The Police in Kogi State have revealed that the burning to death of Salome Abuh, woman leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Wada Aro, Ochadamu Ward in Ofu Local Government Area of the state by suspected thugs of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was a reprisal.This was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, William Aya.Aya said that there was a misunderstanding between Awolu Zekeri, a member of the APC and Gowon Simeon, a member of the PDP, both of Ochadamu ward.According to him, angry youths then mobilised themselves to...........READ MORE>>>

| Burna Boy nominated for Grammy Awards Posted: 21 Nov 2019 12:00 AM PST  On November 20, 2019, nominations for the 62nd Grammy Awards were announced at 2:30 pm.The major award itself will be held on January 26, 2020 and it will be hosted by Alicia Keys. Nominees were led by Lizzo with eight nominations. She is followed by Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X with six nominations.Burna Boy's album, African Giant got nominated in the Best World Album category. | South Africans celebrate as organizers cancel Burna Boy’s concert in the country Posted: 20 Nov 2019 11:30 PM PST  Just days before Burna Boy was set to perform in South Africa, organisers have announced that he has been withdrawn and the concerts in Cape Town and Tshwane cancelled.In a media statement issued today, organisers said that after extensive engagement with Burna Boy's management team, they had decided to withdraw the Nigerian artist from the concert and cancel the shows.They said the decision to cancel the shows came after warnings of a shutdown from a group of artists and event organisers under the umbrella of Tshwane Entertainment Collective."The decision to cancel the Africans Unite Concert comes after the call from the Tshwane Entertainment Collective to boycott the Africans Unite concert in Tshwane. With the increasing threats of violence from other unfortunate segments of the public and without any government intervention, Phambili Media and Play Network Africa were prompted to take the threats and warnings seriously, as the safety of all artists and attendees could not be guaranteed. | #Dubaiprison: Source reports more incriminating details against Tonto Dikeh Posted: 20 Nov 2019 11:00 PM PST  The month of November saw quiet a number of Nigerian celebrities visiting the City of Gold, Dubai, and even peppering their haters with beautiful photos and videos from the city.Various Nigerian celebs visited the city for different reasons including attending the One Africa Fest as well as the Bamteddy wedding.After the arrest was made, there were speculations were made that Tonto was deported from the city. Well, her best friend, Bobrisky posted a video of the actress to dispel the rumours. In the video, Tonto made sure to show that she is still in Dubai.More details about Tonto's detention has emerged after a close source to the actress revealed in an interview with Kemi Ashefon that the mother of one is still in Dubai.According to the source, Bobrisky's post about Tonto is just damage control to make fans think everything is well. The source said: "First, Tonto is not the type to use that kind of video to debunk allegations of detention and deportation. She would have used a more beautiful background wearing gorgeous clothes and displaying affluence. That was a damage control video she shared through Bobrisky. Tonto was looking like a tart! She wasn't wearing make-up and looking like a prisoner in one small room! Anyways, in the video, there was no address about or her arrest. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 may be a year older than the Note10, but it is not far behind – just a couple of days after the new model got the second beta One UI 2, the first Note9 units are joining the program as well.Besides the revamped Samsung UI, this update also brings Android 10 with it.
