It is a period of double celebration for popular Yoruba movie actress Aisha Lawal, who is currently celebrating her daughter's 1st birthday and her own day which she says is her rebirth.

The screen diva penned a lengthy note on her verified Instagram page, in which she detailed the health challenges she had to go through, as she prepared to welcome her child.


According to her, the severity of her pregnancy complications was so serious that she thought she was not going to make it.

"48 hours in ICU (All ds while my mind kept telling me I was not gonna make it) stitches got healed finally exactly 1 month after childbirth .So tell me why I won't be grateful," her post read in part.

The movie star rounded up her post by noting that the good lord gave herself and her daughter a second chance at life.

Lawal called on her well-wishers to continue praying for her family because that has been the only thing that has kept them going. She also appreciated her pregnant friends who stood with her during the trying period.

Top music artiste, Tiwa Savage has threatened to sue The Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (C0ZA) and Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo for using her image to advertise an upcoming church programme without her consent.

Tiwa savage's threat is coming a few hours after a doctored video was shared on the Instagram and Twitter page of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, which portrayed her advertising an event tagged 'Twelve Days Of Glory'.

While giving her account, Tiwa said she was fraudulently approached by the church to testify to the glory of God, only for her to find out the video has been edited to advertise the church program.

She wrote;
"It has been brought to my attention that there is a viral video which includes me advertising an upcoming COZA event. I want to state that I have nothing to do with the church and certainly do not endorse their events.

I'm extremely disappointed that I was fraudulently approached to simply comment on how good God has been to me and it has been wrongly edited to use my image to create an advert to deceived people. COZA this is wrong!! I will be taking action if this not immediately retracted."

Twitter user shares video of COZA using Wizkid and Tiwa Savage to promote their event

A Twitter user identified @kaybest_ has taken to the platform to share a viral promotional video of COZA's advert with Tiwa Savage and Wizkid.

Recall that Tiwa Savage and Wizkid accused the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) of fraudulently manipulating the video to promote their event.

Tiwa Savage issued a disclaimer stating that she has nothing to do with COZA church while Wizkid stated that he does not endorse any church while also cursing fake pastors.


A Twitter user has now corroborated their disclaimer, saying he knew Davido was not lying from the start.

"This is the video where COZA used Wizkid and Tiwa Savage to fraudulently promote their event. I just knew Davido was not lying from the start."

Davido and Chioma’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke Jnr officially becomes US citizen

Davido's third child, David Ifeanyi Adeleke Jnr is now officially an American citizen. The singer shared a picture of Chioma and their bundle of joy in what looks like the office of the American embassy to receive their papers.

The proud father could not hold back his joy in announcing the feat on Thursday via Instastory.

"Officially an Aerican cmitizen," he wrote.

A concerned fan of Olamide has taken to social media to pen down a lengthy note about the singer's musical career. The concerned fan stated that Olamide has failed as an artiste and his musical career will end this year.

Looking at the recent trend of things in the music industry, it looks like Olamide Adedeji popularly called Olamide Badoo is no more bad again as an artiste. Most especially in 2019 that is about to come to an end, it feels like his career is going to end with the year.
Olamide Badoo is an amazing artiste no doubt, he has done so well for himself as an artiste, as a businessman in music, has helped several people but it looks all that is about to become a history judging by the recent happenings, maybe it's just that his season as an a-list artiste has ended.

Olamide came into the industry with a track titled 'Eni Duro', this track shook the music industry and he almost immediately rose to become one of the most sought after musician in Nigeria. He immediately continued with 'Omo To Shan' featuring Wizkid, both were everyone's favourite at this time and this contributed to the success of the song. Olamide later got the name Young Erikina, he released songs and he became a household name in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

Olamide, since then , has released hit songs back to back, has done several shows which were sold out, raised the likes of Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, Chinko Ekun, YBNL Princess, Lyta, Picazzo Rap, Yomi Blaze, Fireboy DML to mention a few, even after having so many artistes to look after, Olamide still got time to release hit songs.

However, 2019 has not been a good year for the artiste, although traces of this were seen in 2018 but they weren't so obvious as 2019. Olamide used to compete with the likes of Davido, Wizkid, other top artistes but now, an artiste that just came up yesterday is being talked about and listened to than Olamide Badoo.

In 2019, One can count the amount of songs Olamide released, unlike past years when Olamide released Albums almost every years, he didn't release any this year, he only released singles that almost didn't pass the roof of the studio where they were recorded.

