Fans line up in front of Davido’s house as the singer gifts them with money

A video which recently surfaced online has shown the moment Nigerian singer, Davido distributed cash gift to some of his fans in front of his home in Lekki.

In the video, the singer stood at the balcony of his mansion, taking fresh air, while overlooking the mammoth crowd gathered downstairs, waiting for him to attend to them.

The DMW boss eventually sent down his crew members to distribute the money to the crowd.

Recall that the Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer, Davido deposited the sum of $100K (N36m) to purchase customised jewelry for Zlatan Ibile, Skibii and seven other members of his 30BG (30billion gang).

Rapper Tic Tac and Tony Tetuila file N30m lawsuit against Wizkid over copyright infringement

Ace Singer, Wizkid is currently being dragged to court by Tony Tetuila and Ghanaian musician Tic Tac, over copyright infringement.

Filing the lawsuit, the artistes have also demanded N$82,000 as compensation.

According to the plaintiffs, Wizkid had sampled their song 'Fefe Ne Efe' released in 2004, but failed to pay for it.


In an interview on Hitz FM's Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, Tic said Wizkid sampled the chorus of 'Fefe Ne Efe' for his verse on DJ Tunez's song titled 'Gbese'.


In a writ addressed to the defendant, Tic and Tony Tetuila are seeking damages to the tune of N30,000,000 equivalent to GH?473,379.29 ($82,758.62).

They are also seeking 35% of both digital sales and royalties DJ Tunez and Wizkid received from the song.

Twitter users react as Dr Joe Abah says “COZA is not a church, It’s an assembly”

Dr Joe Abah has said COZA is not a church and he went on to explain what he thinks the religious community is.

Abah, who was the Head of the Bureau for Public Sector Reform from 2013 to 2017, tweeted this following the outcry on Twitter resulting from a video where Davido was seen promoting a COZA program.

Davido responded, revealing he had been hoodwinked and didn't know what the video was for. Afterwards, the woman who got Davido to do the video admitted that Davido had no idea it was to promote a COZA program.

As Twitter users kept debating the latest issue involving COZA, Dr Joe Abah tweeted:


"COZA stands for Commonwealth of Zion Assembly. It's an assembly, not a church. There's a difference between the two."

Controversial OAP, Daddy Freeze has reacted to the impeachment of US president, Donald Trump by the house of representatives.

The 45th President of the United States was impeached over allegations of obstruction of Congress and collusion with foreign countries to spy on the US citizens, thereby becoming the third US president to be impeached in office.


Reacting to the impeachment, the OAP pointed out that a working president has been impeached, while a non-functional president continue without check (a purported swipe at President Buhari).

Nollywood actor, IK Ogbonna, has vehemently rejected a 'toto-rial class' from a female fan on social media.

It all started after the make-believe merchant shared a video of Burna Boy along with some guys dancing and he said he desperately wants to learn the dance step as rendered by the guys adding that he is ready to pay if need be.

A female follower of the actor while reacting to the actor's post then asked him to come forward for a tutorial which was misspelt as toto-rial.

The actor then replied swiftly that he does not want toto-rial clarifying that he wants only a dance practice.

Daddy Freeze reacts to video of pastor that stopped man from proposing to his daughter

Controversial OAP and leader of the online free-the-sheeple movement, Daddy Freeze has reacted to the viral video of a Pastor that stopped a man from proposing to his daughter.

Recall that the news of a pastor caused drama on social media after he denied a man the opportunity to propose to his lover inside a church.

The Pastor who was officiating a wedding ceremony immediately stopped the man from proposing to his daughter, stating clearly that he was not aware of the relationship.
Reacting to the incident, Daddy Freeze condemned public proposal. According to his remark, proposing to a girl in public is the greatest hogwash of this decade.

He wrote;

The innocent pose between the two men has elicited a response from a social media user who warned the politician to be wary of Wizkid and not allow him get close to his wife.

Nollywood actor cum politician has taken to his Twitter account to show support to Angela Okorie after she was allegedly attacked by gunmen.

Recall that the actress while sharing her testimony stated that she survived 30 bullets of which 10 of them were pulled from her head.

However, some Nigerians stated that the actress staged her attacked although she has shared photos and video to show she was attacked by gunmen.

American based-Nigerian singer, Speed Darlington has vowed to deal with any military man that would try to tackle him for wearing a camouflaged outfit.

Speed Darlington has not hesitated to express his disappointment in the state of the country since his arrival for his bestie's concert today.

Shortly after lamenting over the horrible state of the escalators ion the Lagos International Airport hotel, the singer has moved on to the Nigerian army officers.
In a video that has gone viral, Speedy was asked not to wear a camouflaged outfit as the army officers could humiliate him for doing so.

Davido reacts after being slammed for doing an advert for COZA church

Nigerian Singer, Davido has reacted to the outcry from Nigerians over a viral video which showed him advertising an upcoming event in Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA.

Davido in the viral video posted by Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo on his official Instagram page was seen with a young girl advertising the program.

In his reaction however, Davido stated that he just made a video for a fan for personal use and had no idea it was going to be used for an advert.

He also threatened to take the case further if COZA and those involved do not take down the video, adding that he has nothing to do with the church.

Davido tweeted;


"I'm writing to quickly disclaim viral videos going around of me advertising for COZA events. I have nothing or whatsoever to do with the church!

The fact I did a quick video for a kid introduced as a fan just for her personal use and it was chopped up and used for such an advert extremely disappoints me.

It is fraudulent and extremely disrespectful! I have never and definitely not associated with COZA church and have reached out to those responsible for this madness immediately!

I will most certainly be proceeding further if you do not retract that video. A word is enough!"

Angela Okorie has warned those peddling fake account of the attack she suffered from yet to be identified persons last weekend, to desist from it.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, Angela said men of the anti-kidnapping squad are watching and would pick up anyone who posts fake news about the incident.

Funke Akindele cries out as security guard breaks woman’s head

Actress, movie producer and happily married mum of twins, Funke Akindele, has expedited the arrest of a Security guard who broke the head of a woman with a belt.

Crying out on her Instagram page, Funke narrated the incident thus:

"Just heading back home after shoot.Saw a woman crying and bleeding from the head I had to stop with my driver then she said the security guys at the circle mall JAkAnde broke her head with their belt. I asked but they ignored me. So I need someone to answer to this. I think this is unfair. Why attack her. She didn't even enter their territory."

Giving an update hours later, Funke shared videos of the wounded woman saying:

Award winning Nigerian singer, Wizkid has reacted to the recent issue between Davido and pastor Biodun of COZA church.

Recall that a viral video posted by Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo on his official Instagram page showed Davido with a young girl advertising an upcoming program in COZA.


Following the emergence of the video on social media, Nigerians slammed the artiste for associating himself with COZA despite the Busola Dakolo rape scandal with Pastor Biodun.
