Man reveals his friend’s reaction after he refused to loan him money

An unidentified young man has taken to social media to reveal how his friend insulted him because he was not able to lend him the money he asked for.

His friend asked him for a loan via WhatsApp and after after he revealed that he had no spare money to release, the lendee flared up in the most surprising way.

The gentleman took to his page to share a screenshot of their chat and of course, the conversation has left many surprised with a handful of them having a thing or two to say.

The lendee apparently displayed a high level of vulgarity after he was told that his request could not be met due to scarcuty of funds.

It seems the relationship between reality tv star, Mercy Eke and club owner, Cubana Chief Priest is strained at the moment.

The nite-life king who threw his weight around for Mercy and canvassed for votes and support for her, deleted all her photos from his social media and unfollowed her.


The reality star recently appreciated him for making her Moët & Hennessy deal possible. She wrote: "My Newest Family, God Has Done Me Well Beyond My Humble Imaginations, I am So International💵 @cubana_chiefpriest Baddest plug🔌"

Paul Okoye: “I am building three mansions”

Former member of the defunct P-Square music group, Paul Okoye has shared that he is currently building three mansions.

According to him, he's building three mansions, two in one location and the other in another – he says one is in hell, while the remaining two are in heaven.

The "audio money" singer says he's in need of people to supply him cement for the one in hell. He made this known in an Instagram post.

He wrote,
"I'm building 3 brand new mansions, 2 in heaven and 1 in hell, pls who knows anyone who can supply cement in hell? definitely it's Audio season. what a year!"

Celebrity bar man, Cubana Chiefpriest has taken to his Instagram page to announce that his wife @Deangels is richer than all his enemies put together.


Recall that the bar man yesterday, unfollowed BBNaija winner, Mercy Eke and removed all traces of her endorsement deals from his page.

The reason behind his action was earlier revealed, and it pointed out that Mercy failed to heed to their arrangement to stay in Owerri, because she had another event to attend. This provoked the bar man who went ahead to delete her from his page.


Following his action, some Nigerians have been slamming him on Social media, insisting that he had no right to be angry about what happened as Mercy is not obligated to fulfill all his desires.

Some also blasted him for using the reality star to make money for himself and attract more sales for the company he's running. Reacting to this, Cubana stated that his wife alone is richer than all his haters.

Nollywood actress cum Instagram comedian, Etinosa has said a certain stranger she didn't know or ever met recently sent her Range Rover Evoque.

"The craziest thing a fan has done to you, was when a guy I have never met sent me a Range Rover. I'm not good with cars but I think it's Evoque. It's crazy because I didn't even know him, she said.

The Edo State-born role interpreter also spoke about the sex for roles, grades controversy.

"When I was up and coming, I faced a few sex for role situations, but I was never pressured into doing anything, because I was already informed from film school that things like this would happen. No producer has the right to determine your success. So, as an up and coming girl, I was never desperate.

Recall that Frodd traveled all the way down to Onitsha, to commiserate with victims of the ugly market fire incidence, and also see how the affected individuals can be helped.

Well, with his latest course of action, Frodd has proved that extending a hand of help to people in need is not just a one-time endeavor.

The Pepper Dem housemate was recently out on the streets to distribute relief items to less privileged kids under the umbrella of his Feed 500 Kids On The Street outreach.

Ndoma-Egba former Senate leader may vacate the Senate

Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, former Senate leader,  may vacate the Senate following a Court of Appeal sitting in Calabar ruling against him and uphelding the election victory of Sen Sandi Onor, Hon. Mick Etaba and Hon Chirs Agibe.

Three Judges; Hon Justice T. Abubakar, Hon Justice P. O. Elechi and Hon Justice A. A. Wambai, while delivering judgment late on Saturday evening, unanimously upheld the decision of the National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal that sat in Calabar, the Cross River State capital, Ripples Nigeria reports.

It could be recalled that one Dr Sandy Onor had earlier been upheld as the winner of the election by the National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal.

The appeal by Ndoma-Egba sat over by three man appeal panel of the tribunal had delivered judgment on September 4th, 2019, and held that the appeal lacked merit.

The court had upheld the election victory of Mr Mike Etaba representing Obubra Etung Federal Constituency (PDP) against Mr Egbe Jabengo, candidate of the All Progressives Congress.

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the November 16 Governorship election in Kogi State, Mr Musa Wada, where welcomed by a mammoth crowd as they welcome him, as his campaign trains landed in Igala land over the weekend.

Wada and his train visited all nine local government areas that make up the Eastern senatorial district (Ankpa, Olamaboro, Dekina, Bassa, Idah, Ibaji, Ofu, Omala and Igala – Mela) and was received with great fun fare.

Speaking at his rally stops, Wada bemoaned the deplorable state of the roads in the state, observing that in spite of the monthly allocations and bailout funds received by the current state government, not a single lane of road has been constructed.

Wada said the APC-led state administration has succeeded in inflicting more hardships to the citizens through deliberate plans to cow the people to submission by non payment of civil servant salaries.

He urged voters not to allow themselves to be deceived again, asking them to vote for the PDP in the upcoming election.

Wada promised to review the screening exercise of workers conducted by the government and that of the pensioners and local government workers with a view to ensure justice, saying that pensioners ere not supposed to be afflicted with suffering at old age.

He described the screening exercise as lacking a human face, saying that it had led to the untimely death of many civil servants, pensioners and their relations.