It's not enough to do music, one need to have a concrete plan to enable him or her enjoy longevity in the music industry because so many artiste come up every day and there is need for one to be strategic to ensure relevance for a long time.

Olamide has enjoyed fame on merit ever since but has done little to enjoy longevity. As much as people wants to dance, people get tired sometimes and wants to listen to something that has great meaning. Taking a look at 2face, Banky W, these people can't release a song today without people getting to know it, they are legends already, their sound is unique and they have a very good line of lyrics but Olamide released some tracks which include Woske and Pawon this year and it was just short of expectation for some people.

The vulgar languages, even on his instagram page, some people had to unfollow him due to the content he was posting to promote the songs, he began posting ladies dancing naked, shaking their butt and his page was almost looking like a porn site. People believe things like this should occur with an upcoming artiste who is looking for attention not someone who has gotten the attention already.

Olamide didn't win any notable award this year, he didn't make any notable achievement this year and next year isn't looking like a glorious one for him, looking at this, Olamide might never recover from the death of his career, however, I wish him well.

Wale Adetona – ‘Davido Consciously Did Promotional Video For COZA, Backlashes Made Him Deny It’

Popular PR consultant, Wale Adetona, has reacted to the viral video of Davido allegedly advertising a program for Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA.

Recall that Davido issued a disclaimer dissociating himself from the church. The singer also stated that he didn't endorsed the promotional video.

However, Wale Adetona thinks that Davido consciously did the promotional video for COZA and his disclaimer afterwards was because of the backlash he received from some Nigerians.

He wrote:

"There is no way Davido would make me believe he didn't do that video consciously as a promotional video for COZA. And nobody would killl him anyways. The disclaimer is just an after thought because of the backlash. Before you argue, watch the video again and come back to comment."

Broda Shaggi has taken to Instagram to pen down a birthday message to celebrate rapper Zlatan Ibile whom he said had an impact in his life.

While sharing a throwback photo on his Instagram page, the comedian narrated how he achieved fame barely a week after meeting Zlatan for the first time.

The 'pontifical secret' rule used in clergy sex abuse cases, scraped by Pope Francis

The "pontifical secret" used in clergy sexual abuse cases, has been abolished by Pope Francis, after mounting criticism that the high degree of confidentiality has been used to protect pedophiles, silence victims and keep law enforcement from investigating related crimes.

According to the Telegraph UK report, Pope Francis in a new document, decreed that information in abuse cases must be protected by church leaders to ensure its "security, integrity and confidentiality."

But he said "pontifical secret" no longer applies to abuse-related accusations, trials and decisions under the Catholic Church's canon law.

Francis also raised from 14 to 18 the cutoff age below which the Vatican considers pornographic images to be child pornography.

The new laws were issued Tuesday, Francis' 83rd birthday, as he struggles to respond to the global explosion of the abuse scandal, his own missteps and demands for greater transparency and accountability from victims, law enforcement and ordinary Catholics alike.

The new norms are the latest amendment to the Catholic Church's in-house canon law - a parallel legal code that metes out ecclesial justice for crimes against the faith.

In this legal system, the worst punishment a priest can incur is being defrocked, or dismissed from the clerical state.

Pope Benedict XVI had decreed in 2001 that these cases must be dealt with under "pontifical secret," the highest form of secrecy in the church.

The Vatican had long insisted that such confidentiality was necessary to protect the privacy of the victim, the reputation of the accused and the integrity of the canonical process.

However, such secrecy also served to keep the scandal hidden, prevent law enforcement from accessing documents and silence victims, many of whom often believed that "pontifical secret" prevented them from going to the police to report their priestly abusers.....READ MORE>>>

The 'for your case' crooner who is unarguably one of the hottest musical artist in Nigeria right now, asked the young man, identified as Wahab to climb on to the stage, while performing at the Ovation Carol night, held in Lagos on Sunday.

In a video which is currently circulating on social media, the 'Billionaire' singer could be spotted, bringing the gentleman's cheek closer to her lips, and giving it a warm kiss.
The male fan who seemed really shy however, did not return the gesture. He just let out a small grin and made his way out of the stage.

Ex BBNaija housemate, Uriel Ngozi Oputa, has taken to her Instagram account to announce that she has become a British citizen.

In an Instagram post , she said that because of a clause in the law she could not become the citizen of the country even though she was born there.

She said that though the citizenship process was very tough, she was able to weather it through and pass the exams.

"Although I was born here I was never entitled because my mother is Nigerian , one yeye law they passed bk then," she said.

The 2017 BBNaija star also said she was very grateful her mum never abandoned them back in Nigeria when their dad died but rather chose to fight through life in a foreign country.

