When it comes to the things Nigerian singer Davido holds dearly to his heart, family time definitely holds rank on that list and he continues to prove this with the way he spends time with his kids.

Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, popularly known by his stage name, Davido, has warmed the hearts of many of his fans with a fun photo of himself with his two daughters.


He recently took to his Instagram page to share a totally adorable photo of himself with his two daughters, Imade and Hailey. In the photo, the two little girls can be seen laughing as their father struggles to hold them in his arms.

Sharing the photo, he wrote: "My girls … hands full ! I gatts put Baby David for head lmao"

Nigerian ace producer and record label boss, Don Jazzy has got every reason to be happy as his younger sister just bagged a first class BA (Hons.) in Film and Television Production.

Don Jazzy's father, Mr Collins Enebeli fondoly called Mavin Grandpa on Instagram took to his Instagram page to celebrate his daughter Joy Solano.


He wrote:

Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh may come with all the drama in the world but you cannot take away her soft spot of extending her riches to others that don't have so much.

The actress through her foundation, The Tonto Dikeh foundation hit the slums and shanties to feed the less privileged children.


Tonto Dikeh established the Tonto Dikeh foundation in 2000 and it is aimed at making life better for all displaced and underprivileged women, girls, youth, and children in Africa, irrespective of their Politically, Religious and Cultural differences.

The actress took to her Instagram page to share some beautiful photos of her and the less privileged children, with a caption "Can God Trust You With Enough"

The day started as a lovely and bright first day in November till people started responding to a controversial tweet made by Captain Charisma (@D_iiW).

It appears that Nigerian guys have bottled in a lot of wrongdoings from their fellow compatriots of the Opposite sex. A twitter user replied with a photo showing different styles and colours of footwear popular in the wardrobe of many Nigerian ladies.



The user who tweeted the photo showing sandals didn't know he had spoken the mind of many as the photos caused a lot of outrage.

The male folks had to hail him for taking one for the team as the female folks showed their contempt and try all means to fizzle out of the narrative.

Atiku: PDP top leaders reportedly begins plans towards 2023

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), main opposition party in Nigeria, is said to have begun in earnest, its plans towards  2023 following the recent judgement of the Supreme Court on the Presidential election petition of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

The PDP Presidential candidate, had challenged the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) during the 2019 election. Atiku had lost at the tribunal and the Supreme Court respectively.

Top power brokers and political leaders in the opposition PDP are reported to have begun search for a possible credible candidate ahead of 2023 Presidential election, Daily Trust reports.

So far there seem to be some disagreement between the governors and some power brokers who were visibly disposed to the emergence of a flag bearer from the northern part of the country while those from the south, however continue to make cases for themselves.

A member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the party from the southern part of the country was quoted as saying some leaders from the north were not comfortable with the emergence of Atiku in 2019.

"Now that our case has been thrown out, there are pockets of agitations regarding which zone should produce the presidential candidate in 2023.
"But I think the party also needs to handle this matter with caution because, already, many of our members are likely to jump ship to the APC," he noted.

Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan, the PDP national spokesperson, however said the party had not decided on the 2023 matter.

He said; "It's even too early to talk about 2023, but I can assure you that the future of the PDP is very bright," adding that the party was still waiting for the details of the Supreme Court judgement.

JUST IN: CBN Gov. Emefiele discloses what will happen if Nigeria borders remain closed for another two years

Mr Godwin Emefiele, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, says if border closure is sustained for the next two years, issue of insurgency, banditry and kidnapping will be a thing of the past in the country.

The CBN Governor stated this at the first Convocation Lecture of Edo State University, Iyamho, Auchi on Friday, Daily Post reports.

Emiefele, responding to questions after his lecture entitled "The Role of Monetary Policy towards Economic Growth in Nigeria," revealed that the border closure was capable of tackling all security challenges currently being experienced in the country.

The Governor, stated that if the youth, who were in these vices were gainfully engaged in meaningful activities, the insecurity would reduce to the barest minimum.

"I can tell you that if our borders remain closed for two years, the issue of 'Boko Haram', Kidnapping, Banditry and 'Yahoo-Yahoo' will stop.

"CBN will promote this policy by making sure that we produce what we consume and eat what we produce," he said.

He vowed that the apex bank would not allow the country to be used as a dumping ground for smuggling goods.

Emefiele, however, decried the actions of some neighbouring countries which he said was not helping matters.

The governor explained that instead of some neighbouring countries to develop policies to grow their own economies rather they engaged in things that undermined Nigerian economy.

He said when Nigeria as a country increased import duty on rice to discourage importation, those neighbouring countries reduced their own duties to get rice importation to be smuggled to the country.

"We no longer want what they are importing to our country because we can produce them and CBN will do everything possible to promote domestic products," he said.

Emefiele challenged youth and old to go into agriculture because it was one of the major ways to grow the economy.

The election of Garba Muhammad Gololo of the All Progressives Congress, APC, representing Gamawa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, has been nullified by the Court of Appeal sitting in Jos, Friday.

Garba was disqualified for presenting forged BSc, MA and NYSC certificates to contest in the 2019 election.

