Actress Abena Ghana: ‘My biggest regret in life is engaging in lesbianism’

Kumawood actress, Abena Ghana has recounted how she regretted getting herself involved with women sexually.

Speaking in a recent interview with Zion Felix on the 'Uncut Show', Abena Ghana said her involvement in the act was a huge mistake as she got involved in the act as a child.

Abena Ghana who is a mother of one strongly believes God wanted to teach her some lessons and that was the reason why He allowed her to toe that line.

However, remorseful Abena Ghana pleaded with people to stop judging her with her past because she's not proud of it and she is a changed person now.

She added that only God can judge her and she always prays to him for forgiveness.

Abena who was hopeful that God had great plans for her bemoaned that " A lot of great men had terrible pasts but God still used them to get to where they are now. I am no exception. I know God has great plans for me".

Popular music star David Adeleke aka Davido, has become the first Nigerian artiste to visit Hollywood legend Tyler Perry's expensive movie studio.

The excited music star shared photos and videos from his visit in the Instastory channel of his social media page.

Although, Davido held back on giving full details about what he is up to in the studio, it appears whatever the project is, it would not be released until 2020.

The Blow My Mind crooner's post also indicated that it is going to be a visual project and may also be connected to his forthcoming body of work titled A Good Life.

Nollywood actor Blossom Chukwujekwu celebrated his birthday yesterday and his estranged wife Maureen Esisi penned down a birthday message to him.

24 hours after the message was sent out, it appears that her estranged husband is yet to acknowledged it which is deviation from their known PDA.


A quick check on Instagram also revealed that Blossom Chukwujekwu acknowleged birthday messages from his colleagues and loved ones, but not that of Maureen who he also failed to celebrate on her 32nd birthday on September 11.




This follows up speculation of the couple's marriage hitting the rocks even though Maureen still wears her wedding ring.

The cute little miss was spotted looking convincing as she wore a black top and trouser with a neon stripe. Nadia also carried a red helmet as she stood beside a red fire extinguisher, to fully get into the fire woman vibe.

Despite wearing the fire department uniform, Nadia's face did not break out in even a little smile and it is quite obvious that she means business.

Cardi B Set to Visit Nigeria for the First Time

American rapper Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar popularly known as Cardi B is set to perform in Nigeria, as she will be visiting Africa for the first time this December.

Cardi B is expected to make her first visit to West Africa at the Livespot X Festival in Lagos on December 7 and will proceed to Accra, Ghana on 8.

The show is expected to hold in Victoria Island and will see the ace rapper team up with some Nigerian stars on stage.


List of Nigerian stars that will perform with Cardi B has however not been disclosed, as the organisers say it would be revealed in the coming weeks.

The organisers also say the event will feature live performances, great lighting, illusionists, top DJs, food, drinks, and festivities.

The 'Bodak Yellow' crooner's trip to Lagos and Ghana is an indication of her ambitions to conquer the world and cement her status as a global star.

Refrigerated truck carrying 41 migrants in Greece intercepted, all occupants alive

A refrigerated truck intercepted by the Police with forty-one migrants in northern Greece on Monday, Police authorities discloses, and the driver has been arrested as he helps the Police in thier investigation.

The migrants, whom many were said to be of Afghan origin, were mostly in good shape, but about seven of them received first aid in hospital, the police added.

A tour of Lagos State environs in September through October reveals that from Mosalalashi roundabout in Iyana-Ipaja to Pen-Cinema, Ogba road in Agege, Lugard Avenue in Ikoyi to Ahmadu Bello Way in Victoria Island, Aguda in Surulere to Oba Akran Road in Ikeja, NNPC intercession in Ejigbo to inner roads in Isolo and Mafoluku, and from Oladipo Bateye Street, in Ikeja GRA to Anthony Village and Mende, the streets in these areas are virtually in bad shapes; filled with potholes and craters.

However, the amiable Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, following a statewide inspection spanning days, declared a state of emergency on Lagos roads about two weeks ago.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome through The Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI) has offered free basic education to 400 vulnerable children from conflict-ridden communities in Adamawa State.

The foundation also built a multi-million Naira school and health care facilities to offer free education and healthcare delivery to vulnerable children and communities affected by conflicts in the state.

Makonto noted that the location where the school and health centre was built in Demsa Local Government Area (LGA) "is the area mostly affected by farmers-herdsmen conflict, which destroyed more than 10,000 lives and properties worth millions of Naira.

The Chairperson of the Association of Widows, Adamawa Chapter, Mrs. Hilda Makonto disclosed this at an interactive session with journalists in Yola, the Adamawa capital saturday.