"The endless screening exercise will be reviewed as many workers and pensioners were deliberately screeend out at all levels," the statement signed by Mr Austin Okahi, a member of the media committee of the organisation, said.............READ FURTHER HERE>>>

Buhari reportedly approves January 31, 2020 to reopen borders

A report by Daily Sun says Nigeria's borders will now be reopened on January 31, 2020 following an approval on the date by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The report noted that the information was disclosed through a circular in which an extension of the policy was stated to last till the approved date.

It was learnt that the circular (NCS/ENF/ABJ/221/S.45) dated November 1, 2019, was issued by the comptroller of customs in charge of enforcement, Victor David Dimka.

The circular, which was issued to the sector coordinators, joint border operations drill, asked that the officers must comply with the new date.

The circular reads:

I am directed to inform you that it is observed that despite the overwhelming success of the operation, particularly the security and economic benefits to the nation, a few strategic objectives are you to be achieved............ READ FURTHER HERE>>>

Cindy to sue boutique owner for defamation of character

Ex-BBNaija housemate and reality star, Cindy Okafor has vowed to sue the boutique owner who called her out and accused her of posing in a free dress without giving credit.

Cindy had earlier posted a picture of herself in a fine dress on her instagram page. A boutique owner called her out on the comment section, and accused her of taking pictures in a free dress without giving due credit to the giver on her page.

The boutique owner revealed that it was part of their agreement. She had given Cindy the dress free of charge, so that Cindy would in return give Credit to her on her Instagram page whenever she posts a picture wearing the dress.

Othe vendors also came out to reveal that Cindy actually did the same thing to them. Reacting to the claims levelled against her, Cindy has vowed to sue them if they continue.

She also mentioned that she had always heard about people using celebrities to clout chase, but she never knew it would happen to her so soon.

EFCC arraigns ‘606Autos’ Boss, Babafemi for N207.1m Money laundering

EFCC officers on Friday arraigned an automobile dealer, Sarumi Babafemi, alias 606 for laundering a total of N207m between 2013 and 2018.

Babafemi alongside his companies – 606 Autos Limited; 606 Music Limited; and Splash Off Entertainment Limited – was arraigned on five counts before the Federal High Court in Lagos.

He was accused of transferring N37.6m to one Omojadesola Allison; N93m to one Olanrewaju Oriyomi; N1.5m to one Abiola Ayorinde, alias ABK; N25m to one Bartholomew Ezeudoka; and N50m to one Amobi Uchenna.

The EFCC said 6O6 "ought to have reasonably known that such funds form part of an unlawful act, to wit: obtaining money by false pretence".

Prosecuting counsel for the EFCC, Mr A.B.C. Ozioko, said 606 and his companies acted contrary to Section 15(2)(b) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act 2011 (as amended) and were liable to be punished under Section 15(3) of the same Act.

But 606 and his companies pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to them.

The defence counsel, Dr Muiz Banire (SAN), told Justice Chukwujeku Aneke that he had filed an application for his client's bail and had served it on the prosecution.

Banire, who said the offence was bailable, urged the court to grant bail to his client in liberal terms. But the prosecutor, Ozioko, urged Justice Aneke to decline the bail application based on the defendant's antecedents.

Ozioko said the charges against 606 were informed by intelligence from the American Federal Bureau of Intelligence. He told the judge that there was another charge against 606 pending before another court.

Justice Aneke adjourned till November 4, 2019 to rule on the bail application. He ordered that 606 be remanded in the prison custody until then.

Boutique owner reacts after Cindy vowed to sue her for defamation of character

Boutique owner and designer @Beunique has promised to lead an army of angry vendors to court if Cindy proceeds to sue her for defamation of character.

The designer maintained that she is not frightened by Cindy's threats as she has evidence and backup to support her claims about the reality star.

She also stated that she's ready to pull forces with all the affected vendors so that they will all fight the case till the end of it.

She wrote;

"I never begged you to go with any of my stuff, it was an agreement so please stop lying everything happened in my bedroom and other people were there. Now you're lying and threatening to go to court with all my free stuff you collected. You have me and other vendors to face in court. Beunique is ready".

Comedian and actor, Kevin Hart has broken silence over the accident he was involved in back in July.

Kevin Hart and his friend were driving in the Plymouth Barracuda he got for himself in celebration of his 40th birthday.

Both men suffered terrible back injuries which had the comedian hospitalized for days at Northridge Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles.

In an Instagram video Kavin Hart shared, he revealed that the accident opened his eyes against living the fast life.

Hart wrote: "Basically, what you realize is that you're' not in control. No matter how much you think you're' in control, you're not in control and at the end of the day, it can all be over.

"When God talks, you gotta listen. I swear life is funny because some of the craziest things that happen to you end up being the thing that you needed most.

"In this case, I honestly feel like God basically told me to sit down. When you're moving too fast and you are doing too much sometimes, you can't see the things you're meant to see.

"But after my accident, I see things differently. I see life from a whole new perspective. My appreciation for life is through the roof. I'm thankful for my family, my friends. I'm thankful for the people that simply ride with me and have been with me 'cause you stood by me.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey announces Ban of Political Ads on its Platform

Twitter is getting set to ban all political advertising worldwide.

The announcement which was made by the CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey via his official twitter page, he stated that the reach of such messages "should be earned, not bought".

"While internet advertising is incredibly powerful and very effective for commercial advertisers, that power brings significant risks to politics", Jack Dorsey tweeted.

Twitter's ban will be enforced from 22 November, with full details released by 15 November.
