The West African Examinations Council, WAEC, has released the list of withdrawn certificates of candidates, who were believed to have engaged in malpractices during its examinations held as far back as December 1992 and 1993.WAEC released the examination years and certificate numbers of the affected candidates and revealed that the nature of their malpractices was impersonation.The list of affected WAEC candidates was published in the weekly bulletin of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, released on Monday.In the JAMB bulletin, WAEC identified the candidates as, "Ukaumunna C. December 1992 examination with certificate number, NGSP 0233613; Chinna H. December 1993 with certificate number, NGSP 0572427; Koffi E. December 1993, with number NGSP 0455669; and Oham J. December 1994, with certificate number, NGSP 0177271."Others are "Mbara G. December 2001, with certificate WNR 2248072; Ifo S. December 2001, with number NGWASSCP 1307367; Ugwu P. December 2005 with certificate number, NGWASSCP 4534182; Anene J. December 2008, with number, NGWASSCP 5505913; Ogbenna C. December 2011, with certificate number, NGWASSCP 06927486; and Nwangwu I. December 2014, with certificate number, NGWASSCP 8392056."JAMB noted that in order to avoid such impersonation during its Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, it was partnering the National Identity Management Commission to enforce candidates' registration for the national identity number. The board said, "In view of the cases listed JAMB's partnership with NIMC is imperative. In order to have a seamless registration for the 2020 UTME, we have put machinery in place to test run the new registration regime under the joint platform of JAMB and NIMC using the NIN. "The Registrar, Prof Is-haq Oloyede, sequel to this, therefore, directed members of staff in offices nationwide to participate in the trial registration which started on Friday, November 29, and is to end Tuesday, December 3. Recall in February 2019, Gbenro Ajibade called out Osas, accusing her of neglecting their child multiple times. Dr Uche Ogah, the Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, under President Muhammadu Buhari's Government, has reacted to allegations that he worked for the ruling Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Abia State, as well as sabotaged the chances of the All Progressives Congress(APC) during the last 2019 elections in the State.Dr. Ogah who was the gubernatorial candidate of the APC during the poll in Abia state, has rubbished the purported claims, accusing unscrupulous elements of embarking on adventure of propaganda to score cheap political points, Daily Post reports.In an earlier report by the Daily Post, Amb. Vincent Ubani had in an interview over the weekend, claimed that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the State-sponsored the Dr. Uche Ogah during the March 23 gubernatorial poll, attributing that to the poor outing of APC in the last election in Abia.However, Dr. Ogah, in a statement made available to newsmen, by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Great Imo Jonathan on Tuesday morning, lambasted the ex- governorship candidate of African Action Congress(AAC), Ambassador Vincent UbaniDr. Ogah's statement read in parts; "My attention was drawn to an interview granted by one Vincent Ubani, where he attacked the person of Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, the Honourable Minister Of State, Mines and Steel Development. The latest attacks is obviously a cheap propaganda deployed by shameless political dogs, albeit through a man who has been considered mentally unhealthy by many. "But for the concerns of those who are aware of his mental condition and those who may be misled by his demented utterances I wouldn't have bothered with a response. To accentuate his mental frailty, this attack dog claimed in the said interview that he is a chieftain of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), even when he was described in the publication as "the ex-governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Abia State, during the 2019 election". "Ubani claimed that "the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state-sponsored the Minister during the March 23 gubernatorial poll", attributing that to what his poor mind told him was a "poor outing of APC in the last election in Abia. That statement exposes his poverty of mind and that of his sponsors, who are obviously ignorant of the fact that Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah's candidature brought massive fortune to the All Progressives Congress in Abia State, in the last election. The result of the last election shows that despite the rigging that took place in the state, APC got close to one hundred thousand votes, besting other traditional parties that were considered strong before the coming of Dr. Ogah to the party in the state. "From the facts above, it is self indicting for this attack dog and his sponsors to say that "Dr Ogah lacked the needed leadership acumen to steer the ship of governance in Abia and the country, Nigeria at large". That he and his so called "cohorts" undermined the political fortunes of President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC in the South-East zone. Even when available records points to the contrary. Especially judging from the results APC and President Muhammadu Buhari got in 2015 and the result of 2019 under the leadership of Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah in 2019. "Again Vincent claimed that, " Dr. Ogah and Ikpeazu are working hand in hand, sharing Abia resources". This obviously was based on the news of the recent visit of The Honourable Minister Of State, Mines And Steel Development to his state, where he represented President Muhammadu Buhari at an event and paid a courtesy call on the governor of the state, even as protocol demands. This goes to show that the said Vincent Ubani is not only mentally debilitated, but even his sponsors are also bereft of knowledge of protocols as it relates to state functions".  | ||||||||||||||||

Thankfully, they both survived, though Georgina needed blood transfusion afterwards. The Anambra State Police Command, has declared Barr Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lawyer to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu wanted.The Police Commissioner, CP John Abang made the declaration in Awka on Tuesday.He said the declaration was in connection with the killing of two police officers by members of the IPOB in Oraifite, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State on Monday, Daily Post reports.The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Haruna Mohammed had in a press release on Monday evening stated that members of IPOB in Oraifite killed two police officers when a team of security men went to arrest Ejiofor over complaint of abduction levelled against him.Haruna said the members of the proscribed group immediately attacked the police, killing two of its men and setting ablaze a vehicle belonging to the command.Declaring Ejiofor wanted, CP Abang said, "We implore law-abiding Nigerians from North, South East or West who have information about this man to report to the nearest police station.
