Timi Dakolo has come out to clear the air over the insuantion that a certain Michelle Dakolo who dragged her brother on social media is his sister.According to the music star, Michelle Dakolo is his cousin and not his sister as reported earlier. He went on to say his only sister lives in Lagos and is doing very well for herself."Make una leave me o, I only have one sister and she is doing fine in this Lagos and her name is nor Michelle. Michelle is my cousin. I am very sure she is talking about her brother not me," he wrote. He died on Wednesday February 19 in his hotel room in Abia State while attending a summit.In a statement released by the Actors' Guild of Nigeria (AGN) PRO Monalisa Chinda-Coker, it was gathered that the President of the Guild, Mr. Emeja Rollas cancelled all official activities for three days to mourn the late actor."With heart full of sorrow, we announce the sudden death of the immediate past National PRO of GNU, Frank Dallas Ebulukwu."The National President of AGN, Ejezie Emeka Rollas has declared three days of National mourning and prayers accross all State Chapters including FCT Abuja.'"In view of this, all official activities of the Guild at all levels are hereby cancelled for three days. "State Chapter Chairmen are instructed to open condolence register in his honour from Monday, 24/02/2020. "Monthly meeting for February is dedicated to mourning and prayers. We shall be guided accordingly while we await further directives and burial arrangements from the family. May his gentle Soul rest in peace." Dorcas denied the incident by describing the sisters as clout chasers in an Instastory post she shared.Diane who however shared "receipts" to back her claims of Dorcas borrowing things from her sister, has also shared a video which captured moment the actress assaulted Sophia. Women have become their own worst enemies. Chances are very high that if your man is cheating on you look at your four closest friends."I'll tell you that without fear of contradiction or batting an eyelid. The person who is the most dangerous is the one you trust. It is the one you run to and say these are the issues I'm going through. She is the one who befriends you to cover up what she is doing with your husband. | Emir Sanusi: Fathers who send out their children as almajiris should be arrested Posted: 23 Feb 2020 03:00 AM PST  Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi has called for the arrest of fathers who send out their children as almajiris.Speaking at a conference organized by the Future Assured Initiative, a non-governmental organisation of First Lady Aisha Buhari, in collaboration with the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) on Thursday February 20, the Kano monarch said there is no law that backs a man to marry, have children and abandon them without living up to his responsibility to them.Emir Sanusi told men who are too poor to take care of their family, to go out themselves and beg instead of sending their children.He said;"Every day, wives are complaining about their husbands who claim their rights but abandon their responsibilities of marriage, women being divorced with their husbands not taking care of the children and those children ending up on the streets, drugs, political thuggery, violent extremism," he said. "No law that talks about consent in marriage, the rights of wives and husbands, domestic violence , rights of women divorced , the responsibilities of husbands under divorce situations, if a child is found on the streets, is the father that is responsible and can the state hold him accountable? "Do you just marry and have children without any responsibilities? The reason Allah send His Prophets is that there should be justice in this world. Justice in our relationship with our maker and in our relationship with our fellow human beings. "Justice means that everyone is given his rights. If a man takes the privilege of being the head of the family, he takes the responsibilities of being the provider of the family. You cannot take that privilege and a band the responsibilities. "Is it a fact that a father has the right to force his daughter into a loveless marriage? that you have the rights to batter you wife? You have the right to have children and push them to the streets to beg? That when you divorce your wife, you ask her and her children to pack and go back to her father's house and that is the end? "I can spend 100 years saying that it is wrong and un-Islamic for a man to beat his wife, but it is the Governor and the state house of assembly that should pass the law, it is the courts and the police that will make sure that the woman gets justice. The Scholars and Emirs cannot do that. "So, the problem is these groups of human beings are those who will stand to answer to Allah if there is no justice. "The traditional and religious leaders have an obligation to ask for justice, but those with the political powers have an obligation to put in place the processes that will make sure that these justices are complied with."  |

Ahead of its April 10 nationwide release, here's a first look at 'Fate of Alakada: The Party Planner'.The upcoming comedy set for release April 10,2020 stars Abraham, Broda Shaggy and a host of reality and music stars including Big Brother Naija season 3 winner, Mercy Eke, Davido and Peruzzi.The 'Alakada' franchise officially kicked off in 2013 with the release of the first 'Alakada' based on a university undergraduate who results to telling ridiculous lies in order to fit into the school's high profile students. The announcement was made via 2baba's Instagram account. In the announcement, the legend wrote, "Anticipate!!! This album is for warriors."The album will be a follow-up to 2014 effort, Ascension. Although 2baba released the commemorative Face2Face 10.0 and compilation album, Rewind.Select.Update, they are not original albums.The album will be his fifth album release under Hypertek and it will be a commemorative effort for 20 years of excellence in Nigerian music. | 'I wasn’t happy with the way I looked' Law student reveals with his weight loss photos Posted: 23 Feb 2020 01:30 AM PST  A law student took to Instagram to share his weight loss photos as he recounted his journey towards achieving the body size he wanted.According to @felix_okoro1, he wasn't happy with the way he looked so he began his weight loss journey in 2019 by walking for at least 1 hour a day, before his friend told him of a final year project on weight loss and he decided to give it a try.He said he began his weight loss journey in 2019 with 150 kg and 8 months later, he weighs 90kg.The law student wrote; "I've always though weight loss was going to be a horrible and stressful experience. I wanted to be healthy, strong, most especially happy for who I was. Don't get me wrong, someone can be on the plus side and be happy for who they are. But for me it was hard for me to be 'fat and happy'. When you're unhappy with yourself and how you look, you would try to change yourself, in order to accept yourself. People would tell me "I like that you are happy with the way you look" and I'll reply with a smile "Yes I am" but deep down I knew I wasn't. I started walking for at least 1 hour a day before my friend told me of a final year project on weight loss and I decided to give it a try. We used dance cardio by #keairalashae for the workout and I continued with the workouts even after the project ended. I started my journey in 2019 with 150 kg and 8 months later, I weigh 90kg I think it's time to hit the gym"  |
| Davido slaps male fan on chest for trying to take a selfie Posted: 23 Feb 2020 01:00 AM PST  A heartbroken fan of Nigerian music star David Adeleke aka Davido, has called out the singer on social media following an ugly encounter he had with him.According to him, the incidence happened on Friday, February 14, at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Ikeja, when he went to pick up one of the artistes that he promotes.However, things got ugly after he approached the singer who also happened to be at the airport.Instead of living out the moment he had always imagined with OBO, he got a slap on the chest from the singer for getting to close and trying to take a selfie with him.
