Singer, Tekno leaves disturbing message after deleting all Instagram posts

Nigerian singer, Tekno has deleted all his pictures and videos on Instagram. Tekno would not be the first artiste to make such a bold move as Wizkid and Tiwa Savage have done so in the past giving no explanation for their actions.

This unusual and erratic behavior could be as a result of the "Agege" singer wanting a fresh start in his life.

Earlier this year, he underwent an extremely painful surgery to repair his vocal cord which left him with an implanted magnet in his throat. Tekno is also known to have issues with his baby mama and fellow singer, Lola Rae.

The singer also took to his Instagram story to also share a shocking message "Tables will Turn".

What could he be trying to pass across?

Nigerian music sensations, Burna Boy and Teni have been nominated for the 2019 MTV Europe Music Awards.

The Nigerian acts will be competing for the ' Best African Act ' category against the likes of South Africa's Nasty C, Tanzania's Harmonize and Togo's duo Toofan.

In the international scene, Ariana Grande leads with seven nods while Lil Nas X, Shawn Mendes, Billie Eilish each secured six nominations.

J Balvin follows closely with five nominations while Taylor Swift join the above contenders for 'Best U.S. Act', scoring four nominations.

Singer, Naira Marley makes Nollywood debut in Regina Daniel’s movie

Nigerian music superstar Azeez Eniola aka Naira Marley recently shared an unexpected piece of information with his fans and followers on social media.

The controversial rapper shared a clip on his official Instagram page that revealed that he was part of a Nollywood movie production.

Although Marley did not reveal a lot about the role he played in the film, from the clip shared, it appears the rapper's character had something to do with the larger than life lifestyle, which is often portrayed in his music videos.


The movie titled The Enemy I know was made under the production company of teen Nollywood actress and wife of Nigerian billionaire, Ned Nwoko, Regina Daniels.

Sharing the post online, Naira Marley asked his followers who would like to go and watch the movie with him.

The movie also features popular Instagram comedian Broda Shaggi, as well as a host of veteran actors and actresses in the movie industry.

Former BBNaija star Cee-c denies shading disqualified contestant Tacha

Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, Cynthia Nwadiora, popularly known as Ceec, has reacted to some internet users that attempted to twist her words.

The reality star recently shared a set of stunning photos on her official Instagram page. One of the photos, however, came with a caption that internet trolls have attempted to twist.
Cee-c had expressed that people can attempt to try to be like her, but they would never come close.

"They can steal your recipe but the sauce won't taste the same! Stay focused," the caption read


Reacting to the post, some Instagram users were spotted in the comment section suggesting that the caption was an indirect shade at Pepper Dem housemate Tacha, who many have accused of trying to be like Cee-c.

However, Cee-c did not seem to be having any of what the trolls were trying to stir, as she took to the Instastory channel of her page, to address the issue.

The reality star expressed that not every caption is a shade and as such, people should stop trying to create problem where it does not exist.

Genevieve Nnaji’s ‘Lionheart’ is Nigeria’s Selection for 2020 Oscars

The Nigerian Oscars Selection Committee (NOSC) has selected Genevieve Nnaji's 'Lionheart' as Nigeria's submission to the International Feature Film category of the 2020 Oscars.

According to Channels News, the committee announced the selection on Wednesday, following a statutory vetting and subsequent voting of entries received from Nigerian filmmakers at home and abroad.

'Lionheart' was produced by Chinny Onwugbenu, Chichi Nwoko, Genevieve Nnaji and directed by Genevieve Nnaji, premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and got featured as the first Netflix original film produced in Nigeria.

The movie stars Pete Edochie, Genevieve Nnaji, Nkem Owoh, Onyeka Onwenu, Kanayo .O. Kanayo, Chika Okpala, Kalu Ikeagwu, Sanni Mu'azu, Yakubu Mohammed, Ngozi Ezeonu, Peter Okoye (P-Square) and Chibuzor Azubuike (Phyno).

'Lionheart', which is Nnaji's directorial debut, tells the story of a young woman, Adaeze Obiagu (Genevieve Nnaji), who becomes saddled with the responsibility of running her sick father's business under the suffocating supervision of an uncle, played by Nkem Owoh.

Adaeze's competing business instincts and family obligations become a catalyst for drastic change not everyone is ready to embrace.

The 12-man Nigerian Oscars Selection Committee (NOSC), is chaired by Chineze Anyaene with Mahmood Ali-Balogun as vice chairman.
