Blackface finally drags 2Face to court over song theft

Former member of the defunct 'Plantashun Boi', Ahmedu Augustine, popularly known as Blackface, has finally dragged his former friend, Innocent Idibia to court for allegedly stealing his song.

The singer revealed that he waited this long before filing a complaint in court because he was waiting for  2Face  to do what's right.

He wrote on Instagram:

"I sincerely want to apologize to close friends, relatives, well wishers who may have been affected by my actions or inactions over the years. I have always stood for a better Nigeria,equal rights and an agitator for a system in place in our country so adequate compensation be given to not only Nigerian songwriters but song writers and creators all over the world ,an industry where all players in the creative process are recognized and credited for their contribution to any piece of work used commercially or otherwise.

I will never be intimidated by any threat My intention has never been to expose anybody but the truth finds it's way out eventually. My issues with Mr Innocent Idibia aka 2face & co are purely professional and my lawyers have filed my claims in Court, to be served to all parties in due time. I apologize for the delay in taking this step, i was hoping they would do the right thing and the need for me to take them to court will not arise but alas I was wrong.

I believe the legal system will resolve this eventually. I will also continue to defend myself in the 50Million suit they filled against me which comes up for mediation on the 25th of November 2019.

Meanwhile, I will not make any further statements on this issue until both lawsuits are concluded as I have entrusted this matter to my lawyers and the justice system. I appreciate all the good wishes from those who have reached out with their concerns over this protracted matter. Please bear with me as we calmly await the resolution of these cases.

Tuoyo blasts a lady who trolled him for always congratulating ex-BBN housemates bagging endorsements

Former BBNaija housemate Tuoyo Ideh got into an exchange of words with a lady after he congratulated Ike on his new endorsement deal.

Recall that Ike Onyema and Kim Oprah bagged an ambassadorial deal with Remy Martin.

Following Ike's announcement of the deal on his IG page, Tuoyo took to the comment section to congratulate the reality star.

However, a lady who felt irritated by Tuoyo's comment, trolled him for always congratulating ex-BBN housemates bagging endorsements.
"@itstuoyoofficia your own na to dey congratulate pipo upanddown go sign your own na abi godstime is the best things.", the lady wrote.

Responding to the lady's comment, Tuoyo said;

"@mhiza_suru An abortion would have prevented this statement, besides why is your dp looking like an obituary photo."

Tacha shares video of her and Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey on a video call

BBNaija reality star Tacha has taken to her Instagram page to celebrate Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey who turned a year older today.

Recall that Tacha couldn't hide her joy when the tech entrepreneur followed her on Twitter some days ago,.

Tacha posted a short snippet of the video call she had with the tech giant and she seemed very excited to be on a call with him, even though their conversation was muted.

The reality star also penned down a short birthday note for Jack on her page. She thanked him for making Twitter what it is today and also urged her fans to vote the app to win best application of the year.

Burna boy and his team serenade his mother on her birthday

A video of popular Nigerian singer Burna Boy is currently making the rounds on social media that is showing people a soft side of the self-acclaimed African Giant.

Burna Boy's mum and manager Bose Ogulu, had clocked a new age, and in celebration, the doting son appeared to have team up with some of his crew members to celebrate his parent in a beautiful way.

In the video, the Ye crooner and his team members were sighted singing a happy birthday song to his mother.

As they sang, Burna proudly said, "I was the first" while his mother smiled at the love shown her.

It is no longer news that former housemates of BBNaija pepper dem edition, Mercy Eke and Tacha Akide stylishly shade each other on their social media handles.

Both of them come out to throw shades without mentioning names, but their fans obviously know which post is meant for who.

Mercy and Tacha have seemingly had inner beef since a fight between them led to disqualification of the 'Port Harcourt first daughter.'

In an Instagram post, Tacha stated that Mercy keeps wondering how she gets massive supports from fans, while stating that it is beyond her own imagination too.

Sharing a video that talks about one seeing the other as a threat, Tacha wrote; "Truly you cannot figure out what is not meant to be figured out!