Makonto said she witnessed the inauguration of the facilities penultimate Thursday, adding that the facilities would be beneficial to children of indigent parents who were either affected by Boko Haram insurgency or farmers-herdsmen conflict.


"Many of us lost our husbands to insurgency and farmers-herdsmen conflict and some children lost both parents living with no one to care for them. But we thank God for sending the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation to care for them."

"This gesture is divinely oriented because God had heard their lingering cries for help such as this for indigent children to go to a world class schools like this one so as to bridge gap between children of the poor and rich in the country," she said.

She said the widows "are concerned because their children are major benefactors. We thank Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Found of COFI for giving children of indigent and vulnerable groups the opportunity to have good education and free medical care at no cost.

A Nigerian lady has taken to her social media page to narrate how she almost swallowed a wall-gecko as she was having a drink.

The lady said she was drinking a locally made drink popularly called 'ZOBO' till the point she saw the house lizard in the bottle.


According to @Ibidunnonso, she bought a locally made drink popularly referred to as 'Zobo' and was seriously enjoying her drink until she took the last drop of it and saw a wall gecko at the bottom of the bottle.

A young man identified as Stephen has taken to Twitter to share his joy after he survived a ghastly accident that was capable of claiming his life.

Sharing photos of the badly damaged car on Twitter, Stephen revealed that he just came out of the car and that he is thankful to God for sparing his life.



He also noted that he had no broken bones although the accident looked really fatal. He was dragged out of the car by good samaritans and It was only his phone that got broken.

Nigerians have taken to his Twitter page to join him in thanking God for sparing his life. Some have also advised him to go to a hospital for proper check-up as there could be internal injuries. We're not praying for that anyway.

Yul Edochie - “Spending so much money on burials is a total waste to me”

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie had aired his thoughts on how to spend money on burials. The handsome actor stated that it is not wise to spend too much money on burials.

Justifying his stand, the actor noted that Nigerians should learn to celebrate someone while the person is still alive, not to save the money and at the end lavish it on burial.

He also revealed that a friend had asked him for a loan of some millions of naira to bury his father, and that he was speechless.

Stressing further, he mentioned that some family members will not assist you when you need financial help, but when you die, they will gather all dignitaries, contribute N20m to show off during the burial.

Burna Boy wins “Best African Act” award at 2019 MTV EMA Awards Night (full winners list)

Burna Boy has won the Best African Act category at the 2019 MTV EMAs awards in Seville, Spain, the second international award he clinched this year.

He also won the Best International Act award at the 2019 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards.

For the MTV award, the African Giant Burna Boy beat Nigerian Teni, Prince Kaybee (South Africa), TooFan (Togo), Nasty C (South Africa) and Harmonize (Tanzania) in the award annaounced Sunday night at the FIBES Conference & Exhibition Centre.



Burna Boy did not attend the presentation as he was holding a concert at SSE Arena in Wembley, London.

With Burna Boy winning the award, Nigerian musicians have now clinched it the fourth time in a row. Wizkid won it in 2016, Davido 2017, Tiwa Savage in 2018.

There were other winners at the Seville show.

Taylor Swift won Best US Act and Best Video, while Nicki Minaj won Best HipHop. Shawn Mendes won Best Artist.

Delectable singer, Doyinsola who recently welcomed her first child with her husband Mr Akinola in the United States after 6 years of marriage, has recounted the challenges she encountered.

Doyinsola revealed that she suffered miscarriages over three times and had to go in for different tests, surgeries and also took so much drugs.

She wrote;
"Meet the Akinola's. My Beautiful Family of 3.
Fun fact: Being married for 6years long before my music career started off professionally. Just didn't feel the need to play the married woman card. Don't ask me why, we just wanted to keep it that way ??This young man came along and I can't but share my joy with you.


My Testimony: I love babies so much and people around can attest to that. I wanted to have my own babies like normal couples do. Fortunately for us, without even trying I got pregnant with my first a month after my wedding and trust me I was super excited and looking forward to having the baby.

Life happened and it ended in a miscarriage. Battled recurrent miscarriages ever since then, not once, not twice, not thrice?? Took different tests, surgeries, lots of drugs" I hate swallowing pills but it soon became my best friend ", tried different hospitals and results always come back good. Hence the confusion and anxiety.

At this point we decided to seek other means of parenting method precisely IVF. After making some payments we were supposed to go back for some tests to get started but in the process of waiting. I got pregnant again and this time I carried my pregnancy to full term with a healthy and most beautiful human have ever seen to show for it.