The European Union has been depicting as the Nazi death camp of Auschwitz and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson as an escaping prisoner, by a cartoonist in Rome and this has sparked a heated controversy in Italy and abroad.

Artist Mario Improta posted the cartoon on his Twitter account Saturday, after Johnson's Conservatives won a majority in the U.K. election. Johnson ran on a platform of "get Brexit done," vowing to take Britain out of the European Union by the scheduled deadline of Jan. 31, Associated Press reports.

The cartoon features Johnson waving a British flag as he flees a concentration camp with the inscription "European Union" in the same position as the words "Arbeit macht frei" ("Work sets you free") are at the entrance of the Nazi camp.

The comparison between the EU and a concentration camp immediately prompted a wave of criticism from politicians, Rome's Jewish community and even some of the artist's followers on Twitter.

The Auschwitz Memorial tweeted in Italian, noting that "'Arbeit macht frei' was a cynical illusion that the SS gave to prisoners of Auschwitz. Those words have become one of the icons of human hatred. It is painful for the memory of Auschwitz and its victims to see this symbol used and shamefully abused."

The artist has become well-known in Italy as the author of an educational campaign for Rome featuring Mayor Virginia Raggi as a Manga hero. Raggi distanced herself from the cartoon and halted the collaboration with Improta.


After the widespread criticism, Improta on Monday modified the cartoon, replacing the image of the Nazi camp with a toilet and saying it wasn't correct to "identify the EU with a concentration camp."

Teni and Wizkid have been teasing fans that they are in a romantic relationship and he proved his loyalty by attending her live in concert.

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has shared a video where pellets from the bullets wounds she sustained during an alleged assassin attack were being removed.

While sharing the video on her IG page, the actress praised God for helping her to narrowly escape death.

Sharing photos with her husband and the doctor's scan, Mercy wrote;

"We're having a baby ❤️❤️ I've always wanted 4 kids…. always. However, after 3 kids, I thought I had retired from the baby making business. So a while back, we found out we had a baby on the way.

I can't explain the joy and peace expecting our new baby has brought, or the cravings for food that have followed. I get so emotional easily, in fact right now I've started crying from joy again.

Actress Daniella Okeke buys new house in Lekki

Nollywood big girl and business woman, Daniella Okeke has acquired a mansion in Lekki Peninsula.

The actress took to her online page to flaunt her new acquisition and gave glory to "God" for providing such a mansion for her in a very "miraculous" way.

Sharing the house and its compound on her Instastories, the actress wrote that this year wasn't a bad one at all, and thanked God for her win.

Daniella Okeke wasn't really a known face in the movie industry until the Apostle Johnson Suleman – Stephanie Otobo alleged sex scandal broke out. Ms Okeke's name came up and people started asking "who is this Daniella Okeke?"


Prior to the scandal, few who knew about the actress had questioned the source of her luxurious lifestyle – mansions, flashy cars, trips abroad and all that because she is not even a C-list actress not to talk of being an A-lister. When the scandal broke out, they seemed not surprised.

The beautiful Daniella Okeke didn't send anybody. She was able to recover from the scandal that was linked to her. She denied everything.

Now she has added another house to her other houses after working hard through out the year and is grateful to God for making it happen.

Naira Marley – ‘I charged Access Bank ₦20 million per show, three different times this week’

Naira Marley, the singer with the smash single "I'm I a Yahoo Boy'" has revealed that he collected N60million from Access Bank this week.

This was after he was questioned to reveal the amount he makes perfect show. In response the singer stated that he got paid N20million three consecutive times this week by Access Bank for shows.

Naira Marley also reacted to the news that his arrest has been ordered by a Chief Magistrate Court in connection to car theft.

Naira Marley and two of his brothers: Idris Fashola and Babatunde Fashola; alongside Kunle Obere are accused of stealing a Toyota Camry vehicle with Registration No. FEE 120 AA valued at N1.8 million and an IPhone XS worth N330,000 belonging to one Mr Adelekan Ademola.

According to prosecutor, ASP Edet Okoi, the offenses were committed on December 16, at Eko Hotel Roundabout on Victoria Island, Lagos. Read More HERE

Reacting to the news, Naira Marley took to Twitter to reveal he's above the level of stealing a car.

"Car theft?? maybe I need to post my bentley, Porsche or benzo. If u lot like try stain my name from today till tomorrow I will still be the next president and who's adeyemi fashola aka Naira Marley. Another free promo I'm guessing".