"You're welcome to see me as a threat. I mean, every strong and GREAT woman first goes through a phase like this!

"It all starts with not being liked. Quit wondering where the massive support spring comes from for it is not a wonder for the feeble minded. My source of strength remains a mystery even to myself!

Nigerian singer, Teni took to her Twitter page to praise her top colleague, Tiwa Savage. The 49:99 singer had sighted Teni on a plane and stood up to greet her.

The gesture greatly touched Teni and she publicly thanked Tiwa on Twitter for honouring her with the greeting.

Nigerian singer, and DMW Boss Davido took to social media to share an adorable video of himself spending quality time with his newborn son.

Recall that the superstar often shares beautiful photos of his moments with his little girls Imade and Hailey, and since he welcomed his first son Ifeanyi with fiance Chioma, he has made no exception in showing off his bundle of joy.

In a video he posted on his Instastory channel, the singer was seen taking a nap with the baby.

Popular Fashion designer Olorunyomi Omoniyi Makun aka Yomi Casual has announced the arrival of his child with his beautuful wife, Grace today.

Sharing the good news via Instagram, the celebrity fashion designer posted adorable photos of himself and his wife posing with their newborn son which they have already named Olorunyomi Kendrick Makun Jnr.

The much talked about Nokia TV, 55" will boot Android Pie according to media reports, and will come with Google Play Store preinstalled.

The report also stated that it will have Intelligent Dimming technology which will enable it offer better contrast with deeper blacks, because of the algorithm that comes with it.

This technology is similar to what other brands call local dimming or micro dimming.

According to a reliable source, the Nokia TV 55" is scheduled to launch in early part of December, 2019 and should be a competition to OnePlus TV, Mi TV, and Motorola TV.

The growing market of streaming services has turned smartphone brands to TV makers, which surely is an unusual turn of events.

We won't be surprise when in 2020, the number of Smartphone makers, turning to TV rising phenomenally.

Popular internet sensation, Natacha Akide aka Port Harcourt First daughter has given her Titans a new gang slogan.

The reality star, while hailing her Titans in a video, screamed 'body odour gang' and they responded in affirmation.

The level of love which the Titans have for their Trident Queen, despite the controversies surrounding her has made people wonder if Tacha isn't using some sort of Jazz on them.

If you can recall, some days back, Kemi Olunloyo had called out the Titans crest, tagging it the devil's symbol. She also advised the Titans to move to Mercy's side.

One would have thought that the Titans would begin to have a rethink after hearing such statement from an investigative journalist.

Rather than switch to Mercy's side as expected, the Titans stormed Kemi's Twitter handle to blast her for making derogatory comments about their queen. They also slammed her for making comments on every issue just to trend on social media.

Ike replies AngelicTouch Stylist “Loyalty is such a rare quality”

Earlier, we reported that designer, AngelicTouch Stylist called out both Ike and Swanky Jerry for jacking his work. He called out Ike for giving his credit to Swanky because Swanky does free outfit for him.

Well, Ike has replied with a cryptic caption on Instagram. He posted the outfit in contention and tagged SwankyJerry as the designer of the outfit. He wrote; "I feel like loyalty is such a rare quality in this world".

Nigeria's influential stylist, SwankyJerry has been called out on Twitter for posting different outfits on his page, and claiming to have styled them. He also called out Ike for giving his credit to Swanky because Swanky does free outfit for him.

Angelic Touch stylist called out the celebrity designer for stamping his name on jobs which he had no business in. He stated angrily that Jerry is fond of taking credits for his work.

Buttressing his point, he recounted past incidents of how the celebrity designer posted pictures of his own work and took credits for them from innocent Nigerians.

Stressing further, he explained that he once styled an outfit for Timaya's money video and before he could say Jack, Jerrry had already posted it on his IG page claiming to be the stylist. He only deleted the post when Timaya stepped in to blast him.

Currently he has posted pictures of Ike Onyema's outfit and has claimed to be the one who styled it too.

Narrating the issue, Angelic, who is the real stylist of Ike's outfit blasted him for his action and has vowed to take more drastic measures to curtail his senseless act, if he doesn't desist.