Lesson:
Trust God's process cos his timing is best for us. Forget all the packaging,I became really closer to my God and put all my trust in Him.
People will come up with advises of all kinds. Make up your mind, it's either God or nothing.
Be nice to everyone around you cos you don't have an idea of what battle they are fighting.
Prophecy positive things into your life always. Tell God what you want.

Do not give in to fear atall.
Stop asking irrelevant and sensitive questions like why are you not pregnant? If you care so much, mention them to God in your prayers.
You might want to bury yourself with work when you're down. I do that a lot and it helps. Get busy like really busy.

Be happy for people not jealous, so that your day of joy too can come.

Marry your best friend, you might not appreciate it until you're faced with challenges.

Thelma speaks on life after the reality show and her dreams of being on Jenifa’s Diary

Big Brother Naija Season 4 housemate, Thelma, spoke to LITV about life outside the Big Brother house, what it's been like, and how she's making the most of her new-found fame.

Speaking to LITV's On Air host, Dami Dawson, Thelma said people now recognize her when she's seen in public, something she couldn't boast of before she went for the reality show. She added that she's grateful for the platform the show gave her.


"Life is smooth outside the house," she said.

Thelma mentioned that she was supposed to audition for Big Brother season 2 in 2017 but she lost her brother during that period, so she had to shelve that dream. However, she said she was convinced that she will "make it" if she auditions.

She said: "Something in me kept on telling me that I'll make it, so I said, 'fine, let me just give it a trial."


She considered trying again in 2018 but her attention was divided because she was a student of Imo State University, studying "Medical Lab Science".

She ended up trying in 2019 and made it into the house.

Speaking of her excitement at being informed that she will be one of the housemates for the Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem edition, Thelma said she couldn't sleep the night she was informed that she had been chosen as a housemate.

"It's an awesome experience that everybody will really want to have. Seriously," she said.

Speaking of her dreams and goals, Thelma said the even before she went to the Big Brother house, she always wanted to act in a movie. She said she got two roles but because of her schedule and schoolwork, she let it go. However, she adds that acting remains her passion and it will be a "dream come true" if she gets an acting role.


When asked why she chose to study Medical Lab Science and not Theatre Art since that's her passion, Thelma said: "I already got admission in Imo State University and the course Medical Lab Science. But even in my class, my coursemates, they'll be like,'Thelma, this is a wrong department for you. You're supposed to be in Art.' And different people, they kept on saying it, because of the way I relate to people. Like, anywhere I am, people get to notice me. Like, I love everything comic. I think I have such things in me already. Even without much talk, I display lots of things.

"They'll be like, 'Thelma, this department is not for you.' Sometimes, they'll even be like, "Thelma, are you sure you're the one that filled your JAMB form?'

"So, that acting of a thing, I don't mind o. I can still keep my certificate somewhere but you see that acting, it's something I really have passion for and I'm really really longing for it."

When asked which filmmaker she'll love to work with, she said: "You see Funke Akindele? Jenifa's Diary? you see that series? I don't miss it.

"Jenifa's Diary, that's number one, and then any other one. Like, I love comic reliefs: Jenifas Diary, (My) Flatmates, The Johnsons… These are the series I really want. Series, especially. I love them."

She also spoke about considering being in a beauty pageant. She said all through her five years in University, people kept encouraging her to consider it and she "only gave it a trial once" but she "didn't really see it as something I wanted to do."

"Pageantry, right from time, is not something I really want to go into. This acting of a thing is what I want."

A video of Ike teaching his heartrob, Mercy Eke how to pronounce words with a British accent has surfaced the internet, and as expected, 'Merceneries' are already blushing over their favourite lovebirds.

The lovely video captured the winner of BBNaija 'pepper Dem' season, Mercy Eke paying full attention to her boo and initiating the way he pronounces different words.

Ike on the other hand was also trying so hard to make his lover get the right pronunciation. The love birds are gradually becoming a serious internet sensation as they keep endearing the hearts of Nigerians to themselves, through their open display of affection.

Tonto Dikeh's estranged husband, Olakunle Churchill recently visited a baby named after him and gifted him with N1,000,000. The baby was named "Churchill Nwankwo".

Little Churchill's mother, Mrs Esther Nwankwo and his grand mother were both on ground to welcome the philanthropist, as he gifted them N1million after carrying the child.

Olakunle Churchill is truly putting efforts in his humanitarian work for the society. As chairman of Big Church Haven Limited and BIG Church Entertainment, which he launched in 2007, many can testify that he has done more of such charity works of recent.

Churchill is also involved in youth empowerment programmes and giving back to the society. He was once praised for visiting the IDP camps in Borno with relief materials.
