Hello there,

It's a new year - full of new opportunities. And what better way to kick off 2020 than to test strategies and features that could be beneficial to your account? Use campaign drafts and experiments to understand whether proposed changes will help you reach your business goals.

Before setting up a test, create a hypothesis about how your proposed change could impact your campaign. It's important to prioritize tests that could have the most significant impact on your performance. For example, if a campaign is currently using Target CPA bidding, you could run an experiment to see if Maximize conversions bidding would result in more conversions.

Ensure your experiments produce clear results with these best practices:

  • Test one variable at a time to isolate the effect of the change you're testing.
  • Use a 50/50 experiment split to reach statistical significance as quickly as possible.
  • Avoid making changes to your original campaign while running an experiment.