Recall that Mr. Isa Muhammad Wabu, of the New Nigerian People's Party, NNPP, had challenged the lawmaker's BSc, MA, claimed to have been obtained from the Lagos State University.

WhatsApp introduces fingerprint lock for Android

Sometimes ago, WhatsApp promised it's teaming users that they will deliver biometric security to Android users, following the success of the feature on beta testing for iOS users,  it's now available for everyone.

According to a statement from the tech giant, the latest version of WhatsApp allows you to lock your logs, conversations and the app itself with your enrolled fingerprint.

For you to enjoy the feature, all you have to do is go to the Settings > Account > Privacy > Fingerprint lock after you've updated the App to the latest version.

The company had made it easier for users with an additional setting for lock timer, which makes it convenient because you probably wouldn't want to unlock your conversations every single time you make use of the App.

Davido turns on savage mode, blasts activist Kayode Ogundamisi

Earlier on, we reported the news of how the ladies who accused Davido of getting one of them pregnant, Susan and Helen, were arrested. In a clip which was shared on Instagram, the ladies can be seen sitting on a couch, handcuffed and interrogated.

Following their arrest, there have been mixed reactions on social media. While some people expressed their support for the singer for getting them to face the law, others believed he was a bit harsh with them, considering they already apologised.

One of such people who hold this opinion is Kayode Ogundamisi, who insinuated that the singer's decision to deal with his accusers was tantamount to tyranny.

Kayode's tweet reads;

Naira Marley – ”Having big booty is better than having master degree”

Nigerian rapper Naira Marley has made a controversial tweet on Twitter that has got him trending on the platform.

In his tweet, the 'Jo Soapy' crooner stated that a woman who has a big butt is better than one with a Masters degree. He also went on to pray for his female followers to have bigger butt and flat stomach.

Kemi Olunloyo claims Mompha is lodging somewhere in a private hotel

Investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has stated that she has evidence to prove that Mompha who is in EFCC custody is lodging in a private hotel and reporting to office every morning.

Kemi Olunloyo took to her social media page to call out EFCC to confirm or deny the claim that Mustapha Ismaila aka Mompha who was arrested and put in custody for fraud is lodging in a private hotel.


She wrote;

"@officialEFCC Per new reports pls confirm or deny that Ismaila Mustapha aka Mompha is in your custody but however lodging in a private hotel and reports to your antigraft agency daily. I have credible Information to support this. It is imperative for the public to know #kemitalks

Actress Iyabo Ojo deletes all IG posts after calling out colleagues for snitching on one another

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo who earlier called our colleagues for dishing out information to bloggers, has deleted all her IG posts.

However, she saved just three posts which are those of her kids and one advert she is running for a product.

On Tuesday, The actress took to social media to speak against the act which she says only profits bloggers.

According to the mother of two, individuals should stop hating and should start living – the actress claims that there's so much information that's being leaked online and as such, bloggers feed on them which then creates hurt.

Iyabo Ojo wrote in the post that has now been deleted:

"What exactly is going on peeps? Why are we bent on destroying ourselves? Bloggers are feeding on people's lives like there's no tomorrow. Information coming out from colleagues to the ears of bloggers, sending anonymous dms just to tarnish people's image….. From all indications, Iyabo Ojo could be reacting to some articles written about her in a popular blog on Instagram which dishes out information on many actors and their scandals. Already the blog is threatening to reveal some secrets on an alleged relationship with a man living in Abuja.

Samsung W20 5G foldable clamshell launch date confirmed by China Telecom

A teaser from China Mobile via its Weibo account reveals that the foldable Moto razr, a Samsung W20 foldable clamshell phone is right on its way with 5G support, as the world awaits the foldable device era.

The teaser, reveals that the phone is set to arrive in November and would succeed the Samsung W2019 flip phone which is solely available in China.

It could be recalled that the Samsung W20 5G had been previously spotted at a Chinese Expo back in September, and the name was leaked via the same teaser image.

This Samsung's second phone with a foldable display is going to feature a clamshell form factor that opens to a tall display. We wonder if the same hardware that Samsung teased earlier this week has any relation to the company's upcoming W20 5G.

The choice of November as the release time seem interesting. Probably Samsung was working on fixing the issues it had with the Samsung Galaxy Fold, however it is not certain if November will also see the start of the sales or it will only be the announcement of the phone.

Some observers say Samsung's unveiling of it's W20, may be trying to beat Motorola which is reportedly holding its announcement of the new foldable Moto razr in November also.

From all indications, the world would be witnessing the unveiling of two fully foldable clamshell phones before 2020.

President Buhari’s aide Ajuri Ngelale says ‘Davido is unworthy of emulation’

A Senior Special Special Assistant (SSA) to President Mohammadu Buhari, identified as Ajuri Ngelale, has reacted to Davido's outburst at activist and social commentator, Kayode Ogundamisi.

Recall that Davido slammed the activist after he sarcastically said that the music star would be prone to abuse in office, should his uncle Isiaka Adeleke, have emerged as governor of Osun state.

In a recent development, Ngelale while quoting the music star's response on Twitter, submitted that any youngster who defines himself by his material possession, is unworthy of emulation.

"Only empty people use material success to oppress or malign others. You can do better & be a better role model for the millions who look up to you,", he tweeted.