He penned a long writing to Ike… Saying he designed the shirt for him for free and Ike gave credit to someone else.

He wrote;

"I tried to be civil with you by sending you a message first to express my displeasure but you overlooked everything I explained and still gave my credit to someone else. You have edited your caption countless times which reflects your lack of integrity and good conscience. I came through for you inspite of the short notice and did everything I could to ensure I got you the best, still you undermined my effort.

I would always demand payment before service but I made an exception for you out of the goodness of my heart and to ensure you had something reputable to wear. You didn't pay me, yet I supplied everything without hesitation. Where was Swanky when I was at your house doing the fitting ?! I curated the whole look from inception, so give respect where it's due. You keep sucking up to Swanky which is disappointing. I understand that he does stuff for you for free but that shouldn't completely destroy your conscience.
Hopefully, you enjoyed your trip and the feeling of being best dressed. I'd need my outfit back by Tuesday, along with my payment . Wish you the best bro 🙏🏾"

It appears the BBNaija drama between Tacha and Mercy is set for another sequel as the controversial reality star has yet again taken a swipe at the winner of the show in a recent video posted online.

Soso Soberekon debunks claims of Davido being arrested in Dubai

Earlier today, a report emerged online that singer Davido was arrested after stabbing one Michael aka Dream Chaser, who is said to be the younger brother of Abu Abel, the CEO of Obimzy Records in Dubai. It was also alleged that Davido missed his scheduled flight due to the incident.

However, Soso Soberekon who was one of the Nigerians that turned up for the One Africa Music Fest in Dubai has debunked claims of Davido getting arrested.

He wrote; "Arrest? Lol davido is on his way to London to support his artist mayorkun"


Also, a quick check on Instagram revealed that Davido shared a new photo of himself taking a flight to the UK in a private jet.

It appears Nigerian singer, Davido, may have gotten into trouble with the authorities in Dubai, following the news fast spreading on the internet about his involvement in a physical altercation with a guy who he reportedly stabbed with a broken bottle thrice.

According to the report, the singer got into an argument with a set of guys at Crab Market, a popular Dubai Restaurant and Lounge in Dubai.

Before anyone could push further, Davido had broken a bottle and stabbed one of the guys.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that Wizkid, Tiwa, and Naira Marley were also at the venue, as they quickly left the venue unnoticed after the Ambulance and Police showed up.

Tonto Dikeh speaks on being arrested & deported from Dubai

Yesterday, reports went viral that actress Tonto Dikeh was allegedly involved in a fight in Dubai and was arrested and deported following the incident.

According to Stella Dimoko Korkus who broke the news, Tonto got involved in a fight with a security personnel who wouldn't let her into an event.

Tonto Dikeh yelled at the security guard and it attracted policemen to the scene. She was thereafter arrested  and Korkus's source wrote that the actress may be deported from the city.

However, Tonto Dikeh in a new video making rounds online debunked the report and bragged that nobody can touch her as 'King Tonto'.

BBNaija duo, Tacha and Sir Dee landed a big sucker punch full on the faces of their social media fans and followers when they posted a picture they took together, locked in warm embrace.

As expected the social media was alight with speculations and questions on whether the two Housemates are up to something, a little beyond being friends. But It appears it was all smoke and no fire as Sir Dee admitted in a private chat with Potpourri that there's nothing romantic between them.

He said, "The ideal is simple -friendship," when asked what was the big idea behind the picture.

"There's nothing romantic whatsoever between us, it was just a show of friendship," he added.

The Housemate laughed his head off when he was queried he wasn't close to Tacha in the Big Brother's and retorted that there is much we don't know.

Border Closure: Nigeria suffers highest inflation rate since May 2018

The closure of some of the Nigerian borders has led to the increase in food prices and subsequently pushed up annual inflation in the country.

The National Bureau of Statistics monthly report released on Monday showed that annual inflation was 11.61% in October, up from 11.24% in September, indicating the highest rate since May 2018.

Consumer inflation also dropped to it lowest in almost four years in August........READ MORE>>>
