally enjoy what life has to offer. No doubt, life has its challenges, but sometimes, one just needs to take a break and enjoy it," she said.
